How do you get to the flit switch on Driftwood Island, after the first mission, and it goes to a seemingly impossible location with a melee weapon as its color?

You need to do all the quests for driftwood after doing the quest where you have to bring the gambler to driftwood.
Once you have done that come back in a few days and a plank of wood will show up meaning you can get to it.
