Side-stages are not automatically unlocked by clearing stages. Complete the following tasks to unlock the corresponding side-stage.

Side Stages - Jin

Battle of New Hefei Castle:

Escort ALL allies to safety in 'East Gates Battle'.

Battle of Xuchang (Hypothetical):

Clear all hypothetical conditions in stages prior to 'Battle of Xuchang'.

Defeat the Rebels:

Defeat all enemy officers before defeating Liu Shan in 'Capture of Chengdu'.

Xiahou Ba's Journey:

Defeat Cao Xun, Cao Xi, and He Yan before eliminating Cao Shuang in 'Coup d'etat'.

Side Stages - Shu

Battle of Chencang:

Rescue Ma Su before he gets trapped in 'Battle of Jieting'.

Battle of Fan Castle (Hypothetical):

Clear all hypothetical conditions prior to 'Battle of Fan Castle'.

Disturbance at Guandu:

Do not defeat retreating enemies in 'Defense of Xu Province'.

Pacification of Nanzhong:

Defeat Xiahou Mao before Guo Jia appears in 'Ambush at Chang'an'.

Side Stages - Wei

Battle of Chibi (Hypothetical):

Clear all hypothetical conditions in stages prior to 'Battle of Chibi'.

Battle of Puyang:

Defeat Tao Qian before he escapes in 'Battle of Xu Province'.

Battle of Xiapi:

Do not rescue Cao Ang and Cao Anmin in 'Battle of Wan Castle'.

Side Stages - Wu

Assault at Xinye:

Do not allow enemy officers to breach the defense lines in 'Defense of Jiangxia'.

Battle of Guangling:

Ensure Gan Ning's survival and defeat Shamoke in 'Battle of Yiling'.

Battle of Hefei (Hypothetical):

Clear all hypothetical conditions in stages prior to 'Battle of Hefei'.

Battle of Liang Province:

Defeat Lu Gong before he escapes in 'Battle of Xiangyang'.

Defeat Gan Ji:

Defeat Xiahou Dun and Gan Ji before reaching the escape point in 'The Little Conqueror in Peril'.
