Dig a tunnel into hell making sure you can easily access it from initial soawn with about five pieces of stone or lanterns (any block will work just make sure you have five or six). Then build a tower five tall, look down and kill all the zombies below you (not the skeletons). They will drop gold ore, copper ore, and diamonds. For this strategy to work you must be on a game mode that has zombies (no dragon endurance or peaceful modes).
