Anyone know how to make money and experience fast because I am not very good at fighting the larger monsters I am going to be an assassin just in case you need to know?

If you kill animals they drop meat. Wait 4 this meat to sour not rot and sell it the animals will give you little xp but with the money you can buy weapons and armor
Go to the first village and drop off all of yours and your main pawns eqp. And buy as many carrots as you can afford with 150 left over and sleep at the inn there for 3 night until carrots are moldy sell them for 165 each and cont as much as desired can make up to 300,000 a run.
