I usually like these kind of games but this one sucked.

It had nice graphics but the gameplay was horrible and the sound was just nasty. To be honest if I had to give this a total I would give this 41% this game sucked really bad this makes Yu-gi-oh look good.

It seems as though that Anchor, developers of UFC: Tapout have developed a wrestling game for the X-Box--a good thing.

It seems though that their attempt of a wrestling game, WWF: Raw, has promised lots of things that Smackdown! JBI (PS2) did not have, but the final product has no sight of the "big" suprises that THQ and Anchor promised--a bad thing. Anchor's first venture to the world of the WWF has no specific suprises, except for clothing removal--a new standard for wrestling games, but the game falls flat instantly when you mention it's dissapointments. There was a rumor of 3D crowds, but instead, they're 2D... strips... that don't look too attrative.

The graphics surpass Smackdown! JBI's visuals, and the grapplers are able to groan and whine from attacks, but the wrestlers look somewhat bulky and some of the wrestlers' faces are weird when you compare their faces with their real life counterparts, and comparing them with the characters from JBI. One of the weirdest faces on this game is that of Triple H, especially when you compare his face with the JBI verison.

Another problem is that there's no sign of backstage venues, no commentary and one major letdown, no story mode (not to mention theres no save feature). There's a lot of polygon tears when a wrestler's hand meets his opponents back, making it look like you have the power of "stabbing your opponent without noticing" like in a horror film. Here's some missing matches that are no where in this game: 6-Man Tag, Cage, and Royal Rumble. There are so many problems with the game, so I will say this in 3 words: WWF Raw for the X-Box sucks!

Graphics: ========8.9

Control:=====5.3

Replay Value:==2.5

Overall Rating:

Anonymous 1:==2.0 (worthless)

Anonymous 2:=====5.0 (bad)

The reason I baught an X-Box was because I wanted WWF Raw that is until I played it. At first it was ok the graphics are great but thats the only good feature it has. The roster is way out dated it has practicly no matches. The controls are very hard to learn and its almost imposible to win a match. WWF Raw for X-Box is a waste of money.
