Question for Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

I am stuck in santa marina were you have to buy the alien costume from hollywood I have done that and know must grind the coster to scare carny away but the trick you have to do ( up , down+ y) seems to be impossible, so please help me, is it a special move just please help

Ok I am doing that mission to.you have to jump onto the rail and before you hit it go into special and press the buttons in the order.hope that helps

Also you need to be in a good position where you don't hit the coaster.hope that helps to.

Get special first and then grind on the rail part of the rollercoaster but to do the grind you have to do the (up down y) part
