Hi. My friends and I are running gears of war on system link. We would like to get the new maps. However only one of us has a hard drive. Can he download the maps and use his system as a sever.
In other words do we all have to get hard drives to play the new maps or can the 360 with the hard drive be used as a server?

This answer is partially a guess, but the idea has come from previous experiences with other games. I'm pretty sure you all need the map. If you didn't need the map, your XB360 wouldn't know what to do with what since it didn't know what was walk on able etc and it would put too much of a strain on your connection to constantly transfer the information to you.
You both have to have the maps saved either on a hard drive or memory unit, the game requires every player in the lobby to have the maps to play them.
