Thanks for clicking the FAQ. Welcome back to the International Super 
Spy Spectrum. I will explain how to achieve 100% Completion for all 
Levels of SC: CT for both CO-OP and SOLO MODE.

This is the ONLY FAQ online that will present you with EVERY alternate 
route in every Level and explain how to finish ALL the Objectives for 
both Co-op and Solo. Ignore the rest and stick with the best.

It is so cool that there are so many alternate paths in a Level but 
totally unfair that other walkthroughs will present you with what THEY 
think is the only path that you should use. BLASPHEMY! 
For an open-ended game like this, it's best to present ALL of the paths 
and let YOU choose what you think is best and that is what I've done.


All tactics and strategies in this FAQ apply for the XBOX/PC version 
only! Please refer to my PS2/GC FAQ for all the info on those versions.

SCANNING VERSUS HACKING



***********************


From the very first Mission all the way to the last, you are presented 
with the option to SCAN your Objectives or to HACK them.

In certain Missions, you are required to HACK specific computers. In 
essence, it seems difficult to do up close (because of enemy sentries 
or Cameras) but there is a second option available. 
That option is the EEV inside the binoculars that Sam uses.

Click on the Right Analog Stick to enter Binocular Mode. Focus the 
square reticle onto the Computer screen or RETINAL scanner and it will 
start scanning through a wireless link. 
From there you can hack the computer from a safe distance WITHOUT 
having to physically use the PC itself. Remember, the choice is yours.

THE HACKING MINI-GAME



***********************


HACKING ON-SCREEN HUD:
On the left of the screen is a list of IP addresses (999:99:99:99 for 
example). One of these numbers is the correct number.

On the lower right of the screen is the Hacking device that reveals the 
code. When the number glows green for a second, THAT is the part of the 
Keycode value. On the far right of the device is a PADLOCK icon. This 
signifies the number of times you can lock the first set of numbers.


THE HACK VALUE:
999:99:99:99 is the example I will use. 999 (the first three numbers) 
is the number that needs to be locked by pressing the X Button when the 
value glows green. The other three will randomly glow the real value.


HOW TO HACK:
--When you start the mini-game, wait for the first three numbers to 
glow. When it glows, PRESS THE X BUTTON IMMEDIATELY! This will lock the 
value of the code and decrease the amount of IP Addresses in the list 
to the left of the screen (which is a good thing). You can do this for 
all four number sets.
But watch out! There is a timer bar on the device that decreases!

--Once the three numbers are locked, you have to watch the other three 
values to glow up. Match the numbers with the IP Address on the left to 
lock the value and successfully Hack your Computer, Retinal Scanner, 
etc.


You can cancel the mini-game by pressing the B Button but this will 
change the Hack value when you access it again. If you don't hack the 
item before the timer goes red...

     STEALTH TIPS


***********************


--You can now complete the Missions WITHOUT killing anyone.

--I never mention using the SC-20K that much in this walkthrough. Since 
this is only for Stealth setting, the main point is NOT to use it too 
much!

--If you see the opportunity to knock out your foe, DO IT! Use the L-
Trigger for less bloodshed.

--On high ledges, use the "Jump-and-hide" technique. Jump over a ledge 
and shimmy on it past the enemy. When the enemy is out of range, climb 
back up and continue your objective.

--Always explore your surroundings. There is always a certain alternate 
path if you search closely enough.

--The OCP is your absolute best friend. Use it instead of wasting 
bullets.

--Use the QUICK SAVE option at your own pace. I won't mention when to 
use it but be cautious! If Sam is killed during the Mission, he will 
restart at the last QUICK SAVE point. 

--Use the SCAN and HACK option. Certain Computers or items can be 
scanned from a far distance to complete the Objective.

This is what is required of you, Super Spy, to get 100% per Level.

ACCEPTABLE:
--No Kills allowed
--No use of Lethal Force
--Zero Detection
--Zero Alarms
--Zero times identified as an Intruder
--All Objectives Completed
--No bodies found

If any objective is missed or skipped, you will NOT get 100% even if 
you completed the other requirements...DUH!

Welcome to Peru!


                         ++ AREA: THE BEACH ++


Head up the hill and into a small crevice. Continue through until you 
reach a CRAWLSPACE (you'll see glowing limestone). Go through and out. 
Work your way up the steps until you see a bridge across the way. 


From here you have two options to get to the other side:

#1 - Quickly cross the bridge and crouch next to the cave entrance. Two 
soldiers will emerge out and start talking. Quietly enter from where 
they came and look for a crack in the wall and Enter to a sort of 
supply room.

#2 - To the left of the bridge is an alternate pathway that you can 
take. Turn left and you can circle around the mountain to a hidden 
cave. Inside this cave is a spotlight and a ladder that leads up to a 
sort of prison cell area.


Choose one to your liking.


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: SCAN CRATES (FIVE TOTAL)

If you chose path #1, simply go to the end of the room and PIERCE the 
generator to turn off all the lights. Next to the generator is Crate to 
SCAN. SCAN it and go down the stairs to a prison cell area. The second 
Crate is in here with a guard doing target practice. SCAN the second 
Crate with your EEV and go back out.
Before going upstairs, watch the guard that just came back from outside 
the cave. Eliminate him if you want and then head up the stairs.

If you chose path #2, emerge from the ladder and stay in the dark. 
You'll see a Crate and a soldier doing target practice.
Use your EEV to SCAN the Crate across from you. From there, bust out 
the OCP and use it on the light above the Crate to darken the room. To 
make it easier for yourself, eliminate the guard before leaving the 
prison cell area.
As you walk up to the brightly lit area, use the OCP on the swinging 
light. When the guard up here goes to investigate, knock him out. Go to 
the generator and use the PIERCE option to darken the room. SCAN the 
second Crate in here and then go upstairs.


Open the door and make your way down to the darkened area at the 
bottom.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                       ++ AREA: TORTURE ROOM ++


Listen to the whole conversation and patiently wait. One soldier will 
"take a walk" while the other sits down.
Let the soldier walk past you. He'll go up and use the toilets near the 
door you just entered. Ignore him and quietly make your way past the 
torture room. Quietly sneak AROUND the bathtub and work your way out of 
the Torture room. 
Go to the door at the other and use the PICK LOCK option and pick it. 
(Do you need me to tell you how to pick the lock?)

                      ++ AREA: OUTER FORTRESS ++


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: SCAN CRATES 
In this large area, you'll see two tents, two soldiers, and a large 
spotlight. You DO NOT need to eliminate any of the soldiers if you are 
stealthy. Before heading to the next area, quietly head for the second 
tent. When the two soldiers are conversing, quietly walk past them and 
get behind the second tent.
The CUT MATERIAL option will appear. Cut open the tent and go through 
to find Crate #3 to SCAN. SCAN it and head back out.


From here you have two options to get to Crate #4:

#1 - Further down this area is an open doorway with a bright light 
above it. Quietly enter this doorway and head through to the other 
side. When you emerge, you'll see Crate #4 under a tin-roofed sort of 
gazebo with two soldiers conversing at the other side. 
SCAN Crate #4 with your EEV and then jump to the top of the tin-roof. 
Use the OCP on the light above the doorway across from the tin-roof and 
quickly make your way to that doorway before the light goes back on.

#2 - Near the second tent is a large crate box. Have Sam jump on top of 
the box and then jump up to an upper ledge.
 
There's ANOTHER two options from here:

#1 - You'll see a set of stairs going down. You'll hear two soldiers 
conversing and a generator to pierce. Crate #4 is across the soldiers. 
You'll have to eliminate the two soldiers and then SCAN Crate #4. From 
there, hop onto the top of the tin-roof and jump to the doorway above.
DO NOT USE THIS ROUTE! IT'S SUICIDE!

#2 - From the ledge, make your way to a small room with a fireplace and 
two soldiers resting. Quietly sneak past them and out to an upper 
wooden ledge. You'll see two soldiers conversing and Crate #4 under a 
tin-roofed gazebo on the ground. Quietly make your way near the 
brightly lit doorway on the other side. SCAN Crate #4 from above and 
then use the OCP on the light and sneak in.

WHEW!


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE SERVER
When you safely make it here, access the Computer on the left and 
complete the Objective. Don't worry about the soldier in here, he won't 
see you. Once that's done, make your way out to the other doorway.

                       ++ AREA: OUTER LIGHTHOUSE ++


You'll see two soldiers conversing across from you. From here you have 
two options:

#1 - Quietly head down the stairs while they're talking and access 
Crate #5 next to the stairs. Once that's done, continue down the stairs 
and walk past the moody welder and make your way to the Lighthouse 
(there's no other soldiers near the Lighthouse).

#2 - Let them finish their conversation and let them both walk down the 
stairs. Go forward and plan a way to eliminate the soldier that guards 
the upper area (near Crate #5). You can hang on the ledge and then GRAB 
him when he gets close or just be stealthy and grab him from behind. 
Either way, make sure you SCAN Crate #5.
After that's done, go down the stairs and wait patiently for the moody 
welder to finish what he's doing. When he finishes, he exposes a 
Zipline to the Lighthouse. Knock him out and hide his body outside near 
the zipline. Now Sam can access the zipline and ZIP to the Lighthouse.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                       ++ AREA: THE LIGHTHOUSE ++


Once at the Lighthouse, eliminate or sneak past the guard wandering the 
Lighthouse. Enter the door at the back of the Lighthouse and go 
through. 


From here, you'll see a radio operator toying with his radio. There are 
two things you can do:

#1: COMPLETE THE BONUS OBJECTIVE
Once Grim chimes in about the Maria Narcissa, knock out the soldier and 
shoot the radio he was talking to.

#2: CONTINUE FORWARD
Completing the bonus objective is NOT crucial towards 100% so ignore 
him and quietly head up the stairs and Grim will chime in.


--ALTERNATE TACTIC:
If the radio operator sees you before Grim chimes in, you miss the 
Objective and you have to knock him out. 
To retrieve the info that Grim needs, go up the stairs and look for a 
file cabinet and use the SEARCH CABINET option to complete the 
Objective.


--OBJECTIVE: GET THE HELL OUT OF DODGE
Now make your way to the top of the Lighthouse and climb the ladder. Up 
here is the spotlight (What else?) and a soldier circling around. Time 
your movements and climb up. Head for the exit and use the SWITCH 
OBJECT to turn off the spotlight. 

From here you have two options to eliminate the soldier here:

#1 - Wait inside and let him try to turn the spotlight back on. Smack 
him from behind and Call Extraction to end the Mission.

#2 - Turn off the spotlight and then jump over the railing and wait. 
When he gets close, use the GRAB CHARACTER option to toss him over the 
ledge. Jump back onto the ledge and use the Call Extraction option to 
end the Mission.

Welcome to the open sea!


                       ++ AREA: FRONT OF THE SHIP ++


Sam will be in the front of the ship with two soldiers wandering the 
front deck.


--OBJECTIVE: FIND LACERDA
There are two stealthy ways to enter the ship's hull from infiltration: 

#1 - Stealthily make your way down to the stairway on Starboard towards 
the stairway and down to a sleeping guard.

#2 - See those stacks of containers up on top? Jump and climb up to 
those containers and look for a crevice to sneak into. Work your way 
through the containers to the other side. 
You'll emerge into a well-lit area (with no guards). Turn right to see 
a small opening to jump down. Jump down and make your way to the 
stairwell nearby to a sleeping guard.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     ++ AREA: INSIDE THE SHIP ++


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: PLACE TRACKERS ON SIX CRATES
Quietly sneak past the sleeping guard and SLIDE OPEN the door. Climb 
down the ladder and work your way up the large Crates to the other 
side. There is a wall you need to squeeze into on the left side.

Emerge out and find the first Crate and PLACE TRACKER (#1).

Climb your way using the large Crates to the ladder on the other end. 
Climb up and head down the hallway (there's no guards in here).

See that door leaking lots of water? Ignore that door for now. Head to 
the other door and SLIDE OPEN to find a man using a woodshop 
thingamajig. Grab him and knock him out.
Inside this room is a vent (or CRAWLSPACE). Use the Crawlspace and 
crawl to the other side to a large Motor Room.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     ++ AREA: AUXILIARY PUMP ROOM ++


--OBJECTIVE: UNFLOOD THE COMPARTMENT
After you emerge out of the Crawlspace, you have many different ways to 
rid the 2 enemies in this room:

#1 - When you emerge out of the CRAWLSPACE, turn to Sam's right and 
jump over the railing and down to the bottom floor. Use the OCP on the 
swinging lamp above to get the guard's attention. When he leaves the 
switchboard to look for you, quickly sneak over to that switchboard and 
ACTIVATE it.

#2 - You'll see a pipeline above the soldier across from Sam. Use the 
pipeline and eliminate the soldier up here in any style you want. From 
there, jump down and eliminate the soldier working the switchboard by 
sneaking behind him. Use the switch and ACTIVATE it.


You have two options to exit this room:

#1: Head back up to the CRAWLSPACE and make it back to the room with 
the leaky door (it's not leaky anymore).

#2: Exit the door across from the switchboard to a hall. Enter the 
first door and SLIDE OPEN and enter (this is the leaky room).

Either way you choose leads back to the same room. Choose one to get 
your next objective.


--OBJECTIVE: SCAN BILL OF LADING
Go to the room that was leaking water and look for a large Crate with a 
piece of paper on it (it has a red tag) and SCAN it.

Now exit the room to the hallway outside. As you emerge down the 
hallway, two guards will approach towards you. DO NOT INITIATE COMBAT!
Instead, if you turn on Night Vision, you'll see a darkened area on the 
right of the hallway with an open vent.
Enter the vent and creep your way UNDERNEATH the guards and emerge out 
on the other end.

Head down the stairs and open the door (with the whirling red light) to 
another room.

                        ++ AREA: ENGINE ROOM ++


This room isn't hard to figure out. You simply need to make your way 
(quietly) to the other side of the room to the metal stairs.
Make your way up two floors of metal walkways to the top. 
I'll let you figure your stealthy way here (use the Jump-and hide 
technique on the railing!).
At the top floor, enter the open doorway and head out to the other 
door.

                      ++ AREA: SOLDIER'S QUARTERS ++


In this room, you'll see a set of stairs. Don't head up the stairs just 
yet.

--SUB-OBJECTIVE: PLACE TRACKER ON CRATE
Carefully traverse this small but quiet hallway. You'll see a guard 
emerge from a room; knock him out and enter the room he exited.
This is the soldier's bedrooms. Make you way to the back of the room to 
find a Crate and PLACE TRACKER (#2).

Now head out and make your way up the stairs. You'll see an open 
doorway up here.

                       ++ AREA: COMPUTER ROOM ++


--OBJECTIVE: FIND THE LEDGERS OF TRANSIT
When you enter this room, you'll overhear two soldiers conversing. DO 
NOT ENGAGE COMBAT! Instead, find the CRAWLSPACE near the doorway and 
enter through it. Emerge out to find one of the soldiers (by himself) 
browsing his computer. 


There are two ways to obtain the Ledgers:

#1: THE EASY WAY
Exit the CRAWLSPACE and hide in the dark. While the two soldiers 
converse, simply SCAN the Hard Drive (not the Computer screen) to find 
the Ledgers.

#2: THE HARD WAY:
There is a filing cabinet behind the soldier. Slowly creep to the File 
Cabinet behind this man and use the SEARCH CABINET option to finish the 
Objective.


Once that's done, exit this room and head outside. There is a door here 
that leads to a Medical Room with a Med-Kit (and a soldier). 
Use the Med-Kit if you need to and exit to the door outside.

                   ++ AREA: PORTSIDE - OUTSIDE SHIP ++


There is a well-hidden Crate under the stairs near the door to PLACE 
TRACKER (#3).


From here you have two options to use when finding the Captain:

#1 - Go up the metal stairway and open the door on DECK 2. You'll enter 
a Mess Hall. There is a Crate in here to PLACE TRACKER (#4).
From here you need to quietly sneak out of the room to the stairway 
outside this Mess Hall.
Take the stairs up and you'll find another Crate to PLACE TRACKER (#5). 
After you do that, enter the hallway going upstairs to the Main Bridge 
of the ship. From here, grab the Captain and INTERROGATE him.

#2 - Go up the stairway and open the door on DECK 4. You will be on the 
top of the ship. You can explore the upper area of the ship but there's 
nothing that completes the Primary Objective so avoid the exploration.
Enter the door at DECK 4 (from either side) and quietly grab and 
INTERROGATE the Captain.


Once you've interrogated the Captain, knock him out and hide the body.
Head downstairs form the bridge and enter the hallway. Ignore the room 
with loud music and you'll emerge to a well-lit hall with a Crate to 
PLACE TRACKER.

                    ++ AREA: CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS ++


--OBJECTIVE: INTERROGATE/ELIMINATE LACERDA
Across the Crate is a small hall. There's a well-lit bathroom, a closed 
door, and a small kitchen. 
Avoid any bloodshed by listening to the whole Lacerda conversation. 
Once the conversation is over, Lacerda will emerge into the kitchen. 
Grab him and then exit the kitchen (the guards won't even notice you). 
INTERROGATE him and then rub him out to complete the Primary 
Objectives.


--OBJECTIVE: EXTRACTION TIME
Exit back to the Captain's bridge and exit back outside to the top of 
the ship. The Extraction point is ALL the way in the back of the ship 
on the top floor.
Work your way quietly to the back of the ship and you'll find a ladder 
going down at the back. Slide down and you'll see two more ladders.

The farther ladder to Sam's left is the Extraction Point but DON'T go 
there yet!


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: PLACE TRACKER ON CRATE
Climb down another ladder next to Sam and you'll emerge on the very 
back of the ship with three guards. Look for the last Crate and PLACE 
TRACKER. Now head back up the ladder and go to Extraction.

#4 - Security Room (Glass Chamber Upstairs)
#5 - Executive's Office (with the raging fireplace)

                      ++ AREA: OUTSIDE BANK ++


The wall Sam is standing next to will be the Extraction Point at the 
end of the Mission! Remember this place!


--OBJECTIVE: BREAK INTO THE BANK
There are motion sensors in this courtyard. If you get caught...the 
light just turns on. That's it. No alarms.
To avoid being caught by a stupid motion sensor, walk on the concrete 
of the courtyard. Head to the left of the Bank to find a switch. Flip 
it to turn off the spotlights in front of the bank.


There are two things you can do from here:

#1 - Enter through the front doors. If you do, you have to use the PICK 
LOCK option and try to lure the guard sitting behind the Front Desk 
outside to knock him out all while dodging TWO Security Cameras.
Once that's done, you can sneak past the Cameras and HACK his Computer. 
But from there, you can't continue any further.

#2 - DO NOT ENTER THROUGH THE FRONT DOORS! Enter through the right side 
of the bank (watch for a Camera) towards a ladder at the back. Climb 
the ladder to the roof.


BIG NOTE #1: HACKING the Computer in the Front Desk is great and all, 
but you can do that once you're inside the Bank anyway so IGNORE 
entering the Front Doors.

BIG NOTE #2: Near the front doors on the right side is a pipeline that 
Sam can use that leads to a zipline. The zipline transports Sam back 
near the Infiltration point. Is it useful during Extraction? Not 
really, but use it if you want.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                        ++ AREA: BANK ROOFTOP ++


Make your way to the other side and BREAK OPEN option on the door. 
Enter the room and SWITCH OBJECT to open the glass dome. 
Head for the open glass dome and use the GRAB ROPE option and shimmy 
down to the middle of the Banking center.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     ++ AREA: BANK - FIRST FLOOR ++


As you make your way down, you'll be flanked with lasers. Use the EEV 
on one of the Computers in the cubicle to disable all the Lasers. Exit 
this cubicle and head out.

See that snoring guard? Grab and knock him out. (You can grab him and 
make him use the retinal scanner if you want.) 


--OBJECTIVE: PLACE FAKE E-MAILS (EIGHT TOTAL)
BUT...before entering any of the doorways, go to the front of the room 
and the two large glass doors should be open. 
Sneak around the corner to see a guard behind the Front Desk (with a 
Camera above him). Get close and then smack him. Access and HACK his 
computer and place the Fake E-mails. Go back to the other room.

There are two doorways here: the Retinal scanner doorway (the East 
Wing) and the doorway on the left (the West Wing). I will give separate 
walkthroughs if you decide to use one path.


WALKTHROUGH #1 - The Retinal doorway (East Wing)

When you enter here, you'll see a door with a red EXIT sign and a 
Camera above it. Across the EXIT door is a Supply Room with a 
CRAWLSPACE that goes to the bathroom in the West Wing.
Two soldiers traverse East Wing (one walking around and the other is 
messing with the Keypad).
From a far distance, shoot the red EXIT light (it's worth the trouble). 
When Paco (the Keypad soldier) investigates the noise, grab Paco and 
INTERROGATE him to get the Keycode to the Treasurer's Room. Knock him 
out and hid him in the darkened hallway.
Turn the corner and shoot light above the Treasurer's office. This will 
alert two guards, so patiently wait for them to finish investigating 
before entering the office. Once the coast is clear, use the Keypad and 
go inside.


--OBJECTIVE: GET ACCESS AUTHORIZATION (ONE OF THREE)
Once inside the room, go to the Keypad next to the desk and use the 
ENABLE ACCESS option.
Be sure to raid the filing cabinet and HACK the Computer. In this room 
is a CRAWLSPACE that leads to an outside Courtyard with a Camera near 
the CRAWLSPACE. 
BEFORE you use the CRAWLSPACE, go back out the door and shoot the 
remaining light in the East Wing and then IMMEDIATELY go back into the 
office and head for the CRAWLSPACE and exit out.
Across the CRAWLSPACE is a large pipe that you can climb to the second 
floor. Use the OCP on the Camera and then climb the pipe up to a 
balcony above. Jump onto the balcony and enter the CRAWLSPACE that's 
here. Traverse through the vents until you reach a spinning fan. How do 
you turn it off?


--OBJECTIVE: GET ACCESS AUTHORIZATION (TWO OF THREE)
--BONUS OBJECTIVE: DELETE CAMERA ARCHIVES
Under the fan are two soldiers. Try not to make a big scene by 
whistling or shooting at them.
Instead, enter Binocular mode and SCAN the Hard Drive of the Computer 
down below and HACK it. Use the TURN OFF FAN option to turn it off. 
Once it's off, let the soldiers converse until it gets quiet.

Now, jump down quietly and access the Computer across from them. HACK 
it to Disable all the Cameras in the area. DELETE the Archives while 
you're at it.

Before you exit the room, don't for get to ENABLE ACCESS. Exit the room 
and head for the President's office. Use the Keypad and enter through 
to his office. HACK his Computer and then use the ENABLE ACCESS option 
on the Keypad near the Computer to open the Vault Door.


--OBJECTIVE: STEAL $50,000,000 IN BONDS
From here it's up to you to finish the Fake E-Mail Objectives or go 
straight to the Bank Vault.
If you want to finish the Fake E-mail Objectives, follow the next 
walkthrough (for the West Wing). If you decide to go straight to the 
Vault, here's what you do:

From the President's office, jump over the open window and jump down to 
the Courtyard below. GRAB the guard here and INTERROGATE him to get the 
Keycode. Knock him out and hide the body.

Head up the stairs to the Keypad door (but shoot the two lights 
first!). Use the Keypad and then head for the Safety Deposit boxes and 
obtain the TELEMETRIC LOCKPICK. Go down the stairs to the Vault and use 
the Telemetric Pick. Once the Vault is open, PLACE CHARGE on the center 
of the door and then DETONATE CHARGE from a distance.


Now enter the Vault and access the Computer here to TURN ON SPRINKLERS, 
TURN OFF LIGHTS, and OPEN CAGE (HACK it while you're at it). Grab all 
the Bonds and exit the Vault. 
Before you exit, turn on Thermal Vision to see a Laser on the door. Use 
the OCP to disable it and then head for Extraction.

WALKTHROUGH #2: THE WEST WING

Take the doorway to the left and open the door. Shoot out the light to 
darken the room from the Security Camera and to alert the guards in the 
security room nearby. 
When they emerge, quietly knock them both out. Enter their security 
booth and access the Computer in here then exit. Head through the 
hallway and turn off all the lights. You'll see a stairway, so take it 
up.


AREA: BANK - SECOND FLOOR

As you head up, Sam will be advised about more Laser grids. Grim will 
inform you to "stay in the guard's electronic shadow". Ignore this and 
just knock him out. You can grab his body and walk past the lasers with 
no problems (it's easier than tailing him).
Do the same for the other guard on the other laser-filled side. Once 
that's done, head down the dark hallway to a small lounge with a LARGE 
glass office next to it.


AREA: GLASS OFFICE AND LOUNGE - SECOND FLOOR


--OBJECTIVE: GET THREE ACCESS AUTHORIZATIONS
As you enter the lounge, you can hear a Security Camera. Use the OCP on 
the light post in the lounge (not the Camera). Sneak around the lounge 
towards the glass office door. A guard will come in and enter the room, 
so get behind him and knock him out.
Use the KEYPAD (or Hack it) and grab the computer guy inside. Knock him 
out and access the computers. Be sure to check ALL the computers (one 
computer in here disables ALL the Security Cameras).
Next to the door of this office is a Red sort of keypad. Get next to it 
and the ENABLE ACCESS option will appear. Use it to continue the 
objectives.

Exit the glass office and go to the door with security Keypad (the one 
across the glass office). HACK the doorway and enter.
Enter the office and turn off the lights (there's a Camera above the 
door). Enter the next office and head for the Keypad next to the desk 
to ENABLE ACCESS. Be sure to Hack the computer!


AREA: BANK COURTYARD

Exit this office by jumping out the window to a small courtyard with a 
guard. Grab him and talk to him to get a Keypad Code for the exit to 
this courtyard.
Head up the stairs and use the OCP on the Camera on the left side of 
the exit. Use the Keycode BUT DO NOT ENTER YET! Use the OCP on the 
light above. As you enter, you'll see a guard messing with a Keypad. 
Wait for him to finish playing with the Keypad and he'll reveal the 
code while he's talking to himself and then walk away. Once he's gone, 
use the Keypad and enter the room.
Now enter inside and use the Keypad next to the Desk to ENABLE ACCESS. 
Hack the computer in here while you're at it!


AREA: BANK VAULT

Once you get all three access codes, the main vault will open. The main 
vault stairway is directly across from this office your in. Head 
downstairs and turn right. You'll see a bunch of safety deposit boxes. 
One of them has the TELEMETRIC LOCKPICK Key Item you need. 
Open the safety deposit box on the far end and then head downstairs.

**There's also a computer here you can access to complete a missed 
objective from Mission 2.

Take the item you obtained downstairs and insert them into the locks 
next to the vault door. This is how the TELEMETRIC PICK works:
Pick the lock as usual. When the light turns red, STOP AND WAIT! When 
it turns green, pick the next one. Repeat until it opens.
Now place the explosives on the center of the Vault door and walk far 
away until the DETONATE option appears.


AREA: INSIDE THE VAULT

Head inside the vault carefully! There is a Camera on the other end! 
Use the OCP on it and access the Computer to TURN OFF LIGHTS, ACTIVATE 
SPRINKLERS, and OPEN CAGE (be sure to hack it too!).


--OBJECTIVE: EXTRACTION TIME
Before you leave, grab the Bonds! BUT DO NOT EXIT THE VAULT YET! Turn 
on Thermal Vision to spot a laser covering the Vault door. Disable the 
laser and you can continue through WITHOUT triggering the alarm.

Head back to the Extraction point. Remember, you can use the Zipline 
near the Bank doors if you so ever please!

                         ++ AREA: ALLEYWAY ++


As you turn the corner you will see an officer in front you. Ignore him 
and let him continue his patrol.


From here you have to ways to get to the other side:

#1: THE HARD WAY
Just down the alley is a ladder leading up the building. Climb it and 
head up the stairway. Dead end? Nope. Jump on top of the boxes and jump 
to hang on the ledge. Shimmy all the way to the left and around the 
building to a pipe that leads you down to the other side.

Slide down the pipe and emerge onto the street behind the officer. 
There are two officers here and two bright spotlights. How do you 
continue on?
Simply use the OCP on the spotlight next to the van and then head for 
the other building in darkness as the officers go investigate.

#2: THE EASY WAY
Instead of climbing the ladder, look across from you. You'll see a 
soldier standing across a spotlight ready to shoot your ass.

To sneak past this guy, look for a large trashbin across the spotlight. 
Use the OCP on the light and then hop on the trashbin and sneak over it 
while the light is off. Head for the doorway.

#3: THE LETHAL WAY
Follow the tactic above but sneak in between the large truck and the 
building across the spotlight. From here you can do a split-jump and 
kick the guard's smile right of his face.


Choose whatever you want and get to the door on the opposite side.

                     ++ AREA: APARTMENT BUILDING ++


Enter the doorway into an apartment building. Traverse the hallway 
inside until you see a soldier working on the elevator. 


From here you have two options:

#1: THE EASY WAY
Wait for him to put his tools away and then quickly sneak into the 
elevator before he turns around. 
From here, you can either wait for him to finish fixing the elevator OR 
head to the elevator roof and climb the ladder going up

#2: THE HARD WAY
When the soldier puts his tools away, GRAB him from behind and drag him 
into the elevator. You know the rest.


When the elevator stops, DO NOT go out yet! Use the OCP on the 
lightpost and slowly sneak past the room towards the stairs. Exit this 
area up to the roof.

                    ++ AREA: ROOFTOPS W/ HELIPAD ++


There's two ways to get to get to the red neon billboard on the other 
side:

#1 - Exit to the rooftops and turn left. As you walk to the left, you 
will encounter a switch. Flip it to turn off the lights on the Helipad. 
Continue working your way around the Helipad while using the OCP on the 
nearby spotlights.
Make your way to the ladder on the other end and climb up to the 
billboard (use the OCP on the neon billboard first!). Look for the 
zipline and ZIP on down to the next building.

#2 - Across from Exit is a set of large pipes. Hop over them and stay 
in the darkness away from the Helicopter. Use the OCP on the neon 
billboard and then climb the ladder next to the billboard. Look for the 
zipline and ZIP on down to the next building.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                    ++ AREA: PENTHOUSE BUILDING ++


After sliding down the pipe, head for the other end and shimmy on the 
ledge. A suspicious-looking soldier will be patrolling the balcony 
nearby (that's why you should shimmy on the ledge).
Climb up and sneak behind him and GRAB him. INTERROGATE him for some 
revealing info and knock him out. Further down this balcony is an open 
doorway with two soldiers working on an elevator (and arguing).


In this room with the two soldiers are two paths. You can accomplish 
this mission faster using one path than the other but the objectives 
are still the same. 

#1 - LONGER BUT BEST PATH:
As the two soldiers argue, you'll notice a large opaque sheet near the 
entrance. Slowly walk up to it and use the CUT MATERIAL option and head 
through. Inside this room is a CRAWLSPACE, use it!
Emerge on the other side and you'll be next to the elevator. (Above the 
CRAWLSPACE is a pipe you can hang over to stylishly kill the enemy.)

Across from the elevator is an unfinished kitchen. Enter the kitchen 
(use the OCP) and you'll see a doorway. 


#2 - SHORTER BUT MORE DANGEROUS PATH
Wait for the soldier to "fix" the elevator. Lure him away from the 
elevator and then enter the elevator using the ENTER CRAWLSPACE option 
to the elevator roof. From there you will enter the Penthouse using the 
CRAWLSPACE to the bathroom. This route is the shorter way but I don't 
recommend it for many reasons.


--BONUS OBJECTIVE: OBTAIN BLUEPRINTS FOR THE PENTHOUSE
Enter the doorway in the kitchen and you'll see a sleeping guard next 
to a computer. HACK his Computer to finish a bonus objective. Ignore 
him and head outside using the PICK LOCK option.



--SUB-OBJECTIVE: TAP ZHERKEZI'S CAMERA SYSTEM (SIX TOTAL)
Take the Best Path. As you exit, there is a Security camera out here 
that uses Infrared. Use Night Vision to see its Infrared scope path. 
You need to walk underneath the Camera and use the TAP CAMERA option on 
its wiring.

Walk up the stairs (watch that Camera!) and enter the door on the left. 
(The door on the right is off-limits for the moment.)

                   ++ AREA: ZHERKEZI GUESTHOUSE ++


As you enter this room, sneak up behind the soldier sitting in the bed 
listening to that god-awful cover band rawk. Interrogate him and then 
knock him out.


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: FIND OUT WHO IS IN CHARGE OF ZHERKEZI PROTECTION DEAL
Just across the bed is an open window with a soldier on the outer 
balcony. Hop over the window and then sneak up to him and conk him (be 
sure to INTERROGATE him first!). 

In this same balcony is another Camera to tap. Jump over the railing 
and shimmy to the end to avoid being detected then jump over and sneak 
under the Camera and TAP it.

                     ++ AREA: ZHERKEZI PENTHOUSE ++


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS ZHERKEZI'S SERVER
Enter the door next to the Camera into the kitchen. Turn off the lights 
here and head to the living room. Knock out the 1-2 soldiers in the 
living room but be careful! There's 2 more Security Cameras here!
Once you've disposed the soldiers, look for both Cameras in the living 
room and TAP them. 

Now head up the Spiral staircase and into the Master bedroom. Across 
the Master bed is ANOTHER Camera. 
Walk under the Camera (or use the OCP) and TAP it. Behind the Master 
bed is a well-hidden door. Enter that door into an empty hallway to 
another room. Enter the door on this end to access Zherkezi's server 
(and the Keycode for use later in the mission).

Now exit back to the Master bedroom. Across the Master bedroom is a 
long L-Shaped hallway. Head in there and turn off all the lights. 
You'll see a doorway and you can also hear two soldiers conversing on 
the other end of this doorway.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                  ++ AREA: ZHERKEZI'S GREENHOUSE ++


As you wait for the conversation to finish, use the Split-Jump 
maneuver. Wait for the first soldier to walk in the dark and then knock 
him out from above. Jump down and hide the body and then whistle for 
the other soldier into this dark hall. Split-Jump and whack him from 
above.

DO NOT go into the Greenhouse haphazardly! The final Camera is right 
next to the door. TAP it to finish the Sub-objectives.


From here, you have three ways to exit the Penthouse:

#1: THE EASY WAY:
In the room before the Greenhouse, you'll notice some fancy-schmancy 
lamps near a large window. One of the windows is open, so you can jump 
out to the balcony of the guesthouse (watch out for the Camera!)

#2: THE EASIER WAY:
Exit the Penthouse the same way you came in.

#3: THE HARD WAY:
In the Penthouse living room is a bathroom with a CRAWLSPACE. Enter the 
bathroom and use the CRAWLSPACE to the elevator (that the soldier was 
fixing). Exit through the elevator and back to the room with the 
unfinished kitchen. From there, just go back outside.


Now go back to the door that was off-limits (where Camera #1 is) and 
head through.

                          ++ AREA: ROOFTOPS ++


There are four soldiers and three Wall Mines in this area. Follow my 
tactics without having to knock them all out.


--OBJECTIVE: DISABLE THE LIGHTS
As you exit the door, there is a pipe to the immediate left of the 
door. Climb it up and ZIP down to a generator across the way. 
Jump down the generator and use the SWITCH OBJECT option to turn off 
the power on the rooftop. Now you can sneak past this roof unseen!


You now have two options to entering the next building:

#1 - Climb to the small roof and disarm the Wall Mine up here. Jump 
over the open window and sneak past two soldiers. In the bathroom up 
here (near the Wall Mine) is a CRAWLSPACE. 
DISARM the Mine first and then head for the CRAWLSPACE. This leads to 
another bathroom. Just go down the stairs and find the old man and talk 
to him.

++If you use this route, it's more dangerous but you won't have to 
worry about HACKING the door to Dvorak.

#2 - Enter the building using the door on the other end. As you enter, 
traverse to another door. BUT DO NOT OPEN IT YET! Use the Optic Cable 
to see a soldier directly behind it. You know what? BASH the door open 
to knock him out and then hide his body.


--OBJECTIVE: FIND DVORAK
Turn left of the door you just bashed to a Keypad-locked door. Use the 
Keycode you obtained to open the door and enter. 
(If you need the keycode, go back to the hidden computer room inside 
Zherkezi's Master bedroom.)

Walk up to the elderly fellow and speak to him. Keep speaking to him 
until the next objective is made.


--OBJECTIVE: OBTAIN THE PUNCHCARDS
Ask for the elderly fellows help and START SERVER. The old man will 
handle the servers on the right and Sam will handle the ones on the 
left. Each server that lights up, walk up to it and press the SWITCH 
OBJECT button. There three servers to switch on.
Once the old man gives the okay, grab the Punch Cards from the server 
near the wall and head to Extraction.


--OBJECTIVE: EXTRACTION TIME
The Extraction point is at the top of the elevator that the two 
soldiers were working on earlier in the level. 


There are two ways to get there:

#1: Head back through the kitchen (back where Camera #1 is located; 
where you saw the sleeping guard)

#2: Inside Zherkezi's Penthouse. In the living room of the house is a 
door that leads to the bathroom. In that bathroom is a Crawlspace. 
Enter that Crawlspace and emerge on the other side.


Call for Extraction.

                     ++ AREA: DISPLACE ROOFTOPS ++


Enter through the crevice across from Sam to a large rooftop area with 
a fan and two guards. Wait for their conversation to end and let the 
guard start his patrol.

Silently pass by the guard and then climb over the fence on the left 
side. The switch to turn off the large ventilation fan is on this side.
Silently sneak near the technician and use the SWITCH OBJECT option and 
then quickly turn around.

After that's done, climb over the fence again and head for the fan 
railing. Use the PICK LOCK option and then OPEN the gate. 
DO NOT JUMP DOWN OR ELSE! Use the RAPPEL ON WALL option on the object 
near the gate you just opened and make your way down.

                    ++ AREA: DISPLACE VENTILATION ++


Traverse through the ventilation ducts to a TRAP DOOR. DO NOT OPEN THIS 
YET! Use the OPTIC CABLE option and listen to the conversation. 


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE THE ALGORITHM
ADVANCED TACTIC:
As the men are talking, you'll notice a briefcase/Laptop under the 
glass table. Bust out the Binoculars and try to SCAN the briefcase 
WITHOUT opening the TRAP DOOR. 

From there, you can HACK that briefcase and complete the first 
Objective BEFORE Grim even tells you what it is!
When the men leave the room, OPEN the grate and jump in and exit the 
room. Enter the open doorway across from you to a large Computer 
Conference Room. 


--OBJECTIVE: INSERT TRACERS
The computer at the very top of the room is the computer you need to 
hack. Hack it and insert the Tracer. 
DO NOT EXIT THIS ROOM FROM THE BOTTOM! Exit back out and head for the 
Keypad door in the corner (use the OCP to cover up the door!) to enter 
Level 2. Don't go down to Level 1, there's nothing for you to do there!

In this area (Level 2) is a Camera and a guard sitting on a desk at the 
other end. Use the OCP on the LEVEL 2 neon sign and quickly head for 
the other side. The guard will "see" something but you can make it 
safely to his area. Enter the door on the left to a Locker Room.

                     ++ AREA: MEN'S LOCKER ROOM ++


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE ALGORITHM (if you didn't Hack the Laptop)
--SUB-OBJECTIVE: INSERT TRACER
Quietly traverse inside and you'll see a bunch of computers, two 
guards, and treadmills. Look above the Computers and you'll see a 
pipeline that you can shimmy. 
Look for the pipe to climb on the wall and shimmy head over feet to the 
Computer on the other side. Use the Computer at the end and Hack it to 
complete the objective.


From here you have two choices to enter the next area:

#1 - Exit back to the guard's desk and HACK the Retinal Scanner near 
the other door (or GRAB and use the guard if you didn't knock him out). 
Enter the door and use the guard to get past the Lasers to the Turret 
Gun Range.

#2 - Instead of exiting the Locker Room, look for a CRAWLSPACE near the 
lockers in the corner and use it. Emerge to the other side to a lounge 
with two guards discussing Prince Of Persia 2 ("It's gonna be Game of 
the Year!")

                   ++ AREA: TURRET GUN SHOOTING RANGE ++


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: INSERT TRACER
Wait for the conversation to end and then quietly exit to the shooting 
range to the left.


There's two ways to access the last server upstairs:

#1 - Walk up the stairs and Hack the Keypad (while trying to dodge that 
freakin' guard). Enter the room and Hack the computer and then exit 
using the CRAWLSPACE right next to it.

#2 - Head inside the Turret range and enter the open vent on the other 
end (use the OCP to darken the Turret room first!). Walk up the vents 
and find the CRAWLSPACE and enter it to the computer.

                     ++ AREA: CENTRAL SERVER ROOM ++


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE CENTRAL SERVER
Exit through the CRAWLSPACE and head down the vent to an open space 
with a rope. Use the GRAB ROPE option and make your way down.
Access the computer and use it. Once Lambert starts talking, QUICKLY go 
back up the rope! You'll see why in a second.


--OBJECTIVE: HEAD TO THE THIRD FLOOR
Once the lights turn on, you have two options to get to the elevator.

#1: THE 1ST FLOOR WAY
Watch the guard from above and wait until he uses the computer (that 
you just accessed). Climb down the rope and silently exit through the 
door he came from. Use the OCP to exit the next room.

When you exit the room, go to the elevator and go up to the 3RD floor.

#2: THE 2ND FLOOR WAY
Instead of going down the rope, just go back through the vent and back 
to the Turret range. Go past the lounge area to the elevator and go 
back to the 3RD floor.


Once you enter the elevator, take the time to use the OCP on the light 
inside it as a precaution. Once the elevator stops at the third floor, 
turn RIGHT!

                       ++ AREA: THIRD FLOOR ++


--OBJECTIVE: FIND OUT MILAN NEDICH'S IDENTITY
When you enter the Hall to the right, you'll overhear two men talking 
behind the covered windows. If you use the Optic Cable under the door, 
you'll hear Milan's real identity but it won't complete the objective.

To complete this objective, you need to Record the conversation using 
the EEV from behind covered windows. Don't use the OCP on the windows! 
If you do, the guard will get distracted and the Objective is missed!

Enter Binocular Mode and move the reticle until you see the 
RECORDING...option under the reticle. Listen to the entire conversation 
and Redding will call to inform you of Milan's identity.


++MISSED OBJECTIVE: 
If you don't complete the Milan Nedich Objective, you'll have to 
complete it in Mission 6 by scanning the license plates of the cars.


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE CEO'S OFFICE
Traverse the halls and ignore all the other doors here. There are two 
guards that patrol this hallway. One of them knows the Code to the 
Executive Keypad code, so GRAB one of them and INTERROGATE him!

Once that's done, look for the double doorway with the Camera. Use the 
OCP on the light and quickly use the Keycode on the door and enter.

                    ++ AREA: EXECUTIVE OFFICES ++


There are two ways to enter the CEO's office:

#1 - HACK the Keypad

#2 - Enter the second door and grab the "Tuxedo" man inside. 
INTERROGATE him to get the Keycode for the CEO office. Knock him out 
and use the Keycode on the Keypad door and enter. 

There's no one inside the CEO's office so go crazy! Access all the 
Computers and then exit the room.


--OBJECTIVE: EXTRACTION TIME
Exit the room (use the OCP!) to the Exit door in the back of the room. 
Use the Keycode you obtained in the CEO's office and head upstairs.

Welcome to Japan! Land Of The Rising Sun!


                        ++ AREA: OUTSIDE ++


From where Sam starts, head through the trees and look up to see a 
guard on a rocky perch. Sneak underneath him and continue up to the 
house.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                    ++ AREA: INSIDE HOUSE #1 ++


Head inside and through the door until you see your first guard. Stay 
in the shadows until he walks outside. BUT DO NOT FOLLOW HIM! 
Instead, go up to the candle across from you and BLOW CANDLE to darken 
the room. This will startle both guards and will lure them away from 
the two cars outside.


--OBJECTIVE: SCAN LICENSE PLATES
When the two guards go to investigate the room, quickly head outside 
(use the door or jump out the window) and hide behind the car. 
Use the SCAN PLATES option for both of them to finish this objective 
(or use the EEV).


AREA: HOUSE #2
There are three different ways to enter the next house:

#1 - Jump on the porch and then hop over the window. You'll see a 
CRAWLSPACE right there.

#2 - Take the direct route and enter the front door

#3 - Take the underground route. On the left side of the house is an 
underground area that you can enter and then emerge to the other side.


This one is my sneakiest:
After scanning the plates, head for the house across House #1 and jump 
onto the porch. See that open window? Jump over it to an empty room. 
Notice the CRAWLSPACE there? Enter it to the next area.


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: FIND HIDDEN MICROPHONES (SIX TOTAL)
As you emerge out of the CRAWLSPACE, wait for the patrolling guard to 
pass by then grab and knock him out.
 
Hide the body near the CRAWLSPACE. Slowly head down and you'll notice a 
guard scanning for microphones. Jump over the window and grab and knock 
him out. Turn on EMF Vision to spot a MIC (#1) behind a Scroll.

Now leave the area (look for a Red curtain) and continue through the 
rooms to a large balcony. Jump over the nearby window into the room and 
wait for the conversation to end. One soldier will patrol outside and 
the other will scan for Mics then use the toilet.
Turn on EMF Vision to find a MIC (#2) behind a Scroll in this room.

                           ++ AREA: OUTSIDE ++


There are two different ways to leave this room:

#1 - Head through the hallways past the kitchen and open SLIDE OPEN the 
door to an open Courtyard.

#2 - Head into the Toilet that the guard went into (you have to knock 
him out first!) to find two CRAWLSPACE vents (one leading outside and 
the other leading to the kitchen).

Either way you choose is fine. You'll end up in a large open Courtyard 
with a two soldiers and a civilian doing Yoga (or something similar).
Silently make your way to the house across the courtyard (use the OCP 
on the large lightpost near the front door).


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                         ++ AREA: HOUSE #3 ++


In this House, you'll find a large Buddha statue. On the wall behind 
the Buddha statue is a CRAWLSPACE. Ignore this for now and continue the 
next objective:


--OBJECTIVE: ELIMINATE MILAN NEDICH
Head down the hall from the Buddha and you'll overhear Milan on the 
other side. Head for the door BUT DON'T ENTER! There's a CRAWLSPACE 
next to it, so USE IT! Crawl through to eavesdrop on Milan.
To eliminate Milan without bloodshed, wait for him to finish his 
conversation with the guards and then he will retreat to the bathroom 
across from you.
One guard will exit and one will stay. When the guard's back is turned, 
grab and knock him out. As for Milan, see his shadow on the paper-thin 
material? Slowly sneak up behind the paper material and GRAB him. 
INTERROGATE him and then knock him out (hide his body!).

As you exit this room, turn on Thermal Vision to see a guard behind the 
paper-thin material door and another guard wandering around.
Knock them both out. 


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: FIND HIDDEN MICROPHONES
Before leaving the Buddha room, search the rooms for a MIC (#3; it's on 
the wall next to the telephone).
Now enter the CRAWLSPACE behind the Buddha to the next area.

            ++ AREA: MINI-GREENHOUSE & LIVING ROOM AREA ++


Exit the CRAWLSPACE. You'll see a large glass-enclosed greenhouse and a 
soldier. Next to the glass greenhouse is a switch, a TURN VALVE option, 
and a pipe to climb. Use the options if you want and climb the pipe up 
to a secret pathway to the other side. Use the pathway and emerge into 
a living room area.
There are two guards and one civilian in the living room area.

Turn off the lights first and then slowly enter the first open doorway. 
Turn on EMF to see another hidden MIC (#4).

In the living room with the noisy TV, is another Scroll with a hidden 
MIC (#5). Exit the area.

                          ++ AREA: HOUSE #4 ++


Leave the area to the house next door with the stairway. Instead of 
heading upstairs, enter the door downstairs to a sort of Art studio. 
Turn on Thermal Vision to find another MIC (#6) behind a Scroll. Go 
upstairs and eliminate the guard. 

Head for the doorway and go inside. Eliminate the guard in here and 
look for the room with the toilet supplies, a Med-Kit, and a 
CRAWLSPACE.

Heal yourself up and enter the CRAWLSPACE to the other side.

                           ++ AREA: TEAHOUSE ++


--OBJECTIVE: ABDUCT ZHERKEZI/ELIMINATE SHETLAND
If you followed this walkthrough, then you didn't fire a single bullet 
from the SC-20K. But equip it after you exit the CRAWLSPACE and shoot a 
Sticky Shocker at the guard down below.

Jump down and run for the Teahouse entrance. Go inside and chase after 
Douglas. As you exit the building, slowly approach the area (with the 
two cars) because there are guards here.

You'll miss the last objective but you're Mission is already complete.


--OBJECTIVE: EXTRACTION TIME
Go back to the area where you started the Mission.

                     ++ AREA: WAREHOUSE ENTRANCE ++


Climb down the rope to the warehouse. From here there are three ways to 
enter the building on the other side:

#1 - THE HARD WAY
Eliminate the enemies here and enter the door at the other end. Use the 
OCP on the Camera and enter the other door past a Computer room with a 
guard.

#2 - THE EASY WAY
Underneath the truck in the warehouse is a hidden pathway. Enter that 
pathway and traverse from down there. Look for a ladder that leads up 
to the Computer Room with the guard.

#3 - THE EASIER WAY
Further down from the truck is a stack of large boxes (and a curtain to 
CUT MATERIAL). Jump on the boxes and climb onto the steel bars. Slowly 
walk the bars to the roof of the building and then access the 
CRAWLSPACE in the corner. This will take you to the soldier's quarters 
past the office.

++WARNING: Using the third path is faster but you will miss an 
Objective if you take it.


Choose either path and continue on.

                          ++ AREA: OFFICES ++


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: SCAN RECEIVING AND SHIPPING LOGS (THREE TOTAL)
Turn off the lights in the office to get the guard's attention. Knock 
him out. See that office with the blinds and closed door? 
Go inside that room and grab the guard using the Computer and knock him 
out. Turn off the lights and use his Computer.

Once that's done, exit through the well-lit hallway to the other side 
(turn off the lights!) to the soldier's quarters.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                    ++ AREA: SOLDIER'S QUARTERS ++


Quietly sneak past the two sleeping guards to the double doors and 
exit.
To the right of the Exit is a Camera and to the left is a light switch. 
Use the switch to get the guard's attention. Knock him out. Before 
heading down to the Missile Loading Bay, go to the door near the stairs 
and use the PICK LOCK option and enter.


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE SHIPPING LOG
Enter this room to see a soldier in the other end listening to music. 
Leave him alone and SCAN the Hard Drive (NOT the Computer Screen) of 
the Computer he's sitting next to. After that's done exit back out.


From here there are two ways to enter the Missile Loading Bay:

#1 - There is a TRAP DOOR that you can open in the corner. Enter 
through and traverse your way to the Missile Loading Bay.

#2 - Head downstairs. Simple, huh?

                      ++ AREA: MISSILE LOADING BAY ++


When you enter the Missile Loading Bay, look for the SWITCH on the 
other end to turn off the lights (knock out the two guards while you're 
at it). Next to the large truck is an electronic device that you can 
use to BYPASS CIRCUIT. Use it to get the large Missile above the truck 
moving.

To enter the next area, you need to shimmy on the pipeline that the 
Missile is riding on. Jump to the roof of the truck to access the pipe 
and shimmy over the closed door.


--OBJECTIVE: DISCOVER IF THE KOREANS LAUNCHED INTENTIONALLY
As you jump down the vent, you'll see a large two-door elevator and an 
open vent in front of Sam. 


From here you have two options:

#1 - Go and use the elevator to the Upper Command Center (read the 
walkthrough below for details)

#2 - Use the vent in front of you. Underneath the vent are two 
electrical boxes that you can use to BYAPSS CIRCUIT. What this does is 
open the secret doors to the East and West Command Centers (where you 
can neutralize the guards for safety reasons).


Ignore path #2 (believe me, it's useless and is too much hassle to deal 
with) and head towards the elevator BUT DO NOT USE THE ELEVATOR!


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                    ++ AREA: UPPER COMMAND CENTER ++


There are two ways to head to the Upper Command Center:

#1 - HACK the elevator Keypad and then go in the elevator and go UP. As 
soon as the elevator stops, you'll have to eliminate a guard and HACK a 
Retinal Scanner all while dodging a Security Camera. Enter to the 
Command Center and listen to the conversation.

OR...you can try the alternate route!

#2 - Enter the West Command Center to left of the elevator (there's a 
Med-Kit in there). Eliminate the guard here and hide his body.
In the corner of the room is an open vent on the ceiling. Jump up there 
and crawl to the top of the elevator. Access the device and use the 
BYPASS CIRCUIT option to get the elevator moving up.

**You can only BYPASS CIRCUIT for the elevator once on each floor. 
After that, you have to manually ride the elevator inside.

When the elevator stops, traverse your through the CRAWLSPACE and 
through the vents to the Main Command Center. 
Make your way to the other side and listen to the conversation. 
Listening to the conversation will complete the objective.


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE SHIPPING LOGS
The Computer near the exit has the third set of Shipping Logs. Access 
it and then exit the room (go back the same way you came) back to the 
elevator. Use the BYPASS CIRCUIT option to go back down to the West 
Command Center.

                    ++ AREA: WEST COMMAND CENTER ++


--BONUS OBJECTIVE: DISABLE THE WARHEAD
Exit the West Command Center (watch out for the Camera above the door). 
As you exit you'll see a soldier prepping an open warhead. Conk him and 
then HACK the warhead to complete a bonus objective. Now move on 
outside.


--OBJECTIVE: TAP THE LAUNCH BIOS
Eliminate the soldiers here and continue through the area to the other 
end. You'll end up outside with a sort of Missile Launcher in the 
center.

Bust out the SC-20K and shoot the soldier here with an Airfoil Round. 
Hide his body and make your way down the bright stairway.

To open the launcher, go downstairs from the OTHER side and enter the 
door using the STEALTH option. Quietly sneak up behind the soldier 
working the board and GRAB him. Knock him out in the shadows. Do the 
same for the other soldier if you have to.
Now go to the circuit board and use the BYPASS CIRCUIT option.


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE SHIPPING LOGS
The last Computer with the last of the Shipping Logs is ALSO in this 
room. It's the Computer near the Med-Kit (and NO you CAN'T SCAN it!).

Head back up to the Missile Launcher and access it to finish the 
Objective.

                   ++ AREA: EAST COMMAND CENTER ++


--OBJECTIVE: HEAD TO THE EAST COMMAND CENTER
Go to the East Command Center (it's to the right of the elevator) and 
enter the room. Exit the room (watch out for the Camera above the door) 
out. You'll see a warhead in here that you can access. DO NOT ACCESS 
THE WARHEAD OR ELSE! 
Eliminate the soldiers here and continue through to the other side. Use 
the BYPASS CIRCUIT on the device near the large door to open it.


--OBJECTIVE: STOP THE MISSILE LAUNCH
The Abort codes for the Missile are in the Command Center under the 
Missile Launcher. Go down there and SLOWLY creep up and access the 
Computer from the right side!


--OBJECTIVES: ABORT THE MISSILE
Go back to the East Command Center and access the Computer in here to 
Abort the Missile.

Now go to Extraction!

Welcome to War-torn South Korea!



                   ++ AREA: DESTROYED APARTMENT ++


--OBJECTIVE: INTERROGATE SPECIAL FORCES
Exit out of your burning apartment and use the RAPPEL ON WALL option 
outside. Continue down to a gate with a Wall Mine.
DISABLE the Wall Mine and jump over the gate to the other side.

You will see two soldiers conversing behind a camouflage net. Wait for 
one of them to "TAKE A LEAK!" and then GRAB him. INTERROGATE him to 
finish the first objective.


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: DISABLE PROPAGANDA SPEAKERS (1 OF 3)
In the area where you grabbed to Special Forces soldier is a propaganda 
speaker (#1) on the walls. Look for the speaker and walk underneath it 
to disable it.

Now head for the red double-doors and climb the pipe on the left side 
of it. Make your way to the other side.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                 ++ AREA: THE MOBILE COMMAND CENTER ++


--OBJECTIVE: TAP A MOBILE COMMAND CENTER
When you climb down the ladder, it looks tempting to use the OCP on the 
truck's headlights or to shoot them out. Don't do EITHER! Instead, look 
to the red double-doors and you'll see a scaffolding. Climb that 
scaffolding up and eliminate the hidden soldier up here. 


From here you have two options to get to the Mobile Command Center:

#1 - Use the zipline up here to land on the roof of the MCC.

#2 - Climb over the ledge and down the pipe.

Use either way and access that MCC. Neutralize the two soldiers down 
here while you're at it.


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: DISABLE PROPAGANDA SPEAKERS
To the left of the truck is another propaganda speaker (#2) to disable. 
See that front door next to the truck? Instead of going to the door 
across from the MCC; look for a ladder near the burning fire in the 
corner. 

Climb that ladder up to the top to find the last propaganda speaker 
(#3) and a CRAWLSPACE.


From here you have two options to the next area:

#1: THE EASY WAY
Take the CRAWLSPACE into the building (read the rest of the description 
below).

#2: THE HARD WAY
Head back down to the door near the MCC and open it. Inside will be a 
raging fire that you need to cross using the pipe on the ceiling. 
From here, work your way into the room while trying to avoid 3 soldiers 
as you try to retrieve the NDT Drives in the room downstairs.

                       ++ AREA: SERVER ROOM ++


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE NDT DRIVES
Enter through the CRAWLSPACE and make your way to the ladder leading 
down to a metal grate. OPEN the grate and head down to a Server room. 
Go to the Computer and retrieve the NDT Drives.

Now go back up the ladder and wait for the door to get blown off. After 
it's blown, quietly sneak your way out and up the stairs to the 
hallway. Hide in the corner and let the soldier pass you by.

As you head for the elevator near the burning fire, two soldiers will 
emerge out. Hide in the bathroom and turn off the lights. They will 
each investigate the light, so knock them out one by one. Once that's 
done, enter the elevator and go UP.


MISSION 8 PART 1 COMPLETED!

For this half of the Mission, you'll be dodging UAV's (or mini-copters) 
so be on your guard! You can disable them temporarily with the OCP 
(which is a waste of time!) or take them out using the Sniper 
Attachment.

On the roof is one soldier and a UAV. Jump over the railing and hide 
underneath it. You'll be safe there.


--OBJECTIVE: DISABLE RADARS (FIVE TOTAL)
Under the railing, bring up Binocular view and SCAN the Computer (#1) 
across the way.

Next to this Computer is a zipline. Use it to head to the next 
building. Climb over the fence to the next area.

                         ++ AREA: BUILDING #2 ++


As you emerge, you'll see a Wall Mine. Shoot that thing and then shoot 
the lightpost above to darken the entire area. Across from here is a 
pipe that you can shimmy over to the next building. Land on the roof 
and jump to the other roof. From here, you can see three soldiers (two 
on the ground and one on the balcony). The soldier on the balcony has a 
Computer to SCAN.
SCAN his Computer (#2) from the roof you are on and patiently wait. 
(Don't worry about the UAV; it won't search where you are.)

Wait for the guard to emerge out from the door. Use the OCP on the 
light next to the door and head for the door. Use the BREAK LOCK option 
and quickly head inside before the light turns back on. Head for the 
door on the other end.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     ++ AREA: DESTROYED BATHROOMS ++


You'll emerge to an area with half the building destroyed. Climb your 
way down three floors. (Don't worry about the UAV, it won't see you.)

Before jumping the gap towards the Computer (#3), SCAN it first! Now 
jump that gap and make your way around the ledge. A soldier will walk 
out and browse around. Knock him out and drag his body into the room he 
came from and turn off the lights.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                   ++ AREA: DESTROYED APARTMENT ++


Make your way around the hall to an area with a massively destroyed 
four floors. Carefully make your way down to the first floor where two 
soldiers are toying with a massive Warhead. 

Once they run away, jump down to their area.


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE UAV DATA
One soldier will go downstairs and one will go into the kitchen and use 
a Computer. SCAN the Computer (you can still SCAN it even though the 
soldier is blocking the way).


There are two ways to exit the building:

#1: THE EASY WAY
There is a CRAWLSPACE just behind the bar. Use it to exit the building.

As you exit the CRAWLSPACE, a small firefight will occur. DO NOT JUMP 
DOWN TO ENGAGE COMBAT! Instead look up and you'll see a pipe that you 
can shimmy to the other side. USE IT! Jump down and head for the fence 
and climb over it.

#2: THE HARD WAY
Exit the back door in the kitchen. Try to neutralize the soldier before 
he shoots you. Then climb over the fence across the building.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                      ++ AREA: THE FIRST TANK ++


As you climb over the fence, a firefight occurs on the other end with 
the two factions. First, shoot the neon sign above the Wall Mine and 
then go up and disable the Wall Mine.

Bust out the SC-20K and equip Airfoil Rounds. Shoot the two soldiers 
with Airfoils to make this part a LITTLE easier. 


From here you have two options:

#1 - Try and work your way around the tank through the flipped over 
cars and barricades. 
(Also known as the "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?" path)

#2 - Once the gunfire stops, slowly head to the right and to the back 
of the truck. You'll see a blue neon sign with a ladder on the other 
end. Use the ladder and head up to the ledge above. Tread SLOWLY! 
The tank on the other end seems to be a trigger happy thing so be 
careful. See that zipline? DON'T TAKE IT YET! Shoot the neon sign 
across from the zipline to darken the area. NOW take the zipline.

Time your movements as the tank's machine gun moves the other way and 
jump down. Quickly make your way behind the tank to the ladder at the 
corner and climb up.


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE UAV DATA
When you emerge, you'll see another Computer to retrieve UAV info (#4). 
DO NOT GET UP CLOSE TO IT! You will be seen by the soldier's below! 

SCAN it and hide in the dark corner and enter the door once you've 
scanned. Enter through the apartment and you'll see a window.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                  ++ AREA: MOBILE COMMAND CENTER #2 ++


DO NOT JUMP OVER THE WINDOW YET! Bust out the Pistol and shoot the blue 
neon sign first. NOW jump over the window. Watch for the roaming UAV 
and climb down the building.
See that other blue neon sign? Shoot it to darken the entire area.


--OBJECTIVE: TAP A MOBILE COMMAND CENTER
There are three soldiers patrolling in the dark, so eliminate them AND 
hide their bodies in the corner (so that the UAV doesn't find them).
Enter the MCC and TAP it. 

Use the Med-Kit if you have to and continue on to the next area.

                   ++ AREA: THE DESTROYED AIRCRAFT ++


--BONUS OBJECTIVE: MOVE PILOTS TO SAFETY
See that flickering lightpost? Wait for it to turn off and then quickly 
run over to the aircraft. Once Lambert starts talking, look to the side 
to see the pilots. 
To complete this objective, carry each pilot past the flickering 
lightpost to the dark alley. Watch out for the tank gun as you do this!


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE UAV DATA
Next to where the pilots were found is a row of trashcans and a pipe on 
the wall. Above the pilots is a spotlight. Use the OCP on the spotlight 
and quickly head over to the pipe and climb it.

As you emerge, you'll find your last Computer to retrieve UAV info 
(#5). From here you can walk on the ledge and use the zipline to the 
scaffolding on the other side.


--OBJECTIVE: DESIGNATE TARGET
Once you zip to the scaffolding, climb up to the top and use the 
DESIGNATE TARGET option. Try not to move around or the soldiers on the 
ground will see you.

Once the aircraft is fully destroyed, the Mission is completed.

This Mission is EVIL! The first half of the Mission is pure stealth and 
the last half is pure luck. But I've found the way! HAH! I will reveal 
the way to get 100%! 
Consider yourself lucky that I'm revealing the secrets to getting past 
the second half of the Mission WITHOUT losing a single ounce of health!

For this Mission, I urge you to use Stealth Mode. In this walkthrough, 
I will NOT mention using the SC-20K until the last part of the Mission, 
so PLEASE do not use the SC-20K unless I say to do it. 
Trust me, it will cause less frustration if you follow my tactics.


BIG NOTE: If a civilian sees you (they'll scream "Jee-jus! Hoo ah yoo!" 
and run to a corner), it ruins your 100% run. Try NOT to encounter the 
civilians at any time during the Mission.

                       ++ AREA: OUTSIDE BATHHOUSE ++


Head down the corner and you'll see a large alley with three guards and 
two VERY bright streetlights.
From the dark corner, bust out the Pistol and shoot the high 
streetlight across from Sam. This will darken the entire half of the 
alley (and startle the nearby technician).


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: TAP THE PHONE LINES (1 OF 3)
Further down the alley is an electrical box glowing red. Access it and 
the TAP LINE option will appear. TAP it.


From here, you need to access the open TRAP DOOR at the end of the 
other brightly lit alley. You have two options:

#1 - Eliminate all three guards wandering in the darkened half of the 
alley and then access the Trapdoor

#2 - Right next to the electrical box (where you tapped the line) is a 
pipe to climb. Climb it up and zip down to a high ledge.
Shimmy to the right and then pull yourself up. Go forward and grab the 
next ledge and shimmy ALL the way to the right. At the end, jump down 
and bust out the Pistol. 
Shoot the last streetlight to darken the ENTIRE alley. Now climb down 
the pipe nearby and head for the TRAP DOOR.


Make your way down the underground path and head for the ladder at the 
other side.

                    ++ AREA: BATHHOUSE BASEMENT ++


Climb the ladder at the end and OPEN TRAP DOOR. Climb out and you'll 
emerge into a darkened basement with one guard near the door.
Simply creep up to him when he turns around and then neutralize him. 
Make your way out of the room to the next area.

                      ++ AREA: LAUNDRY ROOM ++


Emerge in the corner and you'll see white laundry hanging, a large fan, 
and a guard sitting on a chair in a brightly lit room.
Hide in the dark corner and use the OCP on the fan to get his 
attention. If it doesn't work, keep trying until he stands up to 
investigate. Conk him from behind and then head for the SWITCH near the 
door and turn off the lights. Now head up the stairs to the Bathhouse.

                   ++ AREA: BATHHOUSE LOUNGE ROOM ++


--OBJECTIVE: DISCOVER SHELAND'S CONTACT
When you open the door, you'll see a lounge with two guards and a 
civilian. To the left of the door is a SWITCH. Flick it to turn off the 
light and startle the guard nearby. 
As he investigates, head for the hallway on the left (with the 
curtains) and use the DETACH option on the curtains to cover up the 
hall.


From here you have two options to continue to the next room:

#1 - Head down the hall and you'll see three guards in a small lobby. 
One goes outside, one goes upstairs, and one stays nearby.
You'll have to eliminate all three guards the hard way and then access 
the Computer nearby to disable the Camera upstairs.

#2 - Instead of going down that hall, enter the door near the curtains 
you just detached into a sort of supply room (with a Med-Kit). Turn off 
the lights, and turn on Night Vision and look on the wall nearby for a 
CRAWLSPACE. Enter that CRAWLSPACE to emerge into a small, dark room of 
the same lobby. Use Thermal Vision behind the curtains and use the EEV 
to SCAN the nearby Computer. HACK it to disable the Camera on the 
second floor. Next to the curtains on the right is a SWITCH that you 
can flick to turn off the lights outside. 
A guard will come from outside and investigate. Let him turn on the 
switch and then GRAB him when he turns around. Do it one more time for 
the nearby guard.

                 ++ AREA: BATHHOUSE - SECOND FLOOR ++


Once you've eliminated the two guards downstairs, you have two MORE 
options when heading upstairs:

#1 - Since you disabled the Camera upstairs, make your up the nearby 
stairs. Keep an eye on the guard up here! When he turns around, GRAB 
and knock him out. Access the Keypad at the end of the hall.

#2 - This path is longer and wields more risk. Near the stairs are 
double glass doors that lead outside. Open the door and go outside. 
You'll see a truck on the left and a phone booth. To the left of the 
phone booth is a pipe to climb. Climb it up and onto the ledge. Use the 
Zipline nearby and zip to the open window on the other side.
DO NOT CLIMB INTO THE ROOM YET! A civilian inside the room will browse 
out the window for a few seconds and then go to sleep. Once he's 
asleep, climb inside and sneak by him to the door. Use the OPTIC CABLE 
to watch the guard in the hall. Once the coast is clear, open the door 
and head for the light switch near the Keypad door (make sure you 
closed the civilian's door!) and flick it off.
When the guard comes back, he'll investigate the light being "off". 
Smack him when he gets close.


HACK the Keypad to enter the office (be sure to turn off the lights). 
Either use the Computer or raid the filing cabinet to complete the 
Objective. WHEW-WEE!


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: FINDOUT WHO GAVE I-SDF THEIR ORDERS
Before you exit, look on the wall to the upper left to spot a 
CRAWLSPACE. Enter it and emerge on the other side with two I-SDF 
soldiers. Wait patiently for the soldier standing to sit down to use 
his laptop. Once he's sitting, approach and GRAB him. 

INTERROGATE him near the CRAWLSPACE to finish the Objective. Knock him 
out and ignore the other soldier. 
Go back to the CRAWLSPACE and exit back downstairs to the lounge area.

               ++ AREA: BATHHOUSE LOUNGE ROOM (AGAIN) ++

Head back to the lounge area downstairs. Use whichever path you want to 
get there. Across the lounge is an open doorway. Sneak past the guard 
and try to stay silent as the civilian tries to fix the roof (or 
whatever it is he's doing).

Head inside to a Men's Locker room with a soldier relaxing in front of 
you. Bust out the Pistol and use the OCP on the light to darken the 
entire room. When the soldier investigates, head out the Locker room to 
the opposite doorway past the toilets (or neutralize him if you want).


From here, you'll be in a bright hallway. To the left of the hall 
you'll see that it's blocked by a yellow tape with a spotlight shining 
on it and the right leads to a steam bath area. I will give separate 
walkthroughs if you decide to take one path or the other.

WALKTHROUGH #1 - THE YELLOW TAPE PATH (LEFT)
Turn left to see yellow tape blocking the way. It's really not blocking 
your way! Go through and you'll break the tape and the CUT MATERIAL 
option will appear. Cut through and you'll see the next area.


AREA: SWIMMING POOL


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: TAP THE PHONE LINES (2 OF 3)
In this area, you'll see a swimming pool and two guards. Across the 
pool on the other side is an electrical box to TAP LINE. 

You have two options to get to that electrical box:

#1 - To the right of the entrance is a long scaffolding. Climb it up 
and walk your way to the electrical box.

#2 - Jump into the empty pool and use the PIERCE option on the 
generator to turn off all the lights in the room. From there, go 
further down the pool to a mini-bridge and climb the ladder and access 
the electrical box.

Once the line is tapped, enter the doorway near the electric box to the 
next area. Head for the door at the other end.

WALKTHROUGH #2 - THE RIGHT PATH

**If you chose to ignore taking the yellow tape path, this path will 
take MUCH longer to accomplish especially if you are going for 100% 
(because you need to find your way to the swimming pool area to find 
the phone box to TAP it).

Head right and into a steam bath area. On the left you'll see two large 
baths (divided by a wooden barrier). Silently jump into the first bath 
and hop over the barrier to the second bath. 


From here you have two options:

#1 - In the second bath is a TRAPDOOR. Use the TRAPDOOR and jump down. 
Traverse through the pipes to another TRAPDOOR on the other end. Climb 
the ladder but DO NOT OPEN THE TRAPDOOR YET! Use the OPTIC CABLE to see 
a civilian turning on the steam. Once the steam is on, open the 
TRAPDOOR and emerge out. 
From here, you have to turn on THERMAL VISION and make your way to the 
open doorway opposite the TRAPDOOR you exited.

#2 - Head out of the room and you'll pass a Massage Parlor with one 
civilian and a CANDLE. Try to neutralize the civilian and hide his 
body. Continue out to the next steam bath area. Exit the door on the 
opposite side to the next area.

                        ++ AREA: STEAM BATH ++


In the next room are two guards and a civilian who turns on the steam, 
making it hard to see. You need to head for the door DIRECTLY across 
from the door you came from.
Turn on THERMAL VISION and silently hop from steam bath to steam bath 
(the guards can't see through the steam) to the next door.

Enter the door and down the hall to ANOTHER steam bath area. Only this 
time, it's only ONE guard and a turret on the other side. Enter the 
door and head left. On the wall to the left is a large VALVE. Use the 
TURN VALVE option to steam up the entire room.
With the room steamed up, you can walk by the guard and the turret with 
no problems. Head for the doorway on the other end.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                      ++ AREA: PRIVATE BATH AREA ++


Enter through but stay in the corner. You'll see a reception desk 
across from you with a stereo and a CANDLE. WAIT PATIENTLY! An I-SDF 
soldier will patrol here and then turn around. When the soldier turns 
around, quickly creep up to him and conk him.


--SUB-OBJECTIVE: TAP THE PHONE LINES (3 OF 3)
Near the reception desk is the last electrical box to tap. TAP it to 
finish this Objective. Now use the BLOW CANDLE option on the CANDLE to 
darken the room.
From here, continue on through the hall.

As you turn the corner, you'll see a hall to the left with a CANDLE and 
a bathroom to the right. This is what you do:

In the next room are three soldiers (2 regular and one I-SDF). You need 
to eliminate TWO, count it TWO of these soldiers. Go to the bathroom 
and out the other side. There's a CANDLE here. Use the BLOW CANDLE 
option and turn the corner to see a soldier standing at the other end.
Whistle his dumbass over and hide in the corner. When he investigates 
the blown out CANDLE, snuff him from behind and leave him there.

Go back to the other hall before the bathroom with the other CANDLE. If 
the coast is clear, use the BLOW CANDLE option and snuff it out.
From here, wait patiently! An I-SDF soldier will pass by and 
investigate the CANDLE. GRAB him and knock him. Hide his body in the 
bathroom.

Across from where you knocked out the I-SDF soldier is a CRAWLSPACE on 
the lower wall. Do you see it? It's next to ANOTHER candle. There is 
ONE more soldier in this room (technically a technician). 

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT KNOCK OUT THE TECHNICIAN! THE TECHNICIAN WILL 
SAVE YOU THE FRUSTRATION LATER IN THE LAST HALF OF THE MISSION!

Use the BLOW CANDLE option on the CANDLE near the CRAWLSPACE and enter 
through that CRAWLSPACE into a Private Bath.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                       ++ AREA: PRIVATE BATH A ++


Emerge out of the CRAWLSPACE and into the water. Carefully traverse the 
water to the other side. If that technician is patrolling in here, LET 
HIM FINISH AND DO NOT TOUCH HIM! When he exits the room, get out of the 
water and cross the mini-bridge into the CRAWLSPACE behind the large 
glass.


--OBJECTIVE: EAVESDROP ON DOUGLAS
Go through the vent and listen to the whole conversation (HACK the 
laptop in the room while you're at it).

Once the conversation finishes, head back out of the CRAWLSPACE and 
into a raging firefight outside Private Bath A.


--OBJECTIVE: ELIMINATE SHETLAND
If you knocked out the technician before heading into the CRAWLSPACE to 
eavesdrop on Douglas, you are VERY SCREWED! 
This means you have to try and incapacitate two I-SDF soldiers in the 
hall (with HEAT VISION) and they will 95% of the time ALWAYS see you 
and fire at you. If you try to escape through the CRAWLSPACE, you will 
get shot even if you DID NOT go out of the CRAWLSPACE yet! 

BUT...if the technician was left unharmed, he will go out into the 
firefight and eliminate ONE of the I-SDF soldiers for you using a Frag 
Grenade and end up also killing himself in the process. This leaves 
only ONE I-SDF soldier in the room fending for himself. 
BUT DON'T HEAD FOR THE CRAWLSPACE SO QUICKLY! Once you hear the Frag 
Grenade explosion in the hallway, you're clear to enter through.

From here, you can exit through the CRAWLSPACE safely and head through 
the halls. Go past the bathroom (DO NOT GO BACK TO THE STEAM BATHS) and 
around the corner. You'll need to creep silently past the firefight and 
into the next room (with a Med-KIT).

             ++ AREA: STEAM BATH NEAR PRIVATE ROOM B ++


In Private Room B (where Douglas was) is a Camera and some extra Ammo. 
If you followed this walkthrough, then you didn't use the SC-20K yet 
and won't need the Ammo.

Slowly go the corner and DISARM the Wall Mine. In the next room are 
three Displace soldiers with Heat Vision hiding behind pillars. No 
matter what you do, you CANNOT sneak past them so don't even try!

From outside the door, SNIPE the lights in the room (there's two 
lights) to darken the place. 


From here you have two tactics to use to pass through this room:

#1 - THE SMOKE BOMB TACTIC:
SLOWLY sneak to the tile wall nearby to stay safe. From there, you can 
see all three soldiers (one on the left, one in the center, and one on 
the right).
Equip a Smoke Grenade and throw one in between the left and center 
soldier and one more next to the right soldier. When done correctly, 
you can sneak past them as the smoke disturbs their Heat Vision. Gotta 
be quick about it though! The smoke don't last too long, you know.

#2 - THE STICKY SHOCKER TACTIC:
SLOWLY sneak to the tile wall nearby to stay safe. From there, you can 
see all three soldiers (one on the left, one in the center, and one on 
the right). 
Bust out the SC-20K and use a Sticky Shocker (you should have six of 
them) on the soldier hiding on the right side. Slowly sneak further 
right and hide behind one of the shower stalls. From here, you should 
have a clean shot so shoot a Sticky Shocker to the soldier in the 
center.
Now for the last soldier! From where you are, sneak towards the spa. 
Carefully position yourself so that Sam can shoot a Sticky Shocker 
without getting seen. 


Wasn't that easy! Now exit the room.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     ++ AREA: FURNACE ROOM ++


DISARM the Wall Mine and continue outside to a locked fence that you 
need to BREAK open. DO NOT OPEN THE FENCE YET! Bust out the Pistol and 
shoot the light above you to darken this area. NOW break open the gate.


--OBJECTIVE: DISARM SHETLAND'S BOMBS (3 TOTAL; 1:30 TIMER EACH)
The first bomb is across from Sam. Look for the pipes next to the 
stairs and squeeze your way through to find bomb #1 and disarm it.
Once that's disarmed, squeeze back through and bust out the SC-20K. 
Switch crosshairs and shoot a Sticky Shocker onto the first Heat Vision 
soldier as he walks up the stairs (be quick and accurate). If the 
soldier sees you, then you moved into too close.

Grab and hide his body near the pipes close to bomb #1 (BE QUICK!). Now 
go up the stairs and jump over the large electric box up on top. Fall 
over the other side to find bomb #2 in the bottom. DISARM it.

As you disarm bomb #2, Douglas chimes in and runs away. Two more HEAT 
VISION soldiers show up and climb the stairs. Here's what you do:

After disarming bomb #2, climb the nearby pipe and head up. Slowly move 
the Camera so that you can see the soldiers go up the catwalk. QUICKLY 
bust out the SC-20K and shoot a Sticky Shocker on the second soldier. 
The third one will keep walking around the corner. When you see him on 
the other side, ZAP HIM!
Bomb #3 is on the other side of the room next to a pile of sandbags 
(you can't miss it). Before you disarm it, shoot the last light in the 
room to darken the entire half of the room (trust me, it worth the few 
seconds).

DISARM bomb #3. As soon as Sam finishes, QUICKLY run to the door that 
Douglas used to escape and QUICKLY choose the BASH DOOR option. If done 
correctly, you will knock out the last Heat Vision soldier of the game.


--OBJECTIVE: ELIMINATE SHETLAND
Go through the halls and climb up the ladder. Open the door to 
encounter Douglas. 


When the talking ends, you have two options:

#1 - THE EASY WAY
When Douglas lowers his gun, aim for his head and shoot.

#2 - THE HARD WAY
When Douglas lowers his gun, lower yours (press the X Button).

In this Mission, if Sam is captured, he is interrogated and has to 
escape manually. If this happens, you screw your chances of getting 
100%. Try to stay safe as much as possible.

**If you are captured, let the soldier slap Sam around until he is 
"dismissed". Choose the PICK CUFFS option and pick the lock using the 
Left Analog Stick. When Sam frees himself, GRAB the man and knock him 
out. For the other soldier outside, BASH the door. Grab your equipment 
on the opposite shelf and continue through.

This is it! The final Mission of the game!


From infiltration, make your way to the large door. Use the SWITCH 
OBJECT option to open the door. Enter through to a large corridor. In 
here you'll see two soldiers and an Infrared Camera.


Near the door is an electric box you can use to turn off the lights in 
the corridor. Knock out both soldiers (it's worth doing so).
Under the Infrared Camera are two doors: an open and a closed door. 
The closed door has a pathway to the bathroom of the first floor of the 
I-SDF building.


There are two separate ways to get to the fourth floor with the 
detained Americans:


#1 - THE FOURTH FLOOR WAY

Further down the corridor is an open vent on the right. Go through and 
emerge to a room with a pipe to climb. Climb it to the top (to the 
fourth floor) and you'll end up in what looks like a dead end. 
Hear that crooning? It's coming from the other side. Jump up towards 
the wall and Sam will hang on. 

Climb up to see two soldiers (one standing idly and one mopping the 
floor) in a brightly lit hall. Eliminate them any way you want (just 
make sure each one doesn't see you) and hide their bodies outside the 
long hall (in the dark of course!)

Exit this hall and turn the corner. You'll see a CRAWLSPACE on wall 
leading into the room. Use it to enter a room with 2 blindfolded 
Americans.


#2 - THE FIRST FLOOR WAY

Take the path to the bathroom of the first floor. Enter the CRAWLSPACE 
and wait for the soldier to exit. When he leaves, exit the CRAWLSPACE 
and slowly work your way to the lobby.

In the lobby, you'll see a soldier sitting in front of a computer 
across the War Room entrance. Next to his desk is a large RED statue 
contraption. Do you see it? Creep up to the red statue contraption and 
use the OCP on the lights above the War Room entrance to darken the 
area. From there, jump onto the red contraption and climb up. Keep 
jumping and climbing up this contraption until you reach the very top. 

From there, Sam can creep from the top ledges to the CRAWLSPACE on the 
other side of the fourth floor. Enter the CRAWLSPACE and you'll emerge 
in the room above where the detained Americans are being held.

                +++   AREA: I-SDF FOURTH FLOOR   +++


--OBJECTIVE: CONTACT THE DETAINED AMERICANS
There are a lot of dark shadows and a Camera (non-Infrared) in this 
room. Work you way through the shadows and talk to the blindfolded man 
on the LEFT side. 

Once that's done, you have two options to get to the War Room 
downstairs:

#1 - Exit back to through the CRAWLSPACE and make your way to the 
stairway and traverse your way down manually to the doors.

#2 - Head back through to the brightly lit hall (where the mopping 
guard was) and make you way back into the corridor from the beginning 
of the level). Head for the closed door under the Infrared Camera and 
use the BREAK OPEN option. Head inside and climb the ladder to the top. 
Access the CRAWLSPACE at the other end and emerge into a bathroom on 
the first floor of the I-SDF Building.


Either way you choose still leads to the same doorway on the first 
floor so pick one. 

Enter that doorway to the War Room area and into a brightly lit 
corridor with a moving walkway and three soldiers at the bottom.
On the wall is an electric box you can use to turn off the lights and 
the moving walkway. One soldier will walk on the other walkway and try 
to investigate the blackout. Grab him from the top of the room and 
interrogate him for a Metal Gear Solid crack.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                    ++ AREA: OUTSIDE THE WAR ROOM ++


--OBJECTIVE: GAIN ACCESS TO THE WAR ROOM
At the bottom floor are two guards and one Infrared Camera. When the 
coast is clear, use the OCP on the Camera and turn right and go down 
the small set of stairs.
From here, hide near the stairs and WHISTLE each guard down the stairs. 
Use a Sticky Shocker on both of them and hide their bodies UNDER the 
stairs. 

Across the stairs is a RETINAL SCANNER. HACK it and open the nearby 
door. Enter through a corner to see two doors (one with a Keypad on the 
left and the other with two soldiers inside on the right).
Head for the Keypad door and HACK it. Enter through to a large server 
room.

                     ++ AREA: I-SDF SERVER ROOM ++


In this server room are two Infrared Cameras. You'll need to be quick 
to get by unnoticed. Hide next to the nearby server to stay safe.

Use the OCP on the nearby Camera (you'll need to move back a little to 
see it). Turn on Night Vision to see the Infrared path of the other 
Camera. When it's clear, QUICKLY access the Computer in the center and 
use it and then QUICKLY exit the room.


Go back out to the hallway outside and head for the War Room (it's the 
large double doors, you can't miss it).

                         ++ AREA: WAR ROOM ++


In front of the War Room doors are the elevators. Remember this! Make 
your way into the War Room area and you'll see two guards (one on each 
side) and two Cameras (one on each side).

The Cameras DO NOT face forward, which means you can walk directly 
underneath it before using the OCP on it. When the coast is clear, use 
the OCP on the Camera from underneath it and hug the walls until you 
reach the corner. Eliminate both guards from here.


--OBJECTIVE: RECORD MEETING IN THE WAR ROOM
Above the War Room doors (which are locked) are ledges that Sam can 
climb up to. Climb it up and access the CRAWLSPACE and enter through to 
the other side. Listen to the conversation.


--OBJECTIVE: HACK THE GENERAL'S LAPTOP
HACK the nearby laptop when Grim gives the okay. Once the conversation 
finishes, exit the CRAWLSPACE and go back to the elevators (use the OCP 
on the Cameras first!).

                   ++ AREA: I-SDF SUB-LEVELS ++


The next sequence may seem difficult but it's actually NOT! Enter the 
elevator and go DOWN. Halfway through the ride, the elevator conks out 
and the trapdoor beneath Sam opens.
Jump down and shimmy towards the wall. Drop down five flights to the 
bottom floor.


--OBJECTIVE: CRIPPLE OTOMO'S I-SDF SERVERS
Jump up onto the floor and turn left. You will notice three soldiers 
placing Wall Mines in the back. 


From here you have two options:

#1 - Engage in combat. As they slowly walk away, position Sam at a 
distance and shoot the Wall Mine to kill all three soldiers. From 
there, grab one of the bodies and enter the next room. Inside you'll 
see diagonal Lasers but the soldier you're carrying will override all 
the Lasers (just like in Mission 3).

#2 - DO NOT ENGAGE IN COMBAT! Let them slowly make their way out of the 
room. When the coast is clear, SLOWLY walk up to the door. When you 
enter TURN ON THERMAL VISION! There are lasers in the next room! 
Traverse through the diagonal lasers and head for the door on the other 
end.


Choosing one path determines whether or not you get 100% for the 
Mission.

                      ++ AREA: OTOMO'S ROOM ++


When you enter the room, TURN RIGHT! Jump over the railing and sneak 
around the Computers. See that desk? Jump over it and over the open 
window.

Sam will land into a secret underground path behind a soldier. Jump out 
of the path and SLOWLY make your way up the stairs nearby. Shoot the 
light to darken the area (the soldiers won't hear you) and access the 
servers on the other end. Use the PLACE CHARGE option and then DETONATE 
it from afar.

Once that's done, it's Otomo time!


--OBJECTIVE: CAPTURE OTOMO ALIVE
SLOWLY make your way back to the secret path and traverse underneath 
the soldiers to the other side. Emerge out and SLOWLY make your way up 
the stairs.

At the top of the stairs, you'll see an enclosed server room to the 
right and Otomo's office to the left. After the seppuku incident, enter 
the server room and go to the open trap door. 
Make your way to the other side and emerge out. Head over to Otomo and 
SAVE him.


--OBJECTIVE: EXTRACTION TIME
Sam will hoist Otomo over his shoulder. Walk to the glass behind 
Otomo's desk and PLACE CHARGE. Move far away and it'll manually 
explode. Once the room floods, the Mission is Complete!

Welcome to Co-op Mode! So you and your buddy think you can do what Sam 
Fisher can do? We'll see about that.

Co-op Mode can be played as a (sort of) single player Mission on XBOX 
Live or via System Link. Split Screen Mode can only be used with two 
controllers on a single XBOX.

You'll have to get used to the idea of using the XBOX Live Headset in 
order to communicate with your buddy. 
In this walkthrough, I will give the options of what to do for BOTH you 
and your partner. It's up to you to choose who does what per situation.

Both Maps for the UN Headquarters and the Nuclear Power Plant are 
FINALLY available for download via XBOX Live! To download them, you 
need to access the CONTENT DOWNLOADER option in the Co-Op Menu and then 
download the XBL updater first. 

After the updater is loaded, go back to the CONTENT DOWNLOADER screen 
and access the downloads page. Both Maps are free and will take around 
10 minutes download time for both maps. ENJOY!

               ++  AREA: OUTSIDE TRAINING FACILITY  ++


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS PANELS
Anytime during this Training Mission, go up to the Blue-colored Panels 
and choose the REPLAY TIPS option to complete this first Objective.


--OBJECTIVE: JUMP OVER THE WALL
Co-Op #1 - Head for the striped square and crouch. Press the BLACK 
BUTTON to initiate the Jump sequence.

Co-Op #2 - Approach your partner and press the BLACK BUTTON to finish 
the Jump sequence. Once over the wall, open the Door for your partner 
and head inside.

                ++ AREA: INSIDE TRAINING FACILITY  ++


--OBJECTIVE: USE THE JAMMER TO AVOID DETECTION
Co-Op #1 - Crouch behind the striped square and bust out the Pistol. 
Use the OCP (you have to hold the L-Trigger) while Co-op #2 heads to 
the other side. Wait for Co-Op #2 to use his OCP before leaving your 
position.

Co-Op #2 - As the Co-op #1 uses the OCP, head to the other side. From 
your position, bust out the OCP and use it on the Camera while Co-Op #1 
heads to you.


--OBJECTIVE: COMPLETE THE TOMOE NAGE MOVE
Co-Op #1 - Initiate the Tomoe Nage (you have to press the BLACK BUTTON 
while STANDING!). After the toss, DO NOT MOVE! STAY WHERE YOU ARE!

Co-Op #2 - After the toss, walk up to the panel and use the SWITCH 
OBJECT option to deactivate the Lasers. Now both of you head for the 
door.

--OBJECTIVE: HACK THE COMPUTER AND DEACTIVATE LASER GRID PART 1
Co-Op #1 - Initiate the Boost move and toss your partner up to the 
roof. STAY IN POSITION!

Co-Op #2 - After the Boost, DO NOT GET UP! Hang from the ledge and 
press the BLACK BUTTON to initiate the Human Ladder move.


--OBJECTIVE: HACK THE COMPUTER AND DEACTIVATE LASER GRID PART 2
Co-Op #1 - Once Co-Op #2 gives the okay, press the BLACK BUTTON to 
climb over him and up to the roof. Co-Op #2 can now also climb up.

Co-Op #2 - Head for the striped square and use the INIT HANGOVER 
option.

BACK TO Co-Op #1 - When Co-Op #2 gives the okay, have him hoist you 
into the room and slowly ascend to the Computer. HACK the Computer and 
have him hoist you back up.

From here, both of you jump into the room and head to the next area.

--OBJECTIVE: HACK THE DUAL RETINAL SCANNER
Either both of you HACK each Retinal Scanner or have one do both for 
you. (Read my description for the Single Player walkthrough if you need 
to learn how to HACK). Once that's done head through to the other area.


--OBJECTIVE: COMPLETE THE DUAL RAPELLING MOVE
Co-Op #1 - Toss your buddy over the Barbed wired wall and then wait 
near the other striped square.

Co-Op #2 - After the toss, climb the Pipe leading to the roof and head 
to the striped square. Use the INIT RAPPELLING option to toss a rope 
down to your buddy. 
Press the L-Trigger or R-Trigger to move away from the hole in the wall 
as your buddy ascends.

BACK TO Co-Op #1 - Use the COMPLETE RAPPELLING option and head up. Make 
sure Co-Op #1 moves you out of the way of the hole.

Once you're both up on the roof, head for the door.

                    ++  AREA: OUTSIDE THE BANK  ++


Yeah! Time to put those skills to the test! In the open Courtyard are 
three guards. You have two options:

#1: THE EASY WAY
Each of you snuff out each guard and then head for the mini-shack near 
the open window.

#2: THE CO-OP WAY
Use the Tomoe Nage move on the guards. It's HI-LARIOUS but also 
dangerous in this open area but try it anyway!

Once you're done messing around, head for the mini-shack and boost one 
of yourselves up. After the Boost, use the Human Ladder then climb up. 
Use the Boost and Human Ladder again to reach the open window.

              ++  AREA: INSIDE THE BANK (SECOND FLOOR)  ++


Climb inside and one of you quickly approach the light switch and turn 
it off. From here you have two options:

#1 - THE EASY WAY
Co-Op #1 or 2 - When the guard outside goes to investigate the turned-
off light, sneak up and snuff him out.

#2 - THE CO-OP WAY
After turning out the light, get into Tomoe Nage position. When he 
opens the door, snuff him out.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     ++  AREA: BREAK ROOM AREA  ++

After that's done, exit the room. There's a small hall to the right and 
a door to the left. Ignore the door on the left and turn right. 

You'll see a Camera and two doors (one that needs to be Hacked on the 
left side and one on the right side).


From here you have two options:

#1 - THE EASY WAY
Shoot the ceiling light and enter the door on the RIGHT side. You'll 
enter a room and overhear a Soccer game on the TV.
Sneak past the two soldiers and exit the room.

#2 - THE CO-OP WAY
Shoot the light to darken the room. Have Co-Op #1 HACK the Keypad. Once 
it's HACKED, Co-Op #2 should use the OCP on the Camera. While the 
Camera is being jammed, let Co-Op #1 open the door and then shoot the 
bright ceiling light here across.

Either option leads to the same hallway.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


              ++  AREA: OUTSIDE BREAK ROOM AREA  ++


In this area is a Security room, a pair of broken elevators, and a 
Camera mounted above the elevators.
Shoot the lights out first. DO NOT head past the Security room! Instead 
do this:

Co-Op #1: Bust out the Pistol and either jam the Camera or the pair of 
spotlights in the second room. Let Co-Op #2 enter the room.

Co-Op #2: Once #1 is in the room, use the OCP on the spotlights and let 
Co-Op #1 pass through.

When using the OCP on the spotlights, make sure it's COMPLETELY OFF 
before proceeding!

Look for the open vent on the wall and use the Boost and Human Ladder. 
Once one of you is in the ventilation, the other one should go back 
into the hall, so bust out the OCP and use it on the spotlight.


--OBJECTIVE: GET THE PASSCODE
Co-Op #1: Inside the ventilation shaft, head forward and look down in 
the middle of the opening. There is a guard sitting smack dab in the 
middle of the room. DO NOT DO ANYTHING YET until Co-Op #2 snuffs out 
the guard outside!

Co-Op #2: Once you're in the hallway, wait for the soldier to traverse 
the hallway. Snuff him out. Once that's done, give Co-Op #1 the okay.

BACK TO Co-Op #1: Once you're given the okay, jump down into the room. 
When done correctly, you'll knock out the guard as you fall. Simple, 
ain't it?

Access his Computer and get the Passcode and head out the nearby door 
to a large room with a scaffolding and a well-hidden vent in the 
corner. 


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                       ++  AREA: MEETING ROOM  ++


To get to the Meeting Room area you have two options:

#1 - THE EASY WAY:
Co-Op #2 - Since you're already in the Hallway, go to the door at the 
end of the Hall and use the Optic Cable. There is a soldier wandering 
the room who will end up standing behind the door. Use the BASH DOOR 
option to clear the area.

#2 - THE CO-OP WAY:
In the large room with the scaffolding in the corner is a REALLY hard 
to see vent. Use the Boost and Human Ladder to get up there. 
From there, head down the ventilation and jump down into the Meeting 
Room. Snuff out the guard near the door and then turn off the lights.


Once all that's done, open the double doors (ignore the Keypad door) 
and shoot the light across the way. Make for the door on the other end.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     ++  AREA: SERVER AREA  ++


Go up the stairs and you'll see a vent. Do a Boost and Human Ladder 
move but one of you MUST stay in the stairway!


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE ARCHIVES PART 1
Co-Op #1 - When inside the vent, traverse all the way to the other side 
and wait at the opening. Wait for Co-op #2 to turn off the lights 
before proceeding further.

Co-Op #2 - Go up the stairs to see a Security room. Slowly creep to the 
hall on the right side and use the SWITCH OBJECT option to turn off the 
light. When the guard goes to investigate, GRAB HIM BUT DO NOT KNOCK 
HIM OUT YET! Give Co-Op #1 the okay once you got him.
Near the light switch you just used is a brightly lit area with two 
Retinal Scanners. Drag the guard in there and wait patiently for Co-Op 
#1 to bring the other set of eyes.

BACK TO Co-Op #1 - Stay in the vent until Co-Op #2 gives the okay. 
Jump down and head down the hall. You'll see two bright lights and a 
couple of doorways. Enter the door with the glass BUT DO NOT CLOSE IT! 
You'll see a man inside and you'll hear some Classical Music. GRAB him 
and drag him over to the Retinal Scanners (where your buddy is 
waiting).


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE ARCHIVES PART 2
Once you're both there, have both of your victims USE RETINAL SCANNER 
at the SAME TIME! One of you should knock out your victim and then turn 
off the lights in the room once the door is open.
Across the entrance is another light switch. Turn the light off to get 
the lone guard's attention.

Co-Op #1: As you turn off the light, follow the guard and knock him 
out.

Co-Op #2: As #1 is knocking the guard out, head for the Computer in the 
middle of the room to complete the Main Objective.

Once that's done, head back out to the hallway.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE MAIN SERVER
Once that's done, exit the room and exit the hallway at the other end. 
In the next hall, head for the door on the other end (turn off the 
light switch next to the door) and go inside.

Turn on Night Vision to see an open vent. Use the Boost and Human 
Ladder and get up to the vent. Exit this vent and jump down to the 
ground floor. There is a light switch next to the exit in this room. 
Use it and turn off the lights to grab the first guard's attention. 
Snuff him out.

Exit the room and shoot the light on the right side. Open the door on 
the right side but DO NOT GO IN!
There are three guards in this hall. You'll need some teamwork and 
quick reflexes to snuff them all.

At the end of the hall is a sliding door and a Camera above it. Shoot 
the light instead of using the OCP and head downstairs. 
See that opening with the shadow of the spinning fan? That's your next 
objective.

                     ++  AREA: VENTILATION FAN  ++


--OBJECTIVE: HACK THE METAL GATE
Before heading into the ventilation fan area, look for the doorway 
that's shut by a metal gate. Next to it is the lights. Turn them off 
and then continue to the vent.

Co-Op #1: Use the INIT HANGOVER option. When you are lowered to the 
Keypad, HACK it.

Co-Op #2: Use the COMPLETE HANGOVER option. Lower your buddy until he 
can reach the Keypad and HACK it. Once he's done pull him back up.

From here, the both of you can enter through the newly-opened metal 
gate nearby. Jump over the railing and shimmy to the railing on the 
other side. From there, access the elevator going down to the Laser 
grid on the first floor.

                  ++  AREA: THE LASER GRID FLOOR  ++


--OBJECTIVE: DISABLE LASER GRID
Technically, you can't disable it entirely but you can shut down all 
Lasers for a few seconds.

Here's how you do it: On the wall where all the lasers are, there 
should be a red glowing light. Do you see it? Using the OCP on that red 
light will disable ALL the Lasers until the OCP runs dry.
One of you should disable the Lasers for your buddy until he reaches 
the other side. 
After your partner safely makes it to the other side, STAY IN POSITION 
and let him take this next part by himself. 
Trust me, it's not worth the frustration if both of you go.


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE MAIN SERVER
Once past the Lasers, enter the hallway and shoot out both lights in 
here. Enter the door at the other end and you'll see two guards 
conversing in the dark.

Sneak in between them and enter the Server room. At the back of the 
room is a Camera. Simply shoot the light to darken the place and then 
access the Computer to complete the final Objective.

--OBJECTIVE: EXTRACTION TIME
Whichever one of you is in the Main Server room, STAY IN POSITION! 
YOU'VE FINISHED YOUR PART OF THE MISSION!

To the Co-Op waiting outside, head past the elevator (you can't use it 
anymore) to the lobby of the Bank. Shoot the chandelier and head 
upstairs. Shoot the chandelier up here and continue up. Enter the 
doorway into a small hall.
Enter the door at the end of this hall and you'll end up in the hallway 
where you entered the Bank. Jump out of the window and down to the 
Infiltration point.

                        ++  AREA: OUTER HOTEL  ++


Move forward to see a soldier nearby shooting at nothing. Snuff him out 
or ignore him, it doesn't matter.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                    ++  AREA: INSIDE THE BUILDING  ++


--OBJECTIVE: OBTAIN THE HOTEL PASSCODE (OPTIONAL)
You can obtain a Passcode here in this area but I still don't know the 
significance of the code so I'm considering all this optional.


From here you have two options to enter the building:

#1: THE EASY WAY
Snuff out the soldier outside. Enter the door and snuff out another 
soldier down here. Use the PICK LOCK option on the nearby room with 
glass windows and HACK the Computer to get the Hotel door passcode.

#2: THE CO-OP WAY
Near the door on the building is a well-lit area (it's colored red). 
Use the Boost and Human Ladder move to reach the second floor (with a 
destroyed wall).

Enter through the destroyed wall and snuff out the guard on this floor. 
Enter through the door to a hole on the floor. 
Use the INIT RAPPELLING option and lower your buddy to the Computer and 
HACK. (Don't worry about the guards outside, they CANNOT see you!)
Once the Computer is HACKED, pull your buddy up and then both of you 
manually jump down that same hole.


Alright, was that part clear? Now exit the room.
Co-Op #1 - Snuff out the guard and hide the body in the room.

Co-Op #2 - While your partner is eliminating the guard, go around the 
corner where the turret is and DEACTIVATE it.

Once that's done, use the BREAK LOCK option on the nearby door and jump 
down the hole on the floor. Use the Boost and Human Ladder on the hole 
next to it to enter the Apartment area.

                        ++  AREA: APARTMENTS  ++


--OBJECTIVE: FIND JONG POM-CHU
This next part is tricky and involves a civilian who can easily see 
everything no matter how sneaky and Cooperative you both are. 


But you can try and follow these tactics to avoid being ACTUALLY seen 
by anyone:

Co-Op #1: Turn off the lights in the room and use the PICK LOCK option 
on the door near the light switch. Enter the next room and turn off the 
lights. Now exit this room and into a hall with a stairway.

Co-Op #2: As your buddy exits the room, snuff out the wandering guard 
in the hall. From there, stand by until Co-Op #1 finishes this next 
part.

BACK TO Co-Op #1: Before going up the stairs, shoot out the light on 
top of the stairwell. Go up the stairs and you'll see a guard watching 
over the stairwell. Eliminate him. Give your buddy the okay once that's 
done. Head for the door nearby and HACK it. OPEN the door and head 
outside and listen to the conversation.


--OBJECTIVE: INTERROGATE THE IMPOSTOR
BACK TO Co-Op #2: Once your buddy gives the okay, go up the stairs and 
into the well-lit bathroom. Use the SWITCH OBJECT option and turn off 
the lights. Now grab the impostor in the corner and INTERROGATE him.
Once that's done, standby until your partner finishes the next part.


--OBJECTIVE: INTERROGATE THE OFFICER
Once the officer shoots the subordinate soldier, stand BEHIND the other 
soldier as he and the Officer converse with one another. Once the 
conversation ends, GRAB the soldier and knock him out in the corner. 
From there, sneak up behind the Officer (in the Hat) and GRAB and 
INTERROGATE him to finish this Objective.


From here you have two options for continuing the mission:
#1 - Continue through to the AA Machines in the Courtyard
#2 - Gain information on Jong's contingency escape plan (optional)


I will give walkthroughs for both.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


             ++  AREA: ENCLOSED ROOM IN THE APARTMENTS ++


This Objective is OPTIONAL! It's up to you if you want to do this. 
Across the Keypad door in the hallway is a metal door that is closed. 
You can only use the OPTIC CABLE option on this door to see a soldier 
inside and a Computer to HACK.


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE JONG'S CONTINGENCY PLAN
In the area where you interrogated the Officer are two ledges to use 
the Boost and Human Ladder move. Near the Keypad door is a sort of 
broken refrigerator. Do you see it?
Crouch in front of it and do a Boost and Human Ladder move. From here 
you'll see a large ventilation shaft to enter. Go in and head through 
the shaft. At the end of the path is a large opening with a soldier 
standing guard.


The INIT HANGOVER option pops up but you have two choices from there:

#1: THE EASY WAY
Bust out the SC-20K and shoot either a Sticky Camera or a Sticky 
Shocker (whichever one you have) at the soldier. When he's down, jump 
down into the room and HACK his Computer to retrieve the Contingency 
plan. Turn off the lights and exit the room back to the Keypad door.

#2: THE CO-OP WAY
This tactic requires MAJOR patience and MAJOR silence. Use the INIT 
HANGOVER option and lower your buddy towards the Computer and HACK it 
WITHOUT getting the guard's attention. Think you can do it?
Once it's HACKED, pull him up and go back out the ventilation shaft.



-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                        ++  AREA: UPPER ROOFS  ++


In this area where you interrogated the Officer are two ledges. Use the 
Boost and Human Ladder move on the wall near where the Officer and 
soldiers were talking. 
Once on top, jump over the fence and work your way around the corners 
to a large open Courtyard below.

                       ++  AREA: COURTYARD #1  ++


--OBJECTIVE: DESTROY THE AA MACHINES (1 OF 2)
From here you have THREE options to get both of yourselves down to the 
Courtyard below. Use the one you think is best.

#1: THE EASY WAY
Near the corner is a ZIPLINE. Use it to zip next to the AA Machine.

#2: THE EASIER WAY
Shimmy on the ledge to the left and slide down the nearby Pipeline to 
the Courtyard below.

#3: THE CO-OP WAY
Use the INIT RAPPELLING option and lower your buddy to the Courtyard. 
Once he's down, use the Zipline or the Pipe to get down.


Mix and match your options here. Now that you're both on the Courtyard, 
you'll see three guards patrolling the Courtyard (2 on the Courtyard 
and 1 on the upper balcony).

If you want to eliminate them, it's up to the both of you. Your biggest 
problem will be the soldier on the balcony.
To neutralize the soldier on the balcony, there is a pipeline near a 
brightly lit but empty water cove. Climb that pipe and shimmy all the 
way to the balcony. Climb over the ledge and snuff this sucker out. 
Once that's done, just jump over the ledge near the lamp post to go 
down to the Courtyard.

Get behind the large tank-like AA Machine and use the INIT SHOULDER 
option to hoist your partner up to the upper machine. Use the PLACE 
CHARGE option and then ABORT to get off his shoulders. Hightail it to 
the empty water cove (you'll see an open tunnel to enter) and use the 
DETONATE CHARGE option. Once that's done, enter the tunnel to the other 
Courtyard.

**Make sure you're at a FAR distance when you detonate the sucker or 
you and your buddy will be blown to bits!



-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                      ++  AREA:  COURTYARD #2  ++


--OBJECTIVE: DISABLE THE AA MACHINE (2 OF 2)
Exit the tunnel and out the darkened cove. In this open Courtyard are 
three soldiers (2 of them sitting in Chairs and 1 patrolling around). 
Snuff them out in any fashion and access the AA Machine. Do the same 
thing as the first machine.

Once both Machines are destroyed, it's time to head for the Cyber Cafe. 
The exit out of this Courtyard is right next to the AA Machine. Look 
for an open vent and climb on down to the sewers.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                         ++  AREA: THE SEWER  ++


--OBJECTIVE: FIND OUT WHERE JONG IS
As you and your buddy enter the sewers, the next objective will sort 
itself out with Sam Fisher's help.
Use the Boost and Human Ladder move to hoist yourselves out of the 
sewer. Head down the tunnel and climb the ladder up to the Fish Market.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     ++  AREA: THE FISH MARKET  ++


Head out of the sewer and go down the alley. Enter the door at the end 
and turn off the lights. See that half-opened metal door? Watch 
yourselves! Two soldiers get suspicious about the light but WILL NOT go 
in so stay inside until they leave.

Once the soldiers continue their patrol, exit the half-opened door to a 
large dock. You'll see two docks but only one boat.


--OBJECTIVE: SABOTAGE JONG'S BOAT
After exiting the half-opened door, have you and your buddy snuff out 
all the soldiers on the upper tier.
Near the half-opened door is a ladder leading to Jong's boat. DO NOT 
TAKE THIS LADDER DOWN! There is a turret watching the boat! You'll die 
a stupid death! NOOO, DON'T TAKE THIS ROUTE!!

To get to Jong's boat safely without turret damage, head for the 
stairway across the dock. Across from Jong's boat is an empty dock. At 
the end of that dock is a ZIPLINE that is too high to reach. Use the 
Boost move to toss your buddy up to the ZIPLINE and zip to Jong's boat.

At the back of the boat is a generator. Use the PIERCE option to 
disable it and then access the turret and disable that! WHEW-WEE!!


--OBJECTIVE: HEAD TO THE CYBER CAFE
Once you've blown Jong's escape plan, go back to the stairway. Across 
the stairs is a stack of boxes and a wall with Korean lettering. You 
can use the Boost and Human Ladder move here to access the upper roof 
but it really isn't that useful (but try it if you want).

Continue down the docks towards the open alley (while eliminating 
fools) towards the Cyber Cafe.

                 ++  AREA: OUTSIDE THE CYBER CAFE  ++


--OBJECTIVE: LOCATE JONG POM-CHU
Eliminate the guard in the alley. There's a doorway here that is closed 
and CANNOT be accessed! Head further into the alley to see a gated 
fence. Before climbing the fence, do yourselves a favor and shoot out 
ALL the neon lights!

++NOTE: Across the gated fence is a truck. That's the Extraction point 
so keep that in mind! If you need a pair of Smoke Grenades, enter the 
truck and get them if you need them.


++ADVANCED TACTIC: Next to the truck is a stack of boxes. Jump on top 
of them and then jump up to a ledge. Turn around to see Jong in the 
window. From here, you can shoot a Sticky Shocker or Sticky Camera into 
his room and incapacitate him. From here you can't do anything else.

Now climb over the fence and go down the alley. There is a door at the 
end of the way.


From here you have two options to enter the Cafe:

#1: THE HARD WAY
Enter the door and try to eliminate two guards inside the room. Exit 
the room by HACKING the Retinal Scanner (or use a guard if you were 
lucky to GRAB him) and go out into a sort of Barroom area. Go the 
corner and go up the stairs.

#2: THE CO-OP WAY
Next to the door in the alley is a large dumpster and a bunch of boxes. 
Climb on top of those and use the Boost and Human Ladder move to get to 
the upper area of the Cyber Cafe.

                   ++  AREA: INSIDE THE CYBER CAFE  ++


--OBJECTIVE: CAPTURE JONG POM0CHU (ALIVE)

You have two ways to capture Jong:

#1: THE QUIET WAY
Use the OPTIC CABLE on the door on the second floor and you'll see two 
guards wandering inside. Open the door quietly. Bust out the SC-20K and 
shoot a Sticky Camera onto the wall. Try to snuff out both guards with 
the gas before continuing.

Once they're down, go to the door across from you and use the PICK LOCK 
option and enter. GRAB Jong before he escapes out the door.

#2: THE NOISY WAY
If you tried the above tactic and caused a big noisy stirrup, just 
eliminate the soldiers! Jong will escape and try to head down to his 
boat in the Fish Market. Good thing you disabled that boat of his! Go 
to the boat and GRAB him!


--OBJECTIVE: TAKE JONG TO THE EXTRACTION TRUCK
Head over to Jong and GRAB him. Once you have Jong in your grip, drag 
him (or carry his body) to the Truck across the Cyber Cafe to complete 
the Mission.

             ++  AREA: OUTSIDE THE MISSILE SILO BUNKER  ++


--OBJECTIVE: ELIMINATE THE FREAKING GUARDS
First things first! In the area near infiltration are three guards (1 
in the upper bunker and 2 patrolling each Missile silo).
Let Co-Op #1 do this part first. Co-Op #2 should standby until the next 
part is finished.


Co-Op #1: Equip the Pistol and the SC-20K with Sticky Shockers. Run up 
next to the truck nearby and bust out the Pistol. Target the lightpost 
in the above bunker to darken the area. Now turn on Thermal Vision to 
see a soldier patrolling the above bunker. Do you see him?

Equip the SC-20K and shoot a Sticky Shocker at him. Time your shots 
right! Once the soldier is down, continue through to the nearby fence 
and climb over it. Call your buddy over.

Co-Op #2: Head for the fence and climb over and standby again until 
your Partner finishes the next part.


BACK TO Co-Op #1: Near the fence is a ladder going down to the first 
missile silo. DO NOT CLIMB DOWN THE LADDER YET! Stay above and 
patiently wait for a patrolling soldier to walk past the ladder. Shoot 
another Sticky Shocker into him. NOW climb the ladder down.

                ++  AREA: MISSILE SILO #1 AND #2  ++


--OBJECTIVE: ACTIVATE THE SWITCH FOR MISSILE SILO #1
You cannot use the SWITCH in Missile silo #1 so head over to Missile 
silo #2. Traverse to the second area and snuff out the guard here.

Now climb over the silo and stand in the middle. Use the INIT 
RAPPELLING option and have your buddy climb down the silo.

Co-Op #2: Once you descend into the bottom of the silo, bust out the 
Pistol and shoot out the spotlight. Head to the half-opened door and 
use the SWITCH OBJECT. Once that's done, contact your buddy to throw 
the rope back down.

BACK TO Co-Op #1: When your buddy is done down here, use the INIT 
RAPPELLING option to have him climb back up.



--OBJECTIVE: ENTER THE BUNKER THROUGH MISSILE SILO #1
Now go back to Missile silo #1 and climb over. Use the SWITCH OBJECT to 
bring up the elevator. Each of you take the elevator until you're both 
at the bottom of the silo.

Now exit the silo to a brightly lit stairway. There is a lone soldier 
patrolling this stairway. Bust out the Pistol and shoot all the lights 
to darken the area (4 lights total). 
Eliminate this soldier any way you want (use the pipe on the ceiling in 
the middle of the stairway for a stylish kill).

At the bottom of the stairway is a locked door. Instead, use the 
CRAWLSPACE in the corner to enter the sewer. Use the Boost and Human 
Ladder move to the upper area and enter the other CRAWLSPACE to the 
Warhead Room.

                   ++  AREA: THE WARHEAD ROOM  ++


As you exit the CRAWLSPACE, look to your left to see a large room with 
Warheads. You'll enter this room in the last part of this Mission, 
remember this!

ADVANCED TACTIC: DARKEN THE WARHEAD ROOM
As you exit the CRAWLSPACE, bust out the Pistol and you can shoot the 
nearby lights in the Warhead Room to darken it. 
Trust me, this'll help you when you get to this part in the last half 
of the mission!

After that's done, enter the CRAWLSPACE at the other end to the roof of 
the elevator. Next to the CRAWLSPACE is ladder going up. Climb it up 
and enter a large ventilation system path. 
Take it all the way to the end.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                       ++  AREA: MONKEY LAB  ++


--OBJECTIVE: INTERROGATE THE MONKEY SCIENTIST
Co-Op #1: Quietly jump down the vent and grab the nearby scientist and 
INTERROGATE him for some info (or don't). Access his Computer and then 
shut it down to darken half the room. 
Your buddy will do something else as you finish your objective here.


--OBJECTIVE: DEACTIVATE THE HIDDEN TURRET
Co-Op #2: As your buddy is doing all the stuff mentioned above, go 
outside and shoot the light. Snuff out the guard out here and hide his 
body. Go down the corner to see a bunch of lasers. Wait for the guard 
to stop near your area and snuff him out. 
Grab his body and carry him past the lasers. (You can use the pipe on 
the ceiling but its too much hassle.)

At the end of the hall is a Computer. Use it to DEACTIVATE the hidden 
turret and the lasers in the hall. Standby for now.


--OBJECTIVE: UNLOCK THE FREEZER DOOR (ADVANCED TACTIC)
BACK TO Co-Op #1: As your buddy is doing all the stuff mentioned above, 
exit the Monkey Lab into the darkened hall. Turn on NIGHT VISION to see 
another door that needs to be HACKED.

HACK the door and go inside. You'll see a guard sleeping inside. 
Quietly snuff him out and head for the Keypad door in here. HACK it 
open. There's nothing in the freezer right now, but a Key Item will be 
found here later in the Mission. 
So head back out to where your buddy is waiting.

                  ++  AREA: MONKEY TESTING AREA  ++


Both of you quietly head into the next area. In the open Lab area, 
you'll see a scientist moving around, a dead monkey on a stretcher, and 
a Camera above the X-Ray light board.


--OBJECTIVE: RETRIEVE THE MONKEY TESTING TAPE/DEACTIVATE CAMERA
There are various ways to screw up this next part but not without my 
help you ain't!

Co-Op #1: Standby and let your buddy do this next part. Wait for his 
confirmation before jumping down into the lab area.

Co-Op #2: Time for some action! Work your way around the upper lab and 
you'll see an open TRAP DOOR. Quietly jump down and the PICKUP OBJECT 
option will appear as soon as you land. Use it to finish the first half 
of the objective.

Now turn the Camera to see a soldier browsing his Computer. Jump over 
the cubicle wall and knock him out. Access his Computer and HACK it to 
disable the Camera in the lab area outside. 
Once that's done, give your buddy the confirmation and standby.


BACK TO Co-Op #1: When you get the okay, jump down to the lab area and 
sneak up on the scientist and grab him since the Camera is disabled (or 
if you want to do it the easier way, shoot the X-Ray light board to 
darken the room and then snuff him out in the dark). 
Give your buddy the okay once you've snuffed out the scientist.

BACK TO Co-Op #2: Exit the room into the lab area when you get the 
confirmation.


There are two exits in the lab area: the sliding door next to the dead 
monkey and the regular door across from it.

Use the regular door and enter through to the Main Lab.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                      ++  AREA: THE MAIN LAB  ++


--OBJECTIVE: GET THE VIRAL PROTOCOL IN THE MAIN LAB
Enter through to see three doors: 1 on the left, 1 in the middle, and 1 
on the right. 

**There is a guard patrolling outside the stairway on the door on the 
right. Enter through that door and eliminate him to make the next part 
easier.


Shoot the light near the door on the left to darken the entire area. 
Co-Op #2 should wait in front of the left door. Co-Op #1 will go open 
it for you, so standby.

Co-Op #1: Go to the door in the middle. HACK it open and then enter.
You'll see a sleeping guard so snuff him out. SHUT OFF his Computer 
(there's no useful info to HACK anyway) and shoot the TV above it. See 
that red glowing button on the wall? Press it to open the door for your 
buddy waiting outside. 
Standby and let your partner finish this next part.


Co-Op #2: Enter through once the door is opened. In this room are two 
soldiers. One is nearby using the Computer and the other is across the 
room. GRAB the nearby soldier and wait in the dark.

The soldier across from you will leave the room, allowing you to do 
anything you please. Knock out the soldier you grabbed. DO NOT enter 
the room the other soldier entered! Leave him alone! Across from where 
you grabbed the guard is a filing cabinet. 
Use the SEARCH CABINET option to finish the Objective.


--OBJECTIVE: OBTAIN THE VIRAL SAMPLES
Once that's done, exit out of the Main Lab. Head over to the door 
that's on the right side. 
Take the stairs going up while shooting out lights (there's a hard to 
see Camera) to the exit.

You'll end up back in the hallway with the Lasers and the hidden 
turret. Go back to the Freezer Room that had the sleeping soldier. 
Enter the Freezer Room and obtain the Viral Samples in here. 

There are three Viral Samples in the Freezer Room. One of you should 
take the "O" Sample and one of you should take the "A" and "B" Samples. 
Exit the room and go back to the monkey lab.



--OBJECTIVE: GO TO THE CRYOGENIC CHAMBER TO MIX THE SAMPLE
Make your way back to the monkey lab (you know, the one with the dead 
monkey on the stretcher?). 

Use the stairway near the hidden turret (if you didn't close the door) 
or jump down from the upper lab. 
Enter the sliding door next to the dead monkey but BE CAREFUL! Go to 
the darkened corner and you'll see a Camera watching over the area.

Once in a while a soldier will wander near the Camera. Snuff him out. 
If he's not there, then who the hell cares.

Anyway, one of you should use the OCP on the Camera as the other one 
runs towards the Cryo Chamber on the left side. Once one of you is 
there, use the OCP on the Camera again from your side to let your 
partner through.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                  ++  AREA: CRYOGENIC CHAMBER AREA  ++


--OBJECTIVE: MIX THE VIRAL SAMPLES
Once both of you are near the Cryogenic Chamber, one should enter the 
"A" Chamber and one in the "B" Chamber.
Press the USE CRYO button and three vials (per Co-Op) will appear 
onscreen with different colors. The "A" Chamber will have vials A, B, 
and C and the "B" Chamber will have vials D, E, and F.

Look in your notes to see what colors need to be mixed per Co-Op. (The 
colors will vary per playthrough, so don't think I'm going to tell you 
what they are). The vials need to be mixed in a simultaneous fashion.

The Co-Op in the "A" Chamber mixes the first color and then the Co-Op 
in the "B" Chamber mixes the second color. 
Follow your notes and simultaneously mix the colors (be quick) to 
create the sample. Repeat the simultaneous procedure until Lambert 
chimes in to approve your work. 

++If the mixing goes wrong, any Co-Op who used the wrong color will be 
doused with gas for a few seconds (don't worry, it won't kill 
you...yet).


--OBJECTIVE: OBTAIN THE VIRUS VIAL
Once the vial is successfully mixed, it's time to retrieve it. Exit the 
Chamber and a guard will wander around outside. Lure him towards the 
Chamber and conk him.

To enter the nearby elevator, one of you must use the OCP on the Camera 
(don't disable the light, the Camera will still see you). Use the CALL 
ELEVATOR button and get in.
Before using the elevator going UP, shoot the light in here. NOW go UP.

When the elevator stops, a soldier will wonder why the light is out. 
Conk him and hide his body inside the elevator. 
Make your way to the door on the other end.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                       ++  AREA: UPPER FLOOR  ++ 


--OBJECTIVE: USE THE DUAL RETINAL SCANNERS
In this room are lots of stacked crates and scaffoldings. Use them if 
you want. Also in this room are two guards and two Retinal Scanners. 
Hmmm...I wonder what you need two guards and two Retinal Scanners for?
Dude, GRAB them both and use them at the Scanners!

Knock out the boys but one of you should standby. Exit the opened door 
and put your back against the wall. Creep to the corner to view a 
soldier wandering the hall. Knock him out when he turns around.

++Even if this soldier "sees something", his stupid-ass will sound an 
alarm anyway, so be REALLY stealthy! Believe me, I found that out the 
hard way!


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


               ++  AREA: ABOVE THE CRYOGENIC CHAMBER  ++


--OBJECTIVE: OBTAIN THE VIRUS VIAL
Exit the room to the door on the other end. See that spotlight there? 
Shoot it out. Now stand in the middle of the metal grate and use the 
INIT HANGOVER option. Lower your buddy and have him grab the Vial.

Now pull him back up. From where you used the INIT HANGOVER, use the 
Tomoe Nage move to toss your buddy clear across the room. Whoever is on 
the other side, head for the sliding door on the side of the metal 
grate to let your buddy through.

Go the corner to see a guard standing in front of a door with his back 
to you. You have two options to snuff him out:

#1: THE EASY WAY:
Grab him from behind and conk him.

#2: THE CO-OP WAY
TOMOE NAGE!! WOOHOO, YEAH!!!


--OBJECTIVE: GO TO THE WARHEAD ROOM
Enter the door and use the elevator and go DOWN. Exit the elevator and 
exit the door to the WarHead room.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                    ++  AREA: THE WARHEAD ROOM  ++


Remember this room? You passed by it in the beginning of the level! 
Shoot out the lights here and snuff out the three soldiers. 
Trust me, it's not that hard.


--OBJECTIVE: PLACE THE WARHEAD ON ITS METAL HOLDER
Co-Op #1: Go to the Control Room and use the lever to move the Warhead. 
Press the L-Trigger to lower the Warhead and the R-Trigger to raise it.

Co-Op #2: Go to the lower area of the room and guide your buddy as he 
moves the Warhead to the placeholder.


--OBJECTIVE: HACK AND DISABLE THE WARHEAD
Once the warhead is in its placeholder, one of you should HACK it. Once 
that's done, the both of you need to defuse it.

Use the DEFUSE option to see four sets of wires. Press up or down on 
the Left Analog Stick to select one of the four wires. Whichever wire 
lets off a hard rumble on the Controller is the wire you need to cut.

When the both of you have got rumbling Controllers, press the A Button 
AT THE SAME TIME to defuse the warhead. If it goes wrong...KA-BLOOEY! 
If it went right, Lambert chimes in and tells you to get the hell out 
of Dodge.


--OBJECTIVE: GET THE HELL OUT OF DODGE
In the corner of the Warhead Room is an open Trap Door. Take it down to 
the sewers. 
Use the Boost and Human Ladder in here and then climb the ladder out.

                        ++  AREA: THE DOCKS  ++


There are four soldiers here (2 patrolling around and 2 on the nearby

Welcome back to New York!


                           ++  AREA: SEWERS  ++


--OBJECTIVE: INFILTRATE THE SUBWAY
Work your way around the corner until you reach the gap. Use the Tomoe 
Nage move to throw your partner across the gap. Standby as he finishes 
the next part.


Co-Op #1: Use the OCP on the light on the ceiling to grab the first 
guard's attention. Knock him out and hide his body. Do the same tactic 
for the solider at the other end. Give your buddy the okay.

Co-Op #2: When the coast is clear, use the pipe on the ceiling to cross 
the gap to the other side. 

Now both of you go around the corner. You'll see large pipes and stacks 
of crates blocking the way.
Go past the large pipes and the shimmy on the pipe on the ceiling to 
the other side of the crates. As you work your down the path, there 
will be a well-lit ledge on the left side.
Use the INIT RAPPELLING move to lower your buddy to the lower sewers. 
From there you both can head to the subway area using different routes.


Co-Op #1: After you lower your buddy, go back to the darkened path and 
to the corner. You'll see a spotlight and some scaffolding. Climb the 
scaffolding up to end up in the abandoned train car area of the subway.

Co-Op #2: Once you rappel to the bottom of the sewer, take the pathways 
to the ladder at the end. Climb the ladder up and open the TRAP DOOR. 
You'll end up on the OTHER side of the abandoned train car area of the 
subway.

                ++  AREA: ABANDONED TRAIN CAR AREA  ++


In this area are four soldiers. Snuff them out in any fashion you want. 
See those train cars? Ignore them. There's nothing useful in any of the 
cars.


--OBJECTIVE: GET THE BOMB SCHEMATICS
Once all the guards are out of the picture, access the Computer and 
read the Notes to get the info.

Enter the brightly-lit tunnel at the other side of the area. There is a 
turret guarding this tunnel. 
So far I haven't been able to find an effective way to evade this 
sucker except the hard way.


--OBJECTIVE: DEACTIVATE THE TURRET
To do this the hard way, one of you is going to have to take one for 
the team. 

Co-Op #1: Run in front of the turret and get shot down. The turret will 
keep firing at your dead body, allowing your partner to successfully 
DEACTIVATE the turret and then he'll revive you.

Co-Op #2: When your buddy is down, run behind the turret (it'll keep 
shooting at your dead buddy) and DEACTIVATE it. After that, use an 
Adrenaline Shot on your buddy and continue through.

Enter the door to a darkened room with a red laser.

      ++  AREA: ABANDONED TRAIN CAR STATION - OTHER SIDE  ++


As you enter the room, you'll see a long red laser and overhear two 
guards outside. 

Use the Tomoe Nage to throw your partner between the red laser to the 
other side. From here, follow these directions:


Co-Op #1: Whoever was thrown to the other side, neutralize the two 
guards (1 will enter the room you're in and 1 will stay outside). 
Go to the wall where the red laser is near the train and the DEFUSE 
option will appear. DO NOT TOUCH IT YET! Wait for your buddy to 
confirm!

Co-Op #2: You CANNOT jump past the laser. DON'T EVEN TRY! Instead, go 
to the wall where the laser is positioned at. The DEFUSE option will 
appear. Give your buddy the confirmation. 


--OBJECTIVE: DEFUSE THE DUAL KEYPAD BOMB (1 OF 3)
Now it's defusing time! When you access the bomb, a large Keypad with 
four wires on top appear onscreen. Ignore the Keypad, it's just there 
to confuse you. Press left or right on the Left Analog to select a 
wire. Whichever one rumbles is the one you need to cut but BE QUICK! 
The rumble changes between wires after a few seconds!

You and your buddy have to cut the rumbling wire on each end AT THE 
SAME TIME! Once its cut, you both have 30 seconds to cut ANOTHER 
rumbling wire on the same bomb AT THE SAME TIME to fully defuse it. 
Damn, this is hard, huh?

Once it's defused, Lambert chimes in and it's time to defuse the next 
bomb. Exit the area by using the open vent next to the door. 
Use the Boost and Human Ladder and then climb the ladder down.

                  ++  AREA: SUBWAY TURBINE ROOM  ++


In this small room is a spotlight and a destroyed ceiling. One of you 
can jump to the top floor and the other can stay below.

Exit the room and head outside. Whoever is on the top floor, shoot out 
all the lights in the room. In this room are four guards. Snuff them 
all out in any fashion you want.


--OBJECTIVE: DEFUSE THE KEYPAD BOMB (2 OF 3)
Near the exit of the room is a Camera so make sure all the lights are 
out! Defuse the laser bomb and then head through the empty hall to the 
other side.

In the hall, you'll find a Med-Kit and two SC-20K ammo boxes (not that 
you need them). Exit the door at the corner to the subway.

                ++  AREA: 42ND STREET SUBWAY LINE  ++


Exit the room and enter the subway area. Shoot all the lights in here 
to darken the area. In this area are three guards. Again, snuff them 
all out in any fashion. 


--OBJECTIVE: DEFUSE THE KEYPAD BOMB (3 OF 3)
Once all the guards are out, defuse the bomb to finish the Objective. 
Now QUIETLY go up the stairs to the Ticket booth. The door is closed 
and can't be opened so Co-Op time!

Use the Boost and Human Ladder move and hoist yourself up the both. One 
of you jump down and smack the guard inside and open the doors for your 
buddy. Head down the hall and eliminate the guard patrolling this 
square hall (shoot the lights).

Before you take the escalators up, you'll see one more guard near the 
phone booths. Smack him up and then hide the body. Now go up the 
stairs.

                 ++  AREA: GRAND CENTRAL STATION  ++


--OBJECTIVE: TAP THE PHONE LINE BEFORE CHU USES IT
This Objective is easy but SUPER frustrating to accomplish if done 
wrong! Head to the Center Booth and use the Boost and Human Ladder 
move.

Move forward SLOWLY until the INIT HANGOVER option appears. You'll have 
to lower your buddy and let him TAP the phone line RIGHT BEHIND Chu. 
If done correctly, you can accomplish this task without being seen. 
After the phone is tapped, pull your buddy up and wait. Lambert chimes 
in and tells you to "lay low".


--OBJECTIVE: FOLLOW CHU AND OBTAIN THE VIRUS ANTIDOTE
As you listen to the conversation, two soldiers will emerge from the 
Locker rooms and will scour the darkened area near the Center booth. 
Snuff them out if you want.

              ++  AREA: CENTRAL STATION LOCKER ROOMS  ++


Follow Chu into the Locker Rooms. Take the path across from the Center 
Booth and go from room to room. Shoot out the lights if you need to.


There are two separate ways to follow Chu into the Locker Room:

#1: Follow him through the hall while trying to eliminate his guards. 
Enter the door he enters and keep tailing him until he reaches the 
Locker. (Don't worry, the Locker Room lights are OFF.)

#2: There is a door in the hall that leads to a supply room. In that 
room is an alternate pathway into the Locker Rooms.


--OBJECTIVE: OBTAIN THE ANTIDOTE
If you followed Chu, let him open the Locker. KILL Chu (don't knock him 
out) and inject yourself with the Antidote.

If you killed Chu before he reached the Locker, you'll have to HACK the 
Locker door (and you'll miss an Opportunity Objective).

Now, whoever was injected has to do this next part of the Mission 
alone. Whoever was NOT injected MUST standby!

                   ++  AREA: NYPD SECURITY ROOM  ++


--OBJECTIVE: KILL THE CONTAMINATED SOLDIER IN THE BATHROOM
Continue past the doors to a room with a whirling red light. Across 
from you is a soldier standing idly. Knock him out.

The hall is blocked by a police caddy so take the door inside the 
Security Room. There is one more guard patrolling inside, so snuff him 
out. Now continue past the doors to the bathroom (you'll hear vehement 
sounds of non-stop puking).

Go into the bathroom. Get behind the puking soldier and KILL him (DO 
NOT knock him out; it'll cause problems for your partner).


--OBJECTIVE: SECURE THE CHEMICAL TOXIN
After you kill off that puker, grab the Toxin sample next to him.

++BIG NOTE: If you die as soon as you get inside the bathroom, it's 
because you were NOT supposed to be the one to do this part of the 
Mission, dummy! And if your partner dies as soon as he enters the 
bathroom, it's because you didn't kill that puker!

Once that's done, call your partner to the bathroom. It's time to get 
the hell out of Dodge.


--OBJECTIVE: GET THE HELL OUT OF DODGE
In the bathroom ceiling is an open vent. Use the Boost and Human Ladder 
move and head through the vent. Jump down the ceiling and go down the 
escalator.

There are three guards at the bottom of the escalator. 
I'm still trying to figure out how to eliminate them without getting 
seen so bear with me. Anyway, if you can eliminate all three guards, DO 
IT! Head for the large glass roof on the floor and jump on it to fall 
through.

YEEHAW!! You just finished Co-Op Mode, partner!!! But WAIT! There's 
still MORE! Read below for the juicy details on the new maps.

                 +++   DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT MAPS   +++


In June/July of 2005, Ubisoft announced that there were three brand new 
maps for Download via XBOX LIVE: ONE new map for Versus Mode and TWO 
maps for CO-OP. 

Apparently, the maps were bugged when they were released and all three 
were pulled from the XBL server immediately. Ubisoft then announced 
that the maps were to be re-released bug-free "at the end of summer". 
But it took a mere SIX long months before anything was heard of again. 

In January of 2006, the maps (plus one new VERSUS Map) were finally 
released and are now available for download via XBOX Live. All the 
details for both CO-OP Maps are in the walkthrough below.

If you are reading this, then that means you just learned about the new 
maps and need some help, right? RIGHT!


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                 +++   AREA: OUTSIDE THE POWER PLANT   +++


--OBJECTIVE: INFILTRATE THE POWER PLANT
First things first, CO-OP TIME!

CO-OP #1: Go to the wall and use the BOOST Move toss your buddy to the 
top ledge and then standby.

CO-OP #2: After you catch the ledge, shimmy to the right to the metal 
ledge and then call your buddy and let him use the HUMAN LADDER move.

Back to CO-OP #1: When your partner calls you, climb up and on the 
metal ledge. From there, use the BOOST Move again to toss your buddy up 
to the higher ledge on the wall and then standby.

Back to CO-OP #2: When prompted, let your buddy toss you the top and 
then shimmy all the way to the right. Climb over the metal ledge and 
then shimmy on the other side all the way to the upper ledge area with 
the door. Climb up and then use the INIT RAPPELLING option.

CO-OP #1: When you buddy is at the other side, jump down from where you 
are and head for the rope where he is and climb up to the top.


Now that you are both on the top ledge, enter the CRAWLSPACE into the 
Power Plant.


----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     +++   AREA: POWER PLANT   +++


Creep through the ventilation duct to the other side and you'll emerge 
in a room with two open trap doors. Enter either one and then enter the 
ventilation under there to the other side.


You'll emerge at into a large room with large pipes and four soldiers. 
Stay behind the door in the dark and wait. There is a soldier that 
approaches near you from the left side, two soldiers on the second 
floor, and one on the bottom floor. Be CAREFUL with these idiots! They 
tend to be VERY trigger-happy and will shoot at will.

One soldier will walk past you and access the machine on the right side 
of your area. Wait for the soldier to finish on the right side and then 
grab him when he walks away (or if you're quick enough, you can knock 
him out before he reaches the machine). 

Knock him out and leave him in the ventilation area. From there, one of 
you should standby and the other should take a left from the door and 
jump over the railing to the bottom. This SHOULD put you right next to 
the stairs leading to the bottom floor.


--OBJECTIVE: GET THE YONGBYON BLUEPRINTS

CO-OP #1: Go downstairs and make a hard left. Hug the walls until you 
reach the panel to SWITCH OBJECT. Press it to turn off the lights. 

CO-OP #2: When your buddy turns off the lights, eliminate the two 
soldiers patrolling the second floor. Trust me, its better that way!

Back to CO-OP #1: Now head over to the computer on the other side. 
Knock out the soldier down here and then hide the body. Access the 
computer to grab the floor plans. From there, exit the room using the 
door next to the stairs.

                   +++   AREA: SECURITY DOORS   +++


Enter the next room to see a soldier "sleeping" in his chair on the 
bottom floor. DO NOT attempt to sneak up behind him!


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE SECURITY DOOR COMPUTER
Make a left from the door you entered and you'll see a ventilation 
duct. One of you should enter the duct and the other should standby.

CO-OP #1: Enter the ventilation duct and exit to the bottom floor and 
standby. (There's another route here, ignore it.)

CO-OP #2: As your buddy emerges down, bust out the Pistol and shoot the 
only light in here to darken the whole room. Once it's dark, either 
enter the ventilation duct or jump over the railing to the bottom.

Back to CO-OP #1: Knock out the soldier in here and standby.

Back to CO-OP #2: There is a door that leads to an office down here. 
Use the OPTIC CABLE to see a soldier sitting across from you. Now open 
the door. If the soldier doesn't move, shoot out the light in the 
office and then take him out when he investigates.
If he does move when you open the door, wait for him to go outside and 
then take him out. Now access the computer in here and HACK it to open 
the security door on the top floor.


Across from where the soldier was sitting is a large metal gate that 
doesn't open. In front of it is a ladder. Climb that ladder to the top 
and enter the door with the GREEN LIGHT on top.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


              +++   AREA: SECURITY DOORS - LOWER AREA   +++


When you enter the door, you'll see a set of stairs going down and a 
ventilation duct next to it. Either route leads to the same area so use 
whichever one you like. But if you wanna do this the CO-OP way, follow 
this method:

Enter the ventilation duct and emerge on the other side. Bust out the 
Pistol and shoot out the light in front of you to darken this area. Hop 
over the railing and jump down and take out the soldier down here. 
You'll see two large windows for the security room. 
If you go near it, the Light Meter will go up and the guard will see 
you so be careful! Now for some complicated teamwork!


CO-OP #1: Crouch between the windows and use the BOOST move to toss 
your buddy up and standby. 

CO-OP #2: After the boost, shimmy a little to the right and then climb 
over. Shoot the nearby light by the TRAP DOOR and then open it. If the 
guard on the other side is startled by the sudden loss of light, snuff 
him out when he climbs the ladder to your area.

Now open the trapdoor and fall inside. Eliminate the guard sitting at 
the desk and then break open the glass window. Use the BOOST Move again 
to get to the top. Head to the TRAP DOOR (again) and hang down but DO 
NOT drop down! Call you buddy over.

Back to CO-OP #1: After your partner does all that mess, head over to 
him inside the office and use the HUMAN LADDER Move to climb up to the 
top ledge.


--OBJECTIVE: HEAD FOR THE TURBINE ROOM
To get to the next area, look down from the top ledge to see a pipe 
blocking the way, do you see it? Hop over the railing and land on top 
of it. Creep on the pipe to the metal gate and then climb over it.
OR you can just climb on the metal fence and then just shimmy the 
corner to the other side of the metal gate, same thing.

As you enter the well-lit area, there is a Med-Kit on the very right 
side and a ladder on the left. Heal up if you need to and then climb 
the ladder to the top. Jump to the pipe across from you and shimmy all 
the way to the other end of the room. Climb down and you'll see another 
pipe next to it. 


CO-OP #1: Use the BOOST Move to toss your buddy up. After that, climb 
the other pipe BACK to the ladder. Climb the ladder back down and head 
to the Med-Kit area and standby.

CO-OP #2: When your buddy tosses you to the top pipe, shimmy all the 
way to the top ledge. Drop down and then climb over to the ledge. Run 
down the walkway and use the INIT RAPPELLING option near one of the 
ledges and bring him up.

Back to CO-OP #1: Climb the rope your buddy tosses and climb up to the 
top. Enter the CRAWLSPACE up here and it's on to the next area. 

WHEW-WEE!!

              +++   AREA: TURBINE ROOM/RADIOACTIVE LAB   +++


--OBJECTIVE: ACCESS THE TURBINE COMPUTER
Exit the CRAWLSPACE and then bust out the Pistol and shoot the light 
here. The soldier upstairs will come down and investigate, so take him 
out so that this area will be soldier-free. Or don't.

There are two ways to enter the Turbine Room: you can take the stairs 
to the second floor and open the door OR you can enter the glass door 
on the bottom floor.

CO-OP #1: Enter the second floor door and eliminate whoever you can in 
the dark in the Turbine Room. There are three soldiers that patrol VERY 
slowly in this area so taking them out should be easy.

CO-OP #2: The glass door on the bottom floor leads to a room with HAZ-
MAT suits. Next to the HAZ-MAT suits is a ladder that leads up to the 
third floor. Climb the ladder up and then emerge out of the ventilation 
duct to see a soldier patrolling below. When he walks away, jump down, 
grab him when he's near the door (where it's dark), and knock him out. 
Now standby and let your partner do the next part.

CO-OP #1: After taking out the soldiers, head to the end of the Turbine 
room area to see a ladder in the center of the room. Climb it up and 
access the computer to turn off the Turbine fans. 
(You can also try using the yellow pipes to shimmy your way from above 
but it's not worth the risk.)
After you've turned off the fan, go to the third floor where your 
partner is waiting for you.

CO-OP #2: Once your buddy is on the third floor, use the TOMOE NAGE 
move and hurl him across the gap to the other side. From here, go down 
to the second floor and wait underneath the area where the turbine fans 
were just deactivated.

Back to CO-OP #1: After the TOMOE NAGE, knock out the immobile soldier 
here and head for the deactivated fans. Climb up the ledge where the 
fans are and the INIT RAPPELLING option will appear on the other side. 
Toss the rope down and let your buddy climb up.


Once both of you are there, head for the door and enter inside. Go down 
the corridor to another door that leads to a stairway. Open the door 
and shoot out both lights in that room to completely darken it. Snuff 
out the first soldier. Have your partner grab the other soldier and use 
his eyes for the RETINAL SCANNER to open the double doors.


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


                     +++   AREA: TURRET ROOM   +++


--OBJECTIVE: DEACTIVATE THE TURRET
Enter the double doors and use the Med-Kit if you need to. On the other 
side of the door, you can hear the turret waiting for you. 
Jump to the ventilation duct above the door and head up. You'll enter a 
room above the turret room with a TRAP DOOR. Open the TRAP DOOR and 
then shoot out the light to darken the room.

Use the INIT HANGOVER option and then lower your buddy slowly. When the 
guard comes in and investigates use the GRAB CHARACTER option to knock 
him out. Now this next part bothers me. Apparently, when you lower your 
partner, you are too far to hack the turret, so this is what I did:

Bring your partner back up and then both of you just jump down to the 
room. You'll lose 1% health but that's the only thing that was 
possible. Now deactivate the turret but DO NOT head outside the double 
doors! This next part is quite tricky so listen up!


-----------------------------------------------------------------------


             +++   AREA: CIRCULAR ROOM/ELEVATOR ROOM   +++


--OBJECTIVE: HEAD FOR THE ELEVATOR ROOM
Next to the turret is a set of shelves and a ventilation duct above it. 
Do you see it? One of you should enter it and the other should standby. 
Enter the ventilation duct and emerge on the other side.

Turn right and cross the small bar to the other ledge. Shoot out the 
lights up there and SLOWLY make your way around the circular room to 
the double doors on the end (but be careful because the sunlight from 
above is quite unforgiving). 
The timing in this section is impeccable, so be patient! Watch both 
guards as they circle the computers. When they turn, quickly jump down 
and quickly but quietly enter the next room. Now tell your partner to 
do the same thing and meet up in that room. 

You will see another soldier working on the elevator doors. Shoot out 
the light near him and then knock him out. Now stand across the open 
door and use the TOMOE NAGE move and toss your buddy to the other side.

CO-OP #1: After your buddy tosses you, climb the pipe to the top and 
then drop down and into the elevator. Shoot out both lights in the 
elevator and then access the elevator buttons and choose DOWN.

CO-OP #2: Standby and wait for your partner to lower the elevator. Once 
it's down, enter and then go UP to the next floor.

When the elevator door opens, the lone guard will stand up and 
investigate the broken lights in the elevator. Conk him and then 
continue through.

                    +++   AREA: UPPER LAB AREA   +++


Exit the room to the next one and then open the door at the end. You'll 
see a moving turret on the ceiling and a couple of lasers on the wall.


CO-OP #1: Crouch near the wall and then use the BOOST move to toss your 
buddy up. Wait for him to shimmy left and then use the OCP on the 
moving turret to stop it.

CO-OP #2: After you jump to the ledge, shimmy left until you are on top 
of the metal desk. Let your partner stop the turret with the OCP and 
then jump and quickly access the panel on the wall near the doors to 
turn off the lasers and then exit to the double doors before your 
partner's OCP runs dry. Now stay in the corner out of the turret's way 
and then use your OCP from your side and let your partner through.

Back to CO-OP #1: Once the lasers are disabled, un-equip the Pistol and 
wait for your partner to disable the turret with his OCP. Head over to 
his area.


In the next area, you'll see a sort of futuristic glass-type walkway 
with two guards. Grab the nearest one when the coast is clear and knock 
him out. Shoot out the lights in the walkway and then grab the next 
guard but DO NOT knock him out.

Bring him towards the double doors and use the RETINAL SCANNER and then 
knock him out. Enter the corridor to the next room.

                   +++   AREA: LOWER LAB AREA   +++


As you enter the room, you will see a set of stairs and a CRAWLSPACE 
across from you. Either route leads to the same place, so taking either 
one makes no difference.

Shoot out the light up here and then head towards the walkway. You'll 
see a large lab with a large sort of "office" in the middle. Around the 
"office" are two sets of lights on each wall. See them?
Shoot out all the lights on all four sides of this "office" to darken 
the entire lab. From there, you can take out the three soldiers and the 
two lab technicians.

++NOTE: In the bottom of the lab is a sort of secret underground path 
that leads absolutely nowhere. I suggest that you IGNORE this path 
because it is too brightly lit down there.

If possible, grab one soldier but DO NOT knock him out! Bring him 
towards the double doors and use him for the RETINAL SCANNER. Knock him 
out and then knock out the lab technician inside the "office". 


--OBJECTIVE: FIND OUT WHO HELPED KIM
Access the computer in the "office" to complete the Primary Objective. 
Once that's done, Lambert will give you the heads up to get the hell 
out of Dodge.

                         +++   EXTRACTION   +++


--OBJECTIVE: GET TO THE EXTRACTION POINT
It's time to bail outta there! Find the exit on the lower floor and 
make your way to the other door. You'll find a Med-Kit and hear a 
turret on the other side.

Open the door to see a set of lasers and a turret on the other side. 
WE'RE STUCK!!! WHAT NOW!!!??? Hold on, I'm not finished, goddamn it! 
First of all, shoot out whatever lights you can to darken the room.

CO-OP #1: Stand in front of the door and use the TOMOE NAGE move and 
hurl your partner to the other side and standby.

CO-OP #2: After your partner throws you, access the panel and use the 
SWITCH OBJECT option to turn off the lasers.

Back to CO-OP #1: After the lasers are disabled, use the OCP on the 
turret to stop it temporarily.

Back to CO-OP #2: While the turret is disabled, run up to it and fully 
disable it. Now bust out the Pistol and shoot out every light that you 
can. 


Across from you is a set of large glass doors. Use the BOOST Move to 
throw your buddy over the glass doors. Now whoever is on the other side 
should access the RETINAL SCANNER on the wall and HACK it to open the 
glass doors. From there, you'll see three guards wandering around.

Shoot out the remaining lights and then knock out each guard one by one 
in the dark. Once that's done, exit to the well-lit area to complete 
the mission!

I'd like to tell you some behind the scenes crap regarding this FAQ, if 
you have the time to read it.

The FAQ you just read was the VERY FIRST Chaos Theory FAQ to ever 
appear online. I originally intended this FAQ to be straightforward. 
I was only going to describe how to beat the game MY WAY. 
After a few other Chaos Theory FAQ's appeared online, I re-thought my 
plan. Not only was it unfair for me to limit the player's options but 
it was also selfish. 
There were SO many ways to accomplish things in this game that I just 
had to reveal them all. Why hide them?

This is ALSO the only FAQ online that gives EVERY route and option for 
both Co-Op AND Solo Mode. No other author is willing to make a XBOX/PC 
Co-Op guide for these reasons: No XBOX Live, No buddies who are 
competent enough, or simply too lazy.
