I saw this on a comercial but I don't know if it is treu but does master chief die? I only saw it on a comercial but I don't think that is true

No master cheif does not die if you don't watch the credits then you probably think he does...and and watching after the credits the try to get you to think that there is going to be a halo 4 but theres not

Yes he dies...they make you think he dies but he stays alive then cortana and master chief fall into the Death Star

He doesn't die, they make you think that he does,..but if you play on Legendary and watch through the credits, it shows him landing on a planet..I believe called "Iron" from the game Marathon..(Bungie's old series of games from 1990..) and I believe they might bring back Marathon with Master Chief in it..

In the beginning because of landing. He is unconscious but comes to life in a few minutes after a hard landing.
