On this game you can't become a police officer, the closest you can get to being a police officer is driving a police car. On GTA 4 the regular game, you can also go after criminals by using the police computer.

You can be a police officer in tbogt although I don't know how, one of the achievements on xbox is to catch criminals with the police computer. Any good websites for the internet cafe?

You cannot be a cop in the game, sorry. You can steal a Police car though and use the in-car computer to do the vigilante missions. But that is as close to being a cop as you get to be.
