How do I get pass the part where you shoot the truck before it rams you into the train

I can't seem to get pass this part where you are in a back of a truck and you have to shoot all these cars coming at you while the cartel truck is coming for you and you have to shoot the hood/engine before it rams you into a parked train car and you blow up and have to start over and over til you get past it and I'm super super frustrated, it just won't blow up before it rams me every time , done one please HELP ME, thanks....
