2. INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this FAQ is to give a detailed listing of all the stats for the
231 cars that appear in the game. As you will know, the amount of information
available on each vehicle is quite amazing and it has taken some time to piece
it all together. I have tried various ways of presenting the information in a
readable manner and I hope I have settled on the right one! It's amazing how
restricting a 79 character line can be when you have a stack of information to
put into it. What I am trying to avoid is an FAQ that prints a 100 pages out
once its finished. Any feedback on the design will be appreciated.

3. STAT ABBREVIATIONS

To fit in as much info on a line as possible I have had to abbreviate all of
the various categories. I'm sure most of you will catch on but for those who
don't this is how it breaks down on the example below:


1954 MERCEDES 300SL GULLWING COUPE

The top line is obviously the year, manufacturer and model of the car.

CL: D1 = The sub class of the car; ie. D1.

COST: 78K = The cost of the car in thousands; ie 78K.

D/E: R-F = The Drivetrain/Engine Placement (D/E). The example here shows R-F
           which means Rear Wheel Drive - Front Engine. Drivetrain can only be
           F for front, A for all and R for rear. Engine placement can only be
           F for front, M for mid and R for rear. 

SPD: 5.4 = This is the rated speed of the car (out of 10.0).

ACC: 5.1 = This is the rated acceleration of the car (out of 10.0).  

BRK: 4.3 = This is the rated braking ability of the car (out of 10.0).

COR: 4.3 = This is the rated cornering ability of the car (out of 10.0).

RAR: 7.2 = This is the rated rarity of the car (out of 10.0).


NOTE: THE STATS USED IN THIS FAQ ARE WHEN YOU CHOOSE EUROPE AS THE HOME REGION.
      AS FAR AS I AM AWARE THE REGION AFFECTS THE RARITY AND COST STATS ONLY.

5. CONCLUSION

It has taken me several days to put this FAQ together and I hope many of you
will find it useful. As far as I know this is the only FAQ of this type on the
net at the moment!

If any of you can suggest ways to improve this guide further then please let
me have your comments.

As a closing thought, if your aim is to eventually own all the 231 cars in the
game, then it will cost you 32,330,000 credits!!!!!
