Unlock Jamais Vu Mission

When you have collected ALL 9 XOF patches the Jamais Vu Extra Op which is Xbox-exclusive will become unlocked. In the James Vu Extra Op players will take on the role of Raiden, the mercenary-turned-cyborg-ninja from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Cassette Tapes Locations

There are a total of 17 Cassette Tape Locations and fnding them ALL will earn you the 'Information' Achievement. Only 12 Cassette Tapes need to be picked up manually. The other 5 will unlock automatically while you do this. Some can be picked up just like the XOF Unit Patches and others are a reward for rescuing certain prisoners, interrogating enemies or simply beating a mission with any rank. You also have to beat ALL missions (including the console specific extra op) on the Hard difficulty setting to unlock one of the tapes. The Hard difficulty setting becomes available when you have beaten a mission for the first time. The Extra Op mission becomes unlocked when you find ALL the XOF Unit Patches.


Unlock Hard Mode

When you complete a mission the Hard difficulty setting for that specific mission will become unlocked.


Zone of The Enders Music Tape

A remix track from 'Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner' can be unlocked for use in the music player when you complete ALL the missions on the Hard difficulty setting.


XOF Unit Patches Locations

Check out the video below to see the locations of ALL 9 unit patches. After obtaining a collectible, you must reach the next checkpoint to save the progress. If you die before saving the game, you will have to collect it again.

Jamais Vu Sniper Rifle

In the Jamais Vu Extra Op you can find the Sniper Rifle on the tower where you find the Snatcher using the 'Kojima Productions' searchlight. Extra ammo for the sniper rifle can be found at the storehouse inside the Admin building on the west side.


Jamais Vu Commander Armour

Complete the Jamais Vu Extra Op on the Hard difficulty setting to unlock the green Commander Armour for Raiden. The green-colour serves no purpose other than a colour swap.


Unlock Bonus Extra Op Mission

Collect ALL 9 of the XOF patches in the 'Ground Zeroes' mission and then successfully complete the mission to unlock a special Extra Op mission. This mission is exclusive to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game.


Jamais Vu White Armour

When you complete the Jamais Vu Extra Op on the Normal difficulty setting the White Armor for Raiden will become unlocked. The white-colour serves no purpose other than a colour swap.


Unlock M-2000 Sniper Rifle

Earn an 'A' rank to get the Broughton Model 2000 Sniper Rifle, Detachable-Magazine. This weapon is a large caliber rifle with a three-step variable magnification scope. Check out the video below to see how you can get this sniper rifle quickly.
