Question for Dead Island Riptide

I am on Chap 5, big group fight while the water pump works, every time I get to 3 bars left on water level the game freezes??!!...and I have to reload game? Is this a bug? A faulty disc?...my xbox appears fine and is working with every other game....any help?...cheers...Johnnyboy

It is a bug
It has happened to me LOADS of times before
You might have to buy a new game cos that's what I did and it worked
