This time I am writing for Fable on the Xbox. This should be another fun write, especially since the game was enjoyable. Fable is an action RPG, where you get to level up and shape your character's life. I would compare this to Kingdom Hearts, if you are wondering whether you should buy it. I will be covering all of the aspects of the game to the best of my ability. Enjoy the guide. === 1.1 - Legal Information ===========================================ma_l1=== This guide is (c) copyright to nintendomaster14, author. We will basically give you the essentials in completing this game, and a little background information on the characters. === 2.1 - Story =======================================================ma_st=== (Taken straight from the Fable manual) Congratulations are in store for you. The fact you have been proved with the Book of the Guild means you must be one of a lucky few with enough potential to be invited here as a Hero apprentice. We consider this text sacred and even, I would say, magical. You would be wise to study it carefully from cover to cover in order to unveil its many secrets. The task ahead of you will not be an easy one. Only through years of hard work can you hope to unleash your latent powers. During its long history the guild has seen many apprentices fail through idleness and overconfidence, and I would be sorry to see one with potential such as you throw it all away. Albion needs its Heroes now more than ever. Becoming a Hero of Renown means achieving great things, and to accomplish less than greatness is to have done next to nothing at all. You must understand that, for the Guild, greatness has no bearing with regard to perceived good or evil. No, it has more to do with the Renown one achieves through actions, regardless of mortality. Be forewarned that the work necessary to become a Hero is not to be taken half-heartedly. On the contrary, this will be a most gruelling and arduous training, encompassing all aspects of mind, body, and spirit. I say this without a wisp of doubt. We require that you apply yourself as never before, but having done that, the rewards and Renown you may achieve are unimaginable. This said, if you do finally graduate from this Heroes' Guild, you may even one day be acknowledged as the greatest hero ever to stride the cobbled paths of Albion. Statues have been erected all over the land in honour of those few Great Ones who came before you, those laid to rest and permanently entombed at the Guild. We may only hope our success in training you will one day flame your successes throughout Albion, coarse a place as it is. Go now, and seek your destiny! === 2.2 - Controls ====================================================ma_co=== Y: Parry or block an attack. X: Swing a sword, shoot an arrow, or perform magic spell. A: Action Button, used for communicating and checking items. B: Hold to run; Flourish, an unguardable attack. L Trigger: Lock on to opponents. R Trigger: Hold to gain experience orbs; hold to go into magic mode White: Take out/put away melee weapon. Black: Take out/put away ranged weapon. Back: Inventory. Start: Pause menu. D-Pad: View gained expressions and items. === 2.3 - Leveling Up =================================================ma_lu=== Leveling up is really rather simple. Once you complete the Hero's Guild, you will be given the option to upgrade your skills using experience orbs that you collect throughout the game. These experience orbs are green orbs that appear after you kill enemies. There are four types of orbs that you can collect: General, Strength, Skill, and Will. ----------------------- General Experience Orbs ----------------------- These are really very basic. When you kill any enemy, you will notice green orbs floating at their corpse. Basically, you can hold R or simply run into these orbs, and collect them. Once you have collected them, you can trade the orbs in for new and more powerful abilities. General Experience Orbs can be used in any of the three other categories, depending on what ability you are purchasing. ------------------------ Strength Experience Orbs ------------------------ Strength Experience Orbs are the same as general experience orbs, but can only be used for attributes that apply to strength. You can gain strength experience orbs by killing enemies using your melee weapon. Use the white button to equip your weapon and attack the enemies. --------------------- Skill Experience Orbs --------------------- Skill Experience Orbs are the same as general experience orbs, but can only be used for attributes that apply to skills. You can gain skill experience orbs by killing enemies using your ranged weapon. Use the black button to equip your weapon and attack the enemies. -------------------- Will Experience Orbs -------------------- Will Experience Orbs are the same as general experience orbs, but can only be used for attributes that apply to magic. You can gain will experience orbs by killing enemies using your learned magic. Hold down R to enter the magic mode, then hit other buttons to use various magic spells. Trade all of these experience orbs from all enemies, and you will level your character up however you choose! Enjoy. ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ |***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***| 3. Pick whatever you would like, then watch the initial cutscenes that explain what is going on in your life. You will then enter reality you will see your father. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #1: Oakvale |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ As you begin your game, you will hear from your father that it is your sister's birthday and you must complete some good deeds to gain gold pieces. You are then supposed to use these gold pieces to buy your sister a nice birthday present. More on that later. For now, head down the path leading to the first green dot on the mini-map. These green dots represent "Hot Spots". In other words, you will always want to check these areas and speak to the people who are highlighted in green for some possible quest or something important. You will notice that the first of these green dots is behind a large house. You hear a man speaking lovingly to a woman. Talk to the man, and he will ask you to keep his relationship with the women a secret. Ha, you wish. Since we are to perform nice deeds, we must tell the wife the truth. The wife is located at the golden dot, which tells you the next area. Head down the path and you will reach the middle of town. Speak to the women in green, which is the wife, and tell her the situation. Once you complete this deed, head to your father and collect the gold piece. Now head to another green dot, whichever you choose. Both are located from the center of town, where you found the wife. I would recommend talking to the man with the barn full of barrels. Offer to protect his barn while he runs and does his business. A boy will come along and dare you to break into the barrels to see what is inside. He mocks you, but ignore him and keep your promise. Once you have completed this deed for the allotted time, the man will come back and thank you by expressing your dutifullness to your father. Head back to the old man and get the second gold piece. Now, head to the other green dot just near the last one. This quest involves a bit more action. A bully is picking on a little boy, which is obviously not very nice. The little boy will call for your help, so when you enter normal mode, lock on to the bully using L, then press X to throw some good punches in his direction. Once you finish that, you will gain a Teddy Bear, which you must give to the little girl for the fourth and final and optional deed. Rosie, the little girl, is also marked with the green dot. Just head to her near the center of town, and give her the Teddy Bear for yet another gold piece. Now that you have collected 4 gold pieces, head to the trader in the center of town, another green dot. Buy the box of chocolates for your sister. Now you must find your sister. To do this, follow the gold spot on the map. This will lead to her in a field of scarecrows...Watch the next cutscene, and on to the next area. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #2: Hero's Guild |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ -------------- Child Training -------------- Welcome to the Hero's Guild. Apparently you have been chosen to be a Hero, and you must complete training to achieve this. Your roomate is Whisper, and she will wake you up for your first lesson. You are to meet the Guildmaster for some melee practice as soon as possible. First, head right through the open door, then head over towards the shelves of books, which leads you to the Guild Library. You can click the action button (A Button) on the blue lighted bookshelves, which gain books and knowledge of certain aspets of the game. Once you are done with that, head outside, passed the dining hall. Before we go to the melee training, let's complete a few side missions, eh? Head right, then into the garden area. There is a guy who keeps saying "YES I AM!" Wow, this is really annoying. Anyway, he says he ran to the Demon Door and back, from where you are standing, in 50 seconds. Meh, that is easy to beat. Just offer to play, then right when it starts, hold B down and head back where you came from. Head passed the bridge straight in front of you. Then turn right to get to another bridge. Cross the stone steps that follow to lead to the Demon Door. Run into the wall, then head back. This really should be easy, so you shouldn't have much work. The second small quest, which isn't very useful at all, is collecting four apples for a servent who needs to make an apple pie. There is one apple that is right before the entrance to the Guild Woods. Head to the right from here and you will run into another apple along the side. Continue towards the patch of scarecrows to find another apple. Just to the west of this apple is another on the ground. Really, this should be a simple task. Head back to the servent and claim your blueberry pie. Ok, enough playing around. Let's get back to our main objective, and speak to the Guildmaster, highlighted with gold on the map. He will give you basics of melee righting. Simply hit the scarecrow a few times by punching using the X button. He will give you a stick to use, which is a little more powerful and will allow you to destroy this scarecrow. Now, head over to the Guild Woods where you claimed that one apple. Meet the Guildmaster again and you will have to go through a small melee test. In these woods are 10 Beetles. You have to melee them with your stick weapon, which can be equipped using the white button. They are marked as red dots on your mini-map. Just head to the back of the woods and continuously swing at them. There is not real point of parrying their attacks, just chop 'em up. Once you have killed all of them, collect the Orbs, then head back out of the woods and speak to the man. Choose to be an apprentice. ------------------- Apprentice Training ------------------- So you are waken by Whisper, the same girl, only you are much older now. You have gone through light training, but you must embark on dangerous quests soon, so your training will be more vigorous. She says she will race you to the melee combat arena, but it really is not a race. Take your time exploring the area if you so choose, then head to the same melee arena as before. Here, you will be given an Iron Longsword. Simply attack your foe a few times, and she will only parry your attacks. Next, you will learn the parry technique, which is simply pressing the Y button. You will have to actually hit Whisper in this round, but nothing special. Finally, you will have to fight Whisper in a real match, which could reflect who is the "better" Hero for now. Don't worry, this is really easy. Just attack her constantly, and she will NEVER hit you. Really easy as long as you keep locked on. Once you have destroyed her and her older mentor comes, you will follow the Guildmaster to the archery range for more training. At the archery range, you will have to equip your bow. Simply press the black button to do this. Then, lock onto a target and press the X Button to shoot an arrow. The first targets are just standing still, which should be really easy. The second round involves you hitting three sets of targets. You can go into first person mode if you want, by pressing R3. The back set is worth 9, the middle is worth 6, and the front if worth 3. The harder you shoot these targets the more points you get. This will be very similar for your grade later on. Finally, head over to the island and speak to the Guildmaster to learn the way of magic. Simply hold R and use the lightning spell by pressing X, to hit the scarecrows. Once you complete this, choose to "Play With Whisper" to complete some extra quests. ---------- Melee Test ---------- I bet you want some better weapons. Well, simply pass a few tests with A+ marks and you will get a new bow and sword. First, head back to the melee arena. You will be judged in a real match with Whisper, once again. I found this to be just as easy as the first one, where you simply have to hack at Whisper and you will automatically gain an A+. For your "Amazing" efforts, you will be awarded with an Iron Katana. ------------ Archery Test ------------ Now, head over to the archery range where you can try the archery test. You have to get over 150 points to gain an A+, which seems rather difficult at first. Basically, you have to hit the targets with power, because this will give you many more points. The first target really does not give much, and if you only go for that target, you will have no chance of winning. Instead, head into first person mode and aim for the last target. Wait until it reaches an end for an easier strike. If you hit these with full force, you will gain an enormous amount of points. Do this a few times and you will gain a Yew Bow. --------- Will Test --------- Finally, let us complete the Will Test, which involves hitting the scarecrows in sequence, as they are racing you. You can lock onto the scarecrows quickly by pressing the L Button. Simply go back and forth very, very quickly and you will gain a Will Potion and Resurrection Phial if you hit 12. Now, for the final section of the Guild area, you can choose two optional quests, based on whether you would like to be good or bad. If you want to be good, head to the Guild Woods and play with Whisper. Bandits will attack you from beyond, and should use your magic spells to take them out. Whisper will heal you, so you should not have any problems. Let's say you want to take the evil side. This will involve Sparrow Hunting, which can be found towards the entrance to the Guild Castle. Just use your first person mode and take out the several birds all on the castle roof ahead. Get all your extra money if you wish, and then head for your final test. ---------- Final Test ---------- The final test is in the Guild Woods with Maze, the man who brought you here. So, head to the Guild Woods and speak with Maze. He will tell you to show him the three techniques that you learned. Just hit him with your swords before he transports. After you do this several times, do the same with your bow. Try to hit stronger shots to make him happier. Finally, use your lightning magic spells to complete the task. Just so you know, Maze never attacks you, so don't get too scared. Now you can graduate from this area and learn all about experience and leveling up. See the leveling up section for more information. Check out the map in the center of this area and take a quest card, which is just a new quest. The quests marked in gold are main quests, and the quests marked in silver are secondary quests. Take Wasp Menace. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #3: Wasp Menace |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ Now that you have graduated from the Guild, you can explore the world freely and shape your life narrower. Of course, if you want to continue with the game, you must check out the map at the Guild and choose a quest card, as you have done for this quest. Head out the front door and continue through Lookout Point until you reach vines that can be locked on to. Chop these up and head to the Silver Key, used to open special chests. Now, continue down the path to the next Gold point on the map, and you will enter the Picnic Area, where the Wasps are harassing a bunch of villagers. The townspeople will ask for your help, killing the pesky wasps in the area. The quest start screen will pull up, showing the bounties achievable for completing this quest. Once you have full control, you can kill the wasps. They are all very easy, no matter what type of attacks you use, but I would strongly recommend you use all three attacks: sword, bow, and magic. These will give you more variety in experience points (unless you want to only concentrate on one category). Once you kill all of the wasps, the people will thank you, and tell others about your bravery. You will gain your renown and gold as you finish, then you can teleport back to the Guild. However, I would recommend that you do a few side quests before embarking on the next quest. --------------------------- Sidequest: Beggar and Bully --------------------------- This is very short, simply head back to the Lookout Point, where you came through to get to the Picnic Area. You will notice a green dot up the hill from the entrance to the Guild Area. There is the same freaking bully that was harrassing the young children. This time he is putting up with a beggar. If you want bad marks, you will want to throw up on the beggar, effectively helping the bully. If you want good marks, you will want to fart on the bully, which will make him go away. Either way, you will complete this very easy sidequest. Now, head back to the Hero's Guild, and take the new quest card, which says to meet Maze in Bowerstone South, marked on your mini-map. This means a new quest! /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #4: Maze's Information |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ From the Guild, you can easily get to Bowerstone South, your next destination. The actual quest is very easy, you just head to the area (no enemies) and speak to the Gold marked area, which is where Maze is. However, there are a few sidequests along the way, which would be a good idea to complete since this quest is not really a quest at all. Once you get to Bowerstone South, the guard will take all of your weapons because the town is "peaceful". As you enter, walk into the Clothing shop, and out to the top of the area. There will be another Silver Key. ---------------------------- Sidequest: Fist Fighter Gang ---------------------------- This sidequest is good if you want to make some easy cash this early on in the game. Basically, you are to meet a set of gang members at the midnight. Once they appear for their nightly gang fighting, you can speak to the leader and enter the tournament for a price of 50 gold. However, if you win the tournament you will gain up to 350 gold! I should warn you that this will be very simple, so the price is really worth it. Anyway, there are four rounds, where the first three rounds are very similar punching fights. Parry when needed, then punch them a few times. Just repeat this and you can easily take out the first three enemies. The fourth round involves a fight with the leader, who throws more attacks than the previous three. However, he is still very easy, and you should have little trouble defeating him. If you do not get hit, you will win 350 gold. If you do get hit, but still win, you will gain 250 gold. Not bad, eh? -------------- Ok, back to the main quest. Speak to Maze in the town and he will talk about the possibility that your sister is still alive from the tragic killings of your childhood home. Head back to the Guild for the next quest. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #5: Orchard Farm |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ You have two options in this quest. You can either help the man and his wife save his crates in his barn, or you can help the bandits steal the crates. I think you can tell which side will give you good or bad marks. Anyway, choose whichever you want, and then follow the Gold markers on your mini-map. You will enter Greatwood Entrance. There are a few things you can do here before you actually enter the Orchard quest. The first is speaking with Whisper, which is pretty boring. Notice the red dots in this area. Don't worry, there are just a few simple enemies, like the ones you have already killed. Once you have taken them all out, head east and grab the chest and items. Use the Will Elixir for an increase in capacity. Now, before going to the Orchard Farm to the west, you will want to go northwest to Fisher's Creek for another sidequest. ----------------------- Sidequest: Fisher Creek ----------------------- Before actually fishing, you have to help the man who will teach you. There are several wasps swarming the outside of his house. Just kill them all with any type of attack method. Once you have completed that, grab the experience and speak to the man. He will teach you how to fish and give you a rod to fish with. Your main objective is to gain the Gold Fish Trophy. To do this, you have to continuously fish at the pier that he mentions. To fish, simply wait until a fish bites, then tap A as fast a possible. Once the fish bites again, wait a moment, then tap A. You don't want to continuously tap A, or your line will break. After you claim your new prize, you can obtain a few other items in this region. Behind the man's house is a chest that will give you Leather Gauntlets. You can obtain 100 gold, a Moonfish, a Silver Key, and a Working Moustache card in the water right next to the chest. Once you have obtained all of these, you can exit this area and complete the quest. -------------- Head to the Gold marker to Greatwood Lake. Head to the right, up the hill to gain a Silver Key. Then head left across the bridge and take out the red dots, which are simple enemies. Use combinations of attacks, or your B button Flourish attack when applicable. Once you are finished, head to the Gold marker to enter Orchard Farm. I chose to defend the farm, but you can chose to attack the farm depending on the type of marks you want. If you are defending, you will have to face three sets of bandits, who will all come down a narrow path towards the barn. The key to this is having a bow and arrow stretched out, ready to kill at least one of them. Don't bother trying to kill a second, they will get to you too quickly. Kill the rest with magic or melee weapons. The next set will have one more bandit, but the same strategy applies. If they get passed you, shoot arrows at them to make sure they don't steal anything. The last set of bandits is the same as the first. Take out the archers as soon as possible, because they can take valuable damage. If you ever get low on life, just use potions or food (right D-Pad) to gain life. If you are on the other side of this quest, you must take out the companions that were helping me on the other side of the quest. The other bandits will do all the stealing. You have to escort the three sets of bandits with the crates to the north of the farm. Either way, you must fight Whisper at the end of the quest, which is, of course, SIMPLE! She teaches you to flourish, which appears as the B button when you have attacked her a few times. She cannot block Flourishes, so use them whenever you can. Just keep swinging and she will eventually fall as usual. Before leaving this area, there are a few items you can pick up. First, head behind the farm and collect the Jet gemstone in the chest. Take the eastern path to the next marker to find another chest with a Treasure Clue 5. Also if you head east you will find a fishing area, where you can collect a Silver Key and a Coron Visor Tattoo, as well as an Elixir of Life. Head back to the Guild for another quest. You have two options at this point: The long Darkwoods escort quest, or the Hobbes Killing Contest Quest. The latter is much shorter and optional, so let us get through that first. --------------------------------- Sidequest: Hobbes Killing Contest --------------------------------- At Lookout Point, you will meet the trader who needs to be escorted to Orchard Farm, so accept the offer of over 600 gold, then press down on the D-Pad for the "Follow" command. He will follow you until you get to the destination. Head to the Gold marker to the Greatwood Entrance. Of course, in this next area there are the basic enemies that you have already fought before. They are all marked as Red dots on your mini-map, so you have precautions before entering the battles. Just have the trader follow you, unless you want to get him to the destination without harm (you get a gemstone prize if you do). If you want this minor prize, simply place him in a safe area while you fight all the enemies. Either way, you should have no problem escorting him to the next area, Orchard Farm. Your goal here is to kill more Hobbes than Whisper (which, again, is not that hard). There are several types of Hobbes, some that carry axes, and others that perform magic. The magic Hobbes are much easier to kill than the latter, so look for them whenever possible. Also, as Whisper is attacking some of the enemies, you can use her damage to your advantage and take out the rest of the enemies. If you get more, which should easily happen, you will gain the Hobbe's Tooth Trophy as well as the quest credentials. Before leaving this area, you can fish in the water for another Silver Key. Head back to the Hero's Guild to embark on the next major quest. -------------- Back in the Hero's Guild, choose the quest that escorts the traders through the Darkwoods. Just as a pre-warning, this quest is going to be, by far, the longest quest you have encountered thus far in the game. If you have little time on your hands, do not start the quest, because you cannot save in the middle of quests. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #6: Trader Escort |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ We have to get to a new area, the Darkwoods, but to get there, we will pass through a few old areas. First head through Lookout Point, to the Gold marker on the map. Then Greatwood Entrance will lead you to Greatwood Lake, each having its fair share of enemies. Simply take them out using whichever type of abilities you enjoy, then move to Greatwood Gorge, where you will witness a cutscene that warns you of a Bandit toll ahead. Hah, like we are going to pay those fools. Instead, do not pay the 400 gold, and kill all of the Bandits that attack you. Trust me, you really should do this, it won't hurt you even if you are on the good side. Continue to the next region, Greatwood Cullis Gate. A Bandit will charge at you from the left, so take him out as planned. Head down the path to the left and you will notice the teleport to this area. Head back and take the path to the right this time. There will be Bandits already fighting Traders, so take them out. Then, you will be asked to go south, but instead, head north for a few extra items. There is a Demon Door in Rose Cottage. Use the chocolates for this Demon Door, then head in and grab the items from the chest, Will User Bright armor. Head back out and head into the cottage to find a Silver Key. There is a chest with a lot of gold passed some vines that you can destroy, but you get bad marks for doing this. It is up to you. Anyway, head back and take the southern path. This area, Greatwood Caves, is very simple. Several Hobbes enemies will try to attack you, but they can easily be killed using arrows from a distance. At the end of the area, you can head through the door to the next area, the Darkwoods. You have a few traders following you, but as you run down the path, a sickly looking man will ask to join you. If you want good points, accept, if you want bad points, reject. Then head to the next area. Watch the cutscene of the enemy attacking a Trader. Then, it will come for you and your company! Don't worry, shoot an arrow as soon as possible, then melee it out. Grab the Jet gemstone from the chest on the left, then head down the steps to get to a small marsh full of pads and mushrooms. Shoot all of these exploding muchrooms before crossing the marsh, then cross and head to the next area. You will have a spiral path here, where a few sets of bandits will attack you and the traders. I would advise having an arrow ready to launch before you are fighting them, so you can pick at least one of them off. Try to use Force Push, or other spells to keep them away from the Traders. There will be a second set of Bandits, just like the first, who will apply the same strategy. Head to the water and grab the chest to your right, which contains gold. As you make your away across the water, notice a rock with a hole. Shoot an arrow through this hole to make a Silver Key come out. Then head to the next area. The Darkwood Camp is like a rest area. You can open chests and get some items that will help replenish yourself. You can also play Blackjack, although I would advice not much playing, as you can lose a lot of money. You know how gambling works...Anyway, head down the path, take the north path to get to a chapel. Inside here you can find an Assassin Shirt. Then, head back to the southern path. This next area is full of Bandits. Just take them all out as you usually do, and use food when necessary. Also, you can fish off the first bridge to gain a Silver Key. If you open the treasure chest ahead, your Trader that you picked up will turn into another enemy! Take him out, that pathetic creature. Head out to the final area of this quest. You will have a boss fight in this area, so get ready. Basically, you should head to the end of the area to the large Red dot. This large creature will pop out of the ground, and the boss fight will begin. ======================= Boss Fight: Earth Troll ======================= This boss is pretty easy if you know what to do. I would recommend using all arrows on this guy. Basically, stand back, pull arrows back, and shoot them at him as much as possible. He will throw two rocks in a row, one at you, and one to the right or left of you, depending on the direction you are moving. To dodge these rocks, simply press the Y Button, which will have your character roll out of the way. You can simply repeat this process of shooting charged arrows at him, then dodging the rocks. No other attacks are necessary. I would advise that you not get too close, because he has a very powerful Force Push that could deplete you of your energy very quickly. Once he is dead, head back and break the barrels, which will give you a Golden Carrot. Then take the Traders to the next area to complete the quest. -------------- In Barrow Fields, you will gain your gold and experience! Ah, that feels good completing a long quest like that. You can gain another Golden Carrot by digging in the middle of the rocks. You can obtain gold from fishing in the river as well. Speak to Maze to complete this area, then you can head back to the Hero's Guild for a new quest card. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #7: Find the Bandit Seeress |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ To begin this quest, you must head to Oakvale, towards the beach area, as your quest description says. I would just teleport there, but you can get there the long way gaining experience on the way. Anyway, once you are there, head to the beach, then to the right you will find a cave entrance at the end. This will lead you to Clifftop Patch. In Clifftop Patch, you will be introduced to the stealth aspect of this game. Like most games that do this, stealth is pretty much pointless. Anyway, head to where the Bandits are, then kill them all. I can't really figure out how to get passed them here. Wait until the gates close, then kill the rest of the Bandits. Once they are dead, you will have some extra time before the gates reopen, and more guards come, to find a good hiding place. Head towards the gate, and hide behind the left boulder. Wait until the guards reenter the area, then wait until they pass. Make your way out to the next area. Now you must enter the Anbandoned Road. Watch the short cutscene of the Bandits speaking. They say you must have Bandit clothing to get into the next area. There are five treasure chests in this area, and you must collect all of them, each with a piece of apparel. Kill the Bandits that were talking, then make your way down the path to the next set of Bandits. I would recommend using Force Push if you have it, especially when the Bandits surround you. Grab the Bandit Boots from the chest here, then head up to the next area, killing more Bandits. To your right is another chest with the Bandit Shirt. There are more Bandits just up the ramp to the south, leading to the watch area. Just kill those two guys for fun, then head down the path. Continue to find two more sets of Bandits. Since they are far away, you should be able to pick at least one off with your Ranged weapon. After that, they will charage at you, so prepare your melee weapon. You will find the Bandit Trousers in the chest near the tent. As you make your way up, you will notice some more Bandits to the right, as well as some straight ahead. I would take them all out, then grab the chest to your left, containing the Bandit Bandana. Finally, grab the last chest and kill the final enemies to gain the Bandit Gloves. If you head around the path, you can find another chest for some items. Once you are all done, head to the Golden marker to get to the next area. In here, you must put all your Bandit equipment on, then speak to the guard. This will permit you into the next area. Now in Twinblade Camp, you must find a special pass to get to the "elite" section of the camp. There are a few ways to get this pass. The safest way is to play the memory game with the man in the tent. You must memorize a few items on a table, then the items are covered. A new item is placed on the table, and based on your memory, you must pick the item that is new. If you beat the time of 35 seconds in 5 rounds, you will gain a pass. If you can't seem to beat this, you can kill a Bandit who has one, when you speak to them. Of course, you could always pay them lots of gold for one, but that is just a waste of money. In the next area, Twinblade's Elite Camp, you can smash some of the barrels to gain some valuable items. I would also recommend you put your best apparel on, because you are about to fight a few tough battles. The first one is up the hill, with a bunch of cages and a green dot. There are prisoners in these cages, and the Bandit has the key. You must kill him, using powers and shots. Once he is dead, grab the Key, unlock the cage, then head out the gates after the guards chase the escapers. Now you meet a nice showdown with Twinblade. ===================== Boss Fight: Twinblade ===================== Twinblade is not really hard, he just looks really scary. He has two huge blades that he will basically be swinging throughout the entire battle. You are going to want to roll out of his way whenever he tries to attack you. After about 10 seconds, he will swing both swords into the ground, then attempt to pull them out. Well, all you really have to do is hit him in the back. You can only hit him twice, the rest don't count. Continue this process, waiting about ten seconds, until he performs that sticking attack. There is absolutely no other way to hit him. Once his health is low, but not finished, you will view a cutscene. Your sister is here! She is in servitude with the Bandits, and she gives you a new power. Anyway, you must either spare or kill the leader. The harder method is killing him, because then the Bandits all come and attack you. If you want bad marks, do this. Remember, you pretty much need Force Push, or you are dead. -------------- Grab all the items (lots of gold) in the tent. Then, to actually complete the quest, and obtain your massive amount of renown, experience, and gold, head back out to the previous area. Then, once you have obtained your goods, you should teleport back to the Hero's Guild, where you must meet up with Maze. Speak to Maze at the top of the tower, and he will ask you to find the Archaeologist. You must go to Witchwood, and there is a new Cullis teleport to get there. Use your experience as necessary, then embark on the next quest. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #8: Find the Archaeologist |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ First we must head to Witchwood, a new area. To get to witchwood, simply use the Cullis transport, found in the Hero's Guild. You will enter a jungle like area. There are vines, which you will notice have red outlines, which means you can destroy them. You must do this to move on, so chop the two sets of vines. To your right you will notice a few vines protecting a chest with an item inside. Continue north up the path, and you will already begin a boss fight. ====================== Boss Fight: Rock Troll ====================== This Rock Troll has a really cool strategy that, no matter what your attributes are, enables you to kill the Troll very easily. Basically, he is very similar to the Earth Troll, except he throws more rocks, more often. Of course, this can be a pain if you are working from a distance, but if you use the following Melee strategy, you should be fine. First of all, run up to him and hack him 3-4 times. He will stop, start looking for you under him. Now, run back a little bit. If he uses his stomp attack for close enemies, you will be safe from the hit radius. If he goes back to throwing the rocks, you should run back towards his stomach, and whack a few times. Just repeat this process and you will NEVER get hit, or have to use any food or potions. Not bad, eh? -------------- There are no more enemies, so follow the path until you get to the next area. This new area is called Witchwood Stones. Just to your right you will see a Demon Door, and this is also where you must go to continue the quest. He says you must know his name, and spell it out using the magical rocks just to the north of here. Only one person knows his name, and that person is in the area to the north. I can save you some time and tell you that the name is "HITS" but you can also find it from a green colored person near the Avo Temple. Before going to the stones, pick up the Obsidian Hammer, a very powerful weapon, protected by some vines. Then spell the name out by pressing A at the stones, then hitting to spell HITS. Now, watch the cutscene and you will gain entrance into the Demon Door. In here you will find the Archaeologist, who is really mad because he thought that he was hidden. Anyway, grab the 3-4 chests in this area, as well as the items that are on the floor near the bookcase. Now you can head back to the Guild for the next quest. --------------------- Sidequest: Hobbe Cave --------------------- Now is a good time to take this quest card, an optional side quest. Of course, you do not have to do this, but you are able to complete this task, and it really won't be too difficult. First, you must head to Greatwood Cullis using the Cullis transport at the Guild. Then, you should make your way to Rose Cottage. The old woman here will tell you that she wants to find her young grandson, who has been playing in the Hobbe Cave, but has never come back. So we have to do another saving the little helpless child quest. Anyway, head to Greatwood Caves, which is marked on your mini-map, then look for the Gold marker, cutting the vines, and heading into Hobbe Cave. In here, you will have to fight many Hobbes, so keep that in mind. Also, you will have the option of gaining a few helpers to do this. If you take some of the side doors, you can save some stupid men, who will help you on the quest. All you have to do is kill about 15 Hobbes! Anyway, once you have all your crew (optional of course) you can head to the next area. There will be a sudden attack of Hobbes from the west, as well as a door. Take them out, then head through the door. Run down the long staircase, then into the room which has the boy and the mini-boss. ====================== Boss Fight: Lake Nymph ====================== This Lake Nymph is really not that hard, just sort of long and tedious. What is going to happen is you have a choice. You can either trade your partner in for the boy, or you can deny the request and kill the boss. Let's be good and deny the request, and kill this pathetic creature. It will summon LOADS of Hobbes, so get ready for Force Push, which I pray you have by now. Take all the Hobbes out, and when you have a chance, try to whack the Nymph, or shoot an arrow. After about 5 minutes of fighting, you will eventually win, and the boy will be released. He will follow you, and you must escort him back to the Rose Cottage, killing a few groups of Hobbes along the way out of the cave. -------------- Head back to the Hero's Guild and take the White Balverine quest. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #9: Kill the White Balverine |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ Using the Cullis transport system, head to Witchwood again. Unlike last time, you will have to face Bandits, but this time, the Bandits are a lot harder than previous areas. Try not to let the Bandits surround you, and then take them all out and move on to the next area. In Witchwood Stones, you will see no enemies! As you head up, a man will come running at you and tell you to save his wife from Balverines. Well, we might as well follow him down to the stones and check out the situation. Woah! He led us into a trap. There are tons of Bandits here, and one really hard one. I would recommend taking out the big guy first, and use Force Push to clear the smaller Bandits. After you kill all of them, speak to the man who forced you into the trap. Kill him for evil marks, spare him for good marks. If you spare him, you will also receive a bit of gold for being SO generous. In the Temple of Avo, simply head to the right, and this will lead you to the next area. Witchwood Lake is pretty simple (for now). There are no enemies, just a Gold marker on your mini-map. You can collect some items from the barrels here as well. Head to the marker and then into the next area, where the fighting will begin. Now that you are in Knothold Glade, you will notice that there are several people at the gates to the city. Speak to them, then turn around. Notice the black Balverines that are laying on the ground? Well, walk over to them and start killing them. There are about three of them to kill. They are really agile, so try to hit them a few times, then use Force Push. Just repeat that process. Flourishes work wonders here as well, because they kill Balverines much faster than they kill other enemies. The gates will finally open. Watch the cutscene, and the White Balverine will enter the city! You must hit the White Balverine 10 times to make it go away. Of course, this is not killing it, just distracting it. Once you have shooed it away, you will have to go to the top of the area, which is the south of the mini-map. You are to meet a woman whose husband killed a Balverine. Then, the White Balverine appears again. Do the same procedure, hitting it 10 times to make it go away. The woman finally appears and gives you a Silver Augment, which should get the job done in terms of killing the White Balverine. Now, you must head back to Witchwood Lake and kill that beast. =========================== Boss Fight: White Balverine =========================== The White Balverine is at the lake, which is the lower section of the area. Simply head down to hit, and start whacking it (or shooting if you placed the silver augment into a bow). After you hit it a few times, it will howl and a smaller Black Balverine (like the ones you killed before) will enter the arena. Don't worry, they don't pose much of a threat, and hardly bother you. Just keep whacking the White Balverine, and use flourishes whenever possible, because they will make your life a lot easier. The White Balverine has no other special moves, he just summons TONS of Balverines. When you kill the White Balverine, take out the rest of the Balverines using Force Push and other techniques. You completed the quest! Let's try one sidequest before moving on. ---------------------- Sidequest: Lost Trader ---------------------- This quest is rather simple at this point in the game. Just head to Oakvale, and follow the golden marker to the Abandoned Road. There are Bandits in this area, which should be easy news for you, since you are high leveled. Once you reach the Abandoned Road, you will have to kill all of the Bandits to get to the Lost Trader. The stupid man will have to follow you as you make your way back to his buddy, killiing more Bandits in the way. Pretty easy if you ask me. Grab your reward and move to another sidequest. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #10: Fight in the Arena |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ This is a really fun quest. Make sure you have some time on your hands though, because you have to fight in several rounds at the arena, which could take you a half hour or so. Anyway, use your Cullis gate to get to Witchwood Lake. This will lead you right to the Arena Entrance. At Witchwood Lake (where you fought the White Balverine) you will find a lot of Balverines waiting for you. You could fight them all, or you could rush to the other side, where the gold marker indicates. Take out all of the Balverines using Force Push and other powerful spells and attacks. Then head to the next area. Speak to the guard at the Arena Entrance, and he will realize that you are here to fight in the Arena. The purpose of fighting in the Arena is to gain respect from all around Albion, which is a rather climactic moment in this game. Anyway, once you are in the Arena, you will have to listen to a short lecture. You are not the first one to go into the arena, so you can hang around and buy some items. I would stock up on as many potions as possible, because you are probably going to need them during your rounds in the Arena. You can also do a little target practice with some dummies in the waiting room. After a little while, the first contestant will die, and a "volunteer" is required. You are automatically selected, so don't get your hopes up, haha. The rules of the arena are rather simple. Basically, you will have to fight through each round, killing all of the enemies throw at you. There are several sets of enemies per round, so keep that in mind. Also, you_can_take breaks in between rounds, but you will not gain the gold that you acquired in the last round, and it makes you look like a coward. Don't worry, this Arena is easy enough to complete without taking breaks. Let's get down to the strategies. Stage 1 ------- This round consists of four sets of Wasps. The wasps get steadily harder as you increase the set, but overall, they are pathetically easy at this stage of the game. Just whack them with your melee weapon, and they should be done without causing any damage. If they do, fill up your energy bar before going into the second round. Stage 2 ------- Again, there are four sets of enemies, but this time, you will be facing the Hobbes. The Hobbes are like they always are, mildly difficult. You will get hit a few times, but fill your health up using magic or potions, and you can continue whacking. The safest method is to shoot arrows, or perform attack magic spells, but any method should work. Once you get loads of Hobbes all around you, use the Force Push spell to knock them away, then concentrate on one of them at a time. Stage 3 ------- Balverines are really not that difficult, even at this stage of the game. Just hack at them, parrying when they are about to attack. The Balverines usually do not like to surround you, but if they do, use a simple Force Push. Once the third set comes, you will notice that a White Balverine is included! Make sure you use your silver augmented weapon, as it is the only weapon that can hurt the White Balverine. Take the rest out, and you should be done for this round. Stage 4 ------- The Undead are probably an enemy that you are not familiar with. They will be pretty important later on in the game, however. The Undead, contrary to what you might believe, are VERY easy. They are slow, and only perform melee attacks from up close. This means archery is the best way to go. Just pull out your bow and circle the arena. Continuously shoot at the Undead, using full strength shots, which will take a good amount of damage. Kill all four sets of the easy dudes, and you should be set to go for the next, more interesting round. Stage 5 ------- Wow, we have a partner, Whisper. She is totally on your side, which is really a good thing, because she attracts a lot of enemies, decreasing the number of enemies that you have to concentrate on. The enemies in this stage are simple Bandits, then progressively harder Bandits. In general, you should use melee attacks, since the Bandits often charge at you. If you are good in magic, use some physical spells or attack spells to help boost your strength. Just focus on yourself, you have no obligation of saving Whisper, not to mention, she cannot die (she has no life meter, as should see). Stage 6 ------- This round consists of two Earth Trolls, which might seem hard at first, but is actually really easy. This is because, one Earth Troll tries to attack you, and the other tries to attack Whisper. This means you can focus on one at a time. So, take your arrows out, then dodge the rocks, moving right as he shoots the left rock, then quickly move left as he shoots the right rock. Shoot full strength arrows to take the maximum damage off these guys. Once you kill the first one, you will notice that Whisper barely did ANYTHING to the second. So, you must use the same procedure for killing the second Earth Troll. Stage 7 ------- This round consists of two Rock Trolls, instead of Earth Trolls. The procedure for killing them can be the same, but can also be slightly different. Again, you will only have to focus on one Troll, as the other will be distracting Whisper. So, grab your melee weapon, and run up towards the Rock Troll. Chop at it 3-4 times, and it will be staring in disbelief under himself, looking for you. Now is the time to move back. If he uses his melee radius attack, you should be out of the way in time. If he goes back to throwing rocks, head back up to his belly, and hit him as you did before. Just repeat this procedure for this Troll, as well as the other, and you should be ready for the final round! Stage 8 ------- Arachonox is a large scorpion, but really easy. The key to winning this battle is arrows. Get your bow out, and constantly shoot strength arrows at your enemy. Try to aim in the green spot, near its belly. This will take the most damage off the enemy. Arachonox will charge at you, for most of the battle, which can be avoided by pressing the Y button, to roll to the left or right. Try to anticipate this charage, so you can get a slight head start. The other attack that Arachonox has is a ground vine attack, which casts spiky vines underground, leading right to where you are. When Arachonox is charging up, shoot as many arrows as possible, but just as it releases the vines, run to the left or right, and parry to roll out of the way. The final attack that it has is heading underground and releasing several miniature scorpions, which is really easy. Just whack the scorpions and they should die in one hit. Repeat the procedure to finish off the stage. -------------- So, there is all this gold, but two winners? No, according to the great Jack of Blades, we must fight each other, and the winner gets the prize. So, you must fight Whisper, once again, which is, again, very easy. She is much faster than you are, which basically takes your archery skills out of the picture. Instead, try to whack her when she throws grenades, or attempts to charge attack you. Use flourishes to finish off a huge blow, which will eventually take off plenty of damage. Use you potions and magic to boost you up, as you normally do, and when Whisper's health becomes rather low, you will have to face a decision, sort of like Twinblade. You can either kill her, gain 120 bad points, and an extra 10,000 gold, or you can spare her by walking out the door, gain 120 good points, but no extra gold. Choose according to your side. You are told to meet your sister Theresa at Grey House, near Barrow Fields. This is a new quest, but a very short one, so I will simply include it right now. Anyway, head to Barrow Fields, and over to the gold marker to get to the Grey House. Speak to your sister, and she will tell you interesting aspects about what really happened, and what the plot really entails. Once you have completed this, head back to the Guild for the next quest. Believe it or not, we are nearing the final main quests. Now might be a good time to complete a few sidequests before moving onto the graveyard, as your sister tells you to do. I will cover some of these sidequests before going on to the main quests, just in case you are confused. ------------------------------- Sidequest: Break/Help the Siege ------------------------------- Depending on your alignment, you can either help the Bandits at Knothole Glade or protect the Guards from the Bandits. If you are protecting the town, head to Witchwood, then over to Knothole glade. Speak to the man in charge of the town, then a bunch of Bandits will rade the city. Use Force Push to make them go flying, then smash them with melee weapons. I would recommend using melee weapons because you can kill the enemies much faster, even though you might sacrifice a bit of health. Just use potions to help yourself, and you should be fine. If you are on the other side, you will be doing the exact opposite. You will have to run in with the Bandits, and help them raid the town. Of course, this will gain you bad points. Now head back to the guild and take the main quest. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #11: Rescue the Archaeologist |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ Now that you have access to Bowerstone North, given by Jack of Blades himself, you should head to Bowerstone South. Move along to the Golden marker, which will lead you to the door leading to Bowerstone North. Talk to the guard, he will allow you to pass, then enter the door to the next area. The guard will introduce you to the area, but nothing of importance. He is also really annoying, and we STILL don't have our weapons. Anyway, head to the left where the Golden marker shows, and speak to the guard to enter the next area, where you must rescue the archaeologist from the stupid enemies. As you enter the next area, you will notice Minions in your path. They are really good at blocking your regular arrow and melee attacks, so use Flourish attack on them. Also, grab the piercing augmentation and use it for better damage on these enemies. There will be quite a few of them, although you will have plenty of helpers along your side, who actually kill some of the enemies. Windmill Hill is more of the same. Tons of minions, so heal up your allys, as well as yourself. I would recommend the double hit, or double arrow attacks. They work well, because the Minions cannot block these. As you head up the path, you will notice a house with a Minion and a guard. Kill the minion and gather the guard for more assistance. As shown in the cutscene at the entrance to this area, you will find the barrier. To your right is the magical Minion, as well as a few others who are guarding him. Take them all out, using the same strategies as before, then, once you kill the magical Minion, move to the next area. In this next area, another magical Minion will spawn a Rock Troll! Of course, ther Rock Trolls are very easy to kill. I will explain my awesome method again. First, grab your melee weapon, and run up towards the Rock Troll. Whack at it 3-4 times, and it will be staring in disbelief under himself, looking for you. Now is the time to move back. If he uses his melee radius attack, you should be out of the way in time. If he goes back to throwing rocks, head back up to his belly, and hit him as you did before. Just repeat this procedure for this Troll, and it will fall. Take the magical Minion out, so he does not cause any more freaking trouble. Before exiting, head east to find two guards and two Minions. Save them, heal them, and then move to the Prison Path. You will see the Archaeologist being transported on the docks. You only have five minutes to save him, and a crap load of Minions who are going to be popping out of the ground to save him. There are a limited number, they do not keep on respawing, but they certainly come very often. The BEST spell in this area is Slow Time, because you move at the same speed, but the enemies and the clock will move at a very slow speed. This will allow you to run around them, or kill them for some easy experience. Make you way all the way down to the docks, then kill the remaining Minions at the docks. Head into the blue light to save the Archaeologist, who tells you about the graveyard, but will not tell you how to open the secret door, this is up to us. Head back to the Guild for the next quest. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #12: The Graveyard Path |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ Follow the Golden marker until you reach the graveyard area, called Lychfield Graveyard. Head down the path until you see a gate blocking the path. If you speak to the Demon Door to your right, he will tell you that only one person can open the door, Nostro. So, head left this time to find the gravekeeper's house. Watch the brief cutscene. Grab the shovel from the chest just outside the house. Then, the gravekeeper will open the gate for you. Make your way all the way to the back of this area, killing the undead that appear from the ground. There are many places that you can dig in this area as well, especially for gold and phials. Anyway, once you get to the specified tomb, wait until the grave of Nostro tells you to bring him his armor. This means, if you bring all his armor (four pieces) to the grave, he will open the Demon Door that you must pass. The first piece of armor is floating near the water just to the south. You have to fish this one out, so take your time and grab the first piece of armor. The helmet is, as mentioned in the cutscene, at the gravekeeper's house. There is another green hot spot on your mini-map, which takes you to a set of graves. Just dig in the shiny grave to get another piece of equipment. Finally, head into the tomb marked with another green dot to find the last piece of equipment. Take all these back to Nostro's tomb, then you will be transported to the Demon Door for entry. This next graveyard path will be full of undead. If you want, you can gain a lot of experience by chopping away at the undead. After all, they are not very hard creatures. Then, once you get towards the end of the path, you will have to face a mush faster and larger undead. Once you kill him, the door just at the top of the stairs will be open. Before entering the door, grab the Silver Augmentation in the chest to your left. Then, enter to the next area. In the final room of this quest, you will have to kill several Undead in a rather small area. Use your multi-arrow spell if you have it to kill the undead extremely quickly. Once the entire room is lighted around, you will break the barriers and complete the quest. Now, you can immediately head on to the next quest, which is to find and save your mother. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #13: Rescue Scarlet Robe |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ This large area is pretty...large. But, nothing in it right now. Just head around the perimeter of the room and into the next area. This next stretch consists of tons of Undead. They are rather easy, so kill them using Force Push or some easy spell. Once you get to an intersection, you will be trapped with another magic barrier. Kill all the Undead in this area, then the barriers will be broken and you can continue killing mushrooms (use bow, they explode) and more Undead. You can either take the north route, which leads to a stinking nymph and a chest with a phial in it (personally, it is not worth your trouble). Then, head to the right and into the next area for a bit of fresh air. To get to the Underground Passage, take the route up to the next magical barrier area. Of course, you will have to face several Undead, but I would recommend killing them instead of skipping them. Once all are dead, head into the Underground Passage. This area is Undead-free. But, the men guarding the fortress and your mother will be here. They are pretty easy, but rather agile. Try to use your bow, especially if you use a Heavy melee weapon. They are really fast and it is hard to get many hits off. Once the first three are dead, snipe the further men who are guarding the entrance that leads to the larger area. After a few more guards, you will see a large area with stairs leading ahead. First, kill the enemies to the northeast, and break the barrels for some extra items. There is also a treasure chest that you can look into. After you have killed everyone, and have grabbed items, walk up the stairs and open the door. Now that you are in the Torture Chamber, you will meet your mother. Crank the door open, and have her follow you out. As you run all the way back, killing several enemies, you will be trapped by Jack of Blades. Ok, so he is behind all of these evil deeds. You will then be placed in prison. Getting out of prison is your next objective, although it is not really a new mission, especially since you have not completed the previous mission. Wait for the guard to come to your jail cell for a second time. Your goal is to get the key to the cells, which can be obtained soon. So, you must complete a race with a bunch of inmates. This race is EXTREMELY easy, so don't sweat it. You simply follow the guards directions, which consists of turning right, climbing stairs, turning left, then going around the entire perimeter of the top area, and ending in the Warden's office. While you are in the Warden's office, you will have a noise meter. He wants absolute silence, so you cannot make fast movements. You can always use the stealth walk, holding down the thumbstick. Walk behind the warden and over to the bulletin board to his left. Get the code, then walk back to a table with three books. Open a random book, and you will be caught by the Warden, but this is the way the game goes, so don't worry. You will end up in jail again...But the same procedure applies as done before. Getting out of prison is your next objective, although it is not really a new mission, especially since you have not completed the previous mission. Opening your fellow inmates' doors will give you good points, so if you are evil, do not do it. Grab the stick in the cell across from you. Head out the back door. Your next objective, before helping your mother, is to get your equipment back. Once you get to the couryard, you will see three guards. Let them see you, and run up the stairs. Do not follow the golden marker. Once up the stairs, make a left and into the door here. This will lead you to the barracks. Open all the chests in here, including the one at the very end, which will give you your equipment back. A guard will appear in the room, and you can kick his ass with your bow, or whatever you usually use. Now, head back outside and kill the rest of the guards. Head over to the Golden marker. Open the door for your mother. She has a health meter, so be careful as you are fighting along the way. Once you exit this room, you will go back to that large room that you faught in previously. There are plenty of guards to keep you occupied. Take the fighting slow...they mainly go for you, not your mother. Make sure you use Heal Life, for you and your mother. Make your way passed the rest of the guards to the Clifftop area. Ignore the enemies here, unless you want the experience, and make your way to the next area. Continue until you reach that large circular area, where a new boss fight begins. ================== Boss Fight: Kraken ================== Kraken is really not a tough boss. Just a HUGE boss. Yes, Kraken takes up the entire circle. Probably wondering what this room was used for, eh? Anyway, Kraken has five tentacles that pop up in the beginning of the battle. Only one tentacle will focus on attacking, the rest are just loitering in the background. Use your bow for this entire fight, and keep Heal Life out, not just for you, but also for your mother. Shoot the tentacle about 1-3 times, depending on if you have multi-arrow casted. Once you defeat a tentacle, move on to the next tentacle. Repeat the procedure for all 5 of the tentacles and the real face of Kraken will appear. Just shoot multi-arrows with full power at the face and you will take maximum damage. I killed Kraken in one run through, but you might have to break another set of tentacles. If so, you should still repeat the same procedure, as nothing new is added. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #14: Head to Hook Coast |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ Hook Coast is a secret area that you must explore right now. First, go to Darkwood Weir, where you will find a golden marker. Kill the undead to trigger the next Cullis gate. Head through the cullis gate to get to the next area, Hook Coast. This area is relatively simple. Just run over to the golden marker and towards the magic barrier. The Guildmaster will tell you that your mother has an idea of how to open the door. He must interpret a book to get you through this door, so head back to the Guild and over to Maze's Tower. Your mother will be captured again! Speak to the Guildmaster and he will tell you to return to the Hook Coast and he will get you through the door. Do the same procedure and you will find Maze behind the barrier. He must be a trader! Indeed, he is on Jack of Blades' side and against you. You must now face Maze. ================ Boss Fight: Maze ================ Maze is hard at first, but gets easier when you get used to him. He loves casting human shield, which deflects all damage taken. When he has no human shield left, dodge his attacks with a roll, then hit him from behind. You can also use flourishes if you like that more. Once you take a small portion of his health down, he will transport outside. Head back, and notice that he is casting similar magic to that of Hobbes. No big deal, just shoot muli-arrow attacks at him to get his health below 50%. He will transport back again, more towards your own Cullis gate. Keep attacking him with arrows, avoiding the pathetic Screamer enemies. Once you get Maze in the tower at the very end of the road, you will have to face him with some more combat. Continue hitting him until he is outside and you have defeat him. He admits that he underestimated you, and he hid from death. /\ /\ |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| |FABLE| Quest #15: Stop Jack of Blades |FABLE| |-----|-----------------------------------------------------------------|-----| \_____/ \_____/ Stopping Jack of Blades is really easy, actually. The boss battle is semi-hard, but nothing too bad. Anyway, you will have to follow Jack of Blades through four different portals, avoiding all enemies in your path. Head to the Guild, where you will see an injured Gildmaster. Follow through to the caves of the Guild. Avoid fighting enemies, unless you are really into wasting time. Just run towards the golden marker to find Jack of Blades. Watch the cutscene and you will automatically follow him into the portal. The next area is Witchwood Lake, which is clearly marked on your map, Avoid all the enemies that try to stop you. The Minions are damn hard anyway, so just run passed them. Speak to Jack of Blades and follow him again. The next area is Hobbes Cave, which is similar to that Hobbes Cave quest. Just follow the path, avoiding the enemies, and into the large area with the nymph at one point. Speak to Jack of Blades again, stating he only has one more area to head to. Near Windmill Hill, you will find Gibbet Woods, which is the final area that you will find Jack of Blades. You will complete the quest now that you have followed him through the four focal points, but this means he gets the all powerful sword. The only way to stop him now is to kill him. We will get to him through the Guild, which is marked on your map. ========================== Boss Fight: Jack of Blades ========================== Jack of Blades is really not that hard. The first part of the boss battle is pretty difficult, but not too bad. The second part is so simple, you won't even believe it. Anyway, he will first summon about 5 Minions, which are a decent challenge in themselves. Kill them, don't worry...Jack won't try to hit you during this portion. Once they are all dead, he will head into melee mode, where you will have to face him. Normal swings are not good enough, because Jack will deflect everything. However, you can use flourishes, which work very well. I just hit him once with a normal attack, then used flourish to take some of his health away. This should work fine, as long as you are refilling your health whenever he does some crazy attacks. Assassin rush is good when he makes distance with you. Magic is his strength, after all. The second part of the battle is really easy. He will head to the center of the room and fly into the air. He will then use magic the rest of the battle, and you will have to use arrows. If you have multi-arrows, this will work very well. Cast multi-arrow, then hide behind the new pillers that come during this portion of the battle. Everytime he shoots magic, right after, come out and shoot a powered shot, which should take a good amount of health away. Do this about 4-5 times, and you will have defeated Jack of Blades, completing the basic Fable game. ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ |***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***| 4. ===================== Boss Fight: Arachonox ===================== Arachonox is a large scorpion, but really easy. This Lake Nymph is really not that hard, just sort of long and tedious. ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ |***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***| 7. Each Demon Door requires a small task to gain entrance. There is a valuable reward of some sort in just about every single one, so these are very popular among gamers playing Fable. Thanks to m3rCuRy88 for a couple of the rewards in this section. ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Demon Door #1 | FOUND: Hero's Guild | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | REWARD: Elixir of Life Potion | Demon Door #1 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Once upon this Demon Door, he will ask for a source of light. Then, go to | | her house, and speak with her. After she asks for a gift...what a...yeah. | | Go and buy her a Black Rose for her cold heart. Then, she wants you to | | have a house...come on, we can always sleep at her house! To buy a house, | | you can buy the selling house in Bowerstone South. Then, she tells you | | that she lost her necklace. Head to the Graveyard. People will talk about | | hiding something valuable at Oakvale beach. Head there, and you will find | | the necklace, after digging, between two perched boats. Bring it back to | | her. Listed below are the costs of each level of each category of possible augmentations. Of course, the purpose of these lists is to give you a chance to plan ahead, so you can save experience for various spells. If you want to maximize your statistics, you should be aware that Strength and Skill require 7 levels, while Magic Spells only cost 4 levels. This is because there are plenty of magic spells to choose from, and 7 levels of each spell might take quite a long time. Also, it is not necessary to gain every level of every category in order to complete the game. In fact, you hardly need half of these. There are three main categories, listed below. Of course, with the lists of items, comes the divisions of those lists. There are a few different categories of items in this game, so I will be dividing the items into those categories and listing them in alphabetical order. Values and Descriptions of the items will be available in this comprehensive list. I hope it comes in handy at some point in the game. =================== Category 1: Potions =================== ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (1.) Potion - AGES OF MIGHT POTION / Average Value: 300 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Ages of Might Potion is a rarer item in the game, because it does something very significant. It will permenantly increase your strength experience capabilities, which is, of course, important for physical techniques. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (2.) Potion - AGES OF SKILL POTION / Average Value: 300 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Ages of Skill Potion is a rarer item in the game, because it does something very significant. It will permenantly increase your skill experience capabilities, which is, of course, important for skill techniques. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (3.) Potion - AGES OF WILL POTION / Average Value: 300 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Ages of Will Potion is a rarer item in the game, because it does something very significant. It will permenantly increase your will experience capabilities, which is, of course, important for will techniques. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (4.) Potion - ELIXIR OF LIFE / Average Value: 2600 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now these are the cream of the crop, when it comes to regaining your lost health during battle. These potions, though extremely rare, regain much more health than the average health potion. Of course, you want to use these much more sparingly, such as during a boss fight or group enemy fight. Just don't waste them because you need some health during an unimportant situation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (5.) Potion - HEALTH POTION / Average Value: 80 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This item is really simple, but very useful. The Health Potion simply gives your character an extra boost of health. It is useful to carry SEVERAL potions around all the time, because you never know when you will need that extra boost while fighting a really tough enemy. Also note that you do not recover a very significant part of your health, especially towards the end of the game, so you may want to look for health in other forms, such as produce or better potions, which will be explained later. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (6.) Potion - RESURRECTION PHIAL / Average Value: 500 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ever played Final Fantasy games? Well this item is very similar to a Pheonix Down. Basically, if you happen to die, you get another life. These are very variable during boss fights and dangerous enemy attacks. If you can, try not to waste them. If you die, you might want to start over and try to defeat the obstacle without wasting a resurrection phial. Of course, there is no point in the game where you NEED one of these items, but that depends on how comfortable you want to be while playing the game. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (7.) Potion - WILL MASTER'S ELIXIR / Average Value: 2600 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is EXTREMELY rare, but for good reason. This item will permanently boost your mana bar, so you won't run out of mana as fast! That means you won't have to use as many potions. Very useful, indeed. If you use magic spells often to defeat enemies, you are really going to want to find these. See the walkthrough for information on how to obtain this item. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (8.) Potion - WILL POTION / Average Value: 70 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Will Potion is another basic potion that you will collect all throughout the game. Instead of refilling health, like the Health Potion, the Will Potion refills your mana. Again, very small amounts of Mana are refilled, so you are going to want to keep SEVERAL of these handy. There are points in the game where you will constantly need fresh mana (ex. The Arena). These are very useful during those points in the game, especially if you are into using magic spells. ================= Category 2: Gifts ================= ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (1.) Gifts - Black Rose / Average Value: 300 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Black Rose? Ugly! Yep, that is what most people think of these items. However, if you are evil, and you want to encourage someone to ally with you, give this to someone who is also evil! Yes, that is the best advice I can give to you. I am sure it will win someone's heart. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (2.) Gifts - Chocolates / Average Value: 10 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When you want someone to like you a little more, and you don't have a ton of cash, grabbing a box of chocolates is not a bad idea. These are very cheap, yet mildly comforting. Who doesn't like chocolate, honestly? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (3.) Gifts - Diamonds / Average Value: 800 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Diamonds, as you have probably guessed, are a rather expensive gift. But at the same time, they really encourage friendship, if not marriage with another person. Don't waste these on people you don't truly care about in the game. Give these to the special someone. Sounds weird saying this IN a video game, I know. Anyway, you get the point. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (4.) Gifts - Emerald / Average Value: 700 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A very nice gift for anyone that you want to build a tight relationship with. These are valued slightly less than Diamonds, but are attractive, nonetheless. Again, if you are on the good side, you want to give these to people who you want to honestly like. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (5.) Gifts - Fake Wedding Ring / Average Value: 200 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Fake Wedding Ring is usuable, of course. But it is dishonest. If you are on the Good Side, I would recommend actually grabbing a real wedding ring. Of course, if you are poor...well, this might be the gift for your, probably ugly wife, no offense, haha. In a way, you are sort of cheating her, so this may be a useful option if you are on the Evil Side. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (6.) Gifts - Jet / Average Value: 450 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Jet stone is, as you may know, rather rare, but still affordable. Much less than a Diamond or Emerald, the Jet is a great gem to give to someone for a less important present. A few of these and your spouse will probably start loving you to death. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (7.) Gifts - Perfume / Average Value: 120 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Perfume is a really good present for anyone and is rather cheap. If you are really into loving your partner, this is a catalyst for getting him/her into bed quickly...Yeah. A couple of these, and you will be the new Don Juan in Fable town. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (8.) Gifts - Red Rose / Average Value: 20 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Red Rose is sort of the opposite of a Black Rose. So, if you are on the good side, you are probably going to want to pick up a few of these and give them to your lovely partner. If you are evil, you might as well put these on your mother's kitchen table, because they will have no positive use. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (9.) Gifts - Sapphire / Average Value: 550 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is something I like about Sapphires. Not really sure what it is, but I really like them. Maybe because they are pretty cheap, compared to Diamonds and Emeralds, but still produce effective results with your partner. After all, who would not want a beautiful sapphire to show off to his/her friends? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (10.) Gifts - Wedding Ring / Average Value: 900 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Look at the price on that sucker. Yep, the wedding ring is the most expensive gift you can get for anyone, and it should be...you are getting married to someone. Of course, if you have are able to find one of these, you will impress your spouse to death, and you are being honest with them, instead of those who purchase the Fake Wedding Ring. You should be proud of yourself for obtaining one of these suckers. =================== Category 3: Produce =================== ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (1.) Produce - Apple Pie / Average Value: 15 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Apple pies are pretty common in this game. Basically, if you are in need of a small pit of health, and you do not want to waste any potions or anything, you will probably look towards your produce section, and apple pies are usually a tasty treat that will improve your health. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (2.) Produce - Beer / Average Value: 10 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Same thing really. Beer is just a drink that will improve your health. It is slightly less beneficial than apple pies or other produce, as shown by its smaller value, but still something fun to share with others. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (3.) Produce - Beer Keg / Average Value: 45 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beer Kegs are more for their value than their taste. People all over Fable will enjoy a Beer Keg for their party. Try roaming the worlds and towns, looking for Traders or merchants who want these. You are guaranteed to make decent money. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (4.) Produce - Carrot / Average Value: 5 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Carrots are not very useful. Eat them if you want, you will gain small amounts of experience, and can be used for combat multipliers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (5.) Produce - Cider Crate / Average Value: 50 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, maybe you are not an alcoholic. These crates can be sold, just like Beer Kegs, to neighboring Traders. You are guaranteed to make decent profits, if you go to the right places. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (6.) Produce - Crunchy Chick / Average Value: 35 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sounds gross, but is actually very good in terms of health regeneration. They have a decent value, so try trading them for a nice profit. Again, keep them around for that extra health boost, as these are very effective. Also, they affect your negative alignment significantly, which is something you may want to consider at times. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (7.) Produce - Fish / Average Value: 15 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fish are found in different colors. They can be eaten or sold, depending on what you need (health or credit). You can catch them by fishing at any possible lake, or water resort. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (8.) Produce - Flour Sack / Average Value: 40 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These sacks are good trading items. Look for neighboring Traders who are willing to purchase these, and you will be able to make a decent profit. Other than profit, there is not a whole lot you can do with these items. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (9.) Produce - Golden Carrot / Average Value: 150 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Golden Carrot is a rare item in the game. It is extremely useful when eaten. It is supposed to alleviate all of your current problems, and it really boosts your health when in need. The actual need for one of these is pretty low, but it is fun to get if you want to collect all of the items in the game. Also, if it is night time, eating one of these will turn the night into day, so you can do some shopping at the more lively town. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (10.) Produce - Grain Sack / Average Value: 25 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These sacks are good trading items. Look for neighboring Traders who are willing to purchase these, and you will be able to make a decent profit. Other than profit, there is not a whole lot you can do with these items. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (11.) Produce - Green Apple / Average Value: 4 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These items are very common. Find them just about anywhere and eat them for an extra boost of health. If you don't want to waste a potion on a small amount of health, just pop one of these juicy apples into your mouth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (12.) Produce - Moonfish / Average Value: 150 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This produce is rather rare. It is sort of the opposite of the Golden Carrot because it is for the Evil side. You are supposed to turn all good into bad when you eat this. So, only use it if you are on the Evil Side, otherwise it can be called a collector's item. Its purpose is to turn day into night when eaten, for any reasons why you might need to roam the area at night time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (13.) Produce - Red Meat / Average Value: 15 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Red Meat is good for you, and pretty expensive. This will give you a good amount of health if in need. I would say it is about equivalent to a potion, maybe a little less. Still, keep a few of these handy. You never know who might want it, including yourself. You do get hungry after all. Eating these will help boost your strength experience, while contributing to your combat multipliers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | (14.) Produce - Tofu / Average Value: 40 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tofu helps your health big time. Admit that it is gross, as will your character in the game, but realize that it will significantly boost your health. Notice the value on this, as well. Don't waste it, maybe sell it for some profit to neighboring Traders. === 8.2 - Weapons =====================================================ma_we=== In this section, I will list all of the weapons in the game. Some of the stats on the weapons will be displayed, as well as a short description. Enjoy. --------- (Weapon #1) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: AXE /\ Weapon: IRON AXE /\ Value: 125 /\ Damage: 30 /\ Light / \_____________/ \________________/ \__________/ \__________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- The Iron Axe is a simple weapon. It is the cheapest axe in the game, and therefore pretty common in the game. You are probably not going to want to use this weapon for very long, especially since it does not have any augmentation spaces. It is more of a beginner weapon. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------- (Weapon #2) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: AXE /\ Weapon: STEEL AXE /\ Value: 375 /\ Damage: 38 /\ Light / \_____________/ \_________________/ \__________/ \__________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- The Steel Axe is a slight upgrade from Iron. The damage is a bit higher, but the value triples on this one, so it might be a useful trade item. Notice that it does have one augmentation spot, so it is not very bad at all. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------- (Weapon #3) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: AXE /\ Weapon: OBSIDIAN AXE /\ Value: 1950 /\ Damage: 75 /\ Light / \_____________/ \____________________/ \___________/ \__________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- The Obsidian Axe is a huge upgrade from Steel. The damage nearly doubles, and the value goes way up. Of course, this might be a weapon you use through the course of much of the game. If you like axes, this might be a good one for you. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------- (Weapon #4) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: AXE /\ Weapon: MASTER AXE /\ Value: 14996 /\ Damage: 113 /\ Light / \_____________/ \__________________/ \____________/ \___________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- The Master Axe is one of the best axes in the game. There is only one weapon better. It is huge, made of shiny jewels and fine material so that the weapon can cut through any possible material. Very good weapon, as it will get you through the entire game very easily. Not a bad weapon to sell either ;) _______________________________________________________________________________ --------- (Weapon #5) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: AXE /\ Weapon: RONOK AXE /\ Value: 36750 /\ Damage: 165 /\ Light / \_____________/ \_________________/ \____________/ \___________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- This axe is a rare item. With only 2 augmentation spots, it may be a little worse than the Master Axe, but it does take a lot more damage off. You can find this weapon in the Demon Door near Lady Grey's House. If you are into grabbing all the items and weapon in the game, this might be something you should consider, eh? _______________________________________________________________________________ --------- (Weapon #6) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: CLEAVER /\ Weapon: IRON /\ Value: 138 /\ Damage: 30 /\ Light / \_________________/ \____________/ \__________/ \__________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- The Iron Cleaver is a simple weapon. It is the cheapest one in the game, and therefore pretty common in the game. You are probably not going to want to use this weapon for very long, especially since it does not have any augmentation spaces. It is more of a beginner weapon. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------- (Weapon #7) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: CLEAVER /\ Weapon: STEEL /\ Value: 413 /\ Damage: 42 /\ Light / \_________________/ \_____________/ \__________/ \__________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- The Steel Cleave is a slight upgrade from Iron. The damage is a bit higher, but the value triples on this one, so it might be a useful trade item. Notice that it does have one augmentation spot, so it is not very bad at all. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------- (Weapon #8) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: CLEAVER /\ Weapon: OBSIDIAN /\ Value: 2145 /\ Damage: 83 /\ Light / \_________________/ \________________/ \___________/ \__________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- The Obsidian is a huge upgrade from Steel. The damage nearly doubles, and the value goes way up. Of course, this might be a weapon you use through the course of much of the game. If you like Cleavers, this might be the right weapon for you. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------- (Weapon #9) --------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: CLEAVER /\ Weapon: MASTER /\ Value: 19181 /\ Damage: 124 /\ Light / \_________________/ \______________/ \____________/ \___________/ \_____/ Description -------------------------------------------- The Master is one of the best Cleavers in the game. There is only one weapon better. It is huge, made of shiny jewels and fine material so that the weapon can cut through any possible material. Very good weapon, as it will get you through the entire game very easily. Not a bad weapon to sell either ;) _______________________________________________________________________________ ---------- (Weapon #10) ---------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \ Category: CLEAVER /\ Weapon: BLUETANE /\ Value: 40425 /\ Damage: 165 /\ Li. / \_________________/ \________________/ \____________/ \___________/ \___/ Description -------------------------------------------- This Cleaver is the rare item. It can be found in the Greatwood Caves Demon Door. It only has one augmentation spot, so it might not be the best weapon of choice. Again, the damage is a huge advantage for this rare item. _______________________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- === 8.4 - Magic =======================================================ma_ma=== This section is purposed to simply describe the possible magic spells in the game. I have already listed the Experience prices for each spell in the Experience Chart section, above. Enjoy. ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #1: Assassins' Rush | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | This is similar to Battle Charge. Basically, your character is thrusted | | forward at extreme speeds. If an enemy is nearby, you will end up right | | behind the enemy, ready for a free strike from behind. This is useful when | | you are facing a difficult enemy, usually speedy. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #2: Battle Charge | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | The Battle Charge simply is a speedy charge, too fast for any enemy to | | defend. It will knock out any existing enemies within a small radius of | | the charge area. Not really the most effective spell, but still good. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #3: Berserk | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Berserk in Fable is essentially the same as it for most RPG games. You are | | going to increase your strength and speed tremendously, but at the same | | time, you are going to lose a lot of control. Good for large enemy fights, | | or several surrounding enemies in a given area. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #4: Drain | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Drain is, again, a common spell in most RPGs. Basically, if you are in | | need of a quick energy boost, simply use this spell to take some of your | | enemies' health, and place it in your health storage. Really a useful | | spell if you logically think about it. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #5: Enflame | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Enflame is what is basically says. You will send a large sheet of fire at | | your enemies. This can be effective when you are fighting a large group of | | enemies directly ahead of you. With a single enemy, this is probably a | | waste of mana. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #6: Fireball | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Fireball is a good spell against single, tough enemies. This is because | | the attack range is limited to a single enemy, so it sort of makes sense. | | Save this for bosses and large enemies, like trolls. When you are facing a | | group of easier enemies, use something more appropriate. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #7: Force Push | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Force Push is a good strategy when you are fighting TONS of enemies. When | | you are surrounded by a bunch of enemies, no matter how easy, you need to | | find a concentration point. The easiest way to do this is push a ton of | | the enemies back. You can do this using the Force Push spell. You will | | probably notice that this if very useful at Twinblade's Camp (wink, wink). | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #8: Ghost Swords | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | The Ghost Swords spell is really effective when facing a lot of people. | | The spell essentially summons a bunch of swords that automatically attack | | neighboring enemies without your command. This will make your kills a heck | | of a lot easier. Tougher enemy groups can be simplified using this spell. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #9: Heal | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Heal is a useful spell when you are NOT in a battle. If you do not want to | | waste any potions, you can always use this spell. However, I would keep | | your mana for more attack-based spells during battles (which means don't | | use this spell for those times :)). | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #10: Lightning | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | The Lightning attack spell is a little different from the fireball spell. | | Basically, you will drain some of the health on SEVERAL enemies within a | | short attack distance. This means the damage taken is not as much, but you | | are attacking more enemies. I would recommend using this spell on groups | | of easy enemies. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #11: Multi-Arrow | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | The Multi-Arrow spell is really critical. It will take tons of damage from | | a single enemy. Basically, your arrows are transformed into glowing, very | | powerful arrows. Each arrow becomes several arrows as well, so it is a | | very powerful spell to use on solo enemies. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #12: Multi-Strike | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Multi-Strike basically allows you to attack several times with easy normal | | attack on an enemy. This, again, takes a lot more damage off the enemy, | | and speeds the process of killing your enemies as well. Pretty neat. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #13: Shield | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | The shield spell basically casts a shield of energy, absorbing the damage | | you take. Notice, you will still take SOME damage, but the amount is | | greatly reduced. Something to keep in mind, but the spell is not that bad. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #14: Slowtime | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Need time to do lots of things? Slowtime essentially slows the world all | | around you. You, however, will still move at normal speeds, giving you a | | huge advantage for that limited amount of time. This spell is very good | | against bosses, because you can use so many more powerful spells while the | | world is moving very slowly. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #15: Summon | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Summon is more of a neat spell than anything. Basically, you will revive | | one of the enemies that you have killed, to help you. Then, if this ally | | kills another enemy, they will replace the fallen enemy to help you. It is | | sort of a cycle, as long as you can keep them alive. Pretty cool. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Magic Spell #16: Turncoat | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Turncoat is basically a spell that converts an enemy into an ally for a | | short period of time. It is alright, but I never really used it much. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ === 8.5 - Augmentations ===============================================ma_au=== Augmentations are really important, and probably underrated in Fable. They can significantly affect the way you attack, physically and magically. Other benefits also exist, which you can read about in this section. There will be various weapons/armor in the game that you can augment(which means some of these items cannot be augmented). However, realize that if you augment one of your weapons or armor, you can not undo it, it is permanent. There are only a few types of augmentations, so let me get started. There are a total of 8 augmentations. Use the fast search by pressing ctrl and F, then type in the special code for the augmentation. Also not that My Rank is what I believe is the most important out of the 8. 1 is the most important and 8 is the least important. (Thanks to A I e x for the formatting). Quick-Navigate -------------- 1. Experience (au_01) 2. Flame (au_02) 3. Health (au_03) 4. Lightning (au_04) 5. Mana (au_05) 6. Piercing (au_06) 7. Sharpening (au_07) 8. Silver (au_08) ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Augmentation #1: Experience | FOUND: Hook Coast (au_01) | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | Game Value................. 50,000 | My Rank......................... 1/8 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | The Experience augmentation is truly the greatest augmentation that you | | could possible want. It basically boosts your experience earned for every | | single enemy that you defeat. And when I say boost, I truly mean double or | | even triple how much experience you earn. So, if you are looking to have | | all of the best abilities when it comes towards the end of the game, you | | should have this augmentation available at all times. You can place this | | augmentation on your melee or ranged weapons, depending on what you like | | to use more. Remember, you will permanently place this augmentation on the | | weapon that you choose, so choose wisely. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Augmentation #2: Flame | FOUND: Hobbes Cave (au_02) | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | Game Value.................. 1,450 | My Rank......................... 8/8 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | As I am sure you already know, enemies have weaknesses. Some are weak to | | fire, and this augmentation really takes advantage of that weakness. So, | | basically, when you attack an enemy weak to fire with your melee or ranged | | weapon, you will take significantly more damage, thus killing the enemy | | faster than you usually would. Overall, it is not that special, but still | | something useful in various situations of the game. See the enemies for | | who is weak to fire, and then you can judge at what point of the game you | | will need this augmentation. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Augmentation #3: Health | FOUND: Witchwood (au_03) | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | Game Value................. 45,000 | My Rank......................... 2/8 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Now this is one of my favorite augmentations also. If you are using a lot | | of regular potions during gameplay, this is the PERFECT augmentation for | | you. Basically, your health will constantly fill as long as you have the | | augmented weapon equiped. This will save you tons of potions in the long | | run. However, if you have upgraded your health thoroughly throughout the | | game, this is probably not the MOST important augmentation, but still very | | useful for basically anyone. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Augmentation #4: Lightning | FOUND: Hook Coast (au_04) | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | Game Value.................. 1,550 | My Rank......................... 7/8 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | As I am sure you already know, enemies have weaknesses. Some are weak to | | light., and this augmentation really takes advantage of that weakness. So, | | basically, when you attack an enemy weak to ligh. with your melee or range | | weapon, you will take significantly more damage, thus killing the enemy | | faster than you usually would. Overall, it is not that special, but still | | something useful in various situations of the game. See the enemies for | | who is weak to light, and then you can judge at what point of the game you | | will need this augmentation. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Augmentation #5: Mana | FOUND: Hook Coast (au_05) | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | Game Value................. 45,000 | My Rank......................... 3/8 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | This augmentation is very similar to that of Health. Basically, instead of | | gaining health constantly while the augmentation is equiped, you will gain | | mana constantly. This is very important for people who like to use magic. | | Of course, if you have upgraded your magic a lot, that probably means you | | are a magic type person, so you are going to have to make the choice of | | double-upgrading your magic capabilites. I, personally, like to have a | | more balanced set of abilities. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Augmentation #6: Piercing | FOUND: Oakvale (au_06) | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | Game Value.................. 2,100 | My Rank......................... 5/8 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | This augmentation is more common, but not all that useful. If you are a | | mana user often, I would not even think about this. Basically, your | | physical attacks will be more powerful, piercing through the enemies | | defense capabilities. However, your strength doesn't significantly go up. | | So, if you have weapons to waste, this might be a good augment for those. | |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Augmentation #7: Sharpening | FOUND: Lady Grey's House (au_07) | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | Game Value.................. 2,600 | My Rank......................... 4/8 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | This augmentation is slightly better than the previous, but very similar. | | Again, if you are a frequent magic user, you will probably want to stay | | away from this augment, unless you have weapons to waste, of course. But, | | it will increase your strength so your attacks do more damage. Again, it | | is basically the same as Piercing. Your attacks get stronger, or the enemy | | gets weaker. Yeah, enough said. |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________________________ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Augmentation #8: Silver | FOUND: Knothole Glade (au_08) | |-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------| | Game Value.................. 1,550 | My Rank......................... 6/8 | |_____________________________________|______________________________________| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Balverines and the Undead are harmed by this augmentation. Basically, some | | enemies will be weak to silver, as can be seen in the enemies section. If | | you are fighting Balverines or Undead (Hint: Arena) you will want to use a | | weapon with this augmentation. However, other than those areas, the addon | | is nearly useless. |____________________________________________________________________________| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ === 8.6 - Tattoos ====================================================ma_ta=== Tattoos are just another cool collectible in the game. In this section I will place reader-submitted tips, as well as glitches and secrets I have found in the game. If you have something you would like to contribute, by all means, send me an e-mail and I will give you full credit in this section. --------------------- Tip by Tiffany Larson --------------------- When you are trying to find the Bandit Seeress in Fable, it helps alot (when you are trying to get in the gates) if you shoot the bandit closest to the gate when he is next to the rocks, farthest away from the gates in his loop. If you shoot him, then sneak past into the gates, it's a lot easier. ---------------------- Tip by Chris Nakamichi ---------------------- In clifftop path you have to sneak past bandits to reach Twinblades camp. If you are seen by any of the three bandits then the gates will close and you will have to hide from them for a short time (which is nigh impossible). if you already made the boast not to kill any bandits (oops) then you will have to sneak past the bandits and not kill them. The way to get past them is to first engage in sneak mode and sneak past the first bandit to the log, then run behind the rocks out of sight. Watch the mini-map up in the corner of your screen, where the bandits will show up as red dots, and wait until the two northern dots are together on the far side of the rocks you are standing on. Run around the rocks and past the bandits all the way to the gate and through to the other side to reach twinblades camp. ------------------------------- Tip by [email protected] ------------------------------- Now, to business. This is about fighting Rock and Earth Trolls. instead of running up to them and melee-ing them, you can simply deflect their rocks back to them by hitting the rocks with your melee weapon. If you get your timing right, which might take a few tries, it makes life a lot easier. This technique also takes away more damage faster than the listed technique. -------------------- Tip by Heather Blair -------------------- In the trader escort quest you can save the injured trader by running through the whole quest in slow time. the enemys will follow u theywiil not hurt the traders. i do this every time i play this game u will miss out on some experence but the traders rarely get hurt. and i save the injured trader every time. as long as u get through the quest fast u shoulnt have aproblem. the only enemys i fight r the balverine and the earth troll. oh and if you hit the rocks he throughs at u they will riccochett back at him. it kills him fast and works very well if u have phisical sheild. -------------------- Tip by Billy Strange -------------------- I have found and easier way to defeat maze at Hook Coast. All you have to do is get at least level 2 enflame and whenever you get close enough to use it non-stop. You will need lots of will potions though. ---------------- Tip by Ted Brown ---------------- I went to the stones on the witchwood quest before i asked the man for the name and i spelled hits and nothing happened i did it three times. I later went and found out the name from the man at the temple (have to give him the ruby from the dead rock troll to get it though) and I went back and spelt HITS, by pressing A and it never worked, so i got mad and attacked them...so that is how you have to do it, pressing A shows you their letter, but attack them in the correct order and the Demon Door opens. ---------------- Tip by Ted Brown ---------------- An easy way to get renown...show your trophies to the bandits at twinblades bandit camp. I got 240 renown first time and 120 2nd time. There are only four areas that you have to go to to show off your trophy and they are all a 10 foot walk from the fire. ----------------- Tip by The Hacker ----------------- I was reading your fable:the lost chapters walkthrough, when i noticed that on the first level, you say to only do good things. it is, in fact, possible to do both good and bad things on most of the parts. for example, the man cheating on his wife: you tell him you will keep his secret, then go and tell his wife. On the watching chickens part, you tell him you will, then run and smash the barrels then get back before the time is up. ---------- Tips by CR ---------- was reading your Fable Walkthroug/FAQ on GameFAQs and I noticed a few things that you may have overlooked or forgotten to add. With no further ado: Demon Door #9 (Witchwood Stones): If you spell out a common swear word with the stones, a few Balverines are spawned. They shouldn't appear if you simply spell out HITS. Silver Augmentation: You say in your FAQ that White Balverines are invulnerable to any weapon that hasn't been Silvered. This is incorrect. Actually, White Balverines just take an utterly long time to kill with 'normal weapons'. I found this out to my cost when I accidentally added the Augmentation you are given during the quest to a ranged weapon (yes, I could've tried to kill it like that but it didn't seem like a good idea at the time, what with all the Balverines trying to rip my innards out). I hacked and hacked and the health bar went down veeeeerrrry slowly. Tip for Trolls: I was going to describe the process of batting Trolls' rocks back at their throwers, but someone seems to have beaten me to it. However, I would like to add that performing this little trick is made much, much easier, for obvious reasons, by the use of Slow Time, and that damaging a Troll in this way will increase your Skill experience rather than Strength (my guess at the reasoning behind this is that even though you're using a melee weapon, you're attacking from a distance, which is part of Accuracy and therefore Skill). Physical Shield: You say that you always take a small amount of physical damage despite the shield. This is incorrect. Actually, the amount of mana it takes to absorb any given attack decreases as you level the spell up. (For example: an attack doing 50 damage might take up half your mana bar at level 1, but only 1/20th at level 4.) If ever you run out of mana, the 'remainder' of the damage that had not yet been absorbed is applied to your health bar. However, you never take damage while the spell is active and you have mana remaining. I think a better description of the spell would be "converts physical damage to mana loss" or "allows you to substitute your mana bar for your health bar". Tip for really, really easy experience: This is sort of a continuation of the explanation for Physical Shield, as the spell forms an integral part of this strategy. This method really shines late in the game, possibly even after defeating Jack and used as a way to max out all skills and spells. It goes like this: You first need access to the Cliffside Path (between the Underground Passage and the Underground Chamber underneath Bargate Prison), due to the limitless supply of Undead that spawn here once you take a few steps towards the center of the area. This can also be done earlier in the game, at the Ancient Cullis Gate in Darkwood (after the Hook Coast quest if I'm not mistaken), as this area spawns a limitless supply of Hobbes. No matter how you do it, you need a place with LOTS of enemies. Next, you need a level of Physical Shield that corresponds to your chosen training ground. Level 2 should do it for the Ancient Cullis Gate, but if you intend on tackling the Undead, you should max the spell out or be prepared to go through an obscene amount of Will Potions. (Come to think of it, take an obscene amount of Will Potions anyway. You never know.) A weapon with the Experience Augmentation will speed the process along, but it isn't necessary. If you're unwilling to shell out 50000 hard-earned gold pieces for a store-bought Augmentation, the Sword of Aeons sports one, as does the Murren Greathammer in the 20-Key chest at the Heroes' Guild. In addition, I always save up all the 'Ages' potions throughout the game to use with this method, because they are affected by Combat Multipliers. Now, to business. Step into the area of your choice, cast Physical Shield, and get ready to rumble. Just continue to slaughter your way up through the Combat Multiplier levels. Because you have Physical Shield active, you will never take physical damage, as long as you keep your mana bar topped up (I always use a potion when the bar gets around half empty; playing it safe pays off here). Because you never take damage, your Multiplier mounts and mounts, as does the experience (General and specific) that you get from each kill. From here on in, the only limits are the sky and your patience. My highest Multiplier ever was something like 612. When you think you've reached a high enough Multiplier, step back from the fight, use Slow Time or crack open your Inventory screen and use all your 'Ages' potions. (Don't leave the area, or your hard-earned Multiplier will be cut in half!) Each potion gives you a base 100 experience in the area it's particular to. Do the math. 100 multiplied by 612 = 61200 Experience in one swallow. The reason I suggest using something that slows or stops the flow of game time is because your Multiplier decreases for every second you're not fighting, so you should aim to get your potions drunk before it has time to go down too much. As a side note: if you walk to the Greatwood Caves and teleport from there to somewhere within walking distance of your chosen location, you can Recall back to the Caves and open the Demon Door there with a much, much more satisfied feeling than if you had just barely scraped a Multiplier of 15 from the Earth Troll or some such baddie. If you've followed this method you should easily end up with 999999 General experience (the highest possible amount) and an even more obscene number in the other three areas. For me, that happened at a Multiplier of around 300. YMMV. Berserk: It may be worth mentioning that with Berserk maxed out and active, and a sufficiently obscene level of Physique (I had the entire Strength attribute maxed out when I discovered this), it's possible to behead a human with a single blow from your fist. Produce: Golden Carrots and Moonfish have the effect of turning the day/night timer approximately one-half turn in a particular direction when eaten. Golden Carrots only take effect at night (although they can be eaten during they day, doing this is a waste) and cause the sun to rise instantly. This is useful if you want to do some shopping but only got back to town after nightfall (among other things). Moonfish do the opposite, turning day into night, perhaps to facilitate sneaking around in people's houses. Red Meat, Carrots and Fish are particular to the three specific Experience areas, and grant minimal experience in their area when eaten. Specifically, Red Meat grants 3 base Strength experience, Carrots grant 3 base Skill experience and Fish (any color) grant 3 base Will experience. All of these are, of course, affected by Combat Multipliers just like 'Ages' potions are. Finally, Tofu and Crunchy Chicks are particular to each alignment. As you may have guessed, Crunchy Chicks, when eaten, swing your Alignment bar 5 points towards Evil (up to a certain point) and Tofu does the opposite, adding 5 points towards a Good alignment, likewise up to a certain point. Elixirs: It may be worth noting that the Elixir of Life actually extends your health bar slightly, as well as filling it. -------------------- Tips by Penni Schmon -------------------- First, the Elixer of Life DOES extend your health bar while replenishing your life, so they need to be used strategically. The Elixer of Will does the same. Second, the Ages potions have a base of 1000 experience, not 100 as mentioned by one of your tipsters. Though, the combat multiplyer effect applies (yeah!) Thirdly, there is another way into the Demon Door that wants you to do a "great evil"(the one by the Greatwood Cullis Gate). Eat crunchy chicks in front of it. Yeah, I know, sounds pretty gross and you get 5 evil points for each chick you eat. (The good news is you can eat the same amount of --equally gross, tofu to balance yourself back out in the good-bad department.) However, there is a trick to accomplishing this. You have to eat them very slowly. You'll need between 10 and 15 of the little fuzzy things to do this. Go up to the Demon Door and talk to it, then eat the chicks one at a time waiting for the little side bar that tells you you're getting evil points to disappear before eating the next one. It took 15 for me, but a buddy of mine did it with 10. I have a feeling it may have something to do with your current alignment when you start (he's always leaned a bit toward the dark side :) ) Lastly, I found a very satisfing way to deal with those pesky little fairys, sprites, succubus, whatever you want to call those annoying little balls of light that spawn more annoying creatures and are darn hard to hit. Slow time. If you pull it off when they're near the ground, you can catch them in thier human-like form. Then you can whack the daylights out of them with whatever melee weapon you want,or hit 'em with arrows if you want. I like to take out my stick and beat them about the head and shoulders for a bit before I hit them with something a bit more lethal. Of course, the easiest way to off them is the combo of slow time and divine fury (oh how I LOVE that spell!). Not as satisfing, but efficient. Oh, I just thought of another one. If you pick up the quest for the Hobbe Cave, you can exploit a glitch in the game. Take the quest card, and head for the Rosewood Cottage. Save BEFORE you enter the area. Enter the area, and the quest info pops up. Go around to the side of the cottage and you'll see a circle of flowers where a silver key is buried. Also, a little behind the cottage is a bunch of thorny bushes hiding a chest with 500 gold in it. Dig up the key, and grab the gold and then try to leave the area. Either go back out the door, or use your guild seal (I use the seal). You will be asked if you want to reload just before the start of the quest or stay in the area. RELOAD. You will be dumped just outside the entrance to the quest area and still have in your posession, the newly aquired key and gold. Head back into the quest area and whadda ya know, the key and the gold have been reloaded as well. Repeat as often as you like, though, my game freezes up around the 18th or 19th key. My buddy, however, got 25 keys before he got bored and decided to do something else. Btw, you can repeat the Demon Door in this way also, but I have never seen more than one set of Bright Will armor in my inventory at one time. I suppose you could find someone to sell it to and then go back and get it again, but why bother? One last thing: The Bordello in Darkwood. After you have aquired the deed to the place by getting the old guy drunk, you do not have to give it to the girls. I kept the deed (no dark side points that I could see) and now collect 1,710 gold pieces every few days. I may give it to them later, but right now, it's free income. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ _____ ___ |***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***|~~+~~|***| 10. This is the e-mail policy portion of this FAQ. I am going to list what I believe to be "acceptable" or "unacceptable" e-mails. Of course, it would be very wise of you to correctly e-mail me if you are hoping for a response. Also, if you have made a mistake when e-mailing me, it is very likely I will block you so that you cannot send me any more messages. So, now that you all know what will happen if you incorrectly e-mail me, you have to find out what is acceptable and what is unacceptable. Please read below. Do you have information that we have not covered in this FAQ? Well, read below. If you happen to know something in the FAQ please e-mail me. I am always interested in adding information from readers, but there are a few exceptions. If this FAQ is NOT labeled "Final" as its version, your added information may not neccessarily be used. I could possibly already know your information, but have not gotten to that section yet. So, do not guarantee that I will post your comments just because you were nice enough to e-mail us. Now, for a little more about an "acceptable" e-mail, let's talk about the subject of the e-mail. I get a lot of e-mails about other FAQs that I have written, so I can easily miss your e-mail unless you identify it. So, in the subject line, please include the words "Fable" in your subject line. This makes it a lot easier to sort things out in my e-mail. If you do not refer to what game you are commenting/asking for help on, I will most likely ignore the entire e-mail. The last aspect that we would like to talk about is reading the FAQ. If you are in doubt, check around the entire FAQ before coming to us for direct help. It is likely that information is in other parts of the FAQ, and not neccessarily the part that you are looking at during that very moment. Any comments that are already answered in this FAQ will simply be ignored and blocked, as I have taken a lot of time to write this guide for you, you can do a little something for me as well. If any of the above guidelines are not followed correctly your e-mails will be considered "unacceptable" and I am sure you know what that means. I personally think that it will be simple to follow the guidelines, and you will not have to worry very much about the process. Thank you, again, for your cooperation. === 10.2 - Version History ============================================ma_vh=== Version 1.4 - Aug. 1, 2006 - Finished Demon Doors.
