Yes, it is true. It is called the Gravity Hammer. Used by Brute Cheiftans.

Yes, It's called the gravity hammer, the 2nd melee-based weapon.
Also, you can knock grenades and even rockets away with good aiming.

Yes very true, there is a Brute Hammer which maybe tougher than the Sword, but harder for your enemies to escape the wrath.
