Controls?
I don't know if I want to buy this game unless I can get the stick layout I want. Are all the controls customizable or is there a set control scheme? Can you change how the sticks function?

The stick layout is set but there are four layouts you can choose from. No you can not customize your own stick layout far as I know.

You can change the stick layout to other pre-set alyouts, however the default is simple easy and effective. Trust me if you like FPS games this is worth your while.

Yes you can, there are I think four sepeate layouts already and I believe you can create a custom one
