There's a way to play split screen but you may have to hack a little

If you're suggesting you can play split screen by doing hacking and would you suggest doing that? Cause I would really like to know of there is a way so we can shove it the makers of the sleeve for the game

I've played two player co-on on dead island before as split screen. I just can not for my life remember how I can do it again.

Sadly, no. You cannot play splitscreen co-op and it must be played online via xbox live.
