I Hate the Favela

I was just wondering if there was an easy way to get past "Takedown" because for some reason, I'm not even able to get past it on Hardened. Please respond Smile

I died a lot on this mission on Veteran, but I got pass it. You have to watch out for ambushes. Keep an eye on the rooftops. Take cover in any house you see. Any good shot you can find, take it. Every time you die, look where they came out from, and remember from your mistake. It's how I got passed the spot. Check your corners. Check behind you. I don't know if you can change your controller sensitivity, but if you like it where you can turn fast, change it.

Remember those tips, it will help you. Oh, have fun in the Hornet's Nest.

This mission is hard. Really Hard. Just be extremely patient. Try to take out enemies one by one, instead of rushing ahead. There are dogs, RPG's on the roof tops, some snipers, and a LOT of gang members. Shoot through windows and watch roof tops and corners. Stick with a shotgun and Assault Rifle with the Noob Tube. Akimbo weapons are good becuase you can have a constant stream of fire (shooting one, reloading the other). I typically use the ACR that is in the beginning, Akimbo Mini Uzi's to start out. I switch the ACR out for AK-47's or MP5K's, and the Uzi's for Glock 18's or M1014's.

You need to be really aware of all the buildings and alleys around you.
Get a decent weapon (SMG, assault rifle, machine pistol) and a good shotgun.
I found it quite easy when I used the FAL ACOG Sight which was quite surprising.

Crouch and lay down while taking out all of the enemies. Make sure thay are all dead before you move.

Ive completed the game on veteran and take it slowly and just before you go into the favela meat says gotta get these civies out of here don't jump down stay prone keep popping in an out from behind the dumpster. I found the hardest bit was just before the final breach bit on the oil rig where the smoke is.

yeah that mission is hard i just found a shot gun and a sniper and tried picking off as many as i could see from a far with the sniper and then using the shot gun for when i was moving forward through the map

No, you must beat the game you would on any other difficulty.
