Date of Question: Aug 20 2008 | Question ID: 127585 Ok..so I don't have this game yet...but Im dreaming about it.
Hopefully I get it early September. But I have a question about the cheats. Ive been reading, and with some cheats, it blocks certain achievements from being completed right?..So can you ever take the cheats off so that they do NOT block these achievements?

^ He means the achievements, dude.
Basically, to not risk it at all, don't save after you use cheats. Like Wanted level cheats etc, you won't get the Wanted level achievements. It's that kind of thing you have to look for.

Don't dream about gta 4. It's not that impressive.
And no, youc can't take them off.
Just don't use them until you have beaten the game 100%, and gotten all offline acheivements.

What I do is save my game, and then go use the cheats but don't save it. When you want to do missions, just don't use the cheats and save afterwards. When you want to have a mess around, cheat away, just don't save because I wouldn't take the risk.

The games is not that good except the graphics. And no you can't turn off cheats.
