In the hunting missions where can you find the black wolf. It says he is..

Ok, I've killed the Black Wolf and heres an answer that should help you defeat the monstrous creature.

Where the Buffalo are, which is in the Badlands is where you find him, check your map and right in the very center there's an open area with green grass and if you go there, there will be an abandoned house all torn up, thats how to tell if you're there if your map doesn't help.

Anyway, sometimes Buffalo aren't roaming around there and I'm pretty sure the wolf isn't there if the Buffalo aren't, sometimes he just isn't there, so if he's not there, go ride around the country, do stuff away from the plains then return and see if he's there.

Okay if you have already spooked him from the buffalo herd (the badlands) than he goes to a spot west of the badlands...... It's about halfway between badlands and empire (use your map)...... There is a little inlet in the south side of the mountain ridge........ It is normally where a bunch of wolves or coyotes or somethin live and there is some gold in the back too....... Make sure you shoot him in the head to kill him quick cause he will kill you in one hit.

I gave away this game months ago but if I remember the little bit where you can work the ranch, to the left is a path up ther that's where you see the black wolf. He doesn't flee so it should be easy

The black wolf is in the badlands behind the mine or in the meadow between the ranch and empire.
