It can be very usefull if you use Eaoden, Idrial and Berethor in all of there powers to make a powerfull team. Eaoden has the Absorb Malice skill and Rage of the Helm that make him strong. All spirit attacks wont hurt him or have any efects (no more sleeping for him). Idrial has Cleansing Waters with takes off all status ailments of your team and Aura of the Valar witch provents her from dying and your teamates(seperate use). And Berethor has many Leadership skills that help heal and boost your team during combat and also the great Gondorian Rampage with is a 5 hit combo.

P.S. Using Hadhod is also usefull if you want protection from damage and give some back
For idraial you can go to the last evil mode level get the 4 acient elfstones and give idraial the spriat one and then with loadwater fruy you do 6399 damge.
To replay the game starting with a very good sword for Berethor, do the evil mode of Osgiliath on your first game and save it on your new game. By doing this, you will get the Sword Of Isildur, which has 200+ damage rating.
