The end!!!
What happens after the credits? When I rented it (because I'm kinda skint) I skipped the credits but then my mate told me that you have to sit through the credits. What happens???

Yes their is NO Halo 4, but..Bungie seems to hint towards the iron planet from their 1990's game Marathon,..Which ALSO happens to be an achivement and armour on Halo 3, saying HALO 3 is over is true..but Marathon may become the next one.. ;)

After the credit a little story comes up which shows Master Chief survives and he is on the other half of the aircraft where Arbiter also was, except Arbiter gets to earth safely and chief is lost in space. Cortana wakes up chief while he is floating on the aircraft, once chief gets up he goes to this place in the aircraft to sleep and Cortana says "it will be a while before they find us, centuries even" Chief tells Cortana "wake me when you need me". After that story ends but it's a sign of Halo 4.

Yeah master cheif is in space but both bungie and mirosoft has tols the public that halo was a triligy that means 3 games (excluding halo wars) and their will be no halo 4

Ok there might be things you might not understand sssooooooooooooooo......................master chief wakes up in half of the ship you took off in.the arbiter was in the other half but he landed omn earth.on earth there is a memorial for the soldiers that fought in the war and died including capt. Keyes and on the ship half in space master chief goes in a sleep thing because it could take a while till they find him and he says "wake me when you need me." I know it's not super good explanation but least I did it:D

There is a little movie with Master Chief in it on a air craft, he was just going to sleep till they came after him. Some say he is dead.
