Will you have to unlock areas in this game (like liberty city stories) or do start out the game with the entire city?

Just like the others, it looks like you'll be having to complete the storyline, to a set part, before being able to explore other parts. How I like it =D

Yes, this Grand Theft Auto game will be just like all the previous Grand Theft Auto games. You will start out with a big portion on the city and surrounding area at the start of the game, but as you continue to play and complete more missions, you will eventually unlock new areas. Like Blobby said you will be able to go to new cities as you progress throughout the game. So when the game comes out, do not fret over not having all the levels unlocked because that would get boring very quickly. Take your time to explore every new area so you can see where all the shops, and important places are. Find out who in the area carries guns, who are the people that you should talk to if the police are after you. You know, just find out those kinda things.

Same as the other GTA games, onlythis time the city is blocked of by about 10 or o armed guards, and bariers.
You get 6 stars on you if you charge past them.
They block you because of a terrorism threats in other parts of the city.

I just thought of sometin wierd. It's wierd that playboy x lives across the bridge but how would he get home if the bridge was blocked off by cops??????>:-(

You'll have to unlock the islands through missions in this game. The entire city is almost never presented to you at the start of the game in the Grand Theft Auto series. You can go to the other islands, but you'll receive a wanted level for it.

You do have to unlock the islands 1 by 1 but you start with the island with the airport
