You have to get a new phone.you automatically get it after one of the missions

You will get a color phone from Playboy X that has a camera, but you will use it only once in a mission for him. After that you can take pictures, but the pictures can't be saved.

During your missions on the second island you recieve a swanky new phone that can take pictures.
However, the pictures can't be saved or sent to anyone, apart from a few you have to take during some missions.
