When you have beaten the game and the credits are being displayed you can control your character to kick them away.
At the 'Title' screen enter the following codes to enable the corresponding feature.
Level Select:
Press B and Start.
Continue from Last Stage Played:
Hold A and press 'Select' after a 'Game Over'.
Beast Select:
Hold A + B + C + Down/Left and then press 'Start'.
Sound Test:
Hold A + C + Up/Right and then press 'Start'.
