How do you save in borderlands 2. I played a long time and quit and had to start from the begining as there was no option to save like the original.

Borderlands 2 has an auto-save feature, along with manual saves (accessed through the start menu). Whenever you see the blue Borderlands icon, the game is saving itself and you should not shut your console off until the logo dissapears

Though this is correct, when you pause the game and press exit, it will say
Save & Exit.

For many of us, this feature simply does not work. Approaching the save points, and selecting Save/Quit on exiting ... does not save the game. One is forever respawned a checkpoint earlier in the game ... unable to make permanent progress beyond it. I have not explanations for this on the web, and have not received a response from the developers on this issue. Very sad and frustrating,

Having the same problem respawning much earlier. Played one section almost 6 times now. Really frustrating and irritating

there does not seem to be any other way to save and it is a total drag to have to keep going through sections of this game over and over. I am pobably going to pullit.

Same issue here, I played for 3 hours yesterday, I had selected [Quit] and it said [quit without saving?] or [Cancel?] giving me the impression that it must have auto saved most of the progress. But I had to start at the Very Beginning Again as nothing was saved!!!
