I just read this "Can you level up even when your not playing xboxlive

One answe was "You can, but it does not count towards your live profile, only the local account."
Well, if you can, could someone please tell me how?

There was a lot of misguided answers there, but the final answer is that you can not level up without Xbox Live. All of the customization options (guns, perks, special equipment) are there already in local play; the only customization option that is not there would be the camouflages, because you must level them up in multiplayer to gain the option to put them on your gun.

NOW, if you can tell me how to hook my headphones (just for listening to whats going on in the game )into my xbox 360, I'll give you my first born :
Seems kind of strange to build a box of any type, plays music, movies, games, etc...
