How do i heal crippled limbs?
My legs crippled I don't have any money to see a dr and I don't own a bed. I tried using a stimpak on it but it just makes the green health bar go up but I still can't walk. Is there anything I can do or do I have to start the game again? Cheers
Comment:(Jun 5 2009) Thanks for answers but when i go on the stats screen and select body part, the green health bar on my leg will just fill up but im still limping maybe its a glitch

Well if you don't have the computer like the person above me, then just keep using stimpaks. It may take multiple to heal your limbs. If that doesn't work then you'll need to sleep or get a house and buy the My First Infirmary which can heal you, fix all crippled limbs, and remove all rads. Otherwise, it may be a glitch or something and your screwed.

You can go to your stst screen with the body hit the button togo to limbs (its in the upper right corner) the select the limb you want to heal

Go to your staus screen and it will show your damaged limbs. Press X and choose which limb you want to heal. If you don't want to waste stimpacks do the Power of Atom quest to get a house in Megaton(25 explosives needed), and sleep in it. You can also buy the My First Infirmary kit from Moira at Craterside Supply for about 1500 caps.

You just need to use the screen were you can heal dameged limbs and do on idividual limbs and heal them good enough to fast travel to a new town or settlement.

Just find a bed you can use - in some of the towns there are free beds, and there are shacks you can also find a med kit to repair your limb.

Use the stimpack on your legs. You need to target the area not just take it.
