This guide contains information on real life players who aren\'t in the
 game, but I felt needed to be.  The guide is pretty self-explanatory, and
 I will continue to add players as I (or you) see necessary.  It is sorted
 by team, alphabetically, and players are alphabetical by last name under
 each team.  Some categories are left off on some players, such as batting
 stats as most pitchers, which I feel are unimportant.  Any unimportant stuff
 you\'ll have to decide on your own.  Also, feel free to e-mail me if you
 think something is wrong, or just edit it as you feel 
necessary.  Also feel free to e-mail me requests.  I\'m sorry if the 
system of listings is confusing, it was the best way I could think 
of, seeing as there isn\'t a speadsheet program available with 
GameFAQS.  And with that, here\'s the guide:

-General Tips on Creating Players-

-The first thing I look at when I select the Create-A-Player option
 on the screen is the face the computer created player has.
  I go into Physical Attributes and see if the face number he has
 is close to the number I want, and if it isn\'t, I just back out
 without saving him.  That saves a bunch of time compared to having
 to scroll through the 600+ faces to find the one you want.
-For pitchers, sometimes you have to press Done a few times to get their
 effectiveness rating up where you want it.  Unfortunately, the
 highest it usually goes, even if they\'re good overall, is around
 C+ or B-.  For most of the pitchers I listed here, at least a C-
 should be good enough.
-If theres a level (AAA, AA, or A) after a player\'s name, that
 usually means I created them knowing they will probably be up
 in the majors by the end of the season.  Either that, or they\'ve
 been up this year and are back down.  A lot of these guys are in
 the bigs because of an injury, so they may not be there all year
 either.  You can check mlb.com and search that player\'s name if
 you want to know for sure if they\'re in the majors.
-If you care, make sure to change a position player\'s pitching stats
 to D-, and their pitches to a fastball and a changeup.
-If there\'s a slash in their position, such as SP/LR, it usually
 means that they do both.  Seeing as you can\'t slash positions
 while creating them, just pick whichever one makes you feel
 happier inside :-), or find a D- player who has that and the
 bats/throus they need and edit them.  Most of the time if it\'s
 a pitcher who occasionally starts, I\'ll make him a starter and
 have the team put him as long relief or whatever (I have GM control
 of all teams so that\'s easy, if you don\'t you may not want to).
-If you\'re not quite to a player\'s birthday on a season, but
 you\'re like a month away, I usually just make him a year older so
 I don\'t have to worry about having to come back to change it when
 the date arrives.
-I hate to admit it, but I did guess on some areas of some players. 
 If you know, for example, what pitches a guy throws, what color bat
 he uses, or something that I might\'ve guessed about, please e-mail
 me so I can be as close as possible to each of these players.  (The
 reason I make all these players is because I like realistic stats,
 rosters, things like that in sports games, and I only guess on
 obscure things that I can\'t find just so I can complete them.)
