Poisonbite Ring

I'm in Earthen Peak, about to fight the boss with the poison on the floor, and I can't find the Poisonbite Ring?

You will find it in the beginning of Earthen Peak, on the lower tier. There's a staircase to the right of that little platform that appears to go nowhere, alongside an Estus Flask Shard.
