How do you ignite the towers?

ANSWERS

 
The first step in igniting a tower is to defeat the Borgia Captain associated with the tower. Once the Captain is defeated climb the
tower. Once at the top the Ignite option will be available on the display in the upper right corner of the screen. I always Synchronize the view point by standing on ledge associated with the tower before
burning it down.

for everyone else who reads this and it still doesnt work. the first tower doesnt work until you go back and talk to machiavelli first.
