20 second + Leads

(Long time no post huh.) Just a little pointer on how you might set a new track record or get a 20 second lead in a game. This only applies if you don't suck at steering and this hint is specifically for Metal City. You'll preferably want to use Rouge for this. When you choose your gear, select the "Grinder". ("Sneakers" that let any character grind.) Then blah-blah Metal City and all that crap. Pull back as SOON as the countdown starts until you hit around 2.5 seconds. Run forward. If done correctly, you will have an "Unbelievable!" start which gives you a speed boost. AVOID CARS AT ALL COST. When the first rails come up, grind on them until you come up to the flying ramp. Be sure to get the ring box in the 3rd one as this will make it easier. When you get onto the road, boost as much as possible until you hit the quarter-pipe near the intersection. Jump up and grind on the rail next to it. Try to get one of the ring boxes. By the time you get across and collect some rings, you'll probably have level 3. Just try and boost when you slide around ANY corner and repeat these steps. (The boosting around the corner can give you a 40 or 50 speed boost.) You should (if you can steer right) be about 20 seconds or more ahead of the guy behind you. This is how I get my 30 - 35 second leads.

In Egg factory when turning likew in the wind do a jump and you should go through the wall it's a glitch I have done it like 6 times it never fails well not for me

Less air use

When your are about to turn press R or L like tap it and you should dash to the way you went fast like not the boost dash like slide it's cool it only uses 4 or your air instead of a lot

Easy rings

I hope you have the borad called access or magic carpet cause your going to need it,firsdt go to normal race now go to rule settings now change the number of laps to 1 now go back let it save now pick metal city now choose sonic with the access borad or the magic capet (if you have none)if you don't have any poick tail with is starter board now when you make the big turn and you see the ramp that says "FLY" on it go on there and get the 20 rings next when you fall you shall see 4 set of item bottles go for the one on the middle right it should be10-20 rings.now this is where you might need sonic go to the left after the tunnel and you will see a ramp hold A and let it go when you jump off the ramp now hit A again and you should grind the rail after this you should have 50 rings now try to get more on the ground or wait until one last item container comes up.
