How do you activate the beacon after the first missions completed?

Question for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
How do you activate the beacon after the first missions completed? The tank is being destroyeed and all I have to do is access the beacon to launch an airstrike over the enemy. How do I do that? What button(s) or where is that located in that small area of gunfire that I need to locate?

It's located at the top of the hill, on the opposite side of the map that you came in from, it's by the building with all the enemy fire coming from, and you can't enter the building. There is also fence on the top of the hill, and look for the glowing circle then go up to it and place the becon there and then you will finish the level.
