If you need to find a section quickly, press and hold CTRL (Control), then
press F button. This will bring up a serach string box. In it type the
sections number you're looking for and you should be taken to it immediately.
This includes the brackets. This is much faster than scrolling thru entire
guide.

Welcome to my Boomerang FAQ for the Xbox Version of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.
I've decided to set my sites on In-depth guides, hopefully, this was accepted.
This guide should prove a bit helpful with the boomerangs in this game. It
should help you get to know each boomerang and it's pros and cons.

I admit that this guide wasn't really a good work but I was bored and just
didn't feel like writing too much. Oh well, it took up a good hour. And with
no further ado, here is the guide.

If you see something wrong would like to contribute to this Boomerang guide,
email me. Also please if you have a question, email me so I can add it to the
FAQs section. Thank you.

After a set of powerful, shiny compers, the boomerangis the weapon of choice
for Tasmanian Tigers just like your self. Bring Golden Cogs to Julius at his
lab at Rainbow Cliffs so he can plug them into his Congulacious Boomerangerus
Extrapolator and build new techno-rangs for you. Julius can also harness the
excess energy from the Talisman Machine to create new elemental 'rangs. You
might even recieve one a s a gift!

Well, here it is. The main part or section of this Boomerang FAQ. I will
(or have) list all the boomerangs in the this game. In addition to that, I
wrote everything you need to know about the boomerangs. This includes if it's
a elemental Rang or Techno rang, how many cogs or what talisman you need to get
that rang, and more. These descriptions are from the book. Now onto the list.

*Notes: There are 40 Golden Cogs in total*

                            [3.01] Boomerang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Boomerang

Type of Boomerang: Normal Rang

How to get it: You start out with it.

Description: This is your basic ancient gum tree model. No bells and whistles,
just a good, reliable boomerang -- and mighty effective in the paws of the
right Tazzy Tiger.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.02] Aquarang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Aquarang

Type of Boomerang: Normal Rang

How to get it: Go to Ship Rex and Rex will tell you to get them from a pool.
If you were able to get them, then they're yours.

Description: This is the only 'rang that you can use underwater. Its
hydrodynamic design lets it slice through the water like a normal boomerang
flies through the air. Use a pair of these as fins and you yourself can zip
through the deep blue like a greased-up platypus.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.03] Frostyrang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Frostyrang

Type of Boomerang: Elemental Rang (Ice)

How to get it: Defeat 'Crickets Cove' boss stage and Julius will give you this.

Description: This 'rang doesn't pack a lot of punch, but it's a great strategic
weapon. How's that, you say? You can use it to freeze enemies that are
otherwise impervious to boomerangs, then move in and give 'em a good chomp!

*Throw a Frostyrang into a body of water to create a small iceberg that you can
stand on.*

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.04] Flamerang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Flamerang

Type of Boomerang: Elemental Rang (Fire)

How to get it: Defeat 'Bull's Pen' boss stage and Julius will give you this.

Description: Heat things up with a 'rang o' fire! Naturally they can cut
through ice, but I've heard that they're also great for burning through sticky
spider webs.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.05] Zappyrang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Zappyrang

Type of Boomerang: Elemental Rang (Electric)

How to get it: Defeat 'Fluffys Fjord' boss stage and Julius will give you this.

Description: The power of lightning is contained within this electrifying
boomerang. Use it when you want to give your enemies, or perhaps a piece of
machinery, a supercharged jolt.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.06] Zoomerang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Zoomerang

Type of Boomerang: Techno-Rang

How to get it: You must give julius 11 Golden Cogs.

Description: This little beaut lets you do some long-distance boomeranging. But
here's the best part. Switch to TY's View (press and hold the L button).
Everything looks normal, right? Now press the C stick UP-- it's got a built-in
telescope aimer! Bonza! If you've zoomed in a bit too far on an ugly henchmen,
just press the Control stick DOWN to zoom back out.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.07] Multirang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Multirang

Type of Boomerang: Techno-Rang

How to get it: You must give julius 5 Golden Cogs.

Description: What this boomerang lacks in quality it makes up for in quantity.
Although it may not travel as far or as fast as other 'rangs, you can unleash
a whole flurry of them at once. Boss Cass' henchmen would have to be pretty
quick to escape thatbarrage.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.08] Infrarang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Infrarang

Type of Boomerang: Techno-Rang

How to get it: You must give julius 6 Golden Cogs.

Description: This boomerang lets you see as well as a wedge-tailed eagle.
Listen carefully when you're holding this 'rang. It has a built-in sonar that
beeps if there's anything "special" close by. Just switch to TY's View (press
and hold the L Button) and you'll see things you normally wouldn't with your
Tasmanian Tiger eyes. Take a look around with them once in a while. You might
be surprised at what you discover.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                             [3.09] Megarang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Megarang

Type of Boomerang: Techno-Rang

How to get it: You must give julius 6 Golden Cogs.

Description: Julius really outdid himself on this one. This crafty lil' 'rang
can actually recognize bad guys and crates. It homes in on them and delivers a
bull's-eye knockout punch. Those bad guys will think the 'rang had their name
on it -- and they won't be far off the mark!

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                           [3.10] Kaboomarang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Kaboomarang

Type of Boomerang: Techno-Rang

How to get it: You must give julius 6 Golden Cogs.

Description: This 'rang is made from the rare Outback element Exploderium,
which is just as spectacular as it sounds. Launch one of these rippers and
watch the fireworks!

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.11] Chronorang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Chronorang

Type of Boomerang: Techno-Rang

How to get it: You must give julius 6 Golden Cogs.

Description: Put the bad guys in a time warp! This is a great weapon to use on
baddies that are impervious to other 'rangs. Hit them with a Chronorang and
watch them move as slowly as a koala in quicksand. Then, move in for the bite.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
                            [3.12] Doomarang
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Name of Boomerang: Doomarang

Type of Boomerang: Secret Rang

How to get it: All you have to do is destroy the flamethrowers in the final
level (freeze them with your Frostyrang, then bite the to destroy them) and
Sly will give it to you.

Description: The Doomarang is only available in the Final Battle, and boy, are
you going to need it! Just launch this seeing-eye 'rang and guide it by remote
control to those hard-to-reach places. Boss Cass won't know what hit him!
