*ABOUT GUIDE*

The game Destroy All Humans! is an enjoyable and unique entertainment that
given two days of play and plenty of sugar, one can beat all the story line
missions. Some points prove tricky though, and the noble goal of finishing 100%
of the game offers many hours of extra play that this guide hopes to insure
stays enjoyable. One will not find storyline spoilers in this guide, but instead
instructions on how to get the game to show you all its secrets and hidden
treats.

I myself have already completed the game, but am now going through each mission
compiling information as it is introduced and adding it to the guide then. As
such until I play the game again far enough to unlock the infamous Anal Probe
for instance you will not find details about it in this guide.

I have currently played through and compiled data on 19% of the game as a whole,
and have uploaded the most current version onto GameFaqs for your viewing
pleasure. Please reference the Legal Stuff section near the end of this guide,
if you would like to place this guide on your web page, or edit it in anyway
shape or form.

*CONTROLS*
WIP (This section will be finished on its own time.)

================================================================================
*CAST OF CHARACTERS*

---Crypto---
The Alien Cryptosporidium 137, commonly called Crypto, is the hero of the story,
and you control him or one of his clones at all times while playing the game. He
was voice acted by Grant Albrecht, and if you go to http://www.imdb.com/name/
nm0016944/ youll find some more of the stuff he has voiced for.

---Orthopox---
Orthopox is not only a fatherly figure to Crypto but also Cryptos boss, and as
such he is the one that gives you all of your missions, even if they are as
stupid as racing cows. If you are unable to tell who voice acts this character
you have no business being a planetary Invader. Feel free to go over to http://
www.imdb.com/name/nm0395777/ if you need proof, though I dont think youll need
to unless you are curious what non-alien things he has voice acted for.

---Silhouette---
This person is a mysterious figure that you first hear about by a couple of men
in suits at the end of your very first mission on the planet that we like to
call Earth. I would say who voice acts this character, but that would spoil part
of the plot of this game, so instead Ill give you the clue that the voice actor
had a roll in the movie Fight Club though Im not saying who.

---General Armquist---
*classified*

---President Huffman---
President Huffman is the current president of the United States of America, but
more information is currently classified.

---Bert Whither---
*classified*

---Mayor---
The Mayor could be the mayor of any town, and the details that separate this
mayor from any other are insignificant, in short he is a popular figure that
locals will listen to, but holds no real power.

---Miss Rockwell---
Miss Rockwell, is Cryptos first high profile victim and was chosen simply
because she happened to be the dumbest human around. Miss Rockwell currently
resides in Shady Pines Sanitarium, asking the doctors there if they could and
would probe her like that little green man from outer space did to her at the
fair.

---Turnipseed Family---
This family happened to be the very first people on Earth that witnessed you on
your very first visit to the planet. Mrs. Turnipseed is currently residing in a
hospital for those that have suffered from severe psychological trauma, and is
thought to have murdered her husband.

---Narrator---
Whatever your reason is for wanting to know about the Narrator, all there really
is to say about him is that he was voiced by Bill Farmer, and is based off of
the narrator for the cult classic Plan 9 From Outer Space. Check out http://
www.imdb.com/name/nm0267724/ to find out some of the stuff he has done.

================================================================================
*CRYPTO'S ARSENAL*

---Defencive Shield---
Cryptos shield is very important, because on his own he is very squishy and
cant take much damage before he dies. If you find this to be low, retreat from
combat and let it recharge. Should you die though, dont worry because a new
clone of you will be grown really fast up on the mothership.

---A Realy Big Brain---
An often forgotten weapon, people frequently only use Cryptos physic powers to
conceal themselves as perfectly normal humans. Once concealed though you are
unable to use any weapons other than your vastly superior intelligence. Try to
learn how to throw, distract, and put to sleep people while in human form, and
then to recharge your mind power before you return to your true and frightening
appearance. Also when throwing things that are dangerous to you, try to throw
them towards other things that are also dangerous to you, keeping in mind the
old human phrase two birds with one stone where instead of a stone you are
throwing one of those pesky birds.

1st Upgrade: Pick up vehicles (500 DNA)
  2nd Upgrade: ???
  3rd Upgrade: ???

---Zap-O-Matic---
The Zap-O-Matic is your very first weapon, and a useful one at later points in
the game when you are low on ammo with other more powerful weapons. The Zap gun
requires no ammunition, but instead needs to spend time recharging after sending
out charges for extended periods of time. I am unsure if this is useful or not,
but you can rotate cars by aiming the gun at one of the corners and firing, but
I am sure a creative mind might think of something.

1st Upgrade: Chain Lightning to 1 additional target (250 DNA)
2nd Upgrade: Chain Lightning to 2 additional targets (??? DNA)
  3rd Upgrade: ???

---Disintegrator Ray---
The Disintegrator Ray is one of my favorite weapons to use on the humans,
because of its quick fire rate and tendency to kill things quickly and
efficiently. This weapon is useless though when gathering brain stems because it
has a habit of vaporizing the brain along with everything else.

1st Upgrade: Increased ammo capacity and fire rate (400 DNA)
  2nd Upgrade: ???
  3rd Upgrade: ???

---Ion Detonator---
*researching* (boom and poof)

---Anal Probe---
This fantastic weapon is really enjoyable to use on various living creatures,
especially when using a full charge. I suggest using this gun whenever you have
a mission to gather brainstems, or if you just wish to hear some of the comments
people make when you probe them with various levels of power.

================================================================================
*SAUCER'S ARSENAL*

---Alloy Hull---
The Saucer is constructed out of a durable alloy not findable naturally on
Earth, but take note that it must be repaired and does not recharge on its own.
Youll have to either go back to the Mothership or find repair kits floating
around conveniently dropped by the Mothership for your use in insuring that you
Destroy All Humans.

---Death Ray---
The Death Ray is a fairly straightforward weapon, with the only things it
requires from you is aiming and shooting, with a bit of a recharge every now and
then.

1st Upgrade: Increased recharge rate (500 DNA)
2nd Upgrade: Increased damage (1000 DNA)

---Abducto Beam---
Use the abducto beam to pick things up and toss them around, but aiming your
throws can be a bit tricky. Please let me know if you think of any cool use for
this weapon.

---Sonic Boom---
*researching* (boom)

---Quantum Deconstructor---
*researching* (BIG BOOM)

*WALK THROUGH OF MAIN MISSIONS*

---Mission 1: "Destination Earth!"---
The first mission you are given is by far the easiest mission in the whole game,
with Orthopox telling you exactly what you have to do at a small farm owned by
the Turnipseed family. Take your time to learn the controls, and poke around at
things to see what happens when you use your various abilities on your
surroundings.

When you read the mind of a couple of cows and you unlock your ability to use
your psychokinesis, try not only to lift the cows and play with them, but also
other things around you. At this point in the game, you can only lift small
things, but it can be improved later on after you have made it further in the
game. Something to make note of now is that if your mind gets week from flinging
things around, that you can recharge it either by waiting or by reading the mind
of any living creature.

Things start to get heated up when the police arrive, but not so heated that you
need worry about breaking a sweat when you deal with them. Before you head back
into your saucer though, you might want to take a moment collect the DNA of the
two cops and the farmers wife and to examine the affects of your Zap-O-Matic on
the near by cop car. I dont know if this serves any practical use but you can
actually rotate the car with your Zap gun by aiming at one of the four corners
of the car.

After you get bored with the car and you head into your spacecraft, youll find
you actually already have access to two weapons though Orthopox only mentions
one of them. The second weapon is the abduction ray, and you can actually get
through the whole game without using it once. Play with it though, and perhaps
you might learn something practical you can do with it, other than just flinging
random things off into the sunset or over a hill.

Once you blow enough buildings up, the military arrives though you should find
them easy to deal with. When the final military vehicle is destroyed, a
cinematic begins with a couple of men in suits showing up to babble a bit then
drive off, leaving you to play on the farm until you have gathered a total of
250 DNA. What the men talk about smells vaguely like plot so that conversation
or any other conversation smelling of plot will not be detailed in this guide.
Have fun collecting the rest of the DNA that you need to unlock the next
mission, and then say good-bye for now to the farm as you head back to the
Mothership.

---Between Mission 1 and Mission 2---
If you didnt get enough DNA during the first mission to unlock Mission 2, I
suggest that you return to the Mothership then come back down to unlock the Anal
Probe. You have three ways of gathering DNA, and they include killing the local
farmers, doing side quests, or collecting the Alien Probes scattered around the
landscape. I suggest that if you wish to kill farmers you pick one of the two
side quests that specifically request that you do that, so as to give you that
boost to your DNA gathering. Please see the sections on Side Missions and Alien
Probes to help you demonstrate your mastery of the insignificant farm and its
ignorant inhabitance.

---Mission 2: "Earth Women are Delicious!"---
This second mission offers a bit more fun over your first visit to Earth, now
that you are able to disguise yourself as a human, allowing you to get up close
and personal. The first thing youll need to do is find a likely human that you
can use for your holobob, and a handy target can be found just a little bit down
the street from where you parked your saucer. Once youve taken a form get
accustomed to reading minds of near by humans to maintain your deception, unless
you enjoy seeing how quickly you can get people angry with you. Try to use your
hypnotic powers on various people making them fall asleep, or provide a
distraction to those around you. Once you feel confident with your ability to
control peoples minds without blowing your cover head into the fair grounds.

If you get close enough to the stationary people with as much mental powers left
as you can manage you can hear them gossiping about such things as the strange
things that happened down at the farm, or details about the Miss Rockwell
contest. As the farm is the past and we care more about the future, read the
minds of the people in the fair grounds to learn what you can about this Miss
Rockwell.

The three people you must read the minds of include the farmer at the entrance
to the fair grounds, the fairest wheel operator, and the Mayor. Once you have
read all three minds you are given the order to abduct Miss Rockwell, who can be
found inside the large central tent. All you have to do is walk up to her and
use your vastly superior mental powers to hypnotize her with the order to go to
your saucer for your experiments.

While Miss Rockwell doesnt seem to mind the experiments, the authorities are
just a bit irked with you and interrupt you before you can finish. It is now
time to enter your saucer and rain destruction down on the fair grounds, and as
nothing new is really thrown against you at this point, have fun blowing things
up.

---Between Mission 2 and Mission 3---
After finishing your second mission you are informed that Pox has researched a
new upgrade for your Zap gun that increases the number of targets it can affect
at the same time by one. It only costs 250 DNA, so I suggest you go ahead and
get it now if you can afford it, and if you cant you should go back to the
Turnipseed Farm and work on getting yourself some more DNA.

---Mission 3: "Citizen Crypto"---
In my opinion this is one of the most amusing missions in the entire game, with
it having deep dark secrets regarding its radiation emitting cows. Speaking of
radiation emitting cows there is one right in front of where you happened to
land the saucer so you better go check it out. It seems that human scientists
are meddling in things that they should not, so what you need to do is sneak
your way over toward one of them and take on the appearance of the first human
you see.

There are many ways that you can kill the scientists, but by far the most fun is
to lift up a cow and slam it into the ground near them, thus showing the
scientists why they should not tamper with things they do not understand. No
matter how subtle you are though the Mayor will notice and run away like a
frightened pansy little girl. A time limit will appear on the screen for how
long you have to deal with the mayor, but dont panic, as this is plenty of
time, so do not exit your human form.

Follow the mayor to city hall, and remember to read minds while rush by them so
your ruse doesnt end at an inopportune moment, causing the police to open fire
on you. Once you reach the mayor, put both him and the police officer sent to
protect him to sleep, and change your form to that of the mayors so that you can
deceive the towns folks.

While it may seem counter intuitive now that you are pretending to be a
politician, answer the first question you are asked with the truth and the crowd
for the most part will eat it up. Everyone but the actual farmer that owns the
cows will believe you, now you bend the truth just a touch to keep everyone
happy. Because people in this game seem to think you are a communist, blame them
for the strange events that have been going on and the farmer will be satisfied
with your answer. Now that the crowd is really warming up to you, act a bit
patriotic to avoid suspicion to your self and youll soon be having them eating
out of the palm of your hand.

This press conference is going on for a bit here, and you may be tempted to feel
confident enough to enslave the human race at this point, but the correct thing
to do is threaten communism. Of course some loud-mouthed farmer doesnt
understand how the fair was destroyed and wants a better answer from you, so all
you have to do is make some empty promises about finding the one responsible.
The humans start to prove how annoying they really are when they ask you about a
city you have yet to even hear of called Santa Modesta. Now that you have gotten
an idea of how the political mind works, all you have to do is appeal to
peoples egos to get them to stop bothering you, so all you have to do is insult
Santa Modesta and the crowd will finally leave you be.

---Between Mission 3 and Mission 4---
Pox has researched a new upgrade to your mental powers that lets you pick up
vehicles, and it only costs 500 DNA, so I suggest you pick this up before going
on to the next mission.

---Mission 4: "Alien Pool Party"---
For this mission and most future missions the very first thing you should do is
get a human disguise before you freak people out and get the military hunting
you down like an animal. In this mission it is even more important because if
you raise your warning level up to police involvement you will fail. So grab the
image of one of the approaching police officers and run on off to find brains to
scan so that you can locate the alpha male of this city, or commonly called the
Mayor.

Also, youll find at street most street corners signs that point to the Mayors
pool party so you might just want to follow those signs to get to your
destination. Once you locate the Mayor, which happens to sound exactly the same
as the Mayor of Rockwell, read his mind to discover out that he is an idiot.
Hypnotize the pitiful human to get him to end the party and prepare for some not
so random destruction of city property.

As soon as the Mayor has the party out of the way, get out of your human costume
and start shooting policemen and their vehicles, gathering ammo as needed. In
the future when smell-o-vision has been invented, youll be able to smell the
burning flesh as you incinerate anything that gets in your path. Until that day
comes though, youll just have to get along with watching as their bodies
smolder away into nothing in a matter of seconds.

---Mission 5: "Televisions of Doom!"---
The first part of this mission can be tricky, as you have to destroy a car and
retrieve its contents before it gets to its location and you cannot enter your
saucer to do so. The problem is the car seems to be fairly durable and you dont
have many upgrades for your weapons yet, with your best weapon of choice being
your Disintegration Ray.

A good strategy is to use your jet pack to catch up to the car as quickly as you
can, then use your mental powers to lift it up off the ground throwing it into a
building. The damage done to the car at this point likely wont be much, but it
should prevent it from running away, allowing you to finish it with the
Disintegrator.

Once youve picked up the briefcase, find a nice human to assume the identity of
so you dont attract more attention than you already have. The brief case has
information about a man named Sleepy Ernst, so head on over to the TV station
and read his mind before you vaporize him and his car. While you could get out
of your disguise to deal with this using guns, I suggest the much more creepy
way of using your mental powers to slam him into the ground and then throw the
car around.

Once you have that dealt with head down to the houses and get the next part of
your mission. This is basically a checkpoint race mission, but with the added
twist of at each checkpoint you have to use your mental power on the rabbit
ears before going on to the next checkpoint, that and the order you do it in
doesnt matter. If you start with the building behind you and to your left you
should find an Alien Probe next to it, and if you continue in a clockwise
manner, youll find a second one between two of the houses next to a tree. Even
though you only have three minutes to bend everything properly, you should have
enough time to make those two detours.

---Mission 6: "Aliens Stole My Brain Stem!"---
This is the first mission that should provide any sort of real challenge for you
as it introduces new obstacles that youll have to learn to deal with unless you
enjoy getting killed. The first set of obstacles is the EMP mines scattered
about the city, which will disable your weapons and jetpack for a short period
of time should you get to close to them while in your alien form. You can either
shoot these before they disable your gun, or you can throw them about with your
mind, the second one being the safer as you can do this while disguised.
Remember moving about while disguised and dealing with as much as you can before
you have to reveal your self is always the safest way.

Make your way toward the nearest waypoint where you should see five things
including, a policeman, two EMP mines, and two of the brainstems that you are
looking for. Unfortunately you can only pick up the brainstems when you arent
in your disguise, and the moment you disable your disguise the EMP mines will
disable your weapons and the police officer will start to fire at you. While
that is but a small problem, and we could do it that way, I suggest a much safer
way. First while in your disguise and fully charged on your mental powers, throw
the EMP mines, followed by the pesky police officer using your mind away from
you as far as you can. Recharge off of one of the passing civilians and then
resume your normal form while standing directly on one of the Brainstem, thus
causing you to pick it up the moment your disguise fully dissipates. As soon as
you have the Brainstem assume the form of one of the near by people as quickly
as you can. Repeat for the next Brainstem.

If you did that last part well, you might only have some people noticing that
something strange is going on, and hopefully not even the police are even
looking at you funny. Wander away and let the heat die down before going onto
the next waypoint, where you should meet your next challenge, a Majestic Agent.
The Majestic Agents have this annoying habit of disabling your disguise when
they get to close to you, and unfortunately you cant use your weapons when in
your costume to just kill them quickly before that happens, though if they do
disable your costume then of course you can use your weapons. The next problem
they pose, is that the Majestic Agents actually have weapons that will take down
your shields faster than the police officers. This makes them a top priority for
being dealt with as quickly and quietly as possible, though loud and drawn out
works too if you have no other available choices.

As always, I prefer the subtle approach though it can be more time consuming,
and may not be as enjoyable for people that really like to see things get
vaporized. The trick on dealing with the Majestic Agents is to get as close as
you can without turning red, indicating that they know you are near by. Once you
have gotten close as you can to them, very quietly pick them up one by one and
throw them off a cliff or into the sunset, thus opening the way to continue your
plans.

If you do this you should be able to get most of the brainstems without much of
a problem, though some are a bit hidden and thus require a bit of work. Some of
the brainstems are located inside of electrical boxes, and the boxes need to be
broken open before you can acquire the brainstems, and if you are going for the
subtle approach then the best way is to throw them into near by buildings. Soon
you should have all twelve brainstems, with your next task to be to collect
brainstems from the living. So switch on over to your Anal Probe and have some
fun watching people run around clutching there posteriors before their heads
explode.

---Mission 7: "This Island Suburbia"---
The first part of this mission is easy, and involves nothing that you havent
done already, and should find no problems in tracking down the scientists and
reading their minds. They can be found driving ice-cream trucks and they stop
every now and then and two dinners to restock in their special brand of mind
controlling snacks for the kids. Your best bet for this first part of the
mission is to wait at one of the dinners until you catch two of them, and then
go to the other dinner for the other two scientists.

Now comes the fun part of destroying the dinners and all of the scientists
research, so head back on over to your saucer, hope in and have some fun blowing
the buildings up. After you destroy the dinner, you are then burdened with the
task of destroying a Majestic convoy and the army patrol, so be careful of
tanks. The largest threat here is the surface to air missiles fired from
stationary gun turrets, and as they are able to heat seek your best bet is to
dodge the missiles at the last possible second. If your ship gets overly damaged
retreat and destroy some buildings in search of a repair kit, then head back
into the battle.

After you destroy the current military targets you are given the task of
abducting one of the Majestic, and taking him back to your saucer. To do this
you need to get out of your saucer, but before you do that I suggest going and
destroying everything around him so that you can get to him more safely. This
can take a bit of time to blow up all those stationary turrets, a couple of
places that drop repair kits regularly is right above the church and inside the
TV stations parking lot.

Once all the turrets are removed go land your saucer and assume a human form, as
the only one that can pull you out of your form is the one majestic you are
going to go abduct. Now just like you did in the last mission sneak up to the
Majestic agent and use your mental powers on him. This time though dont pick
him up and throw him to his death, but instead hypnotize him into going to your
saucer for interrogation and then ultimately his death. Stay in human form and
follow him back reading his mind every now and then so you dont loose your
disguise, and everything should go smoothly. If you loose human form, the
military personal is going to open fire on you, and likely shoot the agent in
the cross fire, so dont screw up or you might have to redo the whole mission.

---Between Mission 7 and Mission 8---
Pox should have some more upgrades in his lab ready for you, so be sure to grab
all of them before starting the next mission, because concealment will only take
you so far.

---Mission 8: "Teenage Zombies from Outer Space!"---
Avoid detection from the police as you make your way toward the drive in
theater, because youll be killing bigger fish than them in just a short period
of time. Defending the theater are three Majestic agents, that shouldnt prove
to hard to dispatch, so just choose whatever means you consider your favorite
way of neutralizing threats. Do be careful not to kill the movie viewers, as you
want them left alive to watch the Furon propaganda that Pox has prepared.

Youll find that the prepared film is guarded by some military personal, and you
should have less trouble dealing with them than you did the Majestic Agents.
Once you have acquired the movie and placed it in the projector youll have to
protect it from an onslaught of Majestic Agents trying to thwart your plans, so
be ready. If you run out of ammo for your Disintegrator Ray, youll find more
ammo on top of the gazebo near the projector and on top of the theaters office.

After you successfully defend the projector the humans that had been watching
the movie will be under your control as long as they dont take damage. I
suggest extracting their Brainstems while they are alive, yet without the anal
probe, but its wholly up to you if you want to stay here or go back to the
mothership. Once you do decide to return to the mothership you might want to
check out the archives and watch a clip from the movie Plan 9 from Outerspace
to witness one of the best movies ever made.

*GUIDE TO SIDE MISSIONS*

Most of the side missions can be done more than once, with them getting harder
with each attempt. Attempts marked with *** have not yet been finished, but are
assumed to not be the highest level of difficulty. If something is said to be
near the landing site, that means the site nearest to where you come into the
map at.

---Turnipseed Farm---
--Turnipseed Terror: This mission can be found in the fenced in area just to the
side of where the cows are kept. In this mission you need to gather a certain
number of brain stems in a specific amount of time depending on how many times
youve succeeded at doing this mission. A good strategy is to use the Anal Probe
and first going into the cow pin. There youll find a farmer inside of the pin
and a farmer and a girl just outside of it. After you gather those three brains,
head to your left toward the windmill and youll find three more farmers in that
field. From that field, if you still need brain stems head toward the stand near
the landing site where youll find a farmer and two girls.

1st time: Collect 4 Brain Stems in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 150 DNA.
2nd time: Collect 5 Brain Stems in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 150 DNA.
3rd time: Collect 6 Brain Stems in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 150 DNA.
4th time: Collect 7 Brain Stems in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 150 DNA.
5th time: Collect 8 Brain Stems in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 150 DNA.
6th time: Collect 9 Brain Stems in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 150 DNA.
7th time: Collect 10 Brain Stems in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 150 DNA.
8th time: Collect 11 Brain Stems in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 150 DNA. ***
9th time: Collect ? Brain Stems in ?:?? minutes. Reward is ??? DNA.

--Rural Race: This mission can be found just a short ways from the landing site
on the dirt road toward the farm house. I've never been that good at races, but
if anyone sends in some good tips on how to do this race and the others like it,
I would be glad to add the information and credit the sender.

1st time: Travel to each checkpoint in 2:00 minutes. Reward is 175 DNA.
2nd time: Travel to each checkpoint in 1:30 minutes. Reward is 175 DNA.
3rd time: Travel to each checkpoint in 1:00 minutes. Reward is 175 DNA. ***
4th time: Travel to each checkpoint in ?:?? minutes. Reward is ??? DNA.

--Farmland Fiasco: This mission can be found on the far side of the lake. There
is a landing site near this mission if you want your ride a bit closer. Do this
mission once you have the Disintegrator Ray,and just run into the field near
this second landing site zaping any farmer that gets in your way. If you run
out of farmers check the other end of the field because they respawn quickly.

1st time: Destroy 6 farmers in 1:30 minutes. Reward is 200 DNA. ***
2nd time: Destroy ? farmers in ?:?? minutes. Reward is ??? DNA.

--Armageddon!: This mission can be found out in the open field near your landing
site. This is the easiest of the Armageddons, so I'm just going to let you have
fun with this one. With all Armageddons, you will only be able to attempt them
once per visit to what ever map you are visiting.

1st time: Destroy all buildings in 3:00 minutes. Reward is 200 DNA. ***
2nd time: Destroy all buildings in ?:?? minutes. Reward is ??? DNA.
