No you can't I don't have but my friend said you can only fly helicopters because of the 9/11 that's why you can't fly aeroplanes

No, the isue with 911 made rockstar remove the planes.
Which is silly, because you can still fly helecopters into buildings.
Besides, people make mods for games, and I'm sure people will make them.

You can't fly planes or jets, only helicopters. If you go 2 the airport and try to get on a plane you get 4 stars.
