For developing strategies for Excursion, Tracks, Tilt Maze,
                    and Hierarchy.
Zack Dice is also going to help with the video walkthrough.

Important Stuff:

The Stop and Go Technique:
The technique in which you go up to a part in the level, then stop, wait for
something to happen, then go again, and repeat.

Diagonal Movement:
Moving from one platform across the extremely short yet extremely thin place
where it touches at a corner with another platform.

The Two-Direction Technique:
My Greatest Creation! Used to get across thin, curvy bridges. When the curve
leads to the left, use the directions forward, and forward-left. If you are
falling off to the right, tap forward-left, if you are falling off to the left,
tap forward. Do NOT tap right. Then when the bridge curves to the right, use the
directions forward, and forward-right. When you are falling off to the right,
use forward, when falling to the left, use forward-right. Do NOT use left. This
technique should get you across the bridge quickly, safely, and efficiently.
Make sure to only TAP the buttons, do not hold them down.

The Momentum and Centrifugal Force Technique:
Using the speed you have to keep yourself in a high enough position to stay
alive on a round slant.

Exact Timing Strategy: Holding a certain direction, then pausing at a certain
time, holding a different direction, then using the START BUTTON to unpause, and
repeating until you go through the Goal.

U-Turn Play Switch: Hit the play switch on the back of the starting platform.

The Freefall Tilt-Pivot Factor: Due to the fact that the pivot around which the
level tilts is you, when you are freefalling, your destination point is affected
more by early tilts than later ones.

Please note that in all challenges, it's understood that you must beat the level
to complete the challenges. I have done all of them, by the way, and I wouldn't
post them if I hadn't.

Go to http://www.geocities.com/notae500 to see my full list of challenges and
soon, my completion videos for all my challenges. I am also going to begin
working on a video walkthrough, which will be available for download. It will
include several replays for each level to help visual learners finish the game.

***BEGINNER***

These levels are mostly for newbies; any master at SMB2 wouldn't bother giving
these a second try.

1 - Plain: The one level you can't die on if you tried!

2 - Diamond: Go around the diamond.

2 - Diamond, *Warp*: Turn around and slowly go up the ramp behind you. Fall
straight down onto the platform below it, turn around and go through the
  green Goal

Live Dangerously - 5/10 - Sneak Attack: Get the Warp by falling through the
rhombic hole.

3 - Hairpin: Don't go too fast!

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - Derby: Do 5 laps of the track in 60 seconds. (A lap
includes going around BOTH curves.)

4 - Wide Bridge: Wait until the platform meets at a corner with the bridge, then
go as fast as possible across the bridge. You may be able to make it all the way
across, but if you can't, do the same thing to get onto the Goal platform.

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - Anxiety: Complete in under 8 seconds.

5 - Simple: Roll forward, get some bananas, go to the Goal. Simple as it gets!

6 - Hollow: Roll around the track and into the Goal.

Notae's Note: You can run full-blast toward the ramp, jump into the air and
finish faster by landing on the bridge connecting the circle to the Goal
platform.

7 - Bumpy: Go straight forward at full blast and maybe you'll get a bunch of
bananas, but slow down at the end as to not fly over the Goal.

8 - Switches: Roll onto the first switch to make the bridge go flat, avoid the
next switch and the hole after it and cruise through the Goal.

8 - Switches, *Warp*: If you hit the second switch the bridge will go
vertical. On the bottom of the bridge there is a green Goal. Go to the side
and with just enough speed, you will fly through the Goal, and jump to level
10, the first Bonus stage in the game.

Notae's Note (Warp): Make sure you realize that you can't drop in, because the
Goal is on its side. You have to soar in!

9 - Floaters: Weave around the boxes or go on top of them to get some bananas,
then go to the Goal.

10 - Bonus Basic, *Bonus*: The first Bonus Stage in the game! Quickly collect
the bananas in the outer square, then get the ones in the inner one. Then get
the middle one, and the far away one.

11 - Edge: Just take it slowly, but not too slowly. Go straight toward the Goal.

12 - Escalators: Go up the first Escalator, hit the fast-forward switch, go up
the second Escalator.

13 - Serpentine: Go slowly across the bridge, and speed up if you go for the
banana bunches.

14 - Swirl: You can either go around the swirl until you get to the Goal, or you
can go really fast and hop the wall, then turn around, thus getting to the Goal
sooner.

Notae's Note: If you hop the wall, make sure you only hop over 1 wall, otherwise
you are farther away from the Goal.

15 - Dormant Pits: You can either go straight for the Goal, or press the play
switch, causing the platform to twist so that you can get the banana bunches.

16 - Composition: Follow the line through the level.

17 - Dynamo: Circle around the small hexagon until you get out, then use the
same technique to climb up the bigger hexagon.

18 - Lunchbox: Go forward from the start and take the path on the left. Go down
this path on the right side until you get to a ramp. Go up this ramp, and the
next one, and through the Goal.

19 - Gutter: My recommendation is to ride on top of the left-most rail while
leaning toward the left, this way, you don't get a bump at the end.

Live Dangerously - 5/10 - Balance: Ride on top of the full length of one of the
beams excluding the leftmost one.

20 - Rising Inclines, *Bonus*: Roll around the stage collecting bananas until
you have about 5 seconds left, then just hurry up and go through the Goal.

21 - Slopes: You can either go down each slope, or you can jump off to the side,
bounce off the platform below and land on the lowest one, so you only have to go
down one slope.

Live Dangerously - 5/10 - You're not kidding?: Touch all 5 slopes, the starting
platform, and the Goal platform, but nothing else!

22 - Steps: Simply get a small running start for each slope.

23 - Blocks: Wait for the blocks to expand, then get onto the first one. Wait
for them to retract, and go onto the far one. Wait for them to expand, and go
through the Goal.

24 - Jump Single: Go to the big red arrow, and roll down the ramp at that place,
hit the block, and jump across the gap to the Goal platform.

25 - Exam-A: The path is completely straightforward. Just don't take it too fast
and take it very slowly on the curvy bridge.

26 - Tub: go past the jumps and up the ramps to the Goal.

27 - Sliders: Make sure to hold back when going down most of the ramps as to not
fall off.

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - Long Jump: Jump from the end of the first slider
straight to the Goal.

Glitch: In story mode, the names of this level and Expert 44 (Windy Slide) are
switched.

28 - Spinning Top: You should notice that the top is only able to hit you in one
place. Go around that place and go to the Goal.

Notae's Note: The bananas aren't as hard to get as they look, you just need to
get close to the top without hitting it.

29 - Curve Bridge: Make it slowly across the level because the turns get sharper
as you go. At the end, go to the end of the first plank and wait until they line
up to go.

30 - Scabrous, *Bonus*: Do the same as in Bonus Basic, except when you do the
inside ring, get the 2 "out of place" bananas and banana bunches.

31 - Jolt Channel: Always try to keep moving, and if there's a choice, choose
left over right.

Notae's Note: This is a braid maze, so no matter which way you go, you won't hit
a dead end.

32 - Inertial: Wait for the Goal to extend and move more slowly, then break the
ribbon.

33 - Octagonal: Go left and follow the perimeter around the level, watch out for
holes.

34 - Sewer: Go into the tunnel on he right, turn left, and then follow the path
to the Goal.

35 - Arc Bridges: Go across the arcs as quickly as possible, and take the left
arc at the end.

36 - Veer Field: Turn to the right and fall off the edge onto a lower level,
then bounce over the next edge onto another level. Then turn left and follow the
bridge around to the Goal

37 - Teeter: Roll up the ramp and onto the first seesaw. Follow the swerving
track and get onto the next seesaw. Get a little speed and run across the tops
of the raised diamonds onto the next seesaw, where you should swerve around the
holes to eventually reach the Goal.

38 - Stream: Take the path to the right, and let the current move you down to an
intersection where you should turn left, then go toward the Goal.

39 - Catwalk: As Always, I suggest you take the wider left path as to survive.
Even though the bridges get thinner, there's a tiny ridge that your ball will
rest in if you line up straight. This ridge will guide you across the path. Make
sure you don't go too fast at the end, or you will hit the Goal and bounce off.

40 - Catapult: Roll onto the ramp and wait for the catapult to shoot you up.
Then guide your monkey onto the ramp that leads to the Goal and you have beaten
Beginner!

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - Geology: Hit the rocks used in the background.

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - Hop: Go through the Goal backwards.

***BEGINNER EXTRA***

If you were able to complete Beginner without losing a continue, you get to play
the Extra stages. They're a little harder, but on Beginner, they're still really
easy. Good luck.

Ex1 - Blur Bridge: You can get onto one platform, ride it to the edge, then go
straight as the platforms appear in front of you, or you can take a
semi-diagonal route across the middle of the stage for a better time.

Ex2 - Hitter: You can go right away and get a good time, but risk dying, or you
can wait until the clock says 26, when the Goal will slow down, to go through.

Ex3 - AV Logo: Go onto the logo, and take a path between the "a" and the "v",
make a hairpin turn to the right and go through the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Pure V: Go around the right side of the "v".

Ex4 - Rhombus: Try to go as straight as possible through the stage

Ex5 - Buoy: Wait for the buoy to sink into the ground then get on an break the
ribbon.

Ex6 - Conveyers: Hold up the whole time.

Ex7 - Bumpy Check: Go around the outside.

Ex8 - Alternative: Watch out for the fast forward switch and alternate between
platforms to get to the Goal.

Ex9 - Junction: Make your way across the slope and go through the Goal.

Ex9 - Junction, *Warp*: Go to the end of the starting platform and face
backwards. Go straight at full blast and use the ramp provided to jump on to
the back track. Then follow original directions.

Ex10 - Bead Screen: Wait until all the platforms line up and press the pause
switch. Then go down the staircase and through the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - High Flying: Try to complete the level without
pressing the pause switch!

Ex11 - Coil Ramp: You can go around the entire ramp, or fall off to the right
a couple times to get to the lower levels and get a better time.

Ex12 - Millefeuille: Assuming this diagram is the stage, follow the directions:

S = Start, G = Goal.

  _____
 |>>>>V|
 |^G V|
 |^^<<<|
 |^ |
 |^ |
  -----
S

Ex13 - Waver: Use each individual wave as a half pipe, so you can keep your
speed high enough to get over the next wave.

Ex14 - Fat Seesaw: Just try to go as fast as possible, the seesaw should balance
out.

Ex15 - Treads: You can go all the way around, but you'll have to do it quickly,
or you can fall off to the left and land on a lower level, in which case you can
take your sweet sweet time.

Ex16 - Fluctuation: Weave around the boxes until you get to the Goal, then wait
until one of the boxes move to let you through.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Nonstop1: Finish in under 10 seconds.

Ex17 - Folders: Go along the railings on the side until you get to the end, then
wait for the Goal to flip up and bolt through it.

Ex18 - Quick Turn: Hold up the whole time and watch in awe as your monkey passes
all seven rolling triangles and cruises through the Goal unharmed. Wow!

Ex19 - Linear Seesaws: Bolt past the first two and ease to one side to get past
the last one then slow down and go through the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 10/10 - Lesser Known Parts: Ride along the outside frame of
the level.

Ex20 - Birth: Go forward and turn right, follow that path until you reach a
pause button. Hit it and go back down to the intersection and turn right. Go up
the hill and across the ramp with the cubes on it and into the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Where's the Remote?: Complete with the FF switch
pressed.

***ADVANCED***

The Advanced stages are considerably harder than Beginner and Beginner Extra.
Some of these levels are really quite challenging. (i.e. Launchers, and
Arthropod).

1 - Bump: Hold forward the whole time.

2 - Walking: Go forward over the hills, then bounce off the walls through the
bush-like objects. Go past the bumpers, hop the gap and through the Goal.

3 - Repulse: Go onto the first platform, wait for them to cross, then switch to
the second one.

Notae's Note: You can get a faster clear by going quickly to the left side, then
using the little ledge on the side of the moving platform to hop the gap and
land on the second one.

4 - Narrow Bridge: Wait until the platform meets at a corner with the bridge,
then go as fast as possible across the bridge. You may be able to make it all
the way across, but if you can't, do the same thing to get onto the Goal
platform.

Notae's Note: There's no ledge on this bridge, as in Wide Bridge, so be careful!

5 - Break: Run as fast as you can to either side, up the hill and through the
Goal.

5 - Break, *Warp*: Just as in diamond, slowly fall off the back ramp onto the
  lower platform.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - Backup Goal: Get the Warp by falling through the
rhombic hole.

6 - Curves: You can follow the entire path around, or there are 2 shortcuts
where the paths come really close together that you can take.

7 - Downhill: Go down as fast as you can, but don't hit the corners of the
walls, otherwise you will bounce off.

8 - Blocks Slim: Get onto the first block, wait, go around to the other side,
wait, break the ribbon.

9 - Choice: Take the leftmost path across the guitar, slow down at the end,
then climb the slope to the right.

9 - Choice, *Warp*: Take the rightmost path, but go quickly to avoid the ramp.

Glitch: There is a ramp that slowly moves up and blocks off the thinner paths
eventually. The ramp moves at different speeds every time you try the level.

10 - Bonus Wave, *Bonus*: Run around the first ring and get all of its bananas,
then go to the second ring with bigger waves and get the rest.

11 - Jump Ramp: Run as fast as you can towards the small bump on the left, then
jump onto to the right side, then jump from the right to the left, then repeat.

12 - Hounds Tooth: Hold forward and straighten yourself out so that you are
always headed for the Goal.

13 - D.N.A.: Go around the spiral staircase and through the Goal.

13 - D.N.A., *Warp*: Run as fast as you can towards the wall on the edge of
the starting platform and try to bounce over the wall, then follow the
  staircase down the other side.

Notae's Note (Warp): Instead of hitting the wall, you can roll off the edge of
the second step then hold back.

14 - Building: Roll up the ramp, roll around the border, repeat.

Notae's Note: The track gets thinner as you progress.

15 - Scrolls: Use the momentum and centrifugal force technique to keep you on
the round parts of the track.

16 - Cliff: Just take it slow and always lean toward the wall.

17 - Concentric: Use the round gaps to gain speed and hit the end bump to hop
over to the next level, then repeat.

18 - Stadium: Go straight backward up the orange beam, turn around, run toward
the Goal platform, ease to one side, and use the bumps to propel you into the
air and onto the Goal platform.

19 - Dungeon: Assuming that your starting direction is north: First head North
until there is a giant hole to your right. Hop across the south-west corner of
this hole without hitting the wall. Then head North, and follow the track around
until there are three paths heading west. Take the second one, go up the ramps
and break the ribbon.

20 - Bonus Grid, *Bonus*: Quickly go through each row diagonally.

21 - Banks: Go carefully across the track, or, if you're really impatient, you
can go across the tiny gaps where the tracks touch.

22 - Eaten Floor: Go around the left side of the triangle and go through the
Goal.

23 - Hoppers: U-Turn play switch, then go across making sure you don't get hit.

24 - Coaster: Get into the tunnel and hold down left the whole time, but if you
can't wait that long, hold left or even up-left.

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - The Other Side: Try to ride all the way down on the
outside of the tube!

25 - Swell: Go across the bridge carefully and keep yourself on by pressing the
opposite direction from the bank.

26 - Gravity Slider: Two ways to complete this. You can hold up the whole time
or you can go for the bananas.

27 - Inchworms: U-Turn play switch, then go across the first inchworm.

27 - Inchworms, *Warp*: Go across the second inchworm, which is a bit faster
  than the first.

27 - Inchworms, *Second Warp*: The last inchworm is much faster than the
last two, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Make sure you hit the play switch.

28 - Totalitarianism: U-Turn play switch, then quickly make your way through
until a wide space between the pillars, wait here until the rings fall. When
they start to rise, make your way to the Goal.

29 - Organic Form: U-Turn play switch, then carefully make your way through the
center of the bridge.

30 - Board Park, *Bonus*: Another Bonus stage which is a souped-up version of
Rising Inclines. Hold up and go across the first bridge. To get the bunch of
bananas on the lower bridge, go down below the first and go straight at the bump
in front of it to jump on.

31 - Bowl: Go into the bowl, run around and go through the goal.

Live Dangerously - 2/10 - Straightforward: Complete it without doing a lap
around the bowl.

32 - Jumpies: Use the first two to get higher on the level, then use the last
one to propel you into the Goal. Don't hit the party ball!

Notae's Note: I find it easier to use the last one as a ramp rather than a
propulsion device.

33 - Stoppers: The spokes on this level move according to which way you tilt the
level. Go around the outside by pushing them toward the middle, or go through
the inside by moving it back and forth until there's a space.

34 - Floor Bent: Always lean away from the edge of the stage, especially near
the end where the slant is more intense.

35 - Conveyer: The direction of the conveyers alternates, so adjust your speed
accordingly.

Live Dangerously - 3/10 - Friction: Use only the left conveyers.

36 - Exam-B: A souped-up version of Exam-A, the path is still straightforward,
you should still not take it too fast, and you should still take it very slowly
on the curvy platform.

Notae's Note: There's a shortcut: After climbing the slope, turn right and go
across one of the two beams. Then drop off the edge and with just enough speed,
you can land right on the Goal platform.

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - Not so Short: Take the shortcut twice.

37 - Chaser: If you think you can make it, you can run around the clef and try
to catch up, but I recommend falling off to the right, and waiting for the Goal
to swing by.

37 - Chaser, *Warp*: A faster Goal, use the same technique.

37 - Chaser, *Second Warp*: An even faster Goal, you almost HAVE to use the
    shortcut.

38 - Jump Double: Use the first jump as you would in Jump Single, then roll
around and avoid the bumpers as you go to do the second one.

Notae's Note: If you roll backward-right, you can land on the bridge connecting
the first and second jumps, thus taking a shortcut and skipping the first jump.

39 - Middle Jam: Get onto the bridge between two bumpers and follow at the same
speed as them. When you get to the center, be very careful, as it's very
crowded, then turn left into the open area and beat the level.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - Lap: Do a lap around the first square.

40 - Leveler, *Bonus*: Be careful not to fall between the square holes and make
your way around the level in a clockwise spiral. Oh yeah, HEADS UP!

41 - Reversible Gear: Go to the center platform and go to the second corner to
the left and wait there until the gear stops. Quickly make your way to center
and go through the Goal.

42 - Stepping Stones: Go on the left side of the level and carefully make your
way to the Goal.

43 - Dribbles: U-Turn play switch and make your way to the first dribble. Wait
until it hits the ground before going past it. Use this pattern to make your way
to the Goal.

Notae's Note: Watch out because one of them is REALLY BIG! You'll have to stand
back for that one!

44 - U.R.L.: Go to the end of the starting platform and wait for the block to
recede to the left. Quickly get on the upper platform and to the right hand side
of it in the little notch coming out of it. Wait for the block to go to the left
again and quickly bolt towards the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - Surfing the Net: (Thank you Zack Dice) Ride on top of
the black box for at least 0.5 seconds.

45 - Mad Rings: Hold up the whole time and slow down near the end to cruise
through the Goal.

45 - Mad Rings, *Warp*: Hold up the whole time until you reach the platform
with the blue Goal on it. Then ease to the left and land on the next platform
and stop. Carefully time your leap to the next platform and make sure you
  don't miss the Goal.

45 - Mad Rings, *Second Warp*: The final ring is so fast as to be completely
random whether or not you make it. I don't recommend taking this path.

Notae's Note: If you wait 1.5 seconds at the start, then hold forward, you can
make it all the way to the last platform if you dodge the Goal and the Warp. The
hard part is slowing down to get through it.

46 - Curvy Options: I suggest taking the easy route because you only get around
three bananas for taking the others that are possible.

47 - Twister: Wait until the squares line up at forty-five degrees then floor it
and hope for the best.

Glitch: In story mode, the name of this level and Expert 64 (Twist & Spin) are
switched.

48 - Cascade: Take it slowly down the staircase and carefully down the ramps.
Be warned that the circles get thinner and the ramps get steeper as you go
along.

49 - Pro Skaters: These skaters are not actually skaters, they're Goals! Anyway,
hit the pause button when the first skater is roughly in the center. If it isn't
in the center, DON'T FALL DOWN TO THE HALF PIPE, stay on the starting platform
and hit the play switch. Repeat until it is in the center and THEN fall down to
the half pipe and break the ribbon suspended on this... thing...

49 - Pro Skaters, *Warp*: You can't freeze the second skater, which makes it
  EXTREMELY HARD.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Freeze Frame: Freeze the first skater in the air, then
use the second skater to propel you into the air and break the ribbon on the
first skater.

50 - Rampage, *Bonus*: My strategy is to get only the bunches of bananas in the
corners of the jumps then break that pretty blue ribbon.

51 - Ant Lion: Use the momentum and centrifugal force technique to get around
the level.

52 - Collapse: Make you way diagonally across the grid-like holes in the ground.
Once through them, go around the left edge of the level until there is a slope.
Go down the slope and past the square holes in the ground, up the slope and
across one of two beams, then follow the track around to the Goal.

53 - Swing Bar: Make your way as fast as you can across the bridge, and hold the
uphill direction whenever necessary.

54 - Labyrinth: First go around the path of bumpers, avoid the pillars,
go around the ramps with a bumper between them, and go up the slope. Now you
should be in front of some blocks that move when you tilt the stage. Weave
through them, go through the hills and (hopefully) jump into the Goal.

54 - Labyrinth, *Warp*: Bypass the Goal, and go to the left. Traverse the beam
of your choice, go over the domes and Complete the Warp Goal.

Notae's Note (Warp): There's a shortcut you can take to get right from the
beginning to the end. Run as fast as you can towards the gap behind the bumper,
and use it to hop the wall.

Notae's Note: You can also use that shortcut to get to the regular Goal, by
bypassing the Warp, going across the domes and the beam of your choice, then
continuing along to the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - Uselessness: Take the shortcut twice.

55 - Spiral: Roll around the level using the momentum and centrifugal force
technique.

Notae's Note: For an easier clear, roll forward at the start and fall off to the
left at approximately 56.75, then steer yourself into the Goal.

56 - Wavy Jump: Roll forward down the ramp, jump, ease to one side, jump again,
ease back to the center, and beat it. Never slow down.

57 - Spiky: Use the stop and go technique, stopping between the spikes that are
crossing the platform.

58 - Unrest: Go across the platforms when they line up, and lean against the
slope when they're not.

59 - Polar: Turn a bit to the right until you line up with a moving platform,
then keep going as the platforms pass in front of you. Watch out for bumpers!

60 - Paraboloid, *Bonus*: If you go to one corner and run diagonally across the
stage toward the other side, you should be able to get the bunches of bananas.

61 - Giant Comb: THIS IS WHY I USE A BRUSH! Anyway, carefully use the stop and
go technique and spend the least amount of time possible on the strangely
coloured lines on the ground because that's where the teeth can hit you.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - NonStop2: Finish in under 10 seconds without using the
stop and go technique

Live Dangerously - 10/10 - Live Very Dangerously: Hit the outermost tooth of the
comb.

62 - Beehive: Go around the outside if you want to survive.

63 - Dynamic Maze: Go around the outside on the left side for the fastest route.

64 - Triangle Holes: Hold up the whole time.

65 - Launchers: WARNING: VERY HARD! Put the map on medium zoom, then drop down
to the bottom platform. Once there, stand in front of one of the launchers. Once
you get launched, use the map to position yourself above the top of the pillar.
Zoom in on the map so you can easily fall into the Goal.

65 - Launchers, *Warp*: On the bottom of that platform there's a green Goal.
Of course, I'm not going to explain how to get it because it's pure luck. Done
  and done.

Notae's Note: This level lives off of practice so make sure you feed it,
otherwise it'll get angry and it won't let you beat it.

Live Dangerously - 2/10 - Direct: Complete the regular Goal without landing on
the top of the pillar.

66 - Randomizer: Don't go too fast.

  66 - Randomizer, *Warp*: Experiment

66 - Randomizer, *Second Warp*: See last

67 - Coin Slots: Roll to the slots near the end and wait for a Goal to drop
down, then bolt through it

67 - Coin Slots *Warp*: The first coin contains the green Goal, so run fast!

Notae's Note (Warp): (Thank you Matt Vitale) There is an exact timing strategy,
if you pause between 57.05-57.00 then hold up, then unpause, you should go
through the green Goal.

68 - Seesaw Bridges: Follow the path to the first seesaw. If you get on the
right side of the seesaw, go to the left of the barrel (or vice versa) and
weave left and right of them. On the second, start on the left and follow the
path as fast as you can. On the third, do the same as the first one, only it's
three or five barrels to weave around, so run fast!

69 - Arthropod: WARNING: VERY HARD! There are many strategies but I prefer this
one. First, the hard part, get to the last ring. Second, the not so hard part,
try to stay in the middle of this ring without getting stepped on. Third, the
easy part, go through the Goal when possible.

Notae's Note: This one also needs practice, otherwise you will never make it
through the Goal when it's important!

Notae's Note: (Yes, two notes, it's a hard level!) There is also an exact timing
strategy, if you pause the game between 41.18 and 41.08, hold up, unpause, then
pause again between 36.26 and 36.16, hold up-left, then press start, you'll go
straight through the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Angled, Luckily: Fall off the last ring and land in
the Goal while it's near the bottom, going through it backwards.

70 - Spatiotemporal: Wait until the clock hits 50 seconds, then go as fast as
you can through the wormhole, across the bridge and into the Goal (don't miss
it!)

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - 360: Go onto the bridge and stay on until it has
completed a full rotation.

Live Dangerously - 9/10 - 720: Go onto the bridge and stay on until it has
completed 2 full rotations.

Live Dangerously - 10/10 - 1080: Go onto the bridge and stay on until it has
completed 3 full rotations, should I keep counting?

***ADVANCED EXTRA***

So, you finally completed the Advanced stage. Congratulations, but you'll have
to do it without continuing to make it to the Advanced Extra.

Ex1 - Blur Bridge: You can get onto one platform, ride it to the edge, then go
straight as the platforms appear in front of you, or you can take a
semi-diagonal route across the middle of the stage for a better time.

Ex2 - Hard Hitter: This one's bigger and faster than Hitter. You can go right
away and get a good time, but risk dying, or you can wait until the clock says
26, when the Goal will slow down, to go through.

Ex3 - Puzzle: Run forward at full blast and hop the gap, then turn right, and
follow the path as fast as you can (while slowing at corners) to get to the
Goal.

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - Double or Nothing: Hop two gaps at the start.

Ex4 - AV Logo: Go onto the logo, and take a path between the "a" and the "v",
make a hairpin turn to the right and go through the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Pure V: Go around the right side of the "v".

Ex5 - Polar Large: A souped-up version of Polar. Go straight and follow the path
of platforms that will form in front of you. When you get near the end, go to
the big platform's axis is, then go across when it is horizontal. Follow the
outside of the border toward the Goal as to not get hit by the big platform.

Ex6 - Auto Doors: U-turn, play switch. You shouldn't have a problem with
anything except maybe the last two. Where the doors meet in the center, there is
a little notch you can roll your ball into. If you hold up when in this notch,
you'll make it through when the door opens.

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - Knock Knock: Complete it without pressing the play
switch.

Ex7 - Heavy Sphere: Roll forward and hit the play switch, then, go backward to
the ramp at the back, build up some speed, and go across the bending platform as
fast as possible, don't miss the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 2/10 - Temptation: Touch the heavy sphere.

Ex8 - Stagger: You'll have to be quick for this one. Stop until the pentagons
are lined up, then quickly make a transfer. Repeat. The triangles are harder
because they're smaller.

Ex9 - U.F.O.: This one still confuses me a little bit. Anyway, drop into the
hole, then hit the play switch wait until the U.F.O. flips, then find your way
to the Goal, quickly.

Live Dangerously - 9/10 - Circling the Drain: Complete without touching the play
switch.

Ex10 - Ring Bridges: Three things you must know: You can only fall downward
(duh), you can't use the lip as a jump, and DON'T HIT THE LIP ON THE LOWER RING
OR YOU'LL DIE A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DEATH!!!

Live Dangerously - 10/10 - NonStop3: Try to beat it without slowing down! You'll
have to bounce into the Goal!

Ex11 - Chaos: R = Right, L = Left, S = Straight, H = Hairpin Turn. Go quickly:
RLLSRSRSRLLLLRLRLHRLSRR.

Ex12 - Tilt Maze: This maze is on a tilt toward the Goal, so beware. Only go
backward or to the left when you absolutely have to, and follow the rightmost
path.

Notae's Note: (Thank you Zack Dice) If you go to the back corner of the starting
platform, then run forward at the maze, you should bounce all the way to the
end. Just make sure that on your last bounce you hold back to avoid falling off.

Ex13 - Fractal: Go quickly across the left edge of the large triangle and
eventually make your way to the Goal.

Ex14 - Hills: Climb the lowest hill and go to the corner farthest away from the
next highest. Run full speed toward the next hill and climb up. Repeat for the
next hill.

Ex14 - Hills, *Warp*: Try to do the same to get to the highest hill.

Ex15 - Dodge Maze: The walls with red marks on them are movable. Go to the left
path and hit the first red wall you see. Go forward left and hit another wall.
Keep going through this path until there is a red wall on your right, then go
through it. Then go forward-left through this area until you can move another
red wall. Go forward-left again through another red wall. Go forward a bit, then
turn right into a path with 2 red walls right beside each other. Pass these and
go through the zigzag path, make a hairpin turn, go through another zigzag path,
make another hairpin turn, and go forward until there is another red wall on
your right, move it, go forward-right, move 3 walls and go through the Goal.

Ex16 - Domes: You can go fast and die over and over, or you can slow down, die
rarely, but get frustrated when you do, your choice!

Ex17 - Amida lot: Go to the edge of the starting platform in front of the first
line to your right, wait for a bumper to rest at the end of this line, and get
on the platform. Run down this line quickly and turn left at the end. DON'T GO
ONTO THE OTHER LINE. Wait for the Goal to come, then break the ribbon

Ex18 - Long Slider: Make sure you lean back-left the whole time.

Notae's Note: If you go closer to the right edge, you won't bounce as far.

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - Freefall1: Fall straight from the starting platform to
the Goal.

Ex19 - Grid Bridge: Stay as close to the center as possible and make sure you
follow SMB2's physics.

Ex20 - Teapot: Two ways to beat this: You can fall down and hope the box lands
on you (requires luck), or you can wait for the box to fall, then jump into it
(requires speed).

***EXPERT***

Uh-oh. Now we get into the real challenges. In here you will find many levels as
hard as Launchers and Arthropod combined. Always make sure you know everything
about the stage that you can before you start.

1 - Ruin: Hold forward the whole time.

2 - Branch: Roll forward and traverse the narrow beam on the left.

2 - Branch, *Second Warp*: The first warp is nowhere to be seen... Traverse
the inclined beam on the right instead. Be sure you are completely stopped
before making the 90 degree turn.

3 - Overturn: Roll onto the top of the platform when it lines up and quickly go
through the Goal.

3 - Overturn, *Warp*: On the bottom of the platform is the Warp. It doesn't
stop at all, so you'll have to be quick!

4 - Excursion: First go around the path and up the hills. Wait for the platform
to come to you, get on, wait for the next, then wait for it to reach the other
side. Now get on the revolving platform and ride it to the other side. Jump over
the gap and the bump, up the slope, and carefully slip past through the tight
spaces between the bumpers. Then use the two-direction technique to get across
the thin bridge.

Notae's Note: (Thank you Zack Dice) There is a huge shortcut that lets you skip
the entire level. Take the first right turn, then before you take the following
left, turn all the way around 180 degrees. Roll as fast as you can towards the
point as close to the high railings as possible without hitting them, and use
the small lip on the edge of the level to bounce onto the Goal platform.

5 - Dodecagon: Get on the 2x2 platform and ride it over until it reaches the
other 7 platforms, then ride this bigger platform to the center where 7 more big
platforms will meet. Quickly run around to the opposite platform, ride it until
it splits into 8 pieces, ride that small one, then go through the Goal.

6 - Exam-C: A cut-back version of Exam-B, with a longer, thinner curvy bridge.
First run across the slope, then turn right, get some speed and go over the
narrow peak. Turn right again, go down the stairs (make sure you slow down at
the end!). Turn left and go across the small holes, either by using diagonal
move, or speed. I prefer a combination, assume you starting position is North.
Line yourself along the line between the second and third row of squares from
the North, facing east (toward the blocks). Rush forward then stay between the 2
rows and slow down at the end. Now comes the hard part. To get across the curvy
bridge, use my two-direction technique.

7 - Skeleton: A cut-back version of Slopes, use the same technique as you would
on Slopes, but watch out for the holes in the floors and line yourself up
correctly with the thinner slopes.

Live Dangerously - 10/10 - You have got to be Kidding!: Touch all 5 slopes, the
starting platform, and the Goal platform, but nothing else!

8 - Tracks: Take the outside track and use the two-direction technique to get
around.

Notae's Note: (Thank you Zack Dice) There's a huge shortcut that lets you skip
the entire level. Run up the ramp leading to the "0.5" track, but don't drop
down, run across the tops of the ramps and veer to the left to bounce off the
small ledge between the "0.1" and "0.2" tracks. If you manage to bounce off of
it, try to guide yourself over the wall separating you from the Goal.

9 - Downhill Hard: A souped-up version of Downhill, you have to go slowly and
try to remember where you have to go next. Some of these spaces are pretty
tight!

10 - Bonus Bumpy, *Bonus*: Go around the stage in a spiral and try not to miss
any.

11 - Wormhole: The only part of this level that poses a threat is the last thin
pathway. The whole path is straightforward.

12 - Free Fall: Roll onto the extremely thin pathway and use the map to position
yourself above the circle below the thin pathway. Fall off of the thin pathway
onto the circle, then roll across another thin pathway to the Goal.

12 - Free Fall, *Warp*: Instead of rolling all the way across the second thin
pathway, fall off when you're above the smaller circle below this thin
pathway. Roll across ANOTHER thin pathway to the green Goal.

Live Dangerously - 5/10 - A Freer Freefall: Fall straight from the starting
platform to the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 5/10 - An Even Freer Freefall: Fall straight from the
starting platform to the green Goal.

13 - Melting Pot: Move into the box ASAP to ensure the fact that you make it
into it, then be always leaning toward the Goal. Move quickly because you only
have 30 seconds.

14 - Mad Shuffle: Instead of U-turning to the play switch, go behind the first
wormhole to do it. If you do this quickly, you'll get through the wormhole just
as the direction changes. When this happens, get on the left pillar before it
rises and bolt down the path, staying on the left side, and you shouldn't have
to worry about the direction changing again.

Notae's Note: If you don't get through fast enough and the pillars do three
rotations, make sure you switch sides before you get knocked off.

15 - Jump Machine: Assume your starting direction is North. Get onto the
launcher at South by South-West. Get hit and land on the South platform.

15 - Jump machine, *Warp*: Instead of going through the Goal, jump again and
go west to land on another platform with a green Goal.

15 - Jump machine, *Second Warp*: Instead of going through that Goal, jump
again and go the center of the machine to find the red Goal.

16 - Zigzag Slope: Keep a constant speed and always stay as close to the center
as possible. The right side is steeper than the left.

17 - Tower: Run into the wormhole and slowly fall off the edge of the new
platform onto another platform and lean against the slope. Fall off of this
platform onto yet another, go down slowly and drop in the center into the Goal.

18 - Toggle: When the bars are perpendicular, rush toward the left side. Then,
try to bounce over the bars as they try to push you to the left.

Notae's Note: Don't use the stop and go technique.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - On the Contrary: Use the stop and go technique.

19 - Combination: Warp through the wormhole, make a quick U-turn, hit the play
switch, and warp again. If you did it fast enough, the Goal will be on the
opposite side of the level, if not wait until it is. When it is, get on the
opposite set of squares, wait for them to rotate, then the Goal should be in
front of you.

20 - Bonus Hunting, *Bonus*: Run down the slope as fast as you can and jump off
toward the running bananas. Get one row, then stop and let another row get you,
then go through the Goal.

21 - Gears: Get onto the first gear and ride it to the other side, then transfer
to the next gear, repeat until you get to the Goal.

Notae's Note: You can also run along the narrow pathways connecting the teeth of
the gears to go faster.

Live Dangerously - 3/10 - Wrong Way: Go across the narrow pathways separating
the teeth backwards.

22 - Destruction: A cut-back version of Collapse. First make your way diagonally
through the grid-like holes toward the left side. Hop the small gap here, then
move to the other side and hop another small gap. Go around the border until you
get to a slope. Go down this slope and past the square holes, up another slope
and turn right. Follow the outside beam and use a little speed to hop the gap at
the end. Follow this path around, then use diagonal move to get from the first
thin pathway to the next. Go through the Goal and your done.

23 - Invasion: First go straight through the first three bumpers, then follow
the bumpers clockwise around the small square. Wait for the first bumper at the
next obstacle to move left, get on, wait for the next to move right, then
continue. Go between the two bumpers on either side of you. Then get across the
extremely thin area between hitting the bumpers and falling off, go across the
extremely thin bridge, and through the Goal.

24 - Diving: Hold forward the whole time.

25 - Floor Slant: Go to the end of the thin bridge, and use diagonal move to get
to the middle, then again to get to the other side. Slow down and break the
ribbon.

26 - Tram: Wait for the bumpers to pass, then go out, move forward, and go back
in on the next segment before the next bumpers come. Repeat until you get to the
last segment.

Notae's Note: In case you didn't know, the giant circles are moving, not the
segmented rectangle.

27 - Swing Bar Long: A souped-up version of Swing Bar. Go quickly across the bar
until it starts to turn, then go to the upper side and hold the upper direction
to avoid falling off, then speed up again and repeat.

28 - Paper Work: Follow the path down to the center, then make your way up the
other side. Be careful as to not fall off!

29 - Twin Attacker: A cut-back version of spiky. Go across the thin pathway, and
when the attacker comes near, ease slightly to the opposite side as to not get
knocked off.

30 - Partition, *Bonus*: This is not the most profitable Bonus round, much like
the rest from this point, but it is pretty cool. Get to the other segment using
the wormhole provided (Batteries included).

31 - Punched Seesaws: Don't take this one too fast or too slow. Keep a moderate
speed throughout. Weave through the holes as to not tip the seesaw.

31 - Punched Seesaws, *Warp*: Pass the Goal. Be careful getting onto the next
seesaw. Traverse the seesaw exactly the same as the last.

Live Dangerously - 2/10 - 5-a-side: Pick a side and pass all 5 holes on that
side without crossing to the other side!

32 - Opera: Go as fast as you can keeping as close to the center as possible on
the first two, then, slow down on the last two and don't bounce too high!

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - DIVE, DIVE, DIVE!!!: Don't go around the last
staircase.

33 - Brandished: Go extremely close to the giant needle and find out where it
swung last. Stand just outside of this area and hope for the best.

Notae's Note: The giant needle doesn't swing in the same spot over and over, it
changes the distance.

34 - Tiers: Hop down to the fourth or fifth tier and traverse the leaning track
toward the Goal.

34 - Tiers, *Warp*: Hop down to the second or third tier and traverse the
  leaning track toward the Goal.

34 - Tiers, *Second Warp*: Follow the near impossible path leading from the
tier with the wormhole on it.

35 - Cliffs: Roll onto the first trapezoidal block and face the slope in the
direct center. Roll down and hit the ledge in the center. Slow yourself down
when you reach the other block. Lather, Rinse, and Repeat.

Notae's Note: Be careful because the ledges get smaller near the end.

36 - Narrow Peaks: Go to the middle platform. If you aren't good at narrow
paths, go left. If you are, go to the right and get some bananas. Beware the
ever-narrowing peaks!

37 - Detour: Roll onto the impressively large slope, through the wormhole, and
through the Goal.

37 - Detour, *Warp*: Run through the wormhole on the impressively large slope,
bounce off of an impressively large block, make an impressively large jump,
and soar through the Goal without hesitation.

Live Dangerously - 1/10 - Scenic: Come to rest on the impressively large block.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - Not so Impressive: Go through the Warp without hitting
the impressively large block!

Live Dangerously - 10/10 - Another Detour: Go through the wormhole backwards!

Glitch: The wormhole in this level works on both sides. If you go into the back
of one of the wormholes, you'll come out the back of the other.

38 - Switch Inferno: AAAAAGGGHHH!!! Below is a diagram of the far right corner.
Hit the Switch marked "X" and then go through the Goal.
   ____
    OOO| ^
    OOX| N
    OOO|

Notae's Note: Don't worry about hitting any other switches after you hit the
good one, you'll be through the Goal by the time those beams swing around.

39 - Spiral Bridge: Go up to the helix and get onto it. Always be moving or the
camera angle will change. At the top, go to the middle of the green part and
bolt for the Goal when possible.

40 - Pachinko, *Bonus*: Go through the wormhole and go onto the slope. Try not
to get bounced off and I don't recommend going for bananas, just head for the
Goal.

41 - SEGA Logo: Use the jump to hop onto the outer part of the "S". Follow it
around and it should be the inner part on the other side. Get a little speed and
jump over to the "E", bouncing off the outside onto the inside. Go to the long
part of it and jump off the inside corner to the "G", which is connected to the
outer part of the "A". Get a little speed and jump to the inner part of the "A"
where the horizontal line is, then go through the Goal.

42 - Snake: Ride one platform to one side and follow them as they move in front
of you. Then ride the last platform back to the middle and break the ribbon.

43 - Wind: Follow the path as fast as you can, just make sure you slow down at
every corner.

44 - Windy Slide: Use each individual dip as a half pipe so that you have enough
speed at the end to get up onto the Goal platform.

Glitch: In story mode, the names of this level and Beginner 27 (Sliders) are
switched.

45 - Fall Down: Fall off in the direction of the arrows. Until you get to the
Goal.

Notae's Note: If you fall off to the back of the starting platform, you can skip
most of the level.

46 - Twin Cross: Choose your side, the left side involves good diagonal move,
while the right side involves speed. They both head to the same Goal though.

47 - Spiral Hard: A souped up version of Spiral. You have to get on and ride an
even longer spiral down to the Goal.

Notae's Note: Just like in Spiral, if you go forward right away, then fall off
to the left at 56.75 seconds, you should be able to steer yourself into the
Goal.

48 - Conveyer Parts: A souped-up version of Conveyer. Go to the end of the
starting platform, and wait until the first conveyer hits it. Quickly transfer
to it and go to the end. Repeat for all the others until you get to the Goal.

Notae's Note: There's a big difference between story and challenge mode on this
one. In story mode, there's a much longer time that the conveyers touch.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - More Friction: Use only the left conveyers.

49 - Gaps: Go as far away from the edge as you can, then rush towards it and use
the lip on the end to jump off and (hopefully) land on the next platform. Repeat
to get to the Goal platform.

50 - Earthquake, *Bonus*: Run forward and hit the play switch. When the platform
is low on one side, jump on and go through the Goal.

51 - Wavy Option: The only thing hard about this level is getting onto the wave
of your choice, the rest is pretty easy.

Notae's Note: Don't choose the smaller path for some measly bananas, because
you'll waste more lives than you'll gain.

52 - Obstacle: Go onto the level and turn left. Get on the elevator and wait for
it to rise. Roll off the edge in the opposite direction in the center of the
platform. Hold down while you're falling, and hold up after you hit the wedge.

53 - Domino: Domino rallies are SO COOL, I always used to make them all the
time! Anyway, Hit the play switch and bolt to the left side. Follow the
perimeter around to the far right corner. The last domino is the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 2/10 - Suspended: Complete without pressing the play switch.

54 - Sieve: Roll onto the first track. Only roll onto the circle when the two
diamond... thingies... yeah... are on the other side. Do the same with the other
side. When on the last pathway, stay in the exact middle of the path. At the end
wait for the diamond thingy to pass, then go for the Goal.

55 - Flock: This level may seem random, but to do it the fastest way, follow a
diagonal path from start to finish that is perfectly straight, jumping from one
corner to another.

Notae's Note: Look before you leap, make sure the next platform is below you.

56 - Double Spiral: Roll onto the lower path, and onto the spiral at about 50
seconds. If you are falling left, speed up, if you're falling right, slow down.

57 - Hierarchy: To do this one, the first jump, I recommend jumping straight,
for the others, jump as close to the edge as possible to have a better chance of
landing.

Notae's Note: (Thank you Zack Dice) If you get onto the raised part of the
starting platform on either side of you, then jump toward the stage, it's
possible to land on one of the lowest platforms.

58 - 8 Bracelets: This is one of the best-designed levels in SMBDX. Go onto the
first bracelet as slow as possible and use it as a half pipe. When at the other
side, transfer to the next one. DON'T LOSE YOUR HEIGHT, otherwise you won't make
it. When you're at your fifth bracelet there should be three platforms, land on
the lowest one.

58 - 8 Bracelets, *Warp*: Instead of landing on the bottom platform, land on
  the middle one.

58 - 8 Bracelets, *Second Warp*: Land on the top platform for this one.

Notae's Note: You only have to cross five of the eight bracelets. The other
three give you the choice of which side to cross.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Can't Choose: Get to the Second Warp after touching
all 8 bracelets.

59 - Pistons: The safest place on this level is where six paths meet. Stay on
these areas whenever the pistons around you are shooting up from the ground.

Notae's Note: Do not fall down onto the pistons otherwise you will not be able
to complete the level.

60 - Banana Hunting, *Bonus*: This one is hard to get into the Goal, because you
can't stop jumping, just don't hit the Goal and bounce off the edge!

61 - Curvature: They went too far! The last curve is FAR too thin. You'll have
to go very slowly to get across it.

62 - Ant Lion Super: A souped-up version of Ant Lion. Use the same technique to
get around, just watch out for the pegs.

63 - Drum: Wait for them all to line up on the right side, then bolt across and
get onto the Goal platform.

64 - Twist & Spin: Get on and go at the same speed as the twisting to always
stay on flat ground.

Live Dangerously - 3/10 - Nonstop4: Finish in under 5 seconds.

Glitch: In story mode the name of this level and Advanced 47 (Twister) are
switched.

65 - Speedy Jam: A souped-up version of Middle Jam. Use the same technique, but
go faster.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Speedy Lap: Do a lap around the first square.

66 - Quake: Roll onto the first platform, get shot into the air, bounce off the
second and third ones, and break that ribbon.

Live Dangerously - 5/10 - Detours: Land on all 7 platforms.

67 - Cassiopeia: Get onto the first platform when possible, go to the other end,
and repeat until you get to the Goal.

68 - Pirates: Get onto the first oscillating platform, then transfer to the next
when they cross, but stay on the same side, because that's where the next
platform is going. Repeat until you get to the end stationary platform.

69 - Bowl Open: A cut-back version of Bowl. Run into the right side at a 45
degree angle, run around and break the ribbon.

Live Dangerously - 2/10 - Straighterforward: Complete it without doing a lap
around the bowl.

70 - Fighters, *Bonus*: THEY RUINED THIS LEVEL!!! This level would be so much
better if you could actually see the fight. I don't recommend going for bananas
or even hitting the play switch! Just get an awesome score by going though the
Goal quickly.

71 - Soft Cream: Hit the play switch and stop before you roll onto the ice cream
shaped bridge. When the beginning of the ice cream shaped bridge is horizontal,
roll onto it. Maintain a constant speed that is not too fast or too slow.

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - Not so soft cream: Complete it without pressing any
switches.

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - Reverse: Traverse the bridge with the playback switch
pressed.

72 - Momentum: Roll as fast as you can and go onto the platform that is closest
to the platform you're on. When the other platform swings down, without losing
any speed, transfer to it. When you come to the pillars, go around the outside
quickly. If you don't make it fast enough, you will die a terrible terrible
death. Continue this way to the Goal.

73 - Entangled Path: Hit the fast forward switch until you have 45 seconds left,
then hit the play switch. Get onto the first bar and wait for it to be almost
lined up, then bolt for the Goal.

73 - Entangled Path, *Warp*: This is an extremely hard warp to get. My
assumption is that you're supposed to go along the path when it is facing the
platform with the green Goal on it.

74 - Totters: Roll forward as fast as possible and when you get launched into
the air, lean in the direction opposite to the direction you were launched in.
Don't miss the Goal.

75 - Vortex: Hit the playback switch and wait for the spiral to come to the
platform. When it does, get onto it and follow it to the center. When you get
here it will change direction. Follow it to the end and fall off onto the big
platform.

75 - Vortex, *Warp*: Do the same thing, but at the end, do not fall onto the
big platform. Instead, go onto the smaller platform above it.

76 - Warp: Travel as close to the bumpers as possible without actually hitting
them. Always stay at least three squares away from the edge. If you fall further
down, focus entirely on getting back up.

76 - Warp, *Warp*: Oh, the redundance! Anyway, Get to the end but don't break
the Goal ribbon. Instead, turn right and go through the narrow path surrounded
by bumpers to get to the green Goal.

77 - Trampolines: Roll onto the first trampoline type object and get bounced up.
Lean forward-left and land on the next trampoline type object. Keep bouncing
until you get to the top of the trampolines where the Goal is. When you're here,
go quickly into the Goal before you get bounced again.

78 - Swing Shaft: Roll forward onto the swing shaft. You don't have to switch
sides in order to stay on, just lean in the opposite direction of the swing.
Carefully exit the swing shaft and go through the Goal.

79 - Serial Jump: Roll onto the first ring on the right side. Jump at the arrow
and land on the next ring and roll around into the Goal.

79 - Serial Jump, *Warp*: Instead of going through the Goal, jump at the next
arrow and keep jumping until you reach the ring with the green Goal on it.

79 - Serial Jump, *Second Warp*: Instead of going through the green Goal,
keep jumping until you reach the ring with the red Goal on it.

Notae's Note (Second Warp): It is possible to just fall through the first ring
and complete the Second Warp, thus getting you a massive score boost.

80 - Shelter, *Bonus*: Get the banana bunch in the middle of the stage, Get the
4 banana bunches on the 4 Square platforms at the 4 corners, then get the 4 near
the top by the holes.

81 - Checker: Go to the left and use a lot of diagonal move to get to the Goal.

81 - Checker, *Warp*: Go to the right this time and find the path to the green
  Goal.

81 - Checker, *Second Warp*: Go past the green Goal and find your way to the
    Second Warp.

82 - Carpet: Wait for the first platform to come to you, then go onto it. When
the other platform goes below you, drop down to it, then ride it to the other
side. Then get on the second set of platforms when possible, drop down, and go
through the Goal.

83 - Ridge: Go around the level staying on the differently coloured section, or
using the momentum and centrifugal force technique.

84 - Mixer: Hold forward from the start to get across the first one. Then wait
for the second one to have a small enough gap as to not fall through, then rush
across it.

85 - Rings: For every ring except the first one, use the momentum and
centrifugal force technique.

85 - Rings, *Warp*: Go across the last ring using the same technique.

86 - Stairs: Hold forward to get over the first one, then go to the back of the
next without falling, rush forward and hop. Repeat for the others.

87 - Clover: Take it slowly and use the momentum and centrifugal force
technique on the slants.

88 - Coffee Cup: Follow the Goal around the stage without getting bumped and try
to get into its set of bumpers.

89 - Metamorphosis: When the base of the cube hits the starting platform, get
onto it, then follow it around until it has turned inside-out and the Goal sits
on top of it.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - Tossed and Turned: Go through the Goal when it isn't
sitting on top of the cube.

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - There and Back: Ride the cube until it has gone
through an entire cycle.

90 - Mobius, *Bonus*: One of life's great mysteries, hit the play switch and
ride along the entire face of the strip until you get to the Goal.

91 - Cross Floors: Roll onto the first diagonal platform with forward-right
momentum. Switch the momentum to the uphill slant on every platform until you
reach the end.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Voyage: It's rather easy to cross the floors once,
but can you cross them five times in the allotted 60 seconds?

92 - Spinning Saw: Roll quickly onto the saw and steer yourself into the Goal.

Notae's Note: Always stay as close to the center as possible, even if you don't
make it through the Goal on the first try.

93 - Chipped Pipes: Go onto the right path and never lose your momentum.

93 - Chipped Pipes, *Warp*: Do the same thing on the left pipe, it's not
  harder. If anything, it's easier!

Notae's Note: Play this level much like you would play Expert 29, 8 Bracelets.

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - NonStop5: Blast through the right pipe at top speed!

94 - Flat Maze: Go straight, go downhill, go uphill, then go right, right,
right, right, right, jump the gap and hold up until you're over the second gap,
then hold back until you land. Then go right, keep following the path until you
reach a long straightaway, then jump the next gap, continue until you come to a
long straightaway with three gaps. Go medium on the first, fast on the second,
and slow on the third. Then follow the obvious path to the Goal.

Notae's Note: There's a big shortcut you can take. After going up the hill, turn
right 4 times, then go down the next straightaway (facing the same way you were
when you started), swerve to the right at the end of the straightaway, then hop
the gap. If you manage to land on the track on the other side of the gap, you're
right at the end.

Notae's Note: There's an even BIGGER shortcut, run as fast as you can at the
start and make a hard right when you hit the uphill, then steer yourself into
the Goal.

95 - Guillotine: Roll onto the circular platform, turn left and start when the
guillotine is directly above you. Stay at the highest speed possible until you
reach the last three ramps, then go whenever possible.

96 - Corkscrew: Roll forward and hold up. About 1 second after the curve starts,
hold right. Go through the straightaway and when the curve starts again, hold
down-left or up-left. Then go through the Goal. (Not 100% effective).

97 - Orbiters: Go when the platform in front of you stops, but before the
platform you're on starts.

98 - Twin Basin: This level is harder than it looks. Roll into the first basin
to the left. Do 1 lap to gain as much speed as possible without falling out, and
when you reach the turn toward the next platform, smoothly move the control
stick from up to left, to safely make it onto the platform. Repeat for the
second basin.

99 - Air Hockey: This level doesn't involve skill, it involves timing to put you
in the right spot: Hold up at the start RIGHT AWAY. EXACTLY when you hit the
platform, release the stick. That should put you in the exact right spot for
getting through the Goal quickly. If that doesn't work, observe the path of the
Goal, it repeats, so position yourself in the path of the Goal.

100 - Asterisk: Go to one of the points which faces the ramp leading to the
Goal. Find a ramp that takes you up one level, then follow it around to the next
ramp, which will take you up another level. Make a U-Turn and follow the path
around again, but one level higher. Go up another ramp, make another U-Turn,
and follow the path until you are in the middle of the far end of the point.
Then rush down the stairs directly toward the Goal, climb the ramp using the
speed you acquired from the stairs and beat this level.

Live Dangerously - 1/10 - Changed my Mind: Go up one staircase but complete the
level using a different one.

Live Dangerously - 1/10 - Handicapped: Beat it without climbing the stairs.

***EXPERT EXTRA***

I congratulate you on making it through Expert without losing a continue, but
you're not off the hook yet, you have to beat these Extra stages without losing
a continue to unlock Master.

Ex1 - Charge: Roll onto the long pathways, fall off at the end and repeat using
the endless chain of wormhole to wormhole until your speed is over 100, then hit
the end of the platforms to hopefully bounce over the wormhole onto the platform
with the Goal on it. Just don't bounce past the Goal!

Ex2 - Strata: Hop onto the long curved platform carefully. At the top, fall down
onto the first bridge. Turn around and fall down at the end of that one. Repeat.
and at the end of the fourth one, a Goal awaits you.

Ex2 - Strata, *Warp*: When you hop onto the bridge with the Goal on it, hop
again without turning around to get to the impossibly thin bridge with the
  warp on it.

Ex3 - Square Dance: Follow these directions as fast and soon as possible, "X"
marks the spot:

OOOO
OOOX
OOXX
OOXO

Live Dangerously - 10/10 - Waiting Room: Get on the stage ASAP, then stay on
until there's less then 5 seconds remaining, then break the tape!

Ex4 - Giant Swing: Roll around and up the ramp without getting squashed by the
swing. When the swing comes up from underneath, jump off and get hit by it.
You'll go flying way into the air and then you have to steer yourself toward the
platform with the Goal. This one isn't too hard if you know how to do it.

Ex5 - 5 Drums: Drop down the right side of the first drum ASAP. When the wall on
the second drum passes, bolt for the Goal and hope for the best.

Ex6 - Free Throw: To get to the Goal, get flung by the thinnest, uppermost part
of the flinger, (Is that a word?) and steer yourself into the Goal.

Ex6 - Free throw, *Warp*: See last.

Ex6 - Free throw, *Second Warp*: See last.

Live Dangerously - 5/10 - Three-Pointer: Get the Second Warp without bouncing.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Swish Swish: Get the Warp without bouncing.

Live Dangerously - 9/10 - Penalty Shot: Get the Goal without bouncing

Ex7 - Pendulums: U-Turn play switch, go forward onto the first
pendulum when it's accessible and wait for another at the right. Get onto it and
get to the nearest stationary platform. Zigzag across the level in this way to
the Goal. Be very careful because they speed up as you progress.

Notae's Note: The pendulums' pattern is: swing, swing, switch.

Ex8 - Conical Slider: Pass the wormhole and follow the path down the
circumference of the cone. While on it, press up-left and up-right to steer.
When you enter the bottom wormhole, hold up-left to bounce onto the top of the
cone.

Live Dangerously - 2/10 - Exit Only: Go through the wormhole backwards, but wait
at least 1 second before going back through.

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - 3 Minus 1: Go through the wormhole exactly twice.

Live Dangerously - 9/10 - Freefall2: Fall all the way from the starting platform
into the wormhole, and still land on the cone.

Ex9 - Construction: Hold up from the beginning until you bounce off of a switch
without pressing it, then hold down to prevent an early death. Then go left,
right, left, right, make 5 hairpin turns, go up-left, hairpin, up-left to an
extremely thin path with no walls, and up-right to the Goal. Make sure you do it
quickly!

Ex10 - Train Worm: The best way is to wait until you are outside of the turn
that the worm is making, then bolt for the Goal when possible.

Ex11 - Blur Bridge: You can get onto one platform, ride it to the edge, then go
straight as the platforms appear in front of you, or you can take a
semi-diagonal route across the middle of the stage for a better time.

Ex12 - Breathe: The squares on this level sink alternately, so use the stop and
go technique and diagonal movement to beat it.

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - Nonstop6: Finish in under 5 seconds.

Ex13 - Hard Hitter: This one's bigger and faster than Hitter. You can go right
away and get a good time, but risk dying, or you can wait until the clock says
26, when the Goal will slow down, to go through.

Ex14 - Ferris Wheel: Wait until there's 7.5 seconds left, then rush across the
platform to the Goal.

Ex15 - Factory: Run around the stage to the platform on the right side of the
stage, wait for a Goal to come out, and use the ramp to jump into it.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Freefall Type 1: Jump off the large slope leading down
to where the Goals are being dropped and land on the ribbon of one.

Live Dangerously - 9/10 - Freefall Type 2: Jump off the large slope leading down
to where the Goals are being dropped and let the ribbon of one land on you.

Glitch: If you complete the level, and the camera angle changes around so that
you can see the Goal you just went through, you'll notice it reverts back to an
untouched Goal, and the next one on the line becomes the one you went through.

Ex16 - Curl Pipe: Run into the tube and go as fast as possible, if you point in
the direction the tube is going, you shouldn't fall through.

Glitch: If you ride on the outside of the pipe and manage to hit the second
curl, you'll find out that it's a one-way wall, you'll go right through it and
land on the inside of the pipe.

Ex17 - Magic Hand: Get onto the platform and wait for the Ultrahand to compress,
then follow the trail of orange circles to the other side. Wait for the hand to
extend and break the ribbon.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Nonstop7: Finish in under 5 seconds.

Ex18 - AV Logo: Go onto the logo, and take a path between the "a" and the "v",
make a hairpin turn to the right and go through the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Pure V: Go around the right side of the "v".

Ex19 - Sanctuary: Roll to the end of the beam, face the end, and run onto the
sawed-off spheres. Keep a steady pace, bouncing once off of the center of each
flat side.

Ex20 - Daa Loo Maa: Try to follow the hammer as closely as possible, and when it
knocks out disc number "1", go through the Goal ASAP, before it knocks away the
Goal.

Glitch: After going through the Goal, you may notice that as you are flying up
into the sky, the entire level will revert to its starting position.

***MASTER***

Way to go, you actually beat Expert Extra? Get ready for more levels that are no
easier than the Expert Extra levels. A lot of these levels involve luck,
know-how, and a good run to beat them. Good luck, seriously.

1 - Centrifugal: Roll into the centrifuge and to the right, but don't get spun
out. Get to the part where the bananas are, and stay in line with them by
steering with down-left and up-right. Eventually, the Goal will come on the same
line as the bananas.

2 - Swing Bridges: There are two ways to beat this level, the easy yet not so
sure way, and the hard yet sure-fire way to beat it. The easy way is to hold up
the whole time and straighten yourself so you go straight into the Goal. The
hard way is to use the stop and go technique and bolt for the middle of the
bridge, stop, and bolt for the next bridge.

2 - Swing Bridges, *Warp*: Go to the end of the starting platform, turn around
go full blast at the ramp and jump (hopefully) onto the first swing bridge,
then use the stop and go technique.

3 - Cylinders: I don't recommend following the entire path around the cylinders.
You should roll forward onto the first cylinder, and bounce off the next one
onto the last one. Then keep yourself centered so you can go straight through
the Goal.

4 - Passage: Go to the end of the first platform (over the gap) and wait for the
pillars to pass by. Then, at a moderate speed, go to the next platform as close
to the wall as possible, without touching it, do the same thing at the end of
the diagonal path, and wait until the pillars appear, and disappear. Then do it
again and go through the Goal.

4 - Passage, *Warp*: Go to the right side when possible. When on the first
platform after the wall, go forward instead of diagonally with just enough
speed to fall into the little alcove below. Wait for the pillars to pass, then
go up-right, turn around, get the 50 bananas, and break the ribbon on the
  green Goal.

5 - Notch: Wait until the oval is at a 45 degree angle, then bolt forward, get
onto it, weave around the gaps, stop, keep your balance, and go through the Goal
when possible.

6 - Intermittent: Roll absolutely straight forward until you reach the third
platform, then go slightly to the left, and if you're lucky and you bounce,
steer yourself into the Goal.

7 - Long Torus: Roll to the back of the starting platform at a moderate pace
(for timing purposes) and roll full blast toward the gargantuan... thing.
(that's the technical term) Bounce off of the lip, and land on the right side.
Roll along this side until you get to the end, then slow down, and roll through
the Goal.

8 - Spasmodic: Harder than it looks, if you don't know how to do it. Half a
second after you land (around 59.50) go full blast and you'll go straight
through the Goal.

9 - Double Twin: Go onto the first inner platform at about 54 seconds. Roll as
fast as you can and at about 51 seconds, switch to the outer platform. Roll
onto the second inner platform at about 40 seconds. Roll as fast as you can and
at 37 seconds, switch to the outer and make sure you don't miss the Goal!

10 - Clock Face: Roll onto the red platform that doesn't have bumpers and follow
it to the other side of the stage where you will do one of two things: Jump off
when the blue platform comes and bounce off of its edge toward the Goal, or ride
the back of the red platform, roll onto the blue, and roll up the ramp toward
the Goal. If you fail at either, land on the edge of the clock and retry at the
next blue platform.

11 - Wave Master: Wait 3.5 seconds, then run along the moving blocks. If you
start moving too fast and you are hitting gaps, slow down a bit until you line
up again with the blocks.

12 - Fan Master: Go onto the First fan and go down it like stairs onto the next
one. Wait for it to unfold and fold again, then repeat to get to the next one.

Live Dangerously - 1/10 - 0 Degrees: Don't touch the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th fans.

13 - Stamina Master: Unbelievably frustrating, make sure you know what you are
getting into. First line yourself up with the unbelievably narrow peak, then
traverse it. Slow down as to not hit the pole and die. Go over to the moving
blocks, and diagonally move through them when possible. Next up is a conical
slider and WOO!

Notae's Note: Shortcut: After traversing the narrow peak, go to the 90 degree
angle in the platform. If you fall off the inside of this angle, you can steer
yourself into the Goal, and skip the blocks and slider. This can also be done
from the end of the platform.

14 - Spring Master: Wait at the farthest end of the platform from the spring for
the spring to contract, then slowly move forward. When the spring extends bolt
across it to the first platform. Wait at the far edge of it (to avoid the moving
wall with the spring) for the spring to contract, then extend again, when you
should follow it to the next platform. This process gets harder as you progress,
until you get to the end of the spring and beat it. Make sure you don't get
punched by the wall at the end as it folds out.

15 - Dance Master: You have to go quickly: Go to the right, and stay in the
middle of the path, round the corner, then once the squares begin to reform, hug
the inside edge, but once the first square passes you, bolt outwards to avoid
getting hit by the second, then bolt for the Goal before you get pushed off.

Live Dangerously - 9/10 - Masterful Dancing: Complete without touching the
squares.

16 - Roll Master: The giant dodecahedron (12 sided 3D shape for those who are
mathematically challenged) rolls in the direction pointed out by a red marker
on each inner face. Go onto this red marker ASAP each time it rolls and you
should be done in no time.

Notae's Note: The walls of this level are only visible from the inside out,
looking in they are transparent.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - Shortcut: Go through the Goal before it rolls three
times!

Live Dangerously - 6/10 - Window of Opportunity: Go around the cycle twice. The
dodecahedron will appear to stop after reaching the start again, but it'll start
again in a few seconds.

17 - Edge Master: You have to stay on this platform as it rolls around by using
the edges of it. The level rolls when the buttons are completely depressed. For
the first roll, make sure you are on the angled side when it's at 45 degree
angle, and constantly hold forward slightly until you are on the new side, then
hold back to avoid falling off. For the next, use the same hold slightly forward
then jerk back technique, just make sure to stay on the left side where there's
a longer side. For the last, start on the right side and as it turns move to
the left and hit the wall on the new side to safely finish.

Notae's Note: You can easily beat the level in 5 seconds or less by rolling off
the left edge and holding back to go through the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 8/10 - Another Window of Opportunity: Go around the cycle
twice. The stage will appear to stop after reaching the start again, but it'll
start again in a few seconds.

18 - Dodge Master: This level consists of a large square with 4 sets of 9 little
pegs moving around in circles. You have to figure out their pattern and find a
good path through it, or blast through and hope for the best.

Notae's Note: This kind of voids the challenge, but there's an exact timing
strategy that I developed myself, if you pause between 58.33 and 58.31, then
hold up and unpause, you'll go through the level without touching any of the
pegs.

Live Dangerously - 10/10 - Stealth: Complete it without hitting any of the small
blocks.

Glitch: Everything on this level reflects on the surface of the giant square,
except for the small blocks.

19 - Bridge Master: I hate this level. There are 3 ways of doing it, I think.
Assuming the direction you start facing is North: Go around the bridge until you
are facing South for the second time. Before you turn West, turn around and roll
as fast as you can toward the Goal. Hopefully you will hop the gap and go
through. The second way is to wait until you are on the long bridge facing North
on the East side of the level. Run this bridge as fast as you can and fall off
the left side at the end and try to bounce off the next bridge into the Goal.
The third and hardest way is to traverse the entire bridge (who builds a bridge
with right angles anyway?)

20 - Monkey Master: If you are reading this because you are stuck on Master 20,
congratulations on beating Master 19. This is considerably easier than Master
19, but it's still very tricky. Before you roll on, wait for Aiai's head to be
all the way to the right, then roll on as fast as you can and as far to the left
as possible to bounce onto his body. Wait again for his head to be all the way
to the right, then move to the left at a rate so that you will get to the left
position of the Goal at the same time it does. If you haven't lost a continue
yet, this may be the most exciting moment of your life. Exhale some air into a
jar and seal it to preserve this moment.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Nonstop8: Finish in under 5 seconds.

***MASTER EXTRA***

This is it. The final stretch leading to your Destiny. Luckily, the extra stages
are easier than Masters 13 and 19, So no worries. Let's continue, shall we?

Ex1 - Variable Width: Welcome to the extra stages! Please keep your arms and
legs inside the ball at all times, as speeds may reach up to 400 mph. Please
enjoy your stay! Wait until the outermost platforms are at the highest point,
then bolt forward at top speed staying in the exact center. At the end, the
platforms should all line up, so ease to one side, then back to the center to
break the ribbon.

Ex2 - Striker: This may be the easiest hard level since... *searches*... Master
1? Well it's really easy, like early Advanced easy, so roll forward right away
onto the far side of the striker, then get launched onto the awaiting platforms.
Land on the bottom one and get transported to Ooparts. Or...

Ex2 - Striker, *Warp*: Land on the second platform (still quite easy) and get
  transported to Planets. Or...

Ex2 - Striker, *Second Warp*: If you manage to land on the top platform,
which still isn't as hard as a Master Extra level should be, never mind a
Second Warp on a Master Extra level, you'll skip Ooparts and Planets and go
straight to Sliced Cheese. Sweet deal.

Ex3 - Ooparts: Roll to the back of the platform and at 53.50 rush forward and
bounce off the... thing... onto the Goal platform. Careful not to bounce off the
Goal into the abyss, and always keep the control stick pointed toward the Goal.

Ex4 - Planets: Seems awfully familiar. Although Expert Extra 19 was relatively
easy, the addition of the parabolic curve in this level loads on the challenge.
Bounce off the center of each planet once and for the planet before the Goal
platform, either bounce off the top and land vertically on the Goal planet, or
hit the round edge and soar diagonally through the Goal.

Ex4 - Planets, *Second Warp*: During production, the first Warp went with
the Warp from Expert 4 on a vacation to Bermuda. They were never seen in any
version past beta. This time, due to the size of the party ball, you have to
to soar into the Goal. I like to skip the Goal planet completely and go from
the one before. As a matter of fact...

Live Dangerously - 3/10 - Eyes on the Prize: Get the Second Warp without
touching the Goal planet.

Live Dangerously - 5/10 - Freefall3: Fall from the second planet into the Goal.

Live Dangerously - 7/10 - Freefall4: Fall from the second planet into the Second
Warp.

Ex5 - Sliced Cheese: Harder than it looks. The first coin is easy, simply lean
into it from the far left side. For the second, wait at the right side as close
as possible to the first coin that you can still see the second one. Wait until
a large hole is almost at the top, then rush forward and don't fall off the
other side.

Ex6 - 8 Seesaws: Roll onto each seesaw at a rate just fast enough to avoid it
tipping you off, but slow enough to raise the other end high enough to get on
the next one. This level is also pretty easy for a Master Extra stage. I'm sure
there's some way to make it harder...

Live Dangerously - 2/10 - Still Easy: Do a lap around the seesaws, then go to
the Goal. This involves hitting the First one thrice, and 4 others twice.

Ex7 - Synchronized: Roll forward, ease to the right a lot, and break the ribbon.

Ex7 - Synchronized, *Warp*: Roll forward, ease to the right less, break the
  ribbon.

Notae's Note: You can get to the Goal by bouncing off the Warp.

Ex8 - Helix: Go quickly across the top two squares or the next two squares. Then
slow down at the end to drop in.

Ex8 - Helix, *Warp*: Keep your speed up at the end and fall off into the Warp.

Notae's Note (Warp): Just like in Beginner 8, you can't fall in, you must soar
in!

Ex9 - Dizzy System: Roll onto the platform and keep your control stick pointed
at the Goal.

Notae's Note: If you roll forward, change to forward-right when you hit the
platform, then change to forward-left when you hit the firs bump, it'll put you
into or close to the Goal.

Glitch: When playing this level in Super Monkey Ball 2, occasionally I would be
launched into the air by an invisible force and fly for about 30 seconds. Then I
would start falling and I could see the base from space (it looked cool). If I
tilted the level, it would pop out of the base and go back when I released the
stick. I would fall out about 10 seconds into my fall, because there's a sphere
with a certain thickness that represents the fall out area, and when flying out,
for some reason it didn't affect me, but then I fell into it from the outside. I
saved the replay and when I played it back, the base looked different. So far
that glitch hasn't happened to me yet, but it's still possible.

Ex10 - Destiny: Reminiscent of the final stage in Super Monkey Ball 2, Nintendo,
unfortunately they couldn't use a rotating Gamecube in a PS2/XBox game, but this
giant die still holds the same rotation pattern, and the Goal still pops out
from inside to prevent cheating. The first time it rotates you want to move to
the front of the die, then go right and stay in that direction until you reach
the "2" side, then turn left to get onto the "1". Each time it rotates, get to
the side which it's rotating to, and make sure the face you're rotating onto has
many dimples lined up with you to slow your fall. By the time it's rotated 45
degrees, you should be right on the edge of the two faces. Then roll into the
dimples to slow your fall. To get out of the dimples, use the Momentum and
Centrifugal Force Technique. Successfully make it to the "1" and you have
successfully beaten the game. WOO!!!

***WORLD 10 ***

Now hold on a minute. The last world in Story Mode contains 10 unique levels
that I, the FAQ writer, am obligated to cover, and you, the Master player, are
obligated to beat before you can say you're done. But don't fret, these levels
are about as hard as Expert, maybe Expert Extra, but a lot of them are mazes
which you can be walked through.

1 - Training: Roll along the easy path. (duh)

3 - Gimmick: Drop down to the right when you are centered above the lower
platform, round the corner, jump off making sure you hit the play switch, turn
around, wait for the platform to be high enough to jump off of, jump off, go
right, right, right, left, left, left, left, and through the Goal.

Notae's Note: For a faster start, roll forward at full blast right away and at
about 55.50 seconds, fall off of the right side, bounce off of the first
platform, land on the left side of the perpendicular part, roll off the far end
and hit the play switch.

4 - Mountain: Roll onto the flat top of the mountain. Using your map, find the
Goal. Go to the left of the spike above it and steer yourself into the Goal.

6 - Disorder: Roll forward at full blast and jump off of the first block. Half a
second before you hit the next block, hold back to stop from flying off the
edge. Go to the end of the platform and fall off slowly to the Goal.

7 - 3D Maze: Roll on at about 56 seconds. Right away, go to the left of the
grate (platform with holes in it). Go right when it rotates, and up-left when
the platform you just hit is relatively flat. Go to the right of the grate and
the maze will switch directions. Go left when possible and face backwards. Make
a hairpin turn to the other side of the grate, let the level rotate 90 degrees,
and jump to the Goal platform behind you.

9 - Crazy Maze: Go up the left ramp and fall down the hole. Turn to your right,
and go across the path and stop at the gap. Roll up the ramp behind you and over
the precariously close corner. Turn left and roll down this path, make a right,
then go left, and turn left up a ramp. Go left and go up another ramp, then
turn left up yet another ramp. Fall down onto a raised purple platform and go to
the end of it. Fly as far as possible to the right and try to make it onto the
other raised platform. Roll forward past this platform until you see a ramp to
your right. Go up the ramp and turn left up another. Go through the tight
corner, turn right, fall off, and go through the Goal.

11 - Postmodern: Go up the first staircase on the right side, then follow the
obvious path up to the roof. When here, use the map to fall onto the platform
with the Goal.

Notae's Note: Keep a constant speed when going up the stairs.

13 - Revolution: Go to the right of the far right pillar ASAP and wait for the
level to turn twice, then bolt for the Goal.

15 - Invisible: Spell INVISIBLE! Hit the play switch, wait for the words to come
down, then roll along it keeping track of what letter you're on. The missing
squares are up on the wall. The middles of the S, B, and E are entirely
invisible.

Notae's Note: Here's a visual of the part of the level that exists:

                   O G O
                   O O O
                   O O O

                   OOOOOOO
                         O
                   OOOOOOO

                    START

17 - Created By: Roll onto the play switch and up the ramps at full blast. Roll
onto the "a" when it's going down, then use the flat part as a ramp. Make sure
you don't bounce off of the Goal, and break the ribbon.

Live Dangerously - 4/10 - Legible: Complete it without pressing the play switch.

I noticed there are 12 ways for the level to be introduced, theres a 135
degree, and a 270 degree rotation, as well as a clockwise and a
counter-clockwise rotation. Also, there are 3 speeds, the standard speed, the
re-introduction speed, and the speed it goes when you hold the A button, making
a total of 2x2x3, which equals 12 different ways. I guess you could say there's
an infinite number of ways because you can toggle the speed back and forth by
pressing and releasing the A button, but I excluded that. You could say that a
forth speed would be the toggling, thus making it 2x2x4, which is 16 ways to
introduce it.

There's a mistake in monkey golf. In mini-golf, they use yards and feet
interchangeably.

If you press Left on the control pad while watching a replay, it will display a
LIVE camera view.

Also I noticed that there are a number of subtle things in the game that hardly
affect it at all but just make it more enjoyable overall (and some that are
hardly noticeable!)

1. When you fall hard onto a surface, small stars appear to indicate the impact,
but they aren't just symbols that appear on the screen, they are actually in
full rendered 3D graphics!

2. When you start moving really fast, sparks will start flying from your monkey
ball!

3. When you approach a wormhole, it's surface will ripple, and if you enter very
slowly, surface tension will push you out.

4. The monkey face up in the corner of the screen will frown if you approach an
edge, hop a gap, or impact something at a high speed. It will spin around when
you fall out.

5. The Goal ribbon will push back if you go in slow enough.
