The Suffering: Ties That Bind Questions

I am stuck on the level "born into this" I keep dying after a few minutes of fighting blackmore and all the slayers and arsonists. I have the strategy guide and I attempted the cheat cods but they don't work. Do I have to start the game useing them, when can I enter the cheat codes. Somebody help me!!!

If you are stuck on the last lvel of the suffering ties that bind or [TSTTB]where you have to kill blackmore then as soon as it starts run up the stairs and you will find a amunition crate and it's full of RPG ammo and on the floor beneth it is another ammo crate with tommy gun ammo. Dont worry about using the stairs if you jump off then you wont get hurt but anyway blackmore has a purple glow around him so hes not that hard to find. Blackmore has only 2 attacks, the first one is where he will lunge at you and the second is that he shoots a purple ball of energy at you witch takes down your insainty meter and adds it to his. [he can also transform]. Instead of trying to kill the gray slayers and arsonists, kill the other ones that arent gray so that they will add to your insanity meter.Also to add, you can only hurt blackmore in your transformed state. [sorry to not mention erliar].Oh and I would suggest instead of looking for blackmore in your transformed state, wait for him to appear next to you then transform.
