Only the small parking lots in fron of safe houses. You can save only 2 vehicles in the yellow areas, even helicopters.

I am unaware of this. So if I were you I'd park a really lame car in the car park (Thats what we calll parking lots over here, lol) and fly around for a bit. If it's still there, then it works. If not, then no.
