I have found the purple skull, but when I pick it up it keeps freezing my system... Why!!???

How do I get past opes village?!?!? The game messed up an I only have accessto the weapons that spawn around the village! All my other ones are gone. Help!?!?!

It could be disc damage or glitching,if the latter an HDMI cord actually helps with glitching,so I would recommend one. (Makes the graphics seem more real too)

All my weapons haven't got a lot of durability I've completed the game once and tried upgrading my durability for them but they take on about 3 to 4 zombies then there useless please help as I'm in desparate need of sturdier weapons
