If you press any button immediately after defeating your opponent you will be able to select the winning pose for your character.

When you have defeated your oponnent hold Left or Right and tap 'Start' to use a hidden taunt. Each character has two secret taunts and they can only be used when an opponent has been defeated and before your character goes into his/her winning pose.

This feature becomes available when you hold ALL four attack buttons before the 'Character Select' screen appears. Then when the 'Character Select' screen does appear move to the character you want to use and either press 'Start' or let time run down.

To select the following hidden characters highlight the indicated character at the 'Character Selection' screen and move the specified direction once.
Unlock Grant:
Highlight Rock Howard at the 'Character Selection' screen and move Left once.
Unlock Kain:
Highlight Terry Bogard at the 'Character Selection' screen and move Right once.
