After playing the game for a few hours, I came to the conclusion that if you use a character who has distance moves against Gill (or any other character) the game becomes that much easier to complete. By using characters like Ryu, Ken Masters, Remy, Oro etc...
You should be able to take opponents down quicker. Gill being the final boss, has to come with a catch. After you beat him in both rounds you will notice your character will not celebrate, this is because Gill, regenerates all of his life so fight cautiously and please do block. Remember for easier kills HADOUKEN.
