It's easy all you have to do is go outside the gun shop and clear out all the zombies you must have a pistol or a sniper if you have a pistol open the left door and frank has a right lean when he aims so shooting him should be easy if you stand slightly to the left of the open door if you have a sniper then go far enough away from him that he can't shoot you and headshot him a few times.

You can try and jump over the counter, grab a gun before Cletus throws you back over. Use the racks as cover and wait until he reloads. Shoot him while he reloads, and duck back behind the rack. He'll go down eventually and you'll be the new owner of the Gun Shop.

Go out side after 6 oclock on the 1st day there will be convicts outside kill them (using the shotgun you can get right at the start before you go up the stairs) then take the gun off the back of the car ... It should take between 10 and 20 shots to kill him

I have read several peoples answers on this subject, and nobody seems to know the best way to fight this guy... Except me of couse, This technique when done right kills cletus in under a minute, and if you time it perfectly you will not even get hit. Hide behind the display until cletus empties his gun. The second he stops to re-load rush him. Jump behind the counter and slash him with Adam's Chainsaw. You have to make sure you do not get too close or cletus will grab you, and throw you over the counter. It may take you a couple times to get the timing down, but once you hit him, just keep hammering the attack button. You can usually hit him three times in a row, killing him. He is actually one of the easiest bosses in the game. If you can master this move. Little tip, Adam's Chainsaw, or Cliff's Machete are pretty much the best weapons in the game for almost all of the enemy bosses. You can even use them on Isabella, however the best method fro her, is to stand on the dumpster in the corner, and use the shotgun on her. The only 2 times you need a gun for a Boss Fight is the first time you fight Carlito, and the Convicts.
