When the big guy with a machine gun sarts shooting at you the only thing to do is run around. How do I kill him.

If this is the big metal guy who walks on four legs then you need to fire rockets at the ring of light on his lower body. Rockets and Rocket Launchers are scattered across the area on places where you can take cover. You need to fire about 4 rockets to kill him but be careful, after three hits, his pattern of attack changes. He fires rockets more frequently so be careful.

Hey, sorry about my last answer. I got confused with a different enemy. What you have to do is use your shield and deflect his bullets back at him. Aim for his head for maximum damage. Keep doing this and he will eventually fall to his knees and will be glowing red. As with every enemy who's taken sufficient damage, they will glow red. This indicates that you can perform a finisher on them when you are next to them. Be careful though, because he won't be down for long. If he gets up again, just deflect his bullets back at him again. When you kill him, his circuits will provide your Glaide with electricity, which you will need to energise the elevator so I would recommend you kill him near the steps to the room of the elevator.

Hey, it's me again. I found the correct way to defeating him. The first time I fought him I used the shield to deflect the bullets back at him. Luckily, the bullets hit his shoulders which made me believe that this was the most effective way to defeat him. It was only later, where you fight another one, that I found out that there is a small circular light emitting device of some description on each of his shoulders. You need to use the Glaide and apply your After Touch skills to destroy them and he will be at your mercy.

There is an easier way. Just run around him. He is very slow to turn around and get the machine gun going. When behind him aim at the two canasters on his shoulders. This will break down his main defences. From here just power throw your Glaive at his back a few times so he glows red then power throw the Glaive to his faces and he will go down.
If you get close behind him he will take a big swing at you, this is the perfect time to aim your power glaive at him.
