Scoring from outside the penalty area is relatively easy as long as you have a little skill and are within range (on or pretty near the circle that comes out of the box.) The further out you are the harder it is. You will notice when you begin to charge up your shot a meter near your players name box will begin to fill. On this meter will be a red square around three quarters of the way up. All you need to do is stop the meter as close to the middle of this square as you can and aim the left analog stick at your desired top corner. With players like David Beckham who are known for their shooting from distance it is a little easier as the red square will be wider but it is possible with any player.
