I like this game a lot, but I don't love it. There are still better games that involve dragons out there. It's fun, but there are a lot of flaws to it, like the missions that involve saving or defending other people. When they say they are taking serious damage, they aren't really at all, so basically your risking your guy's life for nothing. Also Al, the one that has been training you, doesn't know how to fight or dodge as good as you, he just lets himself get burned up and hardly ever even comes close to hitting a dragon. So when your playing this game and your supposed to save or keep a person safe while s/he is fixing something, you might as well save Al then the person your supposed to protect because he's the one that will actually lose health. This game isn't really based on the movie, to me it's more like your just a person who hunts down dragons for fun, like a Dragon hunter for example. I like it where you can be the dragon, but sometimes when you want the dragon to do something...it does something else. So that part of the game doesn't connect good with the player and the dragon, which is pretty bad. Also the xbox version is extremely better then the PS2 version because the images are sharper, looks more like a war and lets not forget that PS2 takes much longer to load then the Xbox does. Although those things are good, much of the sound isn't, yes the sound, sound is good but some of the objects your using sounds too much alike or is exactly the same. Like the missiles for example, they don't have their own sound to it, as of loudness and things like that. But overall it's still a fun game and it's much better the the game Eragon because Reign of fire is more challenging then Eragon, well for the experianced gamer it is. When I played that game it took me a whole hour just to beat it, as for Reign of fire it took me a few days to complete.
