Los Santos Missions This page contains walkthroughs of all of the Los Santos missions on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. There are 29 story missions in total before the next section of the map is unlocked. Using the guide is simple. Scroll through it and find the name of the crime boss you are currently working for. All of the crime bosses are in large bold font and have their radar icon next to them. Below the crime boss, you'll find their missions. The missions will explain what happens in the cutscene, what your objectives are, and the best way to go about them. You'll also be informed of the rewards for completing missions, and shown a number of screenshots from each mission. You can use the quick links below to jump to something specific if you know what you're looking for. You'll find a number of links at the bottom of the page which will take you to the mission walkthroughs for other areas. I'd suggest you allow the page to load all of the images and content before clicking on any other links. Clicking on the thumbnail screenshots will pop up with a larger image. After you've finished watching the cutscene and the opening video walk forwards and get on the BMX. From here you'll need to read the on screen instructions which will tell you how to successfully ride a bike. Once you're starting to get the hang of it make your way to the Right and use the radar to direct you to the CJ icon. As you approach Grove Street Carl will give a short speech so you'll know you're close. Once you get to the end of the cul-de-sac enter the red marker and you'll begin the first mission. Carl Johnson Big Smoke# This mission is more of a cutscene. You'll enter the Johnson House where Carl will have flashbacks of when his moms was alive. He grabs a photograph of her and looks at it when Big Smoke enters the room with a baseball bat. After a short discussion they move outside and Carl enters Smokes Perennial. They then drive off to the funeral. Sweet & Kendl# Upon arriving at the funeral you'll be reunited with Sweet and Kendl, Carl's siblings as well as Ryder, a friend of the family. Sweet shows you that a lot of the Grove Street Families have been killed and eventually leads you out of the cemetery. Just outside the gates you'll be confronted by a Ballas car and a spray of bullets. It's now where the mission starts. Run across the road and get on the bike marked with the blue arrow, then head along the street to the right and follow Smoke, Ryder and Sweet. Keep tapping X to pedal faster and try to get some distance between you and the chasing Ballas car, or you'll take a lot of damage from drive by's. Follow Sweet on the radar and if you get lost, just pause and look at the map to see where he is. Follow them until you reach the area under the intersection, then Sweet will head off in a different direction in order to lose the Ballas. From here, follow Ryder and Smoke as they take you back towards Grove Street. Just as you approach, the Ballas car will appear again, so you can just speed to the red circle if you don't wish to follow Ryder and risk getting shot to pieces. Park in the Red Circle and you'll see a short cutscene before passing the first mission. Mission Passed! Respect + You can now enter Carl's house and save game which will refill your health. When you go back outside you'll be told to head to the R on the radar for Ryder's mission. You'll also get a phone call from Sweet who will tell you that the Grove Street Families aren't big anymore and that it's a dangerous place out there. Head to the R on the radar to start the first optional mission in the game. Optional as in it won't start until you want it to by standing in the red circle. Ryder Ryder After entering the red circle you'll watch a cutscene where Ryder informs you that a Pizza place is always spraying over his graffiti, even though it's beautiful. Ryder has a gun and wants to know if you're going with him. Of course you are. After the cutscene get in Ryder's car where you'll be presented with an objective which involves driving to the Barbers. Listen to the conversation between Carl and Ryder as you follow the blip on your radar and head towards the barbers. When you get there just park in the red circle, exit the vehicle and enter the barber shop. When you enter the shop, stand in the red marker and Carl will sit down. You'll now be able to choose a hair style using the menu. Buy whichever one you like, I usually go for the Jeri Curls. After that you'll go back outside where Ryder will comment on your hair. Once that's over with, cross the street and enter the Pizza Stack. Once inside, enter the red circle to buy a pizza. Scroll through the options and buy some food, depending of course on what you can afford. Buy any pizza, then when you're done, push triangle to quit the menu. A cutscene will then take over where Ryder attempts to hold up the pizza guy, however Carl says something which puts off Ryder and the pizza guy pulls out a Shotgun. You'll leave the store and appear outside. Run across the road and get in Ryder's car. You can then use it to run over the pizza guy chasing you with a shotgun, then pick up his weapon, or you can just drive the hell away from the flying lead. Either way, you'll need to take Ryder home, so make your way back to Grove Street. Park in the red circle and you'll see a short cutscene from Ryder telling you to see Sweet. Mission Passed! Respect + Sweets Missions Are Now Unlocked. Sweet Tagging Up Turf You'll watch a cutscene where Sweet tells you that he wants some other gang graffiti covered up, and will hand you a spray can. After a short clip of Smoke and Sweet playing basketball, you'll be ready to go. Get in Sweets car and drive him into Idlewood. As usual, follow your radar to help you get to the right place. Once you get there park in the red circle and Sweet will show you how to spray over tags. Once he's done the first one for you, it'll be up to you to do the other 2 remaining tags in that area. The first one is just across the road from where you'll be located on the side of a building, the next is in an alleyway behind the first row of houses. Spray over both tags, then get back in Sweets car. Drive into East Los Santos where you'll be given two more tags to spray, one is on the wall just across the road, and the other is on a wall just near Cluckin' Bell. When you reach the second one you'll need to take care of two Ballas Gang Members, and the hint at the top of the screen will show you that you can kill people with the spray can. Aim and them and hold circle until they die. Once they're gone, spray over the tag then you'll be given a yellow blip on the radar where you'll find the next tag. You'll be told to climb the fence as the next tag is above you, so do just that. Climb the first two fences, then use the low wall to climb up onto the roof. You'll find the tag on the side of the wall up there. Once that's sprayed Sweet will appear again and tell you to get in the car. Get in it and drive him back to Grove Street. Park in the red circle and watch the short cutscene to pass the mission. Mission Passed! $200 Respect + A Spray Can Is Now Available From CJ's Mom's House. Enter CJ's house and pick up extra ammo for the spray can if you wish. Upon leaving the house you'll receive a phone call from Officer Hernandez telling you that leaving town would be a bad idea. That's right too, because if you try to leave Los Santos you'll get a four star wanted level! Enter Sweet's red circle for another mission, or go hunting for tags to spray over. There's 100 to find throughout Los Santos. You've already got 6. Cleaning The Hood# The Grove Street Families members are discussing what to do to clean the hood from the people who only care about smoking and money. Carl has an idea to bring the families back together and Ryder agrees. When you're outside get in the car and make your way to B-Dup's crib. Park in the red circle and watch the cutscene where B-Dup and Big Smoke seem to fall out with CJ and Ryder. After that you'll be outside, and you're going to look for some dealers to mash. Head to the yellow dot on the radar on foot and when you get close enough you'll see a small clip of a dealer selling to a member of the Grove Street Families. Head over and kill the dealer. Once he's dead you'll see another small cutscene where Ryder tells you he knows where the Ballas are hanging out, and he'll also tell you to grab the bat. When you're back in the game, grab the baseball bat, then head to the dot on the radar. If Ryder gets too far behind, just push up and you'll call him back over to you. Head into the red circle and you'll enter the building. Once inside you need to kill all of the Balla Drug Dealers, these are clearly marked with a blue arrow, so it should be no problem knowing who to hit. Use guns or the bat you picked up and wipe them out, then Ryder will tell you to go back outside. Find a vehicle and drive him back to Grove Street to pass the mission. Mission Passed! Respect + Drive-Thru The cutscene shows a few of the GSF arguing about respect, then Smoke tells everyone he's hungry. Hungry for Chicken. Once the mission starts get in the car and make your way to Cluckin' Bell. Park in the red circle and you'll see another short cutscene where Smoke orders about thirty different meals. At the end of the cutscene a Ballas car will appear and scope the GSF out. The mission begins again here and you need to chase after the car while Ryder and Sweet hang out of the cars popping off caps into the Ballas car. Keep up with the Ballas and stay close so the guys can get decent shots at the car, and eventually it'll blow up. You now need to help them dispose of the two Ballas who usually get out and try to run away. Chase them down and mash them into the sidewalk with your car. Once they're all dead head back to the grove while enjoying the humorous ranting going on in the back of the car. Park in the red circle and after a few seconds Ryder and Sweet will exit the vehicle. Smoke wants you to take him home, so turn around and drive to his place on the radar. Park in the red circle to pass the mission. Mission Passed! $200 Respect + After the mission you'll receive a phone call from Sweet telling you to go to the gym. Following this, the Los Santos gym will be unlocked and available for use. You can head to the gym or enter Sweets red circle for another mission. Nines And AK's Carl asks the OG's about which weapons they're using now, and they tell him they aint got shit, so Smoke wants to take you to Emmets gun shop and grab a piece. When the mission starts get in the car with Smoke and make your way to Emmet's. Park in the red circle when you get there and watch the short and interesting cutscene. After that's over Smoke will show you how to aim. He'll shoot a glass bottle, then it's your turn, so hold R1 to aim and hit L1 to fire. The bottle should go up in one. After that Smoke will show you how to flick through your targets, so aim at the bottle, shoot it, then hit R2 or L2 to switch to the next target. Shoot that and the next one and Smoke will show you more. Next up is shooting while crouched. You'll see that your accuracy is much better when crouched. Hit L3 to crouch, then shoot the five glass bottles before you're given your final task which shows off a new feature. Shooting a cars gas tank. No matter which gun you use, if you hit a cars gas tank you'll blow it up first time, so manually aim at the gas tank and fire a shot. Boom. And that's Emmet's store done with. Smoke wants to go home, so take him back to his place. After the cutscene you'll receive a phone call from Sweet telling you to get some colors. There's a Binco next to the gym where you can find something green to wear. Head over there now and enter the store. Go into the changing room to the right and pick something suitable to wear. If you have the cash, I'd go for the Green Hoody and the Urban Camo, but you can customise your CJ whichever way you like. Once you've finished buying, go outside and you'll pass the mission. Mission Passed! Respect + Big Smokes Missions Are Now Unlocked. Drive-By Ryder is complaining that CJ can't drive very well, but Sweet talks Ryder into riding shotgun and leaving the driving to CJ. Once the mission starts, get in the car and drive the guys into Balla territory. When you reach the area marked on the radar, park in the red circle. After the short cutscene you'll be in charge of driving the car back and forth past the Ballas in order for the GSF members to wipe them out with a drive-by. You'll need to pass a few times in order for them to all be wiped out, but if you stay still, the car will get wrecked, so keep moving. Once the first batch are dead, head around the corner and do the same to the next lot. Same again after that, then finally move into the park and kill the remaining Ballas. If you have a submachine gun you can help out with the drive-bying or you can just use your car as a weapon. Either way once the Ballas in the park are dead, you'll have a two star wanted level, so get to the Pay N' Spray and lose the stars. Once that's done drive back to the grove and drop off your homies. Mission Passed! $500 Respect + Ryder's Missions Are Now Unlocked. You can now do Smokes missions, Ryder's missions or Sweets missions. This is one of the only parts in the game where you'll have a choice of that many, however I'll keep going with Sweet so it's back into his red circle for the next mission. Sweets Girl Carl enters Sweets house to find no one home. After going outside he gets a phone call from Sweet who is in trouble in Seville with his girlfriend. Grab a vehicle and quickly make your way over to the apartment block where Sweet is at. You'll need to go in on foot, so make sure you have a weapon. Make your way to the front of the building and wipe out all of the Seville Boulevard Families with the arrows over their heads. There's some on the road, some on the stairs and some at the other end of the building. They shouldn't be too much trouble if you know how to aim and switch between targets. Once they're dead you'll get another phone call from Sweet telling you to get a four door car and park it out front. There's a Greenwood parked half way alongside the apartment, so grab that and park it in the red circle. Sweet and his girl will get in the car, then you need to get back to Grove Street while avoiding the two cars in pursuit of you. Sweet will fire at them, but they'll most likely keep up with you until you get there. Park in the red circle and watch the small cutscene to pass the mission. Mission Passed! Respect + Cesar Vialpando Sweet and Kendl are arguing once again about who she can date. Eventually she leaves the house and says she can date whoever she wants. Sweet wants you to follow her and see what she's up to. Grab a vehicle and make your way to the garage in Willowfield. Park in the red circle when you get there and the guy who runs the mod shop will come out in a nice pimped out lowrider. He says he owes Sweet a favor so you can have the car. After the short cutscene back up into the lowrider mod garage. You can choose through a variety of options to modify your car here, however this one only accepts lowriders. Choose anything extra you want on your car, then when you're done hit triangle a few times to quit. You'll appear back outside and you now need to make your way to the lowrider meet at Unity Station. Park in the circle and a guy will ask you how much you're willing to bet on a lowrider dancing competition. Choose your wager then proceed with the competition. You need to push the right analog stick the right way at the same time the icon passes through the circle at the bottom of the screen. The closer to the middle, the better points you will get. You need to try and read the arrows as soon as possible and work out what you're doing next. If you get more points than the other guy, you'll win. After the competition, if you won, you'll see a longish cutscene where Cesar introduces himself to you. Afterwards you'll complete the mission, providing you won, and will be rewarded with double the amount you put in as your wager. Mission Passed! $2,000 After the mission, when you get out of your vehicle you'll receive a phone call from Cesar inviting you to a lowrider only street race. You have now unlocked Cesar Vialpando as a crime boss on your radar. Sweets missions are now complete too. The next mission we opened up was Smoke, so lets do his missions next. Big Smoke OG Loc Jeffrey Martin, aka OG Loc is being let out of prison today, and Sweet and Smoke want to go pick him up. When the mission starts you'll be in the car, so head to the police station and park in the red circle. During the cutscene OG Loc will tell everyone about Freddy, some guy in prison who stole his rhymes. He wants to go to his house and take care of him. You're already in the car, so drive to your new location on the radar and pay Freddy a visit. After a rather humorous cutscene, Freddy will try to escape on a bike. Luckily he's in the mood for playing and he'll stop if you get too far behind. Chase him all across town, and eventually he'll pass his house again. Shortly after that he'll come to a stop near the basketball courts alongside some of his friends, so you need to take him and them out. After that OG Loc will ask you to take him to the Burger Shot so he can sign up for a job as a 'Hygiene Technician', so grab a vehicle and make your way over to it. Park in the red circle to complete the mission. Mission Passed! Respect + OG Loc's Missions Are Now Unlocked. I always like to do things in order, and we started Big Smoke, so we're going back to work for him again, no matter how many inches we may be away from OG Loc's red circle. Running Dog Carl is surprised to see Officer Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski coming out of Smokes house. Afterwards Smoke tells you he needs to pick up his cousin, and obviously wants you to go with him. Get in Smokes car and drive him to the meet. When you get there, park in the red circle and watch the cutscene where Smoke tries to buy some drugs from some Vagos. They will tell Smoke to get lost, so as a result, he smashes one of them with a bat. The other runs away, and it's your job to hunt him down. Chase him through the gardens by hopping over the fence, then across the street. Kill the two Vagos by the soda machine then chase after the drug dealer again. As soon as you get close enough, aim at him and fire until he's gone. He's nothing special, just a random civilian so he won't take long to go down. Once he's dead you'll pass the mission. Mission Passed! Respect + Wrong Side Of The Tracks Once again, Officer Tenpenny and Pulaski can be found at Smokes house and once they're gone, Smoke gives you your orders. He wants you to drive him to Unity Station, so take his car and make your way over there. Park in the red circle when you get there and you'll see a short cutscene where a bunch of Vagos jump on a moving train. Smoke wants them dead, so jump on the Sanchez dirtbike and chase after the train. Smoke will open fire on them, and you need to drive after the train. Keep to the right and give Smoke a bigger angle to fire at the guys. Eventually you'll come to a tunnel where another train will be coming, so move out of the way of that and continue chasing the train. Once the last dude is dead, Smoke wants you to get him home before the cops show, so head to the yellow dot on the radar and drop him off. Mission Passed! Respect + Just Business Smoke wants you to drive him downtown so use his car and make your way to the yellow blip on the radar. Park in the red circle and watch the cutscene where Smoke will tell you that he's going to sort out some business. If you hear any shots fired, come in blasting. Carl barely has time to speak to a girl before Smoke is screaming for help. You'll automatically go in and crouch down, but after that you'll need to aim and shoot all of the Russians in there as quickly as possible. You should have a submachine gun from Smoke, but either way you need to shoot everyone. Stay crouched and you shouldn't take too much damage. You'll need to move slightly to take out everyone, and once they're all dead pick up their ammo and cash, as well as some body armor from behind the counter, then go out the next door with Smoke. Kill the seven or so Russians outside and head up the steps. Smoke will then get on a bike and you'll be riding shotgun for once. Face behind the bike and shoot at the bikes chasing you. You need to take out both the driver and the passenger who are shooting at you. Keep the Russians off you, and eventually you'll come to a roadblock. Blow up the three cars to the right, and kill the two Russians to the front then Smoke will get moving again. Cars, bikes and a truck will be chasing you now, so take out the closest one whenever you can. Smoke will avoid exploding cars while you need to keep shooting at the guys on the bikes. A bit after that you'll jump into a cutscene where Smoke will jump the Packer resulting in a number of Car explosions, although I don't exactly understand how that would happen. Either way after that, turn around and face forwards. Shoot the gate out leading to the tunnel and then turn back around and shoot the few bikers behind you. Shooting the explosive barrels is a good way to lose them fast. At the end of the street Smoke will lose them, then he'll drop you off near the beach and dump the bike. Mission Passed! Respect + Big Smokes missions have now been completed, so head over to the next lot of missions we unlocked, Ryder. That is, providing it's between 12:00 and 20:00 as that's the only time you can accept Ryder's next mission. If you aren't on time and don't want to wait, just save the game a few times. Remember the time advances 6 hours when you save. Ryder Home Invasion Ryder wants to rob some guys house who has a lot of weapons, however he needs to wait for it to be dark. When the mission starts drive the Boxville to Colonel Fuhrbergers house down by the beach and reverse it into the red circle. After the short cutscene where Ryder makes an idiot of himself, enter the building. You'll then be instructed on what to do in order to make less noise. Sneak, using the left analog stick. Moving it very slightly up will allow you to sneak and make almost no noise, however this only works when the ski mask is being worn. You need to pick up three boxes and take them outside to the truck. The first box can be found to the right of where you start, in the corner of the room. Walk up to it, hit triangle to pick it up, then walk out of the house and put it in the truck using triangle. After that, go back in the house and up the stairs. The next box can be found at the top of the stairs, so grab that and sneak back outside. Drop that in the truck then head back inside. You can go through the door to your right and grab the crate in there and take it to the truck. From here you can either take the truck to the lockup, or go back in and up the stairs to steal the rest of the crates. If you suck at this burglary thing then just go now, but if not, you should keep going if you have time. There is an additional crate outside the old mans bedroom, and two inside his room. You can keep robbing literally until the timer reaches Zero, providing you're outside when it does, but capturing all six crates will automatically put you in the truck and remove the timer. If you left with only three, or took all of them, you need to head to the lock up, so make your way to the yellow dot on the radar. Drive into the lockup and watch the cutscene. Mission Passed! Respect + You can now perform robbery missions between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 in a Boxville van. Head back to Ryder for another mission. Catalyst Ryder's cooking session is rudely interrupted by Tenpenny and Pulaski who inform Carl and Ryder that a train is coming through Los Santos with content which may be of some interest. After the cutscene is over drive to the yellow blip on the radar and you'll meet up with some fellow Grove Street Members. Speed through the tunnel and turn around. Get close to the train, then get out of the car and you can take care of the five or six Vagos who got to the train before you guys did without them noticing you. Kill them all and grab some ammo. Next, a bunch of Ballas will roll up, so stay in cover and take them out. Once they're gone Ryder will tell you to go check the train, so stand in the red circle and Carl will climb onto the back of the train. Now you need to throw some crates to Ryder in the back of the car. Hold down L1 to boost up your throw power, then let go and you'll throw a crate. The longer you hold L1 the further you'll throw. You'll also need to aim with the left analog stick. You need to throw ten crates to Ryder before the time runs out, which isn't really a hard task when you get used to it. You can get him to catch all ten crates in about fifteen seconds if you're good. Once they've all been caught you need to drive to the Pay N' Spray and lose the heat. After that drive back to Grove Street with the crates. Mission Passed! Respect + Robbing Uncle Sam Ryder has come up with another crazy scheme to rob the army and get some guns. He wants you to drive a truck to Ocean Docks while bugging you all the way there about being a buster. Make your way to the docks. After parking in the red circle and watching the cutscene you'll need to climb over the gate. Kill the two soldiers in there and grab their ammo, then shoot the switch to open the gate for Ryder. He'll drive in and park near the garage, so run down to there and shoot the switch to open it. Kill the two soldiers in there then Ryder will back up the truck outside. Next you need to get in the forklift truck and use it to lift boxes into the back of the truck. Using the right analog stick you can lift up and lower the forklift, so drive under a box, then lift it up, and drive it into the back of the truck. Do this with all four boxes in the garage, and the two outside, while getting out of the forklift to rid the area of soldiers whenever you hear some gun fire. Once you've done all six boxes, Ryder will jump on the back and it's up to you to drive to the lockup in Willowfield. As you approach the bridge Ryder will tell you to use the horn when you want him to throw a crate. Wait for a car to be right behind you then hit L3 and Ryder will drop a crate, hopefully blowing up the car. Make your way to Emmets gun place and park the truck to pass the mission. Mission Passed! Respect + All of Ryder's missions have been completed. Next up is OG Loc. OG Loc Life's A Beach OG Loc wants you to steal a sound system for a show he wants to do, and he says he saw one heading to the beach for a beach party. When the mission starts grab a car and head down to the beach party area. When you get there you'll be told to speak to the DJ, so go up to her and you'll be presented with a dialog box. You can choose to push left for a negative response, or right for a positive response. To be on the safe side I'd suggest being nice. Eventually she'll invite you to dance, and if you score over 4,000 points you'll get access to the sound van. Dancing is very similar to the lowrider contest, you need to push the right buttons as they scroll through the circle. The closer to perfect you get them, the more score you'll get. Keep dancing through the song and if you don't make too many mistakes you should come out with over 4,000 points so you will now be able to enter the van. Get in the drivers seat and steal the van by driving away. The chick will be thrown out and you will be chased by some crazy fools, however you can easily make it back to the garage and deliver the van for OG Loc. Mission Passed! Respect + Madd Dogg's Rhymes OG Loc has just realised he sucks at rapping, so he wants you to steal Madd Dogg's Rhyme Book from his house in the hills. After the cutscene, find a vehicle and make your way into Mulholland and towards Madd Dogg's mansion. When you reach the mansion you'll be informed that the main door is at the back of the mansion, so head down the slope to the side and enter Madd Dogg's Crib. You'll now be shown how to perform a stealth kill. Crouch down, then slowly sneak up on the guard. Hold R1 to aim at him with the knife and stand behind him. While still holding R1, push circle and you'll perform a stealth kill where you'll stab him in the neck. Once he's dead, move into the next area, hide in a shadow and wait for the next guard to go past. Sneak up on him and stealth kill him when he's not looking. Move through into the next area and you'll be told that a guard is coming, so hide in the shadows in one of the rooms to the left until he faces the swimming pool. Sneak up behind him and kill him with the knife. Head through into the next area and you'll be told to crouch past the bar to avoid being seen. Go past, then wait for the bar tender to turn around before stealth killing him. Sneak past the dude playing a game, which really sounds like a piss take of Reflections Driver game, and kill him if you wish, then move through into the next room. There is a guard watching the right, so go through the shadow room and sneak up behind him. Stealth kill him and then grab the rhyme book. The guards are now armed, so you'll need to be especially careful not to be seen. Go through the shadow room again and kill the guard standing there with your knife. Next move into the doorway for the bar room and kill that guard, then kill the guard sitting on the chair near the TV. Kill the guard at the bar once again, then continue through the house. Stay in the shadows straight through the door and wait for the next guard to walk past, then execute him, and move towards the swimming pool area. Watch him follow the pool around, then sneak behind him and cut him up. Go out the door and get back to Burger Shot. Mission Passed! Respect + You'll be given a message saying stealth can be used outside of missions after completion of this mission. You'll also receive a phone call from Tenpenny telling you to meet him at the donut place near Market. Tenpenny's Missions Are Now Unlocked. We're still going to finish up with OG Loc first though. Management Issues OG Loc is complaining at the fact he can't get a record deal and is blaming it on Madd Dogg's manager. He wants you to go and pick him up, then kill him. One of Madd Dogg's managers drivers is eating at a burger shot across town. Drive over to there and steal his car before 10PM. When you find the car, drive into it so the driver gets out. Kill him and get in the car. It's damaged, so you'll need to take it to the Pay N' Spray first. Once it's sprayed, drive to the yellow blip and park in the middle of the other cars. When the signal is given, stay in the middle of the cars and drive to the award ceremony. Pick up the manager and then speed to the pier so you can dump the car in the water. Make sure you lose the idiots chasing you by taking routes through alley ways and what not. Speed down the pier then bail from the car. It'll sail into the water and you'll remain on dry land, passing the mission. Mission Passed! Respect + Head back to OG for another mission. This one won't actually be a mission though, just a cutscene with some instructions. OG Loc quits his job as a hygiene technician and wants to do a house party so he can be heard. He wants you to get some stuff ready for the party, then meet him at his house in Grove Street between 8PM and 5AM. The game will then tell you to get a haircut and some new threads, but if you're low on cash you don't need to worry about that. Head back to Grove Street and walk in the red circle to accept the mission. A suggestion is to grab some ammo and body armor before accepting this mission though. House Party During the cutscene OG Loc will start rapping, and Ryder will take Carl out back to get away from the noise. They'll go outside and a Grove Street member will tell everyone some Ballas are coming to take them out. Sweet and another guy will get some cars to block the road, then it's up to you to take out the Ballas. The first lot of them can be found straight ahead of the road block. You'll need to move around their cars to be able to hit them all. Grab some ammo, and once they're all dead you'll see a cutscene where the Ballas are on the bridge above you. Shoot all of them, then grab some more ammo before another cutscene kicks in. This time the Ballas are coming from behind you, so turn around and head towards the alley way. There'll be some Ballas coming from behind the house, a few from the alley way, and some across the other side of the street. Keep moving and switching between targets and you should be able to take care of them no problem as they aren't very accurate. Mission Passed! Respect + After the mission you'll see a parked Tahoma in front of your house. This is sometimes pimped out with hydraulics if you wish to grab it for your garage. After this we're going to do Cesar Vialpando's missions since OG Loc's are finished. Remember you'll need a lowrider for this race, but there's no law against using Nitro on it! Take a lowrider to the mod shop and get it fitted with some Nitro, then head to CV on the radar and accept the mission. Cesar Vialpando High Stakes, Low Rider Remember to get a Nitro fitted lowrider and park in the red circle. After the cutscene Cesar will tell you to follow him as he leads you to the race. When you're back in the vehicle drive after Cesar and try to not damage your vehicle. Park in the red circle when you reach the start line and wait for the timer to hit 0, or rather say "go". Once it goes you'll be on your first race. Speed through the streets following the other cars. When you go through a checkpoint a little arrow will be above it pointing towards the next checkpoint. Take note of this and speed along the race track. You'll come to the beach, and a long stretch of road only about ten seconds into the race. I'd suggest using your nitro now. You'll warp past the few cars still in the lead, then you need to slow down and make a right turn. Speed up this street and your Nitro should wear off. From here you'll have a huge gap so just carefully drive through the remaining checkpoints which finally results in you finishing up at the docks. Mission Passed! $1,000 That's all of Cesar's missions complete for now, and if you're going the same way as me, the only thing you have left at this point in time is Tenpenny's missions. Head to the donut place. Frank Tenpenny Burning Desire Tenpenny wants you to kill a gang banger just like you so you can earn your freedom. After the cutscene you'll be outside and a message will appear stating that Tenpenny has hidden some Molotov Cocktails in an alleyway in Downtown Los Santos. Head over there and pick them up. Once you've got them you'll be told to go to the gang house and torch it. So make your way over to the yellow blip on the radar. When you get there you'll be told to smash all of the windows, so work your way around the building and shoot each of the arrowed windows out. You'll need to take care of the five or so Vagos hanging around there first though. Once they're all smashed, throw a Molotov cocktail into each one. Be careful not to get caught in the blast though, or you'll slowly burn to death. I'd suggest starting at the back of the house and taking out those three windows. After that a Vagos car will appear in front so head around there and kill them, then set fire to the other two windows. Now the house is burning to the ground, but wait! You've trapped a girl! Now you need to save her. For what reason I do not know, however now you need to battle your way through fire while a girl slowly starts to die. Enter the house and go through the door on the left a small way down. Work your way through the doors which aren't on fire, and grab the fire extinguisher in the kitchen. From there you need to head upstairs and put out the fires leading to the girl. Put out the fire outside her door, then go inside and meet up with her. After a short cutscene the building will start to collapse, so head straight forward and go to the right where you can put out another fire. Head through the door on the right and put out another fire, then head down the stairs with the girl. Work your way towards the door and put out any more fires so you can make a clean escape. As you exit the building the girl will kiss you and thank you for saving her life. She now wants you to take her home, so make your way to her house near Grove Street. After you drop her off she'll become your girlfriend and you can drop by her place whenever she's in to go on a date. Mission Passed! After you exit your vehicle Sweet will call you and tell you there's a dude at Glen Park who is disrespecting the GSF. He wants you to make a mess of it, however we're not going there yet, it's back to Tenpenny to finish off his missions. Gray Imports Tenpenny tells you that he likes watching gangs blow the shit out of each other, but dislikes it when one gang has an advantage over another. The Ballas are getting a lot of weapons imported down by the docks and he wants you to check it out. Head to the docks. When you get there, park in the red circle. You'll be told to find a way into the area, however I wouldn't advise just walking through the door. Park your car next to the wall to the right and jump on that, then jump over the wall. Head around the back of the building and you should be able to take out the four or five guards without too much trouble. Shoot the switch on the wall to open the warehouse, then make your way in. Work your way through the rows or crates, taking out the five or so guards located in there, then you'll get to a staircase. Shoot the five enemies here, and go up the stairs where you'll need to kill two Ballas and a Russian crimelord. He'll escape, so chase after him and keep shooting. If you picked up any armor on the way through just ignore the few enemies shooting you and sprint after the Russian. Keep shooting him and he'll eventually get in a car. He'll get straight back out if you're close enough and you can just fire a few rounds into him to kill him. Mission Passed! Respect + All of Tenpenny's missions have now been completed. We're going to see Sweet again. Sweet Doberman This mission is located at Ammu-Nation. Sweet wants you to head into Glen Park, Ballas territory and wipe out the Ballas so you claim that area as your own. Go into Ammu-Nation if you need a weapon or some armor, then make your way to Glen Park. Once there you need to exit the vehicle and find some Ballas to kill on foot. Killing three or four of them in quick succession will result in a gang war being started. You'll need to hold your position and take out the groups of Ballas who come to take the territory back. Use your radar to see where they are coming from, then kill them when they get close enough. After you survive the first wave, another will come. This time they will have much more powerful weapons and better accuracy. Do the same again, and take them out. Take out the final wave of enemies, and you'll take over the area. A short cutscene will explain how territory works, then you'll be ordered to take out the grass. He's really easy to kill. A few shots with a pistol should kill him. Mission Passed! Respect + Gang Wars Have Now Been Unlocked. You can now purchase weapons from Ammu-Nation. Los Sepulcros The Ballas are at a funeral, similar to the GSF's at the start of the story, and Sweet wants to head along there and take them out. When the mission starts you will be told to get some help for the mission. There are two Grove Street Families members standing around, you can recruit these to your gang and get them to come along with you on the mission. Hold R1 to target them, then push up or down to ask them if they want to help you. If your respect is high enough they'll follow you. Do the same to both of them, get in the car, then make your way to the funeral. Get there as quickly as possible, because you need to arrive before Kane, and as usual, when you do, park in the red circle. After the cutscene, jump over the wall and meet up with Sweet. He'll tell you to kill Kane and his gang members, so head to the red dot on the radar, kill all of the Ballas and Kane as he tries to run away, then get in the car marked on the radar. Head to the Pay N' Spray just up the road to lose the heat, then drive the guys back into Grove Street carefully. You can't lose the car because Sweet is in no mood to get out. Mission Passed! Respect + Reuniting The Families The guys think it's time to reunite the families once and for all. The Ballas have been pumping their guys full of base for too long and Sweet has asked all of the families to meet up at the Jefferson Motel to sort out their differences. Get in the car and make your way to the Jefferson Motel with the crew. As you park in the red circle you'll see a cutscene where Sweet goes in the building and a large group of SAPD guys come out of the sky in helicopters. Smoke and Ryder get the hell out of there, however Carl says he needs to go in and save his brother. When you're back in the game, quickly enter the motel using the door you're next to. Try to stay away from the cops out front because you don't need to get shot yet. Move up the stairs and take out the two cops up there, then the three who will bust through the door a little way up. If you get hurt, enter the room to the left at the top of the stairs and a sexy lady will kiss you and regenerate some health for you. Continue along the hall way. Kill the few cops who come through the roof, and the few along the next hall way. If you are almost dead, head back downstairs and buy some Sprunk from the soda machine. One dollar a shot will fill up your health quick, then get back up and continue looking for Sweet. You'll pass a chick in the hall way at the end, so kill all of the cops in there, then go back and into the room to the right. The girl will kiss you and give you a lot of health back. Make your way along the hall way again. Cops will roll out of the two rooms to the left and right, so kill them, then go in the room to the right to meet up with Sweet. after the cutscene you'll be on the roof where a helicopter is chasing you. Use whichever weapon you have and shoot down all of the SWAT members on the heli, then fire a few more rounds at the chopper before it goes down. Follow Sweet down the stairs and you'll be reunited with Smoke and Ryder. You'll be in the car, and riding shotgun this time with an AK47. You are being chased by a lot of cops, so shoot the cars chasing you and keep your car safe. Aim for the cops in the windows, but if you're finding it difficult, just fire at the cars until they blow up. Keep firing at the cop cars as you speed along, and eventually a cop on a bike will jump onto the front of the car and punch you in the face. Take care of him with your AK and keep shooting the following cars. Eventually another cop will jump on the back and your gun is jammed, so just watch the game while a helicopter decides to slice up the cop on the car. The guys will then drive through a Sprunk sign which results in a huge explosion, and they'll be safe at the top of the hill after bailing from the car. Mission Passed! Respect + The Green Sabre Sweet has decided it's time to wipe out the Ballas once and for all. He gives a speech to the GSF and tells them to get ready to fight. Afterwards he tells you to meet him under the Mulholland Intersection. As you go outside you'll get a phone call from Cesar. He says he's got something you need to see, but CJ explains he's busy. Eventually CJ decides to see what Cesar wants, so you need to drive to the yellow blip and meet up with Cesar. When you get there, you'll be told to get into the car, so do it and watch the cutscene. It appears Smoke and Ryder know more about the Green Sabre which killed Carl's mom than they were letting on. They're seen mixing with some Ballas. After the cutscene Carl tells Cesar to take Kendl to a safe place, meanwhile he has to save Sweet. Get in the car and drive like hell to the meet under the Mulholland Intersection. Park in the red circle and kill all of the Ballas, then kill the reinforcements they send. After everyone's dead you'll see a cutscene where Sweet is arrested, and you're taken to the middle of nowhere. Tenpenny and Pulaski are telling you that they want you to kill a witness and get evidence that he won't be talking. After the cutscene you'll be in Angel Pine, a brand new area which you've just unlocked, right alongside Mount Chiliad. There's a save icon right across the street and you can enter the G to start the mission for Tenpenny. You have now unlocked the countryside. Frank Tenpenny's Missions Have Now Been Unlocked.
