Zombie Brain Harvesting Tips

There are several easy ways to make your zombie brain hunt in the zombie island
Downloadable content less infuriatingly long.

1:You should definatly have a good shotgun and a good sniper rifle. The sniper is good to get the attention of large groups while killing off 2 or 3 in the process. The shotty is good against zombies in ANY game I have ever played.

2:Always try to use incindary and explosive weapons, no elemental power is better than corrosive and electric against zombie flesh.

3:I have noticed that zombies are more likely to drop a brain if you kill them with a critical hit (A.K.A. Blasting their face off, another reason why the shotty and sniper are good weapons).

4:Since your going to need to get a lot of headshots, don't be afraid to let them get close, you might want to keep a good mid-range for defilers though.

5:If you only stun a psyco zombie, kill it before it recovers. Not only is this a good window for a headshot, but if they get a chance to recover, their eyes glow orange and they can move about 3 times faster (not exactly sure but that sounds about right to me).

Ok, I hope this guide helps you harvest brains at least a little faster. Have fun blasting off zombie faces.

They're not more likely to drop a brain if you kill them with a critical. That's the only way to get them to drop a brain. You have to get a headshot to get a brain. Also, there is a decent strategy if a player does not like being surrounded by zombies moving around and throwing up constantly. In the very beginning of the area there is a group of zombies in the caves before getting to the town. If the player moves slightly forward and to the left on the rocky ledge just before the area with the zombies they will chase after the character. If the player stands back and to the right on the same rocky ledge they will stop chasing the character. A player can get the zombies as close as desired and snipe them from safety. They will respawn for a while so a player can get a decent amount of brains. When the zombies stop respawning and advancing, just run in and kill the rest. There should not be many at that point (4-6 at most). You can also get their attention and then run back to the ledge. A player can then go to town and refill any ammo supplies after the zombies are all killed. Save and exit then log back in and the fight will start right next to them again. A player can get ~15 brains every time. It's the safest way to obtain brains though probably quite a bit slower.
