Question for The Haunted Mansion

I'm stuck in the gallary and I can't figure out the riddle, "Before each painting pass you should, change them all from bad to good.

"It's really bugging me. Please help

Hi I'm stuck on the same level the riddle means that when you walk past a painting from the front it changes good but when you walk past the back it goes bad again when you get to the top there is a wheel but it does not bring back all the staircase if you pass it please can you let me know how to do it cheers
